Raphael pulled his normal car up into a parking lot at the Uzaki Enterprises building, looking up at the building in front of him. There was an odd feeling that it had changed, as he did so. It no longer seemed to loom over him with the mystery stripped away from it, and his conversation with Kazura that day had made him… Well, it had eased a bit of tension in his mind. He’d begun even to entertain the idea that, so long as he didn’t have to work with a shinigami often, if at all, then he might be able to work at the Enterprises. He stopped the thought, though. He had to concern himself with someone like Shizuka and remember to never reveal anything about Ms. Taka; she’d helped him more than he could admit and any possibility of betraying what she was, was out of the question.
He got out of his car, pulling his jacket a bit tighter around himself. Dressed in his usual blue jacket, red plan t-shirt and jeans, he began to realize that he was very bad at dressing for a business. Regardless, he headed into the building, carrying a duffel bag of his normal stuff: personal laptop, external hard drive, and two flashdrives. Donny had always said that he carried too much storage with him, but Raph didn’t agree. To him there was no such thing as too much storage.
As always, he tried to remain as inconspicuous as possible which wasn’t hard given how plain he looked and how much he tried to blend into the crowd. The duffel bag was the only problem when it came to not standing out, as it was a bit large, but he was pretty sure that no one had really been paying attention to him. He planned on doing the same thing that he almost always did: head straight to the computer room and later to that room Kazura had brought him to the first day. If he had to say what he was…well, he was an intern albeit doing a bit more than what he would think a normal intern would be. Regardless, he just had to get to computer room and drop his stuff off. He’d run the usual network systems check, make sure that the computer’s for the building were working as they should be, and then later he’d probably head to the training facility. It was good to get to learn more, but he was nowhere near done. Thankfully most people ignored him, and he hoped it would continue as he got into the elevator.
