Buzzing Bee Comes Across Proud Panther

[Rafael]

Moving throughout the hill area that he hadn't seen in what had to be at least a month or perhaps more he wasn't quite sure the massive ebony panther reached the top of the grassy green slope that he had been ascending for the last few moments. This was the area he was sure of it. He had been here while he had been wondering throughout the wilderness in excitement looking for the great beauty that this new world had to offer him. It had been the area where he had come across the first of the massive brown insects that had nearly killed him. It was the area where he had worked alongside the lizard of a nearby lake to kill that insect. That was the reason he was back here now.

Rafael had been able to work alongside his new friends Lolth and Zadora in order to survive an attack against another of the massive brown insects. Although he had suffered similar injuries in both encounters Rafael knew that he was getting stronger. The only problem was that he wasn't strong enough to defeat them by himself or at least without suffering critical damage to his body that caused him more pain than he cared to feel. He wasn't quite sure what was up with these insects, but after seeing the second one he was sure that there had been virtually no difference between them as they were just as strong and fast as the other and looked the same as well.

Rafael had been trying to figure out why they hadn't ever spoken and only attacked him and whoever else was present. He still wasn't quite sure if he was simply over thinking things, but he had left the new home that Lolth, Zadora and him had found only a few days ago in order to track down and speak with the large lizard that had been able to kill the first insect. He had told Lolth and Zadora that he'd be gone for a few days, but that they weren't to worry. Rafael figured that if the lizard would be hostile towards him then he would have never helped him to begin with so there wasn't much to worry about by coming here other than encountering a Shinigami.

He just had to speak with the lizard and find out if he had come across another of these strange insect beasts. If he was able to find that lake and speak to the lizard he might be able to get more information. He was hoping that another of the insects hadn't come back here to find him again, but for some reason he had a feeling that it was quite possible. He had an idea about the insects, but he was hoping that he was wrong. Only time was going to grant him access to such an answer.

As he reached the top of the slope though he gazed out over the area and saw off a short distance away a small grove of trees which triggered his memory. He recalled seeing the same grove prior to reaching to the lake that the lizard called home Rafael assumed. That meant that he was correct and that he was to the north west of the lake. It had taken him the last two days of almost constant movement to reach here so he wasn't really all that sure the distance between the two locations, but he knew that getting back home wasn't going to be something he could do for at least another two days.

"Aaaagghhhhhhh" Her arms swung around as they coiled all around the man's body, wrestling the bug woman off of his body. The man made the mistake in trespassing into a territory that he shouldn't have as he did veered off course. A simple patrol that suddenly turned for the worst as he decided to take a leak off to the side. Big mistake. The man took a "leak" in the worst possible area as he did so on marked territory. A territory that was claimed by the Beastclan member, Lisa Ko. Once a member of Umaroth's pack now turned rogue. The king and queen of the pack were no where to be seen as they went silent. No orders, none seen to take command of the small group of Beastclan members. Shortly after their disappearance, their small system broke. Rank meant nothing. Their so called home meant nothing to her. Without a King or a Queen to take charge, what was the soldiers do? What was she to do? She didn't know. All reasoning that was suppose to be there had vanished. All that was left was unchecked aggression and broken vows. A soldier without a home, a family to protect was just a rogue mercenary. A wild animal.

That was what Lisa turned to when all else fell to the silence of the wilderness. Humans wouldn't come around due to the Naga that was suppose to protect the area. But now, he was no where to be seen. A Kingdom without it's King or Queen was no Kingdom at all. Though the fact of a Kingdom relied heavily on it's people, but in the mindset of a Hornet, the Head was the most important. Without the head, there could no Kingdom, no hive. The sense of this loss caused the Beastclan member to run rampant. Her lost of a Hive only stirred up more unsettling emotions deep inside. Anger. Hate. Rage. Who else was to be blamed but the humans that lingered and came by their home. All she knew was her own instincts. Her instincts and the rage that came with them brewing deep inside.

The Shinigami that came around to investigate the area came to know her anger. What was suppose to be a haven for the beastclan that came there quickly turned into a bloodbath. Torn barks and sullied water and soil, it was very much that of a horrific murder scene. Lisa tore them all apart. A peace between Beastclan and Humans was just simply not possible. The Naga's disappearance stirred much of the tension that most of their kind would feel when their home fell silent. And of course, this was no exception. That was why Lisa fought against the Shinigami now. He was setting his mark on land that was already claimed by the Beastclan. In fact, any creature that came to sully this land was met with extreme hostility. The Shinigami layed his waste on their land, only to quickly be picked up by the Hornet. Both flying in the air as Lisa kept his legs from touching the ground. The two wrestled for control over the scenario, with much of the odds in Lisa's favor. However, fighting in the air with a struggling opponent was something that Lisa wasn't use to.

Most fights were that with Bees or fellow Hornets, not with struggling humans who nearly matched her size. So flying straight and in control was much more difficult than first thought. This caused the two to crash into several tree brushes until they smacked right into a branch that was a bit thicker than the rest. The two plummeted with Lisa hitting the bark of one tree, and the Shinigami's head snapped from landing in the wrong position. Lisa struck the ground with a heavy *thump*. She was dazed, quickly rising back onto her knees. Shapes and images in her eyes were blurred and screwy. Nothing stayed still or remained as a single digit. Instead, everything around her appeared in doubles if not in triplets. All she knew that one of the images didn't match the others. One of them took on a black figure. Much larger than the others, and oddly shaped. It had legs? Four? Eight? Her eyes couldn't focus as quickly as her body did. All she knew that it could be hostile, or possibly more of the Shinigami.

The Hornet took onto her four limbs, keeping the last two lancers raised over her shoulders, veering them towards the black figure. Her inner snappers uncoiled from within her mouth to rattle aggressively towards the black four legged creature. Grinding against each other as her more human mouth hissed loudly with her vibrating wings. The stinger rose, arching upwards as if ready to thrust itself into whatever came close to the girl. All she had to do now was wait for this four legged creature to make a move.

As Rafael moved from the vantage point of the grassy slope down towards the grove of trees that he had recognized from his last experience in this area he could hear the sound of what sound like the grunts of a close combat struggle. He looked around the area now that he was roughly half a mile away from the slope that he had moved away from yet despite hearing it he didn't see a thing. He could hear something else to something that he didn't recognize or really understand. It sounded like something was vibrating or something like that, but in all honesty Rafael was just jumping to a assumption not knowing for sure he was even hearing whatever this was correctly.

All around him all he was was the grass that barely came up passed his ankles with the exception of the tree grove. The sound was dissipating which Rafael knew meant that it was getting further and further away from him. What was this noise though and where was it coming from. "It's not around me. The ground isn't shaking. So it can't be coming from below me. That leaves . . " the thoughts rushed throughout Rafael's mind as he went back to relying as much as he could on his martial arts training from his teacher while he had been a human. Raising his head and turning around Rafael searched for the source of the sound.

It only took an instant for the ebony panther to locate what he now was sure was the source of not only that strange noise that he couldn't quite describe to himself, but also the struggling that he had heard. In the air going off towards the grove of trees from what he could see at this distance was a beast that had what looked like a gold and black body and wings was fighting something else that he couldn't quite make out. Every thought of finding the lizard was immediately abolished from his mind and he took off after the beast knowing that if this was a shinigami that was fighting against it he wouldn't stand by and allow another beast to be harmed without that shinigami receiving his resentment.

It didn't take much for Rafael to catch up and keep up with them, but he wasn't able to do anything about the crashing into the trees and then falling to the ground. It was easy to watch as the human or whatever they choice to call themselves fell from the trees and broke his neck on impact. Rafael checked his body, but could easily see that he was no longer a potential problem. So moving on from the male he approached the beast wishing to know if they were alright.

As he got closer to the beast he could tell based on her body structure a few different things. The first of which was that they were what appeared or at least he assumed to be just that an actual bee. That explained the gold and black coloration of her skin or rather exoskeleton. After that he realized that what he was looking at was another female as he waist was slim while she wasn't very broad along with the details of her face giving away her gender.

Rafael was getting close to her now when she got back onto her feet and just like that Rafael's feet ceased to approach as he made out her stance. Her head was swaying slightly and her vision was seemingly damaged as Rafael could make her eyes out from this short distance. Whatever bee appendages that she possessed that Rafael in all honesty had no clue about besides the potential danger of getting hit by them, got into position and just like that Rafael started to hear the sound of her hissing at him. She wasn't moving upon him which meant that while she more than likely viewed him as a potential threat she wasn't going to engage against him at the moment.

"I am no threat to you. I came to see if you needed help. Are you alright?"

The black figure uttered words. The same words in the language of the humans that did her, and her home, harm. Was it with them? The shape of the figure was much different from the others that she came up on. His tone a bit heavier than the average human male, with a hint of something else in it that she couldn't put her finger on. Well, what was to be expected when not having meeting other Beastclan members other than Umaroth and the Nesr. Both she hadn't seen in some time as she suspected was caused by the humans doing. This was the reason behind the Hornet's behavior. The immense anxiety and anger that the girl felt inside could not be caged no longer. What the creature said held no weight with the Hornet as the creature spoke the words of those that she despised. The humans had ruined the Hive, destroyed the very entity that gave her purpose. A soldier without a home to protect was no soldier at all.

Lisa was nothing more than an animal looking for purpose now as she was abandoned. Unlike Rafael, Lisa lacked the experience and time with the humans, and that of being herself. Her intelligence was neither fully developed, nor focused on what evidence was around her. So, in other words... she was stupid. The girl relied heavily on her natural instincts, and they were going frantic like a Bee on honey. They were pretty much useless as they were in a whole new world where the rules were completely different. Like, how different? Well, consider that she has a much larger body, and that she was a bug woman in a world full of crazy shit. So how does it make sense at all?

Either way, what Rafael was dishing out was utter crap at this time. Everyone was an enemy. "Zzzzz... L-liesszzzzz... D---dan...er to Hive. Can not hear...zzzeeeee Hive... Hive iz quiet now zzz." The pair of jagged razor jaws ground against each other. It's screeching only rivaled the vibrating intensity of her wings. "Hoo-mans.... make the quiet.......The noise... gone.. Zilant.... Humanzzzzzzzzz... make the quiet... Black..thing...talk like.... hoo-mannnzzz. Hoo-man. Hoo-man." Each word that came out became more stern, more angered by the results in which the humans have left behind at her home. Lisa's stinger rose from behind her, arching over the bulbous rear that she had.

Her eyes slowly regained their focus. The blurring visions and doubles ceased their numeral occurrences, realigning the antennas and priming them towards the Panther. Lisa wasn't going to have none of the crap that those that aligned themselves with humans had to give. "Black thing with hoo-mansszzz... Black thing....enemy of LLiiizzaaaaaa.. Black thing...... make Hive quiet... Liiizzaaaaaa....angryyy..." she hissed through a gaping mouth.

Rafael stood in the position that he was at now realizing based on what features he could actually see and examine of this female that she wasn't in the right state of mind to be trusted. It seemed that based on the way her eyes were darting around the area and then focusing back on him along with the movement of her appendages that were insect in nature that she was aggressive at the moment. Rafael couldn't tell a ton about her, but his animal instinct was telling him that she was threatening him with her body language and that if he didn't either calm her down or prepare himself for an attack than he was going to be in a ton of pain.

That was when she began to speak and although she was speaking in a broken manner Rafael gave enough attention that while he focused on her words he was able to make out what he thought she was trying to say. It was clear based on the way that she was talking that she hadn't yet developed enough to think at the typical level. That just made things even more complicated. Based on what she said Rafael gathered that she had been a member of a hive which he assumed was similar to a pack. He assumed though that she was part of one much larger than the tiny one that Rafael and his friends had formed simply out of either shared interest or safety. It seemed though that the Shinigami had made the hive go quiet. Rafael had to keep assuming, but he figured that meant that all of her friends and family had been killed. She was calling them humans just like Rafael had only a month or so ago.

Based on what he could view of this Beasts body and the motions that she was going through along with the way that her eyes darted over him Rafael could tell that at any moment she was going to charge him. It was obvious that this female was angry and as she kept speaking she revealed that she believed that Rafael ironically was aligned with the shinigami. So now it was pretty clear what was going to happen and Rafael knowing it himself had to figure out how to show this beast that she was wrong and he wasn't aligned with the enemy of beasts.

Holding up his paws Rafael looked at her while moving slowly towards the body of the now deceased entity that she had been attacking. "Hold on. Not with Human." Rafael spoke loud and slow enough that he hopes she'd be able to understand him especially with him imitating the way that he always heard most beasts speak. He had to keep it simple so a demonstration was his best idea. He'd bend down slightly and pick up the human by his broken neck. "Not ally." Rafael spoke again then punched the deceased corpse in the face. While some would see this as some sort of disrespect Rafael having no love for shinigami didn't care.

A swift jab to the dead corpse of the Shinigami did manage to buy some meager amount of trust from the Hornet, but not enough to really cause the girl to lower her guard. Rather it just kept her from leaving. Though, what more than that was the fact that there was another one much similar to that of her previous hive. Like that of Nesr and Umaroth, yet different from them at the same time. Was this black thing among the beastclan as well as she was? Lisa didn't acknowledge the fact that the possibility of there being others than that of her Hive. Beyond their own borders there wasn't a sure thing that there would be more of their kind. If there were to be more, than it would have been more likely that their group, that the Hive would attract them more to their area. Best it being in an group rather than being alone to meet with new potential members. All for the reason of removing the anxiety of doing so alone.

That anxiety is what the girl was feeling now. Nervous in how to deal with an unknown situation, not when Umaroth wasn't around to help guide. So Lisa was conflicted on how to engage the situation entirely. Should she attack? Should she stand her ground? Run away? Her inner most instincts as an insect told her to fight, as per her duty as a Hive Soldier. Then came the other side of her developing self. When running into another Hive, the group came under attack by a much larger, much stronger foe. To say the least, that they managed to defeat this foe, but with much pain, sweat, and tears. Lisa could still remember when it's grip was around her abdomen. It crushed her midsection without much resistance. It was due to her own mistake in charging in without thinking what allowed her to fall prey to the enemy's clutches. She had to learn from that experience, from that disgraceful display of her abilities. For that reason, Lisa kept herself a bay for the time being, her rear leading her climb up the nearest tree.

All of her nails dug into sturdy bark, looking down at the Panther. Her antennas perked from the shift in air motions in her new found position. The constant fluttering of her wings dropped to a constant buzz. Steadily, cautious as their brief moments of activity was merely meant to thrust herself into the air if required. Thus far from what she can tell of this Beast member was that it didn't have flight capabilities like she did. So, she had an advantage of some kind over the black furred beast. Still, it didn't make it for certain that it would be a victory on her part if she did engage the animal. For now, talking in the same language as the Panther did was the best course of action. "What....thing.. want? Why....izzz.... here..?" she managed to spurt out from her developing tongue. Her eyes remained focus on the black thing as she questioned it, never losing sight of it's movements, or language.

Rafael could see the expression although it was hard to read on this female's face change to just a little bit less aggressive after he had jabbed the face of the now deceased shinigami. He waited wanting to give this girl as much time as she needed to claim down. It didn't seem like she was going to trust him easily as she back tracked her way up a tree that was behind her giving her the high ground against him just in case he should pose a threat against her. Although Rafael knew he wasn't going to attack her it was understandable that this girl wouldn't know that and was being as cautious as possible after just fighting off a shinigami.

She then spoke again and Rafael wasn't really sure if it was because he had just spoken to her or not, but he swore that she was getting better at speaking. "I came to find an old friend. Big lizard in lake around here. Saw you fly off though. Wanted to make sure you ok after dealing with Shinigami. Are you alright now?" Rafael asked her after telling her the basics of why he was once again in this area of the wilderness. He wasn't sure if he should, but he was speaking in the same manner that Zadora and Lolth tended to wanting to make sure that this girl could understand the best way possible. He was in the area looking for Umaroth, but making sure this bee girl was alright took priority over that at least in the grey eyes of the ebony panther.

A friend? Him and Umaroth? The lizard man never once mentioned that of a friend. Not once did the Naga speak of others beyond themselves. No knowledge or that of any hints as their meeting before while Lisa was on the team. No mention of the black thing while on her duty in protecting the Hive. Could it be that the Naga didn't trust Lisa enough with such information? Was there something that she did wrong that made it so that the Naga couldn't tell her? Could it be that she wasn't trusted enough? Was she not worthy? Knowing this only brought anger into the heart of the Hornet. A feeling that was similar to that of the loneliness she felt back at the Hive. Betrayal. That was what she felt deep inside her heart. A storm brewed inside, hate, anger, loneliness, was the race she belonged to just as deceitful as the humans that she fought before? Her two lines of teeth ground against each other as her wings fluttered once again. She was betrayed.

She fought alongside the Hive. Although their time together was short, it was time that meant something to her. A purpose given to Lisa to serve. Now, taken away from her. The humans took it away from her before, and now, it was the Naga. Two times that she ever felt this way, as if her heart and spirit were caught in a adhesive tape again. Just slowly dying, giving way to a burning intensity that flared in recognition of her weakness; to that of her despair. Rage was what came up from it all. "B-betra-yed.... A-lone to f-fight.. Le-ft al-oonee.. Hive silent... T-raitor.. TRAITOR!" Lisa snapped. What she came to experience was something that she had yet to learn to control. Both her bestial and human hormones secreted a rather strong chemical through her body, produced by her smaller brain. It was anger. Growling from the back of her throat, the Hornet snapped off of the tree, taking with her talons the bark that she pinned herself to.

Taking onto her two legs the snapping razor jaws rattled as she gnawed on the edges of pincers. Her arms pulled back, enabling them to run rampant at the trees that surrounded her. Four arms striking a single tree, ramming her thick skull into the base of another, and with the third pair stabbing into a third. Unlike the other two pairs, the third pair were meant to deliver the killing strikes. Unlike the other pairs, they were shaped as pointed lancer tips. Both were sharp javelins meant to stab, not so much for slashing. That job was specifically meant for her two pairs of claws that acted like vice-grips. Lisa snarled, gawked, and hissed. The girl had been betrayed by those who she thought would help guide her in this new world. The fact was she was tossed aside. The hive was quiet again. She couldn't hear the sounds and vibes that came from it, not like before. "Hive is quiet! Hive izz not zzerere any more. Gone. Quiet. KIll. KILL ALL! RRAAGGGKKKKKKK."

Rafael watched the female Beast and her physical displays of emotion just as he had been since first starting the conversation with her. Something that he had just said to her had triggered something within her that he couldn't place. It was easy enough to see based on how she was moving that she wasn't happy. This girl seemed to be ruled by rage. "How can I calm her down?" Rafeal thought as he kept looking up at her yet she began to tear at the tree itself with her body displaying her modest strength for a beast at least.

She began to speak once again in a broken speech that left Rafael to wonder exactly what she was talking about. She kept saying the word hive which he knew most likely meant she had been a part of a pack. Her hive had been silenced and although he had already thought through all of this Rafael was pretty sure now that whatever pack she had been a part of had been attacked most likely by the Shinigami and either broken apart or slaughtered. It would make the most sense for why she was so angry and the words that kept carrying on her voice.

She took off freaking out worse than she had up to this point and began shrieking about how her hive was now quiet and gone. She then said the word that Rafael had been assuming for a while now giving everything he needed to confirm his suspicions. The Beasts that were in her hive he believed had been killed off by Shinigami. As she kept making noise she got louder and louder to the point that Rafael knew no words from him would reach her. He had to command her the only way he figured might work. Inhaling the massive ebony panther released a roar louder than anything else Lisa had more than likely ever heard. It was like a hundred lions roaring in unison as the leaves on the trees shook.

A bestial cry, only one in which their own kind could ever emit. Something settling about it, but at the same time what could be. As frantic as the Hornet was, the cry shook the nerves within the girl. A sudden pause as she darted her posture away from the torn tree bark towards the source. Lisa's focus was more keen on the Panther than every before. Anger worn like a sleeve, exposed and ready to be unleashed, Lisa tempered it before acting on it. The strength that the Panther wielded in that single roar was enough to speak the girl's language. Lisa was a warrior for her previou Hives. Fighting and duty were all that she knew of when it came to the Hive. But the Hive was gone now, so which made her a wandering soldier. A soldier without a home, without rules, and without a cause to rally behind. Except one...

"Black thing strong....Lisa want strong....Lisa kill intruders....Kill humans..." she stomped around her vicinity. Almost seemingly talking to herself, though her words were clearly directed to the Panther. Despite the lack of eye contact, she continued on anyways, "Lisa kill humans... Black thing take Lisa to kill humans.... Kill lotz of humans.... Make humanz ... dead.... For Hive... For HIVE...KILL." Again and again, Lisa continued to repeat herself as her talons sparked with razored edges colliding with the other. She wanted vengeance. What more could be described as she said those words aloud. What more was there for a soldier without a home, then to create a reason for themselves. Lisa was no longer shackled to a single place, so what was there to keep her at bay anymore?

As the massive roar was forced out from Rafael's lungs the leaves of all the trees in the area would visibly shake from the sheer strength of his voice. After a few long moments passed Rafael was finished and now starred at the bee gazing from the distance between them at her and seeing that he had gotten her attention not in the typical manner that he was accustomed to, but with the primal method that he had experienced and learned most Beasts tended to utilize. This bee from what he could tell was someone that fought for the good of those that she served with in the same way Rafael would fight to protect Zadora or Lolth. Whoever had been a part of her hive though Rafael couldn't say all he knew was that they were most likely dead and the Shinigami had been the cause of it all.

The realization of it all made his paws converge into fists as his sharp claws dug into the pads of his paws causing the scarlet liquid of life to drip from his black form to the emerald grass that lay beneath him. It was infuriating to know that another pack had been attacked from what he could tell recently and either destroyed or harmed in a major way. From his experience with the shinigami it wasn't a question of whether or not the shinigami were to blame, but how he could help this girl not only get back at them, but help her overcome the pain of lose that in truth Rafael didn't understand. He was the Beast that could heal from virtually any wound to his own knowledge and yet he had never experienced the wounds that this girl had inflicted upon her by the shinigami so how could he help her through them?

As his mind went through possible actions that he could take now to help him get through to her something else moved in the area. Rafael was trying to think of what to say or do that could calm this girl down or at least show her that he wasn't something to bear feared at least something that she shouldn't fear. As his mind as fast as it was went through all of that he took what seemed like a moment to long to realize they were no longer alone. The buzzing bee had come across a Shinigami and dealt with him who now lay at Rafael's feet deceased. He hadn't been alone and now the rest of the scouting party had found them. Standing between the both of them roughly twenty feet away to Rafael's left and Lisa's right was a group of four Shinigami.

It only took a moment for the group to see the shinigami dead at Rafael's feet and decide that both Beasts whether they were both responsible or not would have to be eliminated. Two of the shinigami rushed forward drawing their zanpakuto and jumping up into the air towards Lisa. One of them a small female with cherry red hair seemed to be off her aim as she jumped above where Lisa was located while the other jumped right towards Lisa. The one coming right at her was a large male six feet roughly with a massive build who within a brief moment was right in front of her slashing horizontally at her head with his zanpakuto coming at her face from her left. If she dodged, but went up like many Beasts that had wings did based off instinct then Lisa would feel the sting of the other zanpakuto biting down on her right leg as the cherry head descended down on her.

Shinigami? More Shinigami?! After being brought out of her rage, again came the trigger for it. The beady eyes of her near her forehead could not express what was instilled into them, but those that were plastered on her face could. They turned narrow, closing as they grew to focus on that in which brew the hatred inside her. The wings could not repress her emotions. Blurring into motion, their fluttering vanished into that of a continuous vibrating motion. Their constant motion created the natural buzzing that her race was known to have when flying around. It was here that the Beastclan member gave into it, shedding what was there of human will. All that the girl can see was what she believed her Hive saw; the enemy. Those that brought the silence into her new Hive. They who caused the Hive to become quiet. Lisa didn't care about herself, or the numbers that they had on their side. All that mattered was seeing them become silent.

The girl charged towards the pair that came after her. The strange thing about it all was that the didn't intend to impede their movements, instead, she allowed it. The blade that came down from the rose hair collided into the space between her left shoulder and neck. That gap between the two was sliced into as though it were a cleaver. But, not entirely through as it only hacked about an inch into the Beast girl's tough exoskeleton. Closely observed, it was Lisa's two claws that gripped the girl's armed hand. Both claws dug into the skin of the woman's skin, hooking in as the pair of right arms came in to hold the Shinigami's other arm. Lisa shrieked as she tugged the human girl towards her fighting partner, the six foot man.

Using the girl as a human shield, the man didn't dare to continue his assault as he would run his blade through his friend. That was when the girl took to the offensive. Lifting the girl partially up against the man, Lisa sprung forward to shove the two into the other. The propelling motion forward caused the girl's back to ram into the man's chest after her own legs pushed off the ground. Almost using her legs as a spring board to propel herself. Once off the ground those legs dug into the woman's pelvis, pushing off against her as she did to the floor. Together, the woman's body was jetted with a much larger force than normal, causing her male hunting partner to stumble and topple onto his back. Lisa felt the blade slide directly through the tight slit that was her wound. The Shinigami's grip on it never ceased to be as the girl was thrown into the man, thus causing the wound to become more severe as it's sliding motion deepened the bleeding mess. Lisa hissed from the back of her throat as the shoulder area slowly grew numb.

One of the arms soon grew to become like that of the shoulder, but it didn't matter. The girl only needed just one of them to really do what she had to. Her movement didn't cease once the two humans collided, as they fell over the other the girl pounced over them. Her legs springing on top of the human girl's shoulders, pinning them into that of her male comrade. Before either one could react to their newly added weight, the woman's lips spew the red contains that were suppose to remain inside her body. Twin javelins punctured through the torso, and out through their rear bone marrow. As for the man, a thick stinger found itself digging into his lower appendage. A soft spot within a built physique that was of the Shinigami male. The man had been punctured, digging up further up his intestines and wiggling through them as a whisk in a bowl.

While Lisa was beginning to finish up, what was to be of the black thing she didn't know. When Lisa was facing against two of the human soldiers, Rafael dealt with three. Two women, spellcasters, bringing their hands forward as a burst of wind shot from their open palms. The Hado know as Sho. Combined together, they produced a single wave of kinetic energy while their third companion charged through the blend of forced air. Taking his zanpakutou, the blonde hair male sought to skewer the black Panther through his stomach.

Not wishing to give the Shinigami a moment to attack the female Rafael struggled to fight against his urge to simply ignore the three Shinigami that seemed to be looking at him as their target and attack the others that were going after her. She had just fought a Shinigami and suffered at least a small degree of damage that Rafael had seen caused her at least a headache. If nothing else he was worried that she wouldn't be able to handle more than a single Shinigami at a time when he knew virtually nothing about her and all he'd seen so far was that she wasn't quite strong enough to fight back her basic instincts. He'd have to finish the Shinigami quickly in order to make sure that she was alright he wasn't going to let another Beast die because of the Shinigami.

He could see when the three began to raise their hands that two of them were staying back while the man charged forward with his sword drawn. "They're going to try and lock down my attention solely on him." Rafael had picked up enough about what the Shinigami could do that he knew attacking him at a distance would be easy for the two staying put. He had only seen them do a few different things with their magic, but casting lightning or pushing him from a distance would certainly be enough to aid this man in combat. Rafael stood raising his right arm upwards in a vertical position while his left arm moved downwards in the defensive position all while his legs and feet got into the correct placements to finish his standard stance of Muay Boran.

He watched the man get in close making it look like at any moment Rafael was going to counter him or move to get out of the way, but instead the massive panther who had to look down in order to meet the Shinigami's eyes simply stood still and in the next moment the blade would stab right through his chest. Blood would spray from his chest and out his back as the blade impaled him. Why had he allowed himself to take such a serious injury? Even though the Shinigami had been successful in that moment it would feel almost like the Beast had given up or allowed him to do it. Just like that though Rafael's right arm snapped into motion crossing to the left smashing his elbow into the side of the shinigami's head causing it to spin around killing him in a single hit.

The shinigami that kept to the back would gaze in horror as their comrade who had just a moment ago landed such a mighty blow against the Beast was now looking back at them as blood dripped from his mouth and the light in his eyes faded. His body would tumble over and Rafael would step forward executing Shunpo to appear between both of them before either could effectively aim their magic. Raising his right leg Rafael spun on his left foot in a counter-clockwise manner enabling him to deliver a knee right to the back of the female on his left side while his left hand was motioned further ahead of his knee striking the other Shinigami right in the front of her face delivering enough force that she was sent flying backwards dozens of feet through the air until she'd finally hit the ground unconscious and in serious condition.

Although only a few seconds had passed Rafael looked back towards the trees first noticing that the female bee was doing fairly well against the Shinigami and even though she had sustained a minor degree of damage she was victorious against them all. Beginning to walk towards her so that they could continue speaking and perhaps Rafael would be able to help her with her troubles before trying to resume finding the pond that he had originally been looking for he began to feel light headed. He stumbled slightly only to stay on his feet and recall that the sword of the Shinigami who he had first killed was still inside of his chest just above his stomach. "That would explain it." Gripping the hilt Rafael would yank the blade from his body causing another spray of blood that would go from crimson to suddenly a royal purple almost immediately.

"Killz zem..... Killz zemmm... alll." the Hornet growled from the back of her throat. It resonated with that of her mandibles and razor jaws. The blade dug into her shoulder, breaking the exo-skeleton that made up the surface of most of her body. She hissed and growled with fits of rage, only to bring back to mind those who were responsible for the destruction of her new Hive. Umaroth was gone. Nesr was gone. The newest member to the pack, Ippin, was no where to be seen. The Hive was silent, and the humans were the cause of it all. The humans took from her a place that she could have called a home. They stole from her a home. The humans stole from her a purpose to serve. Looking down at the lifeless bodies of the Shinigamis, Lisa stood there brooding. Her lack of breath didn't come from her injury, or that from the recent fighting, but that of the rage she felt swelling inside her. A rage that she couldn't keep within herself no longer. The Hornet cried out a snarling, resonating shriek.

"Kill all... Killz...all ..humans.... All ....zem..." she shrieked with a blood curdled cry. Her gaze was averted by the presence of Rafael, drawing her attention and rage towards the fellow Beastclan member. Her talons arching, curling as they steadied themselves. The Beastclan member harbored much hate for the human species, those whom she had placed the responsibility of her new home ruined. And seeing how the Panther was capable of handling the humans, he would make himself an asset to the Hornet's newly forged desire. A goal. She would come to destroy them all and what they seek to build with their own existence.

Yanking the zanpakuto from his stomach was something that brought about pain that in truth Rafael hadn't felt in awhile. He hadn't ever been stabbed through his body like just now, but while it caused him extensive damage and sever pain it was fair from the most pain that Rafael had ever experienced. After the blade was pulled from his torso Rafael's blood would almost immediately turn a royal purple along with his eyes and any flesh visible including his tongue. Right away his wound would begin to close and the rush of blood would slow.

Rafael would wince biting down on his lower lip enough to actually draw more royal purple blood that ran down his lip to the fur below his lips. Although he knew that he had to utilize the power that he possessed he had also come to realize the problem with using his power. Although it had proven to heal everything so far and keep him from dying despite all of the damage he had sustained throughout his battles it didn't just heal him it made him experience the pain of each wound as it was heal. Right now it felt like the blade was being pulled through his body and then pushed back again over and over.

Although he was dealing with the pain brought on by his own choice to simply test his healing ability once again by allowing that shinigami to stab him Rafael gave the bee girl his attention. She was going through another fit of rage obviously directed at the shinigami. She spoke as if they had been responsible for the disappearance of her hive. Perhaps this small group had attacked her pack and killed them. Rafael wouldn't put it passed the shinigami to do such a thing.

"Show me hive." Rafael spoke starring at Lisa with his purple pupil-less eyes in a way that would tell her he was requesting to see what had been taken from her by those that had caused her such pain. Rafael was beginning to think there was a chance that this bee if she was here could know the big lizard that had helped him out a few months ago. If she did and she brought him to her hive there was a chance she could lead him right to the person he was searching for right now.
