Circumstances: Madelyn has been contuining to suffer on the streets of Karakura ignored by all those that can't see her. Unable to control her actions once again she finds herself attacking someone spiritual before getting to know them, this time though it seems she may have attacked something far to hot.

Leaning up against the wall of the alleyway Madelyn felt once again the sorrow surrounding her, it’d been more than a day now since she’d fought against that Hollow. The smaller one that had put up the most challenge, the one that lasted the longest, the one that let her feel something outside of what claimed her constantly, what contained to claim her now. Nothing more than a bleak dark day with gentle showers blessing the earth yet in the eyes of someone plagued by despair, to Madelyn it was just another lay to the Hell she’d been thrown in.

She’d been a normal girl with a happy life, she had family that she loved and people she enjoyed being around. She knew though that such things had been taken from her and something else had been given over to her in exchange. All the possibilities that she’d possessed as a human were gone, while the restraints as a lost soul had been shackled on her. There was nothing she could do now, Keira had been the only positive soul to try and help yet she was so obsessed with her tests that she often disappeared.

There were a few Shinigami that gave her a bit of advice, but she hadn’t seen them again. All she heard ranged from the happiness of others she couldn’t experience anymore to the howls or hunger and pain expelled by the Hollows during the night. The anguish she shared with them not in hunger, but loss. She wasn’t sure why, but she could understand the cries now. They didn’t cry solely from hunger, no so many, almost all of them had lost their identity. Something she couldn’t achieve punished to rot in Karakura as Madelyn the lost girl with no home, no friends, no joy.

Leaning as she was now, Madelyn with her sunken eyes and weary gaze looked at her wrist, bloody and bruised. It was the source of her dread while being the sole breathe of life. Something that whispered to her through feeling, something that changed her body into a weapon. Something that gave her the sensations that she couldn’t muster on her own anymore. She knew so little, remembered barely enough to put pieces together, yet she hated it! She was certain if she didn’t have this thing inside her she could go to the Soul Society, but removing it meant removing her arm.

She felt the constant embrace of exhaustion tighten around her figure further as her vision darkens. It was time to sleep again, it’d been like this since she fought that Hollow. It didn't seem like she could ever get any better just a constant downward twirl of unrest. Just stay out doing her best to ignore everything, fight off the drive to seek out Hollows, fight the need to shred blood. She didn’t want to hurt anyone, she didn’t want to get hurt, but why, why . . . Why?

Ahh the night life, Hoshi could have hated it with ease if he'd not been in his favorite section of Karakura. The shopping district. So many restaurants, so many street vendors, so many things he could try since he not only had money but also a day off! Truth be told he'd actually been present since early this morning going from restaurant to restaurant, with occasional walks to different sections of the city. Like the part, the suburbs, the wealthy section of Karakura, and even the business section. Yet no matter how far he roamed, he always found himself back here. Truly, working for Xcution was the BEST thing that had ever happened to him. . . Even if he constantly caused problems for them. . . On accident. Still, he was off today, and others were tasked with killing hollows and other problem children, so Hoshi was going to continue to relax and enjoy himself.

Then a car went past him and conveniently ran through a puddle. He and a few others around him found themselves soaked through their clothes. Hoshi just stood there for a moment, letting his mind register what exactly had occurred. He was yet again in his silk kimono and this time even had a lovely traditional umbrella that was bright pink with red flower petals and a white tree painted on it. Originally, he thought all he'd need was to avoid the rain from the sky yet here he was soaked to the bone. Because of one asshole who wanted to drive through a puddle. Hoshi continued to stand there for a moment before he exploded in anger at the car that was long gone by this point. "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! DON'T YOU SEE THE REST OF US WALKING HERE!?!? IS IT SO HARD TO JUST SLOW DOWN INSTEAD OF SPRAYING US IN DIRTY WATER!! I'M IN A FUCKING KIMONO FOR GOD'S SAKE! IT'S GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE AS HELL TO PROFESSONALLY CLEAN THIS! SO, HELP ME IF I FIND YOU, I'LL SLASH YOUR TIRES ASSHOLE!!"

Once done with his yelling fit, he grumbled audibly to himself and furiously started walking further down the street. "Fucking hate people like that. Seriously, you'd think in this dark rainy night he'd see me. I'm fucking easy to see since I'm practically in a white kimono! Let alone my incredible umbrella! UGGGGGGHHHH. . . . Least I can get it cleaned. Poor thing did not deserve this. Especially not when I'm heading to another bakery cafe. Now'll they'll think I'm some kind of slob. Damnit!" Hoshi sighed as he continued to walk now starting to get mildly annoyed that his power didn't help him with this problem. It wouldn't survive him turning into a star. . . And he couldn't walk into the bakery cafe like that. Xcution would have his head. Maybe he could stand around for a bit and dry off?

He pulled out his work phone and checked the time. 10:23 PM "Hmm. . . I mean I have time. . . But I don't want to be too late to the cafe. Mmmmm. . . *Sigh* I'll find a dry spot to stand at. . . Preferably away from the street. Hoshi looked around and saw an alleyway a bit down. It wasn't the be all end all, but Hoshi figured that in this part of town, he'd likely be dealing with a hollow at the worst. And that wasn't likely to happen yet as he'd not released any energy nor had heard any hollows. He shrugged and made his way into the alley, a good 10 feet from the street which meant he'd be much harder to be splashed on. Best part? There was a little cover as one building's entrance wrapped around the building. Hoshi sent up a silent prayer to whoever heard it, thanking them for this safe spot.

When he walked over, he immediately shut his umbrella and leaned against the cool bricks. Happy he wasn't in the rain anymore, despite the chill of his kimono still being very noticeable. But then he heard something. Someone was nearby. He could hear them breathing. He rolled his eyes mildly annoyed that out of all the places he could take a moment to rest at, this was the place that had another person nearby. He sighed and opened his umbrella again. He figured he may as well make sure of if he was going to have a fight on his hands or if he was going to be scot free. Karakura was pretty nice but that didn't mean there weren't those without homes or in other unfortunate circumstances. As Hoshi walked into the alley, he cleared his throat and spoke up. "Yo, whoever's here I got a question for you. You just hanging around here because you don't have a home or are ya here because you're going to start a fight with someone? If at all possible, take your fight elsewhere if you are here for that. I rather like the shopping district."

Hoshi stared into the alleyway not seeing anyone at the moment but given the dumpster, trashcans, and other junk around he wasn't going to be surprised if someone "jumped out of nowhere". Hell for all he knew they could have been on the roof. And if they were and they broke his umbrella he'd fucking kill them. He JUST got this umbrella, and it was nice and brightly colored. He wasn't going to be able to get this design or this exact color palate until several months later if that came to pass. Still, he stood "out in the open" as far as an alleyway is concerned. Intent to show himself to the other so that if there was a fight, the two could more or less make it a brawl. God helped him though if this was a spiritual person or like the red head. God he'd literally fucking die if they were a physical powerhouse because he was around too many people atm to really do anything. He could only hope he met someone who wasn't trigger happy, wasn't too much stronger than his gigai, and wasn't here for a fight.

All Madelyn wanted to do right now was sleep, the exhaustion that ran throughout her weary body was just overwhelming right now. It felt right now like she’d been awake longer than she’d ever been before, like a teenager that’d been awake for almost two full days and was ready to just collapse. That’s why when she got that familiar sensation her eyes dilated and she felt a shiver run along her back and goosebumps across her arms. “No, no please not now.” Madelyn spoke aloud in barely more than a whisper as she felt the impulse, the surge as everything rushed to her brain. The adrenaline shoving her exhaustion almost out of her body to the point that she didn’t have any trouble getting right up onto her feet and looked down the alleyway to see that someone was approaching now.

She couldn’t feel his reiatsu signature nor tell whatsoever how strong he may be, in fact the only reason she knew he could see her at all before she even heard him say anything was due to the influence now over her. The kind, but tired and worried girl wasn’t really present now. Adrenaline wasn’t the only thing that had been pumped into her brain. Dopamine just made everything feel so good even when there was nothing to feel good about. A chemical that pushed away all her sorrows, turning even the bleakest of moments into overwhelmingly bright joy.

Normally when this happened she was being attacked by a Hollow and over the last few months that had been how it played out, to the point now that whenever she got this sensation this feeling it was connected to something simple, combat. When she felt like this it meant she had to fight to survive, combat was fun, it made things better. So what was coming into the alleyway and would it let her feel good for long? Madelyn wasn’t sure about any of those specifics, yet all the same she managed to get up from the ground with her eyes already glowing the bright pink of her reiatsu.

"Yo, whoever's here I got a question for you. You just hanging around here because you don't have a home or are ya here because you're going to start a fight with someone? If at all possible, take your fight elsewhere if you are here for that. I rather like the shopping district."

Despite the darkness Hoshi would have no problem seeing Madelyn’s bright pink eye now staring at him. After he’d finished speaking Madelyn couldn’t contain the giggle that escaped from behind her lips. A terrible laugh that seemed to dance off the walls of the alleyway all the way down to Hoshi. “If you want the fun to move away then you can push me all you want.” Madelyn wasting no further time dove head face into the fun that she now wished to be consumed by. Actually running down the alleyway and then jumping into the air so that she could swing her left arm forward with the intention of slipping this man down the middle from head to feet with the blade extending out from her wrist.

Hoshi knew from one glance alone that he'd just gotten himself into a fight. How? Because for all the crazy looking people in Karakura no one, and I do mean NO ONE, had GLOWING pink eyes without there being some kind of spiritual aspect involved. Like even his own body and its black sclera was spiritually involved and it showed in how he looked. Anyone with half a brain cell would know he's spiritual or at least spiritually aware. So here was this small woman, thin, and seemingly not all "there". And her first idea of what to do when asked about her intentions was to try to serial killer giggle at him and then make her way over to him. His reiatsu started to flare a bit as he closed his umbrella and threw it to the side. Poor thing was likely to be burnt to shit anyway. Fuck you for making me do this. Fuck you for making me lose my umbrella. AND FUCK YOU FOR RUINING MY KIMONO PERMANENTLY!

Madelyn while unable to sense what was going to happen would certainly realize very quickly just how bad a choice she'd made when she chose to throw down with Hoshi. Using Movement Mastery and activating his level 4 power Hoshi managed a couple things in damn near rapid succession. Firstly, as Madelyn was falling down towards him Hoshi would damn near move out of her sight only to reappear with a few noticeable changes the most noteworthy being a grip strength that his previous body couldn't have had on its own. Hoshi's newly skeletal hand found itself grabbing her right ankle and attempting to crush it within his grasp. To make matters worse she'd find that it wasn't just intense grip strength that would be a problem but also that she was starting to burn from simply being in contact with him. Worse than that was what she'd see.

Hoshi's left arm, his torso, half his face, and his waist were mid process of rapidly changing into a bright red monster. Swirling mass and energy around him with the sound of steam and water boiling beginning to present itself as she'd realize that the rain wasn't entering Hoshi's star zone. His one good eye was starting to shift as his iris melted away but stared at her all the same. "I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH PEOPLE MAKING ME BURN UP MY KIMONO, YOU'RE DEAD BITCH!" Said kimono was rapidly burning away as he spoke and then Hoshi's body would fade out of sight only to be completely replaced by plasma that seemed like it burnt through his original body with the star zone began to shine brighter and brighter. Yet despite the intense light she'd be able to see through it all the same despite there being a severe red shift in the color of everything within the star zone. Hoshi in the meanwhile would proceed to slam her body into the ground below then using his other skeletal arm double down on his grip of her right leg and begin to spin around.

Once his body had done a full rotation, he'd fling Madelyn into the air but not before slamming her through the edge of the building just to make sure she would feel ye more pain for making him lose his umbrella, his kimono, and inciting damage to the shopping district. Once she was out of his star zone, she'd start to feel rain and cool air on her currently partially burnt body. In no uncertain terms, her entire body would be covered in a burn from simply being too close to Hoshi. She wouldn't have much time to herself however as Hoshi let out an inhuman roar that sounded more akin to an active firestorm and using his newfound strength would jump from the alleyway that was rapidly igniting and beginning to melt up towards herself. With movement mastery active it'd look like a literal red sun was rapidly approaching her. Hoshi as he continued to jump up towards her pulled out and superheated both of his rebars fully intent on cooking her alive if given the chance. "DON'T RUN AWAY BITCH, YOU WANTED THIS FIGHT! YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT!"

{Mod Soul Level 4}Here we get to the stars near the end of their lives. The giants of the universe. These stars are massive and bright as can be. Thus, the same thing occurs for the user and their AoE. The main body of the AoE, the star represented, is now 40 feet in diameter, while its extended AoE for what it heats in the world around it is 30 feet in length. As before however the heat in this extended zone while definitely intense can be ignored if one has superior OS to the user or has a 1 in Heat Tolerance. If an individual does not meet these requirements, they will suffer a first degree burn across the front of their body every 2 posts. Upon entering the Star AoE this requirement increases to a 2 in Heat Tolerance or a 1.2x the user’s OS to ignore. If these are not met the individual will suffer a first degree burn across their entire body. However, if they have a 1 in Heat Tolerance or superior OS but not equal to 1.2x the user’s OS, they will only suffer burns across the front side of their body. These burns occur / grow in severity every 2 posts. Meanwhile for interacting with the core, the user needs a 3 in Heat Tolerance to interact with them or an OS of 1.3x the user’s OS to avoid being burned. For the core specifically, if the individual has 1 -1.14x they act as though they’ve got a single point in Heat Tolerance. While for anything 1.15x - 1.29x the individual acts as though they’ve got a two in Heat Tolerance. For those with a 1 in Heat Tolerance they will start with a second degree burn after coming into contact with the core twice. From there every additional point of contact increases the severity of the burn on the point of contact. If they’ve a 2 in Heat Tolerance, they will gain a first degree burn on their second interaction with the core and then every two subsequent points of contact will increase the burn's severity.


As for the other abilities of the previous level, the Solar Flares, while not cheaper, can now be stacked to 30% in addition the duration is increased to 3 posts. The superheated material can be created for 25 reiatsu while still remaining a 10-foot cube. Double if the user wants to melt or incinerate something on the spot. Meanwhile it costs nothing now to superheat a weapon or item that is being held. It also follows the interaction for coming in contact with the core. Lastly the damage dealt to items is now 75% of the user’s RS and items without a durability stat now last for 4 posts. Lastly if the user pays 75 reiatsu they can immediately sacrifice their item and melt it. Allowing for the melted substance to coat opponents. If this is done the item takes a durability strike if the thread is DP/NDE. If the thread is DE, then the item is destroyed permenantly.


While the initial description of this power has been about how things from the previous levels are changed, we now come to a point where the power at this level gains new abilities. The first is a static and passive effect, the Sun AoE, having become a giant type of star, is now incredibly bright. Bright enough that without something to dampen the light produced that an individual can either find their sight being reduced or at worst becoming completely blind. Obviously, those who are already blind will find this to be a non-issue but to those with sight this quickly becomes a problem. A 2 in Battle Focus or Focused Eye will allow an individual to see through the star AoE without any issues. This also includes those with a 200 in Senses. Those who have only one in either Battle Focus or Focused Eye will find the light hard to see through but can manage to a degree. They can make out objects that are within 10 feet of them but any further is difficult to determine. Superior OS does not aid in this, only senses or the requisite skills.


Moving from the passive light ability we now go to the active ability gained. The user can produce sunspots. These are areas on the sun that are naturally cooler due to gravitational forces that are present on that section of the star. Because of these gravitational forces things are naturally drawn to them. Thus, any ranged attacks or ranged abilities that attempt to pass into or through the AoE are now drawn to the Sunspot. The gravitational pull is equal to the user's RS and should an attack be successfully drawn to the sunspot it will be broken down. This spot lasts for up to 3 posts and costs 150 reiatsu to start and 75 reiatsu per post to maintain. This can be as large as a 5-foot cube and while within this cube the brightness as well as the heat is reduced causing all clashes to require one less in Heat Tolerance, Battle Focus, or Focused Eye. This also reduces the OS needed to prevent being burned by 20%. I.E. At this level to not be burnt in the Star AoE, the individual needs 1.2x the user’s OS. If they are inside a Sunspot, they need only equal or higher OS to ignore being burnt. Or a 1 in Heat Tolerance as opposed to a 2 normally required.


Last but not least the limbs in this form now have a durability of 1.6x the users RS. To use this form costs 300 reiatsu and lasts for 4 posts. Lastly if the user cannot pay the cost, the skeletal form fades away with only the pill remaining. The body from prior is not regained. If the user has HSR, each portion of the skeletal body can be regenerated in their following post. When regenerated in this way the body regains its full durability. This also includes durability damage done to the user's skeletal body that did not destroy the body part in question.

Description: This is a sigil, engraved into the blade of a weapon, or somewhere on it that has a large flat surface on it. This sigil comes in many forms, but they all represent fire, in some way, shape, or form. Be it a figure that resembles the user dancing with a figure of flame, a figure meditating with a circle of fire behind them, or something like the Kanji for fire that glows orange pressed into the metal. The sky is the limit for the user.

Bonuses: This is a modification that can be equip to any weapon from the Kitai Shop. While this weapon is equipped, the user can coat their weapon in flames in whatever manner they deem visually appealing. These flames can launch up to three different fire attacks, with those being a large fireball that explodes, a cone of fire, or a curtain of flames that linger for a post. The IP of the fire is equal to the IP of the Weapon this item is attached to. Each fire attack costs 100 reiatsu.

Drawbacks: Only three Equip items can be attached to any one weapon at a time.

This was certainly not something that Madelyn had experienced up to this point. So far she’d really only been dealing with the average Hollow and some Shinigami. Nothing that really pushed her or could really withstand the basic abilities of her Bakkoto. The occasional was strong enough or persistent enough that it caused her some trouble, but the man that walked into the alleyway couldn’t be confined to such an explanation. One moment she was right there bringing her sword down and could already envision the sight of its edge biting through the top of his skull. The next he was just gone and in his place there was nothing, but a red tint to the alleyway’s end.

Perhaps if she had been trained by Kiera or had more time to experience and learn about combat than Madelyn would have been prepared. As it was though the moment that Hoshi managed to grab hold of her ankle and squeeze the damage was already done. Snapping her small ankle was child's play for someone with his strength. Madelyn felt the pain surge throughout her body and yet only a smile was given in response as the euphoria of dopamine flooded her brain to keep her going. Immediately as Hoshi pulled and his body transformed, so did Madelyn’s. The Bakkoto sent its influence throughout her body to its utmost limit, acknowledging that its host was actually in serious danger now.

The burns that her body was suffering continued and yet the durability of her flesh gave her resistance if even a little compared to the overwhelming difference in raw power between the two spiritual entities. Madelyn’s clothing would one moment be there and the next gone as the black armor manifested from her reiatsu onto sections of her body and yet the disappearance was only complete due to the burning heat of this foe. It wasn’t just burning her skin and armor, but the remaining clothing would disintegrate as easily as paper in an open flame. The first chance Madelyn had to really make a counter came just as Hoshi got his second hand on her other ankle.

Pulling her around would give her just a moment to swing her left arm downward with the intention to slash one of his legs. She knew she’d extended her forearm blade long enough now the only question was whether or not it could cut into this interesting monster. “Hehehe more faster, faster!” Madelyn screamed in delight while Hoshi twirled around with her before throwing her up at the edge of the alleyway. She had some experience fighting and getting hurt now, but she was not exceptionally agile or used to being thrown and thus Madelyn felt the top of her back slam into the side of the alleyway only to break through the edge and land on the rooftop a moment later.

Coughing blood up from her lungs Madelyn’s pink demented eyes remained wide open as his mouth contoured from a wide smile into almost something of confusion. How a smile could make such an expression one could only know in the moment and yet Madelyn had one flowing throughout her mind. “How can he hurt me so easily?” Her body was strong like this. The Shinigami and Hollows couldn’t hurt her like this even with their swords and claws so how could this guy? A question with no current answer though as Hoshi made himself known to her again by jumping up high above the alleyway and now Madelyn could see weapons in his hands.

A dainty, underfed, frail girl that’s what the average person would think when seeing Madelyn and the figure she possessed and yet despite all of that, despite the damage and pain that now infested her body, she stood back up after only a brief moment to think. Getting up didn’t take any real effort as she could handle the pain and the pleasure and excitement just made it so much easier anyway. What she noticed though was her left ankle was crushed and couldn’t support her body meaning she couldn’t rush in like normal. She had to attack, had to fight him with what she viewed as the most beautiful part of herself.

That's why as Hoshi falls down to the rooftop with every intent of beating the hell out of the young soul, Madelyn’s hair would shift. Hardening while changing its shape into something no beautician could mimic. Both sides of her hair twirled around while meshing together and then in a rush up formed into two tendrils. Barbed rope like extensions that moved up at Hoshi like the long stingers of an animal. At the same time though Madelyn focused on her bangs hardening them enough that they spiked up as if she’d put glue in her hair. Then just like that the small section of her hair fired off from her head like bullets. Although they didn’t have much power they were fast enough to reach Hoshi right away before even her tendrils which would now be the follow up with the intention to thrust through this man’s torso.

[Hoshi]

This bitch was certified, grade A, crazy. And not the kind of "Crazy Hot but also Mentally Crazy" scaling that people on the internet seemed to believe in. This one was just fucking not normal by any stretch. As Hoshi got a better look at her and saw the sword spawning from her flesh that only dialed up the crazy by a large factor. Which admittedly, shouldn't be that strange since he literally changed into a sun so a sword or other weapons by that logic shouldn't be that crazy but damnit if Hoshi wasn't concerned on multiple levels. Thankfully though Hoshi seemed to actually be inflicting some measure of harm on her. She'd needed to use something to shift her form into some kind of pseudo armor and was starting to warp more of her body sans the arm. Hell, the fact she was bleeding from her mouth was a good point to note. But this bitch was durable. Moreso than he was expecting which meant that she had to be a spiritual being and not wholly physical. Fabulous. Were it not for her weird as body warping, I'd think she's a shinigami. Yet she has no zanpakuto to speak of. . . fucking what's next her hair can attack?



It was at that moment that Madelyn's hair did in fact begin to warp in on itself and change somewhat. Hoshi could feel his reiatsu spike again due to anger. He had been joking earlier, now he was just pissed off. He let himself fall down onto the building's rooftop. Not thrilled at the prospect of damaging yet more of the marketplace but she wasn't complying with leaving it the fuck alone and so he'd have to figure out how to force her to leave. Still, she'd have to do better than her hair to actually harm Hoshi. Granted her hit on his left leg did land true but it didn't seem to have any apparent harm to it. She'd smacked it and landed a blow, but its form was unchanged, and he could still use it all he wanted. To which he had a great deal of ideas about how to use them, such as stomping her fucking skull out until she was unconscious.



Still in the meantime he'd have to deal with her hair and that would have been an issue. . . were it an issue. As Hoshi saw the hair coming for him, he simply created a sunspot in front of him. About 3 feet out. Her tendrils as well as the needles would suddenly shift trajectory and enter into the sunspot only to be crushed and torn to shreds. The tendrils of hair would more or less be roughly cut off and sort of available for use. They'd be drawn towards and again crushed in the sunspot if they tried to harm Hoshi. If she tried to return the main mass of hair, it'd be difficult to do so as the gravitational pull was continuing to draw them in which if there was a limit to its range, would eventually start to drag Madelyn to Hoshi directly. In the meantime, Hoshi landed on the building and started running towards Madelyn still moving more than fast enough to be difficult to see. Yet she would feel him more than anything as heat continued to increase the closer, he was, and the very same heat would continue to burn her further for simply being near him.



Hoshi once he was closer to Madelyn, within melee range would throw his left rebar horizontally towards her right abdomen. Possibly hitting her side but more likely to miss if she stood still and let it pass her. Meanwhile Hoshi's right rebar would be two handed and be swung down in an attempt to slam into her left shoulder. If it hit, her shoulder would almost certainly be burnt on contact given it was nearly as red as Hoshi was and that was nothing to say about the blue flames that outlined it. If Madelyn tried to backstep it however Hoshi would let out a small blast of fire that would trail the ground and create a curtain behind her to make sure she would still find herself somewhat charred. Regardless of what she did Hoshi would follow up with a shoulder charge into her body in an attempt to tackle her into the building and then promptly superheat the building so she would be surrounded and effectively engulfed in slag. She could be crazy all she wanted but she would start breaking at some point. And Hoshi was hell bound to make sure that fucking smile and batshit attitude was beaten out of her before he had to go to the next stage. Shizuka help him, if she prolonged this, he'd make sure she was NOT coming out of this unscathed. Nor would the marketplace if that happened.

[Madelyn Fūrinji]

Despite all the adrenaline pumping throughout her body Madelyn could tell when her blade made contact against Hoshi’s left leg that the she of her sword hadn’t been enough to actually cause any sort of trouble. Not only was she still being thrown around, but the position of her opponent didn’t change nor did he make any sort of sound. This bit of knowledge just fed more into what she was expending now. Someone that actually made her push what this thing could do with her body.

Standing on the rooftop though she hadn’t really expected the flaming skeleton to drop down and meet her on even ground, but critical thinking while still possible wasn’t her strongest aspect right now. No, that would be the unbridled aggression and pleasure. Attacking him from a distance this time by manipulating, shaping and growing her hair ultimately turned out to be a waste of time. Madelyn saw what looked like a small sun in between them suddenly and then felt the hair tendrils get pulled in then ripped apart. Everything she’d just sent his way was handled by something so small.

The distance between them wasn’t vast as the rooftop was only the size of a typical and that meant when Hoshi rushed in on Madelyn the young soul didn’t have much time to react. Perhaps if she was in her right headspace she would retreat or employ a defensive measure like utilizing her shield. Madelyn though saw the charging skeleton as nothing more than a tool to have fun with, a challenge that was pushing her around unlike anything else had managed to so far. How could she stand down from something that was so fun.

Stepping forward in response Madelyn’s mind worked overtime in order to flow her reiatsu throughout multiple sections of her body all at once. She wanted to literally use everything she had right now on this skeleton and see if it remained standing. That's why she moved her arms down to her side but faced them outwards almost like someone preparing for a hug. Each finger had a section of sharp metal on them, like an extra sharp nail that would grow outwards with enough force to easily pierce through cement.

Madelyn faced forward knowing that this foe was going to either evade or take everything including her nails with no problem. He’d already pushed away the sword in her left forearm, but could he handle her hair without his little sun? Growing and shaping once again this time from the back section of her hair moving forward almost like a bird flapping its wings. Each section would immediately knot together in the blink of an eye forming two large balls of hair that then solidify like the needles, turning into pink and blue flails that swing from both sides inwards positioned to slam into Hoshi.

Hair Flail: Knotting together her hair takes on the shape of a ball then hardens like all the other weapons causing long spikes to burst forth from this ball. The ball is about the same as a basketball while the spikes are six inches from the surface and sharp on all sides. Madelyn can then use her hair like a flail slamming these spiked orbs into targets to inflict not only heavy force, but lethal stab wounds. Values are 800/200 making the movements very slow but powerful. Can reach up to 8 meters in distance. Costs 100 reiatsu (per weapon/per post)

[Hoshi]

Things were going surprisingly well for Hoshi. Too well if he had something to say about it. Her attacks landed but didn't injure him. Or worse yet she tried to bring the proverbial "gun" to a knife fight and found that to be lacking. Just what was this punk thinking she was going to do when Hoshi managed to get directly in front of her? Apparently, something even Hoshi hadn't thought, given he was still about as pissed off as he was physically red. Her hair and her hands turned into yet more weapons. Are you fucking for real?! This bitch is a walking bioweapon! . . . Strangely, not the most unique thing to see. But its fucking strange that it happened twice now. I don't like it. Tch it's fine, shit won't work anyway.

Or at least so Hoshi thought. He hadn't figured that of all the weapons her hair would create, they'd be sizable fucking spiked flails. Hoshi had only just managed to throw his rebar before realizing that he was in between the two. Could he have avoided them? Absolutely. Boost was still active. Yet nothing had prepared Hoshi for the surprise factor of massive, spiked orbs coming his way and thus he faltered. And that falter caused him to be slammed on either side. His torse crushing inwards and getting dangerously close to his pill. Yet after a point his plasma body refused to budge. And worse yet, the flails were in direct contact and were subsequently being burnt to hell and back. As far as Madelyn would see is Hoshi's skeletal expression of surprise. Then his mid-section collapsing with cracks spreading throughout his form. Then afterwards immediately start to smoke and if they were metallic, begin to glow red. But that wasn't what would be the most impactful part of this entire affair.



Hoshi's skull after being slammed showed no pain. And his shocked expression quickly changed from surprise to anger to fury, and then to hate. Then the strangest thing would happen, the heat would feel like it was gone and distant replaced by a chill that could only be described as otherworldly. Her view of Hoshi for just a moment would change into a more typical specter that damn near everyone knew of. Death. The plasma replaced by black miasma cloak with a constant ripple and flow throughout. The skeletal form now whitened to pure white sun-bleached bone. His skull which was previously showing his hatred was now emotionless, empty, hollow. And then before the entire affair was over it simply smiled. Malignant, woefully evil, and with what looked like the blacked and charred bones of others starting to crawl out of his eye sockets and jaw. Then just as quickly as it appeared, it was gone, and Hoshi's red shifted and superheated world was back. Reminding Madelyn that she was burning quite literally all the while.

Then without any tells she'd feel it. A flash of searing pain with an intense heat that was eerily similar to the intense heat from Hoshi himself. If she looked down, she'd see a flaming superheated rebar finding itself impale through her stomach. Then she'd hear Hoshi scream out and slam both of his fractured arms into the spheres and shatter or otherwise destroy them. "YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD!!!" Hoshi would then disappear only to reappear before her and rip out his rebar from her stomach with his left hand, while his right foot slammed into her chest to force her through the remainder of the rebar. She'd undoubtably be pushed back yet find Hoshi immediately on her again.

Using his left foot this time he'd slam it on her right if she wasn't quick enough to get away, likely shattering and burning away at it upon contact. Then if successful, would drop his right rebar and reach out to grab her by the throat. "I'm going to make you wish you'd NEVER crawled out of that fucking hole you came from. NO ONE FUCKS UP THE MARKETPLACE, LET ALONE ATTACKS ME AND LIVES TO TALK ABOUT IT!" From there he'd simply throw Madelyn straight up into the air with every ounce of force he could muster. If he was going to follow through with his plan, he NEEDED to be FAR from the marketplace. Just because she was psychotic didn't mean he'd let her prompt him to detonate everything around. Just you fucking wait, when I'm done with you, you'll NEVER cross my path EVER again. And that's if you fucking survive.

[Madelyn Fūrinji]

Standing her ground against what most individuals in the human world would associate as an agent or soldier of Hell itself, she could only smile at the challenge and thrill that pumped throughout her body. Her heart was racing faster than it had in weeks now, this guy was proving that what she’d been up against so far was weak. If she wanted to experience this good feeling all the time, if she wanted to always feel good then she had to find more people like him. She had to find those that she couldn’t possibly beat so that she could constantly try. A pity though that such a thought was more logical in her twisted mind then asking someone new for help.

Madelyn hadn’t expected it despite everything that she’d thrown at this guy so far failing. Up to this point the various weapons she could make from her reiatsu or perhaps her own body proved to be quite overwhelming. Normally a single nail or the blade on her arm was enough to kill a Hollow or cause someone such pain they couldn’t do anything afterwards. She could remember the one woman with long white hair who didn’t back down after being stabbed by her nails and took quite a bit of punishment from her blade. This guy though despite all her nails thrusting at him didn’t back down at all when to Madelyn he should have died right then.

She didn’t even have time to formulate the question inside the depths of her own mind whether or not she was fighting against someone potentially unkillable. She’d unleashed attacks that up to this point had killed or maimed everything, but no matter what she did he seemed to be unfazed. All while she could feel the skin on her body sizzling, burning off almost like it was made of paper. The reinforcement of her body perhaps was the only thing keeping her from turning into dust now that this guy was right on her, but with her mind as crazed by the dopamine and adrenaline as it was, Madelyn just pressed on with pleasure overwriting pain.

That is when through the blurred vision that she still possessed. The compromised view of this guy was hit by her flails. Perhaps the most dangerous or destructive of her hair morphings. The spiked balls managed to not just cause harm, but actually inflict quite a lot of damage based on what she could feel through them and see in front of her. The vision input though was degrading faster and faster now as her face burned along with the rest of her body. Hair and metal both now burning and melting apart Madelyn with no real experience didn’t know how to disconnect or stop the connection as each part burned off her body.

The changes that happened next were so strange and fast that Madelyn didn’t even believe them to be true, to her it was more acceptable that she just saw this guy as a Hollow with a white face than a walking flaming skeleton. Either way though the fact she felt the heat vanish one moment and then it was back again surrounding her. That was nearly enough that Madelyn’s mental state was fractured, only managing to sustain itself by a hair. Madelyn could remain upright, she could continue to stand and fight against what was now something more terrifying than even herself. That moment though only lasted for a few short breaths as Hoshi threw his weapon hard enough that it tore through her stomach like paper. The intense heat funneled directly into her body, heating her blood and flesh to a point that even her Bakkoto had to retreat.

Madelyn despite everything couldn’t continue if her Bakkoto wasn’t able to control her completely and thus for a brief moment her mental state in a sense flinched. The constant torrent of dopamin so off now and although the effects were still rose tinted everything it couldn’t overcome the pain now injected throughout her body. She’d scream out in absolute agony for one moment and then get kicked backwards. Hoshi from this moment onward could do whatever he had planned and yet he’d find no resistance. Madelyn’s mind was broken and shut down in order to protect itself. Whether she was unconscious from the influence of her Bakkoto or the pure abuse her body was taking now though couldn’t be determined at the moment. Beating up an unconscious girl though was the Mod Soul really able to live with his actions afterwards. As for Madelyn her body would quickly revert back with all metal disappearing as it shrank back to normal in a couple blinks.

[Hoshi]

Hoshi was furious, his anger spiking just as much as the temperature around him was. And even when his rebar found itself inside the little wretch before him, then completely ripped through her, he wasn't satisfied. He wanted her head on a spike, to make her suffer for threatening himself and making him damage the marketplace. He was going to lose so much money from his next paycheck, not because Xcution would take it from him. But because it wouldn't feel right to him to not repay those whose buildings suffered from his interaction with them. As he held onto Madelyn's throat and was in the moment deciding if he'd just snap it or throw her up so he could use his newest level of power on her, he noticed something. Something that almost made him angrier than everything up to this point. She went unconscious. Dead to rights, knocked the fuck out. Grade A, brain checked out and went to lunch, dinner, and bed.

He found himself on reaction throwing her ass into the sky with all his strength, 100% certain that she deserved to find herself vaporized and thus quickly followed after her making sure to keep an eye on the lowest nearby building. Yet again though he found something that bothered him immensely and it was that her body returned to "normal". Albeit without the metallic skin uniform to cover her. She was functionally naked. You're fucking with me. Not ONLY did she knock out, but Shes now unable to fight at ALL?!? Goddamnit! How am I supposed to make her feel my wrath if she's not fucking awake?! He stopped his ascent as he realized this fact. Then realized his form was starting to fade away some. He had to make a decision right now, about how he wanted to handle things. If he picked wrong, he'd either be unsatisfied or he'd let someone unapologetically dangerous loose. And she'd come after him. Or worse yet, the organization. He activated his base power to give himself at least A form to hold onto for the time being. Deeply upset that he wasn't able to completely let out his anger on this bitch.

Then as she started to descend, he took another moment to think about what to do. Let's get the facts straight. She's crazy. Like, VERY crazy. She's a bioweapon without a doubt. And she wants to fight me, and maybe others. She's very clearly spiritual and in body/soul not in her capabilities. Because had she a physical body, it'd be beyond warped by this point. Hell, she handled blows that humans would have died to by this point. So what is she? A soul reaper isn't possible. She has no zanpakuto. She's not a beast-clan. Nor a hollow or arrancar. Again, no zanpakuto AND no mask. So, what the fuck is she? Ughhhhhh!! I don't know! But I can't leave her be and killing her right now won't make up for what she's pulled. . . . Fine. FINE. FINE!! I'm going to drag her sorry ass to the base while she's out cold and take her to R&D and ask them to lock her ass up completely. I should be able to request that much if I can explain why. But so, help me, if she's a shinigami in disguise or worse, an assassin after the organization, I'll kill her. I'll burn her into ash conscious or not! Hoshi groaned loudly, let Madelyn fall past him and humored the idea of letting her drop onto the building. Then thought better of it given it was already showing signs of severe heat damage. So he used movement to move himself to the building's rooftop and lazily held out his arms to catch her. He took some solace in that he was still burning her body, albiet slowly in his current form. Then decided that if he was going to make certain that she couldn't escape or pull some other dumb shit, he took her not swollen / broken ankle and used his full strength to shatter it. He looked at her wrists and thought about shattering those too but eventually decided that it didn't matter. She couldn't run so he'd be able to kill her with ease if she woke up transportation.

He couldn't help himself though and did ONE last act of anger against her. He dropped her onto the ceiling and then kicked her face. Not enough to shatter it but enough to throw her to the edge of the building. It wasn't enough for him. But it curbed just the edges of his flames of anger against her. He hoped she pulled something so he could break her and kill her for real either along the way or at the base. With a deep "breath" he walked over and picked her up by the arms, folding both around his "neck" and keeping his hands on her wrists. Just in case she woke up and tried something. Her form was starting to burn again, and he rolled his eyes as she'd be pretty fucked up by the time they got to the closest base entrance. Using movement in succession he jumped from building to a building top a block or two over and continued this until he came to their southernmost entrance. When the guards looked at him with concern and fear he simply told them. "Contact R&D. We've a new prisoner for them. I want them to lock her up in a high security section and start determining what she is. Make sure they tell me where to go."
