The night was pitch black... An inky abyss that seemed to swallow anything and everything that comes into contact in it. This is the world between worlds, Garganta. Deep inside this darkness, a pair of bloodred eyes open, and with them, comes a voice. "My slumber has finally ended has it?" The voice is as deep as the ocean, as cold as space... If anyone could hear it, they would feel completely and utterly alone, weak. Shivers would run down their spine. This being, the Ober-Lord, turned it's god-like gaze onto the three worlds. His three worlds. "How has my little experiment come along?" He asked himself. Looking into the worlds, Ober-Lord saw all that had been in the last 100,000 years, since his last waking moments. He saw the rise and fall of civilizations, the deaths of billions. More importantly, he saw potential. Tuning in to several particular beings, the Ober-Lord decided to have... A little fun.
THE BOARD IS SET. OBER-LORD, A SUPREME BEING FROM THE DISTANT PAST, HAS AWKENED FROM HIS 100,000 YEAR SLUMBER, AND IS IN SEARCH OF... ENTERTAINMENT. THROUGHOUT THE THREE WORLDS, THE WORLD OF THE LIVING, HUECO MUNDO, THE SOUL SOCIETY, THE GAZE OF OBER-LORD TRAVELS. INSIDE, HE FINDS FOU INDIVIDUALS THE SUFFICIENT POTENTIAL TO SATE HIS DESIRE FOR ENTERTAINMENT. REACHING INTO THE DREAMS OF THESE INDIVIDUALS, THE TRIAL BEGINS. GOD HELP THEM ALL.
Sliding into the dreams of these four people, the Ober-Lord steals away their consciousness, taking them into the world between worlds, to the home of the all powerful Ober-Lord. Each will find themselves in a perfectly square room, pure white in color. After a few moments where they get their bearings, a pair of femonic pure red eyes will appear on the wall in front of them, and a voice will rumble from all around that person. "You... You are interesting... For an insect. I think I will have some fun with you for a while. Unfortunately, I tend to break my toys... Ah, I know..." Suddenly each indivudal will be surrounded, consumed, by pure red energy. It is dark, and malevolent, and those who stray towards the side of light andf good, might even become a little sick. Afterwards, they will be changed. new knownledge, power, skills, techniques, will flood their minds and bodies. All of them must fall to their knees in the enormity of the moment. "There... That's better. Now you might even last a while." A brief chuckle of dark humour comes out, and the red eyes fade away. A door appears where they once stood. Those with energy sensory of 50+ may try to sense past it, but all around them they feel enormous amounts of energy, and it blocks whatever is behind the door. The only way to see what's on the other side is to go yourself... "Good luck. Don't die too soon."
((In their post, each participant must include in a spoiler at the end of their post, a new poers and stats they gain with the boost. They are now Class 1 and have the maximum SP for their race (This does not include Training Tier bonus). This INCLUDES any techniques they can aqquire normally. However, this is limited to 10 techniques. Vizards do NOT recieve the powers they would normally achieve, as those powers are gained from the story, and you can't PT them. Additionally, you may change your type to fit with your fully realized character, however these must be types your character could gain naturally, so only those your race can normally achieve, no Leader types. (Treat your character as if they are Rank FOUR for type purposes.))

Jacob had few good dreams, at least by normal people standards. His dreams always featured death, large amounts of it, featured him getting hurt, him being forced to kill people that he trusted, being forced to kill copies of himself, versions of himself where he lived a 'normal life'. By most standards? Those were goddamn nightmares. And yet, Jacob didn't mind them. He sometimes enjoyed them, in fact. But normal, happy dreams for Jacob were rare, and he wasn't so sure about how much he enjoyed them when he did get them.
He was in the middle of disemboweling the girl he had had a crush on when he was 15, in order to feed his mother who was in a particularly bad mood because a Shinigami armed with a bannana had tickled his father to near death. Of course, Jacob didn't recognize this as a dream, since it made perfect sense within dream logic, but he rapidly began to realize that something was wrong as the world around him dissolved into a deep darkness, darkness that for whatever reason his energy sensory couldn't pierce.
And then, suddenly, a square room, perfectly white, likely made of marble, appeared around him. Red eyes opened up in the wall, and Jacob resisted his natural urge to attack them, an urge that only grew as a voice slowly rumbled from the walls around him, calling him an insect, a toy. How dare this entity underestimate him? He swore that he would kill the beast, and as it's reiatsu swept around him, Jacob noted that it was malevolent, but there was an element to it that intrigued him.
Pain. Knowledge. Power. They all flooded his mind and body, forcing him to the ground on his knees as his spirit suddenly was forced to accommodate power like it had never had before. Compared to his power five minutes ago, he was a god. Compared to his tactical skills, he was a Genius. He understood reiatsu like never before, and technique ideas started popping into his mind. For whatever reason, this entity had empowered him. A mistake. Even if Jacob should be grateful, he still couldn't forgive the underestimation.
A door appeared, and Jacob stared at it with his energy sensory. What lay behind the door was obscured by overwhelmingly potent reiatsu, preventing him from doing anything but seeing it for himself. Well, in that case, Jacob certainly wouldn't turn from danger. He confidently strode to the door, and threw it open, a knife sliding into his right hand. He was ready to hurt things.
Resting his head against a palm tree Wycliff could hear the sounds of the ocean. The waves calmly crashed against the shore, a light breeze ruffled the tree leaves. There was a distinct smell of the salt water in the air, stretching out his body the warm sand under him moved and clung to his body. This was the perfect weather for a nap at the beach, the sun was out, but there were a few white clouds out, but that didn't bother him. Even on a mission he found time to relax. Brazil was a wonderful country, even though it was already night time back in the soul society here it was midday, but that wasn't about to stop him from taking a nap.
As he rested his mind took him to a memory of a time long ago, a time when he was alive, a time when he was human. Dreams have the power to be so vivid and in his, he was taken back to the days of him being a fighter for cash. The smell of cigar filled his senses as he was sitting down in a room returning from a fight he had just won. Slowly he unraveled the loose cloth around his knuckles, the cloth that had once been white was now covered in blood and dirt. His left eye was swollen and bused from a hit he took to the face. Yet he was happy, happy that he had just beaten a man half way to the morgue with his bare hands. A soft chuckle escaped from his lips, waiting to see how much he would be paid today.
All this was so real, so vivid, yet it all came crashing down as the cigar smoke filled room he was sitting in dissolved into a clean white room. He snapped out of the trans he was in and came back to reality. He wasn't where he took a nap before, this had to still be a dream..... right? Two red eyes gazed at him and then a voice. It spoke of him being just a play toy to the man. Before he could even do anything some sort of red energy engulfed his entire being with immense pain, he fell to the floor screaming out wanting it to stop, and slowly it did.
As the energy faded away he felt stronger, like he did before he had broken Chūdoku, no not just that he felt even more powerful than before. It made him sick to his stomach, he didn't want to take part in someone's sick and twisted game all he wanted to do was take a nap at the beach. “Yo bro, what's the chance of you letting me just sleep here ?” No response, who ever owned the voice didn't bother responding to him. Letting out a sigh he opened the door just wanting this to be over with so he could sleep in peace.
Kharn doesn't sleep, and he never really has so because of this when he finally laid down to relax in one of the many hiding holes in Hell he felt his eyes start to close, he would have been surprised if he had not fallen asleep in mere seconds. As Kharn awoke, what he felt was moments later he saw the fact that he was no longer in Hell any longer, which caused him to instantly pull out his axe from his back as he looked around wondering what was going on and how he got here in the first place. He was in his own mind before he saw and felt some energy start to surround him, and with a swing of his axe he attempted to make it go away only it didn't as he was brought to his knees in pain.
He felt his muscles start to shred before growing back again at an accelerated rate, before breaking down again and repeating this process for what seemed to be an eternity for Kharn. He felt his head start to split open because of all this new information that was flowing in from an outside source, as he saw images of how to use an axe that Kharn had never even thought of and ways to murder people that made him shutter in fear. Kharn had no idea what was happening to him at this moment, but he knew enough to know that he liked this new power.
Kharne is a monster of a... well. Monster, as he can scarcely be called a man any longer. In his armor he stands over eight feet tall—a monolith of power and strength. This colossal man is covered head to toe in bulky, thick armor that is virtually impenetrable to attack. The armor is the color of blood, and bears the scars of hundreds of battle. None have ever seen Kharne’s face, for the armor itself has become a part of him. Its face is his face, and a formidable face it is. Gleaming emerald eyes glow in the sockets of the suit, and there is a ventilation grill in place of a mouth. Golden skulls adorn the armor as macabre decorations—on the pauldrons on the cuirass, on his knees... everywhere. Mocking and leering at his foes, as if inviting his enemies to join them. Two prongs stick out from his helmet, not unlike the horns of a devil, striking high into the sky, nearly a foot above his head. He wears a number of metal chains all about himself, binding his body as though in some form of vile penance. From these chains, he hangs the skulls of those he has butchered, sending the unfortunate souls to his homeland of Hell.
This axe towers over even most humans, being nearly as tall as it's wielder, and just as deadly. This axe has seen as much blood if not more then the wielder of it, as the cloth that covers the entire shaft of the axe is the color of dried blood and gore. The head of the axe, which is as wide and tall as the torso of a grown man, seems to be three major pieces of a brass colored metal bolted together. The 'edge' of the axe, if you could call it that, looks like someone took all of the teeth out of a dragon or similarly deadly creature, and the used more metal to hold it all together to make a massive block of razor sharp teeth that look like they could rip though tank armor.
As Kharn slowly rose from the place where he stood, he felt that his body was lighter and he could move faster. He flexed his muscles hard, and he could feel the air around him move just from the sheer force of him unleashing his new strength on the world. Kharn looked down at his axe for a moment and gave it a new test swing, it felt as if it was nothing but air. Kharn did not mind the 'power' boost but he did mind being pulled out of Hell and fucked with. He was going to have to figure out what was going on as he started to walk towards the walls and he pressed his hand against it before gently, by his new strength standards, start to push on it to see if it cracked under the weight of Kharn the Immortal.

Yetsuna had finally made it back to her room in the barracks after what felt like one of the longest walks/stumbles of her life and rewarded herself for its completion by literally collapsing onto her bed. The cool sheets felt wonderful against her skin while the pillow felt like the softest thing she had ever put her head on. She laid there for a moment thinking about the nights events, she had just finished the academy and had gone out to celebrate with some friends, all of them drinking a bit more than they should have. "I'm gonna have a killer headache in the morning," was the last thought she had before she felt herself drift off into alcohol induced sleep.
She was a preteen again, returning from a late night date on the edges of Rukongai. The night was slightly cloudy, but she could still see some stars, even make out a few constellations, the wind blew through the nearby forest causing the leaves to rustle, and a she could hear her own footsteps as her bare feet hit the soft ground. Yetsuna was almost home, almost safe, but in this dream, this nightmare, she never gets to make it home. The ground behind her shook and a loud crash accompanied it. Turning around she saw the hollow that had tormented her dreams for many years: Bokold. She turned to run as she always did, as she had when she faced him those many years ago, but to no avail.
The creature attacked her, severing her right leg once more, blood flew through the air, but rather then falling it seemed to catch onto something. The nightmare around her disappeared, giving way to a square white room. She wasn't a child anymore, but her full grown self, her leg was back too, she picked herself up off the ground onto all fours, breathing hard, sweating, not even noticing where she was. It took her several moments to regain her composure, she had barely caught her breathe when a pair of red eyes appeared, they looked at her and she looked back as she brought herself back to her full height.
The eyes spoke to her, giving her a feeling of uneasiness, like she was in something far over her head, she barely even noticed the insults the creature gave her. Suddenly she was enveloped in red, her hair and uniform blew freely in the energy that had just engulfed her and just as quickly as it came it was gone. Her legs gave out from under her causing her to fall to her knees yet again, a position she hated, but her mind was too busy to realize she had fallen. She felt like she had just learned all the universes secrets in under a second, but as her mind finished processing the new information she realized it wasn't just knowledge she had been given, but power too. She felt invincible, like she could single highhandedly take on all the denizens of Hueco Mundo and come out without a scratch. The creature before her though, she had a feeling that if she had to fight it, she might be in a bit of trouble.
After the initial rush wore of she finally found herself wondering what she hadn't yet had a chance to, "What's going on her...." she called out, but before she could finish the eyes spoke again, cutting her off and ignoring what she was asking. After they had said their piece the eyes faded away, a door stood where they had once floated. Yetsuna seeing no viable other options cracked her knuckles and went through the door, ready to give her new powers a try.
