This really was quickly turning into a death match. Rafael could feel the damage spreading throughout his body from the last attack that this douche had sent out. Damn he was still so fresh to the enhanced combat that so many other seemed to breath as easy as air. Utilizing the acceleration technique backfired and now he had definitely suffered more damage than he had inflicted. Normally this meant that he would have to take on a more defensive manner while reacting, but he had the feeling that such a tactic would work against him when faced with someone such as this. No he'd have to meet his offense with his own and just gamble that he could endure the pain longer than his opponent.
Still the way this guy spoke just pissed him off. It really was like he was facing off against a bully. Well wait in reality that was exactly what was happening. This guy had come here and started to bully the people that called it home and then he had stepped in to protect the kids. Now though this had evolved into something completely different. Rafael didn't want the children to get hurt, but that was no longer the only reason he fought. This guy was a challenge. He knew how to fight and could push him. This was what Rafael lived for! He couldn't suppress the feeling of excitement crawling up his spine as he realized that by fighting this guy he could achieve a new level. He could rise to an even higher summit of power!
Back on his feet now his foe was charging right at him although he didn't seem to rely on his own acceleration technique. This served to only solidify within Rafael that he shouldn't in fact rely on that technique so heavily. He began to take his own advance when suddenly he felt another impact against his chest. "Damn Him!" Rafael could tell form the impact against his solar plexus that it had been a shock-wave sent out at him, but how though was a mystery. He hadn't seen the guy throw a punch or anything similar, but then against when he had attempted to knee him over moments ago it had been stopped with no movement as well. Could this guy produce them without moving his body somehow? If so this was definitely going to get more difficult.
Pushed back briefly Rafael's fangs flared as he gritted against the pain. He could taste the blood filling his mouth from the shock-wave that had just struck his chest. Damn his bones were likely damaged further now and the flesh covering more than likely had suffered greatly. He couldn't back down though standing tall as he prepared to meet the blow coming for him with one heavy blow of his own aimed at the man's chest. As he got within a few feet though Rafael felt something was off only to then feel his feet knocked backwards. He was falling! The man was within range now and his attack was obvious. He couldn't afford to take a hit such as that right now he had to do something even if it was fresh and rather extreme.
The moment that the fist was sent upwards set to impact Rafael's chin the massive feline's reiatsu flared and he executed the first technique outside of shunpo that relied on his reiatsu to produce. Likely a technique that no one other than a Beast-Clan would ever expect and one that few ever even knew of the existence. From the pitch black fur that covered Rafael's chest grew a massive sort of face from the fur. In but an instant the fur grew rushing outwards and slamming into Rafael's foe with strength equal to his own. The head or front of the mass of fur took on the same appearance of Rafael's head itself now attempting to bite down on the foe. The mass extending from Rafael's own chest meant it was far larger than this guy's own. It would be similar to a child fighting off a bear in terms of size.
Catching himself before he hit the ground Rafael kept his eyes on his opponent controlling the fur mentally in repeated attempts to keep the man off balance while hopefully biting down on either his chest or arms with enough force to actually inflict damage again with the size difference on his side as the fangs of the fur like replica were massive. The time to speak wasn't present as he concentrated and kept himself ready for the man to protect himself or attack with his shock-waves again. When he did Rafael would be ready to react planning to do all that he could before he would rely on that ability.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique like many of the other hair based abilities that the beast-clan possess allows the beast in question to use their hair as a type of weapon. The technique begins by focusing reiatsu on a specific area which results in hair rapidly growing from that spot. Instead of taking the shape/form of a weapon the hair in use actually takes on the appearance of the beast's face. The hair can then be used as a long range type of offense by biting down and attacking in other manners. It should be noted that the hair somehow is able to replicate the same vocal sounds as the actual beast meaning that it can roar.
How to use technique: Focus reiatsu throughout the hair while concentrating on the direction desired.
Technique Drawbacks: The hair in use only stays active for two posts after activation. Once the post count has been reached the hair that was grow dies and falls off the body of the beast. The hair has durability linked to the dominate offensive stat of the beast this making it follow the same breaking rules as a zanpakuto. The offensive power of this technique though is linked to the strength of the user.
