Thread Title: Tournament of Might: Light against Darkness
Participants: Luke vs Noriko

Location: Each participant has been summoned to a large warehouse measuring two thousand feet squared in the single main room available to the participants. There is very little light due to the structure of the building along with the fact that it seems to be night. Inside of the main room where the participants are allowed to fight there are dozens of 100 foot cargo containers a few feet apart from one another. Other than the containers nothing else is inside of the room.

Luke is summoned on the north side of the warehouse inside one of the containers.

Noriko is summoned on the south side of the warehouse between two of the containers.
Special Conditions: No gravitational Pressure, No exiting of the main room is allowed as a barrier has been set up along the walls of the warehouse that will push back anything that makes contact with it by a force of 300. Barrier can't be broken!
Circumstances: You've both been summoned fight to claim victory and progress onward in the tournament of Might!

OCC: I'll start us off hehee.

It had been some time since she saw the dazzling lights of the human world. Like a sea of blinding aura they filled the dreary black pupils that only seemed to be alive when gazing upon them. Just looking at them made her feel all the more excited about her visit back to the World of the Living. It nearly felt like an eternity since she came around to see what more it had to show to her. She had to admit to herself that she sort of missed the place, despite not having a place within it. But that would soon come to change. Once her strength grew then she would announce her reign over the Hollows. For those who didn't see eye to eye with her, then, they would suffer the same fate as her enemies.

She had been gone for some time. Seeing that the news of the Hollows becoming reigned in by humans was a bit disappointing. How could they have fallen so far from being on top of the food chain, to that of mere servants of the individuals that they hunted. Something must have been going down during her time of slumber. Geez, how pathetic. Beyond that the rest was just sleep. Darkness. Waiting. Recomposing herself for what was to come later on during her uprising to reign in control that Sonken Kouhai seemed to have lost. From what she knew, there were a few Espada remaining on scene of Hueco Mundo, though, not active as they should be. A perfect opportunity for her. Or rather, a better chance in creating something herself.

Is that what you think....... The voices were coming. From the darkness, from beyond the void that she once dwelled within for a time before waking up. Before resuming control. They do not bother her as she is who she is. The twins were consumed entirely. Their memories, their emotions, mindsets, and abilities; all were consumed and overlapped by Noriko. She was finally free to live her life once again. "....hate......despair..." Noriko snickered. She found it amusing how the thoughts echoed so far deep inside only just to poke at her. But reality, they were nothing more than wandering thoughts. Nothing more than fragments that were never meant to be. So, she laughed.

At first she thought she would be bored after some time among the humans. Believing that she'd had seen it all just after a few hours wandering about. Oh how wrong she was. The Arrancar stumbled upon a large gathering of humans who sported the idea of brawls. Open arena fights they called them, so something similar to that of the old gladiator fights. Just when she thought that there was nothing left to entertain her, the thought of stretching out her sleeping muscles would be best before moving onto more engaging adversaries. Her pale lips peeled back to reveal a toothy grin. This was going to be fun.

After a little introduction into the arena fights the Arrancar was immediately cast into her combat zone. A worn out and ill lite warehouse, she could say that she had seen better areas to brawl in. Still, it was better than just a plain battle arena. It was a shame that she wouldn't be able to see the awe struck expressions of the humans once they've seen her strength. A real shame, which meant that she had to use what she had at the moment, meaning that her opponent will have to serve as her entertainment. So, for the time being she kept her reiatsu concealed, pulling back the influence that her Arrancar body emitted.

The cargo containers helped to provide that natural cover, concealing her body from plain sight. Her bare soles marched through the narrow openings between each container, her fingers gliding against the cold steel surface. Through the pulsing lights that flickered on and off Noriko moved silently, lurking, waiting. From a distance she seemed to be just a pale girl with some old fashion, traditional kimonoware. Her tails were retracted, kept beneath her heavy garments for later on. except for a single tail, which it's fur concealed her Zanpakutou. The muscle of that tail coiled around the blade itself, keeping a tight grip around it so it wouldn't move while her tail did. Noriko felt the rush of excitement just as much as her level of anxiousness did. She couldn't wait any longer.

Alright, where was he now? Opening his eyes he was greeted with an unfamiliar darkness rather than an arena like he was expecting to see. "Did we get roofied? Is this some kind of Cambodian organ stealing operation?" Well, Jäger was awake. Running his hand along the wall behind him, Luke could feel the cold metal wall of whatever he was inside of. Travelling the four walls of his containment, Luke came to realize he was in some kind of box. Wait, scratch that. Luke figured out a moment later he was actually inside a shipping container. The hell? He couldn't see shit in here. Finding the door of the container Luke took a step back before slamming his foot into the right side. With his strength being high enough to rip chains apart and from walls, kicking open the crate door certainly wasn't too hard for him.

The heavy piece of metal bounced and skidded across the ground, echoing the best it could throughout the barely lit warehouse. "Way to throw away the element of surprise." Another voice in his head commented as Luke looked to his left and right. "We should be doing this all sneaky peaky like." Jäger commented once again as Luke began to explore his side of the warehouse a little. Well, didn't take him long to realize that he was in a warehouse. So this was how the tournament worked. "Stealth isn't always the option, you know." Windstarke decided to comment to Jäger, as Luke approached the northern most wall.

He could just barely detect the traces of reiatsu along the surface of the wall, and placing his hand against it confirmed what he was sensing. There was a barrier around the building and it was actively repelling Luke as he touched it. "Hmm." Luke murmured to himself, pulling his hand away and looking at it to make sure nothing had happened to his hand. "Looks like they've thought of everything." the Doll commented afterwards. "Slam your dick into it!" Turning around, Luke looked at the maze of shipping containers before his eyes narrowed.

"Someone else is in here." Springflut commented, though Luke and the others had already surmised that. Cept maybe Jäger. Whoever his opponent was had decided to go ahead and annoyingly suppress their reiatsu. Given how Luke didn't hear a sound throughout the warehouse, he came to figure that they weren't put in a crate like he was...or did something like he had. "So, what're we going to do?" Windstarke asked as Luke's eyes drifted from the east side to the west side. "Oh oh, let's play hide and go seek!" Jäger wanted to play the stealth game. "What a retarded idea. Let's just wreck everything." Springflut wanted to go with the brawling option. Windstarke didn't offer an idea.

Resting his hands in the pockets of his sweater, Luke rolled his shoulder as he began making his way over to the mass of cargo containers. I could go through the maze... Luke pondered to himself before frowning and, oddly enough, turning around again and approaching the northern wall. Turning around, Luke decided to lean against the barrier wall. "The hell are you doing?" Springflut decided to ask as Luke closed his eyes. Waiting. It wasn't wise to go strolling through those crates looking for someone who was suppressing their reiatsu. So Luke was going to wait, with his reiatsu unsuppressed, and let his opponent come to him.

"Luke? Why're you so quiet?" The Doll suddenly brought up. As he had been, Luke just remained quiet. I'm focusing on the fight. He decided to answer, opening his eyes up once again and keeping his attention focused on the maze of crates. He didn't have a lot of room between him and the crates. The darkness would certainly work to his advantage. But who was he fighting? Whoever it was was someone smart enough to keep themselves hidden. Even though Luke was excellent at seeing through Stealth thanks to the bastard who trained him, he didn't quite have the Energy Sensory to sense through suppressed reiatsu yet. Ah well. Whoever it was would be revealed once they got close enough. All he had to do was wait.

[Noriko 'Asuka"]

"What the Hell? They're not moving?" It only took but a moment for the Arrancar to notice the lack of activity with the arrival. Their reiatsu was clear as day the more she focused on it; and quite simply it annoyed her. This was suppose to be a fight, a match, a test of strength wasn't it? This was meant to help the woman come back into herself. Keeping her reiatsu hidden was suppose to help bring some action from her so called opponent, and yet it did nothing at all. Thus far all she got from this person was nothing more than a simple sit in. Could be that they may be overweight or lazy? Possibly waiting for her to make the first move? Either way this was boring her to no ends. It wasn't fun at all.

The audience would have a full view as to what would be going on. Despite not being able to see or hear them, there were eyes watching what was transpiring in the warehouse arena. Noriko didn't want to disappoint them, or to be disappointed herself. "Fine then." she grumbled. The lights blurred, flickering off and on as they were meant to, but in all the while that they did, there came further movement. Screeching? Metal against concrete? Oh yes. What was coming to fill the warehouse was a familiar sound of something scraping against floor. Something of a metallic nature. There was no mistaking it, more so when trying to tell the weight of what ever was being dragged. And that was the issue with it altogether, as the scrapping metal became more apparent, so did it being known that it was drawing closer and closer to Luke's position.

Suddenly, it became silent. The humming and buzzing emitted by the bulbs overhead provided the means of comfort away from the silence. Much like what can be described as a horror flick as the victim would await for the inevitable cheesy pop up from the monster, the lack of noise continued onwards. Luke would have already figured which direction it came from, and surely understanding the fact that what ever caused the noise knew where he was. It knew all to well where the man stood as the floor and walls shook violently just the scrapping erupted once more from ahead of the man's position. *CRASH BANG SLAM* What the Hell was coming? If Luke hadn't figured it out just yet, what came for him wasn't that of the cause, but the effect of what occurred to make it so.

Just ahead a single cargo container was thrown, gliding against the floor with pure physical strength towards the man's direction. The metal grounded the floor that it rested on as it was forcibly shoved towards Luke's position. Though, it was wasn't the container that the man would have to concern himself with, it would be that of what it collided with. Like playing with domino pieces, one collided into the other. Reducing the over speed of the container, it was more than sufficient enough to cause the containers ahead of Luke to be pushed by the impacting force. If the man did nothing, then the shipping containers would press him against the barrier wall construct directly behind him.

Noriko had no issue with achieving this. Her physical strength was beyond that of the average Arrancar. While many achieved superior reiatsu strength than she did, they lacked in other departments. With her awakening came with it the hidden potential that the twins themselves couldn't have achieved on their own. Noriko, however, was a different story, and one that she didn't have time to waste on. She was more busy enjoying herself.

Once the container slid, the Arrancar only had to dedicate a single hand to continue pushing the crates. Even being as they are, the weight of a single crate wouldn't have impeded Noriko's strength at all. More so when a pile of them were against her container. This was all too easy for the girl, hoping to see a response from the man as she kept her reiatsu hidden inside. All she could imagine was the fun that was to be had. All the more fun that she will be able to have with the freedom she retains now. Just a bit further.

"Hmm?" Luke muttered to himself when his ears picked up on that sound. An obvious metallic screeching sound filled the warehouse, prompting Luke to push himself off the wall he leaned against and narrow those muddy browns. They're coming. He said to himself and the trio. The screeching of metal wasn't the only sound that was reaching his ears though. Metal on metal was banging itself together and it didn't take a genius to figure out why he was hearing this. Someone decided to use the shipping crates for more than just cover, huh? Didn't really matter, all they were doing was revealing to Luke their general position.

It was then that he saw the crates themselves. Pushing against each other and then pushing other crates, it was like Luke was standing on a pool table and all the balls had just been hit. "Whoever they are they're strong enough to do this without reiatsu! Watch yourself." The Bount's brown eyes darted from the right or the left, not looking at the crates themselves but the spaces between them in case he happened to catch a good enough glimpse of just who his opponent was. But, regardless, Luke did need to do something about these crates. A hundred feet in length made dashing around them difficult enough when they moved like this, but numerous of them? Luke would need Acrobatic talent on Aevus or Marcus's level to pull that off. But his opponent gave him an opening. One he could easily exploit.

Actually there was a few things he could do. He could use Schatten to melt into the shadows at his feet and across the warehouse, simulating Jäger and sneaking about the darkness. "Do it." He could let a container hit him and thus trigger Nebel, making Luke impervious to physical attacks and damage and let him spread out across a large portion of the warehouse. Or Luke could pick the simpler, easier, option that wouldn't cost as much reiatsu. He simply went up. Reiatsu kicked into his legs as he activated Movement, a basic step technique used by those in the Human World, and jumped straight up at 3x his normal speed (900). As he did that, the multitude of crates shoved at him by his opponent would simply meet empty space, before slamming into the northern most wall.

The effects of the barrier would kick in, causing those crates to be blasted backwards at a force of 300. Luke blinked, as he reappeared in the air above the crates standing on airground, as he watched that happen. "The barrier is stronger than we thought." The warehouse had plenty of ceiling space, given that these sort of places were designed to be massive on account of the fact they were used to store a great many product. But what was surprising was the fact Luke couldn't see the end of the warehouse. It was like a never ending cavern with a sea of crates and flickering lights. The hell is with this place? Luke wondered before he turned his attention downwards. "Huh, cool. It's big enough to store Springflut's fat fucking ass!"

"Excu-wait-huh? What the fuck did you just say about me??"

Luke decided to let those two argue as he descended from the air, coming to rest atop one of the now still crates. He frowned, glaring out into the darkness, before rolling his other shoulder. "Just come out already. Sneaking around isn't going to help you win against me anyways." Luke announced with a rather bored and yet annoyed sounding voice. It was true though. Sneaking around wouldn't help his opponent. Even now Luke was picking up on the faint sensations of someone's scent in his nose. He was beginning to even hear the faint sounds of shifting fabric. Those animalistic senses of his had their uses sometime. Whoever he was fighting was close by, and how Luke would act next depended entirely on his opponent's next actions. Because Luke, who had hidden his hands back in his pockets, was holding a small matchbox in his left hand.

So, the guy wasn't willing to do anything else beyond running away and keeping to himself. The foe was close, really close. Their use of reiatsu was the definite blabbermouth in pinpointing where this individual was at, so losing track of them would like losing a Hollow in a human infested street. But that wasn't what got to her, it was the man's audacity to fight in the darkness while the man did nothing but stand around aloof. The sheer arrogance as to what this guy was facing against. And though her ranking was that of a Fraccion, if she were to put in the smallest amount of effort, she could very easily make Espada. Though now the rank itself seemed to be useless, just a title to boast around thinking that they were better. If anything at all, it was a lack of choice among those that remained. Those that came before were much stronger than those who currently hold the name Espada.

"Tch." she snarled behind closed lips. Fine then. Noriko wanted to be entertained but who ever this person was, yet found disappointment in their actions. Whether they be clever or just lazy, it didn't disregard the fact that she was growing tired of the silence that brood over the interior of the Warehouse. Her nails sunk into the thick metal hull of a single cargo container. Digging past the layers of enforced metal through to the other side, the object fit comfortably in her hand. Once more the grinding came. It only came for a brief second as the object's material seemed to have been manipulated. In what way though? In less than a second, Luke would come to realize that the cargo container's elevation had been altered. It wasn't thrown or dragged, but used as a means to beat some sense into him. The Arrancar used the container as a beating stick, and a really big one at that.

The Arrancar could operate without the use of her eyes in the dank darkness of the arena. Her superior sensory in reiatsu tracking did much of the work for her. The flickering eyes, although annoying to the natural eyes, only help to create the sense of time distortion. Flickering rapidly as they have been, a single moment would seem to last forever. For when the crate came into view, it would be unmistakeable to easily misread the distance that it closed in front of the Bount. The entire metal box would come flopping down onto his position that would level the container that he stood on. With her strength, the task was easy. Wielding it like a sword was just as easy. As the man would continued to move, Noriko would continue to play Whack-a-mole with him until the material in her hand become utterly useless; down to the last scrap of metal in her hand.

"You say that sneaking around won't do any good. But at least I am doing something." she said. "Now come, do something to entertain me. I grow bored of this game of cat and mouse." For too long she was kept from being active. Times of facing the Wanderer were perhaps the only excitement she had. Too long she remained cooped within the void. Allowing those twins to take and live the life that was suppose to be her own, now she was being introduced to that bored yet again? Her foe was testing her patience. A concept that the girl didn't have use for any longer. Noriko didn't want to waste time or effort to try and rouse her foe. If it did require it, then she would simply get rid of him altogether, along with the Warehouse.

"So, come out little mouse. Let us live in the moment." Noriko was growing tired of this person. It was only a matter of time before she decided to get serious about a trivial matter in which Luke was forcibly putting her into.

Hmm? Luke mumbled when a new noise suddenly reached his ears. The sound of screeching metal, yet again, was heard though this time it wasn't accompanied by the sound of multiple banging crates. What where they doing now, Luke wondered, as he stared out into the flickering darkness from where he stood. Those browns narrowed themselves a little as he anticipated an attack using the crates once more. But what Noriko had in mind with the crate was far more useful than just throwing them at him. Luke blinked with surprise when he suddenly saw a crate lift itself into the air and lunge at him. Luke didn't actually need the flickering lights to see in this darkness. Sure, it helped, but what made things easy was both his animal like Senses and Anti-Stealth.

Luke was used to fighting in the dark at this point. His fights near always took place at night, so he had adapted and developed decent ability to see in the dark. Whether it was because of his experience from fighting at night, or the fact he was a Bount whom had an affinity for the dark, or because of his animal level Senses, or all of those facts combined, wasn't worth going over. What's more, Luke's training in breaking through Stealth made picking up on Noriko's attack in the dark even easier. Still didn't change the fact that suddenly seeing that shipping crate lift into the air and come at him any less surprising. But this was the opportunity Luke was waiting for, because he could feel Noriko's source reiatsu attached to the crate. His opponent had finally come to him.

Removing his hand from his sweater pocket, there was a object hidden in his left hand. A small, weathered, matchbox was hidden in his closed hand. Luke was waiting for Noriko to get close to him, and she had unknowingly perhaps given Luke the best advantage against her. So when Noriko slammed that crate down, aiming to crush Luke beneath the metallic weight, the Bount acted. "Ziege dich." the Bount murmured quietly, crushing the matchbox beneath his fingers and releasing his Doll. A Doll that Noriko wouldn't be able to sense, nor would even know was released. But Luke did something else as well. He activated another technique. Black Mantle. Luke was swallowed by the shadows around him. They twisted and turned, morphing as if liquid, within an instant to form something similar to a black outfit, with a stylized trench coat worn atop it.

Jäger! Luke mentally ordered as that metal crate came down on him, but before it could crush him the Doll emerged. From Luke's very shadow outfit the Doll emerged, and with the precision of a doctor swiped with both of his clawed hands. Those shadowy talons scratched the surface of the cargo container, causing it to darken and become translucent. Without skipping a beat, Luke leapt forward into the hollow crate just as it came crashing down onto the crate he'd been standing on. Noriko, no doubt, must have believed she'd gotten Luke. From her perspective he didn't move after all. Why would she expect him to have moved into the crate she had been holding? Plus it must have gotten in the way of her version, considering the length and size of the cargo crate.

But, suddenly, the surface that her nails clutched onto became dark and transparent. Her grip on the crate would be lost, but not before she would suddenly see Luke, emerging from the crate, right in front of her, with a shadowy beast emerged from around his back and shoulder. Luke, while inside the crate, had ordered Jäger to slash the crate as they moved forward through it. The Doll had turned the entire shipping crate into a Shadow Object! Noriko had lost her weapon, and Luke would use her shock and surprise against her. His left arm was drawn back, fingers curled into a fist, making it completely obvious Luke was going to punch Noriko. But there was more to it than that. Luke’s left arm was ripped with bulging veins and muscles, as the Black Mantle had peeled itself away from that arm. The veins themselves had illuminated with a streaking red light, and it seemed as if steam was rising from the skin itself.

"Raaaaagghh!" Luke shouted as he threw that punch at her, aiming square for the center of her chest. A crimson colored aura surrounded the edge of Luke's fist. Driving that empowered fist straight into Noriko's chest, the air would explode right before the impact would send the Arrancar flying through the air like a fucking missile. Straight back into that sea of crates, smashing and slamming her around and even straight through one or two before she would inevitably come to a stop. Luke's shoes scuffed against the floor as the Bount landed, the Black Mantle returning to covered the man's sizzling and now weakened arm, as he stared ahead at the path Noriko would have flown through.

"Get fuckin rekt." Jäger suddenly celebrated, emerging once more and spilling himself over Luke's shoulder. Lifting his, trembling, left arm...Luke frowned and narrowed his eyes at his hand. "Well, that was easy. What say we go get some katsudon?" the Doll asked, directing his featureless head to look at Luke. Clenching his weakened fingers together, Luke returned his brown eyed gaze at the wreckage. "This fights not done yet." Luke replied, bringing his left leg back and hiding his left hand within a pocket created by the Black Mantle outfit. "Eh? Wait what now?" Jäger asked, looking at where Luke was looking before quickly melting back into the shadows.

Just what was this woman? Her reiatsu didn't make any sense to him. She felt like a Hollow...and yet didn't at the same time. Plus, when Luke had punched her, he had felt a ridiculous amount of resistance from her body. Both inside and outside it. It was entirely possible...that she might have not been hurt that much by his Impact. It was a branch of the Output ability. Quadruple the impact strength of a single hit. What that meant was Luke had punched Noriko with a Impact Strength of 800. But...now that he was sensing her he was realizing how strong her reiatsu was. What's more, she was able to effortlessly lift and throw those crates as if they were nothing. His opponent...was going to be tough. And he doubted that single hit was going to bring her down.

*Cough....cough A familiar sensation that overwhelmed her chest for the briefest of moments. A pain that could only describe one being alive. She was alive, in this world, taking in it's air, nourishing herself with the ecstasy of life's moments. How good it was to be alive. The Arrancar took on what the Bount had to dish out from the get go. Although it lacked a bit of luster, hiding and not wanting to move until she did, but now things were starting to turn for the better. She didn't mind getting hit. Noriko payed no attention as to whether or not to avoid or block what she seen. It was better this way. For all the tricks and powers that the man may have, it all seemed to be nothing more than a magician's show. Nothing but tricks that mesmerize the eyes and senses. But that was what they were. Tricks. If that was all that the man had in his arsenal, then the fight could go any way. But that wouldn't matter. Noriko was going to have fun with this.

Her fingers felt the shift in weight of the shipping container in her hand. How quickly it fell through her finger tips as it's composition changed drastically. Not that it became lighter, but more to it that was somehow lost to her. It was clearly in contact with her hand, that was no doubt, but the fact that it was starting to fall from where she had gripped it astonished her. What the Hell was going on with it? Then came the trace of reiatsu. A single clump used for something that was for sure. But that was all. She felt the man's presence drawing closer. Her level of sensory made sure that he remained in her scope while he did what he did. However, it didn't make any sense. Was he.. moving through the crate itself? Now how was that possible? Did it have to do with his little trick, or did he manage to open it on his end? Something was definitely fishy with what he had done.

The two and two together scenario popped in immediately once Luke's presence felt ominous. The strange activity that the man was undergoing alerted the Arrancar as to "something was coming." As to what would be done she didn't know. All that was made obvious that the Bount found a means to pass through the shipping container towards her. This left her right arm free to motion without restraint, enough motion to respond to the coming Bount. Suddenly, Luke was right before her, phasing through the blackened shipping container to meet her head on. A trick it was indeed to help him approach her from the cover of whatever he had done to the container. The distance between them was narrow, too narrow to defend herself naturally. The distance was too small to bring her arms or tails around to cover herself unguarded body. All but one decision that came to mind. A response quick enough that didn't require her to use her hands.

Luke's hand pulsed with gathered strength, and as it did so did Noriko's mouth. The pair gathered energy to aid them, but while one did so to make oneself stronger, the other did so to create space. His arm was brought around and struck forward towards the woman's chest, right through the small red sphere that glared between them until struck. A miniature explosion erupted as the small red sphere was struck as the man's fist plowed through it into the woman's chest. (-50 reiatsu) Bala wasn't simply used to attack in rapid motions from a distance, but it could serve as another purpose. In this case, she primarily used it to act as a sort of cushion for the man's oncoming fist. Stopping or fazing him wasn't the point to it, but to quickly form to soften Luke's fist. The force behind it lessened, yet didn't stop the effect of her own body flying backwards into the crowd of containers behind her. That itself wasn't an issue as her Hierro withstood much of the physical impact the crashes, but didn't stop the amount of force the Arrancar felt behind the man's fist. Her instincts were on par with Luke, though, she was just slightly quicker in terms of speed.

What force it was, seeing that it managed to cause the woman to fly back, and coughing out as she did. The blow itself may have cracked her chest bone, leaving it sensitive to move around rapidly for a bit. Noriko felt pain as she lifted herself from the wreckage, but more than pain, she felt a thrill. A thrill she hadn't felt since the time she had with Garret. Now, oh now, she could truly live. From the dust and scraps of metal that were left from her collision, the Arrancar snapped ahead. Taking half of the broken container in hand, the girl flinged the metal shipping compartment ahead towards where the Bount was felt. His reiatsu was for certain ahead where he last stood before sending her flying back. But this time around, she clung to the thrown object. It's massive size shadowed her entire body, keeping out of view. Once the distance between her masked reiatsu and the Bount's reiatsu came close she kicked off. Her legs propelled the object towards the man's position, insuring that it made contact first before the next step.

Once it collided with whatever it did came the red sphere once more. (-50 reiatsu) It formed quickly into a small baseball shaped object before screaming through the as it left her palm to where the man would most likely appear. The more that the man utilized the easier it became to track his movements through the dark. This, and the flaring light that the Bala casted would blur out any shadows to be utilized. This too acted as cover for once the woman came to touch the floor, to once again press onward towards Luke through the dust and darkness. Even if her eyes had to take some time to adjust to the shadows and darkness, her level in Energy Sensory was all that she needed to "see" where he was. This made it all the more easier to mask her reiatsu again upon her approach to bring her fist down on the man with her full 600 physical strength.

"Get fuckin wrecked!" Jäger suddenly celebrated, emerging once more and spilling himself over Luke's shoulder. Lifting his, trembling, left arm...Luke frowned and narrowed his eyes at his hand. "Well, that was easy. What say we go get some katsudon?" the Doll asked, directing his featureless head to look at Luke. Brown eyes narrowed together at his hand. Sizzling and steaming, the skin around his knuckles and fingers had been peeled back to reveal the lower level beneath. It was like he had scrapped the entire back of his fingers and knuckles. A result of what Noriko had done to defend herself."This fights not done yet." Luke replied, bringing his left leg back and hiding his left hand within a pocket created by the Black Mantle outfit. "Eh? Wait what now?" Jäger asked, looking at where Luke was looking before quickly melting back into the shadows.

Just what was this woman? Her reiatsu didn't make any sense to him. She felt like a Hollow...and yet didn't at the same time. Plus, when Luke had punched her, he had felt a ridiculous amount of resistance from her body. Both inside and outside it. It was entirely possible...that she might have not been hurt that much by his Impact. It was a branch of the Output ability. Quadruple the impact strength of a single hit. What that meant was Luke had punched Noriko with a Impact Strength of 800. But...now that he was sensing her he was realizing how strong her reiatsu was. What's more, she was able to effortlessly lift and throw those crates as if they were nothing. His opponent...was going to be tough. And he doubted that single hit was going to bring her down.

When he had threw that punch at her she had summoned some sort of collection of reiatsu to defend her. It exploded on impact when Luke punched it. He was certain that if he had not been using Impact his hand would have been blown off. Because Impact had given him an Impact Strength of 800, his punch was stronger than that attack. That was the only reason Luke still had a hand. "Don't just stand there. Heal the injury." Windstarke demanded, but Luke ignored him. It wasn't out of spite that Luke ignored him. It was because his opponent was already on the move.

Once again she had thrown a crate at him. Seems his opponent was more content with using the environment to fight for them instead of doing it themselves. Narrowing those browns, Luke quickly used Movement. Moving up and backwards at 900 Speed, Luke reappeared standing on airground as the crate came crashing where he had just been. But he wasn't able to get comfortable. Because when he reappeared a red light was birthed into existence. Those brown eyes widened when he realized it and, without hesitation, Luke used another Step Technique. But not Movement. He had a gut feeling that Movement was going to be too slow. Once again Luke vanished as that Bala screamed to life and was fired at him. The supersonic speed bullet nearly collided with his face, but instead only travelled through empty space.

An invisible rail of reiatsu had been created from Luke's feet to the top of another crate. The Bount had travelled along that rail at 7x his normal speed, dodging the Bala just barely. It had been thanks to his Instincts, but the Bount had also begun to sense some reiatsu beginning to form before the crate had struck the ground. Needless to say, Luke had nearly been hit by that attack. But thanks to Schiene the attack had missed. Luke felt a little annoyed he had been forced to use the Bount Step Technique, but his own personal problems would have to wait until later. Because when Luke's feet came to rest on that crate, he suddenly heard Springflute yell in his head. "Behind you!!"

His head snapped behind him to suddenly see his opponent upon him, aiming to bring her fist down upon him. Luke wasn't going to have time to use another Step. But...did he really need to? Noriko had made a big mistake getting so close to Luke. As her fist came down, the moment it touched Luke's back the Bount suddenly exploded. Not into flesh and gore, but into fog. A thick cloud of fog suddenly blasted into Noriko's face, masking her vision even more than the dark already did. From all around her she would feel Luke's reiatsu. In every direction. The Bount had become the very fog that now surrounded her. This technique was called Nebel. When he was hit with physical impact it allowed Luke to break apart into a cloud of fog so thick you would think you were in Silent Hill. But, what's more, was that it made him completely impervious to physical damage.

But this wasn't all that happened. In that moment when he became fog, that moment where it blasted into Noriko's face confusing and shocking her, Jäger made his move. From the darkness at her feet his arm emerged, and with one quick swipe cut into her left leg before melting back into the shadows. Those claws, sharpened with his Reiatsu Strength, wouldn't have any problems slicing through her flesh. But it wasn't a deep wound. Just enough to make her bleed, but not enough to cause any real damage. But that didn't matter. Noriko would suddenly feel her foot and leg up to her knee slip through the container as the portion of her leg that was cut suddenly became a Shadow Object.

Her leg had become darkened and see through, as if it had become a shadow. Trying to touch it would only reveal her hands would pass through it as if it were a spirit. What's more, it felt as if dry ice was being pressed into the skin causing a constant never ending pain. Suddenly a portion of that fog came together and reformed into Luke, above Noriko, with a sword made from the air and reiatsu within his hand. "Hraaaaaagh!!" Luke shouted as he dropped downwards, aiming to let gravity and his strength aid in impaling Noriko from above.

Black smoke, here? At first the girl had the jump on the guy, then the next thing she new it he just puffed into smoke. Did she pop him, making him into dust? With a single punch? Now she was really confused. Though these were her thoughts, the fact of the matter was seeing the man's body break apart into the puff of smoke. First incident was the crate. It's light weight and her hand passing through it was caused by the man. However he managed to do it, there was no other cause for it other than what her opponent may have done to it. Either way, the Arrancar didn't trust what the man had going through that brain of his. All she had to do was brace herself for what was going to hap-... That moment her left leg felt numb. A pair of talons torn up against the back of her left leg, leaving behind the tingling sensation in her flesh. But, this was not just some ordinary numbing sensation around the wound. The numbing sensation grew just as it drew Noriko's attention. And from that perspective she saw it. It was only a moment, but the assailant was seen withdrawing into the shadows.

"This thing... This thing was the one.. who.." Her leg surged with an intense heat that could only come from chilling frost that came from within. Noriko then came to realize, that her leg mimicked the same nature as the crate did from before. Just like the crate, the Arrancar's leg became utterly transparent, fading from the plane in which she resided in. With a leg incapacitated, her body gave into the awkward stance. Dropping to her hands immediately, the woman required the moment to recompose herself. That chance wouldn't have come as Luke came to strike from behind. Noriko, one of the chosen, was hurt. She was harmed by a cowardly being that refused to show itself. Hurt by a man who used tricks in order to deal with her. Disgraceful. Shameful. Noriko was repugnant with what had been done to her. The sword came down, and so did her rage.

From beneath the shrouds of her black kimino, the Hakama, did they spring into action. The full nature of her Arrancar form put to use as a single tail whipped from beneath the shadows of her own attire. A pale white tail sprung forth to cover the blind spot in which the Bount sought to exploit. Little did he understand that the woman didn't require the use of her eyes to locate the man. Despite the smoke that he became, it only took a single moment of reforming himself to truly locate the man's precise position. In that miasma, the woman couldn't tell how she should react, or proceed with the situation. Rather than throwing a tantrum, in response to her injury, she waited for the hunter to come to her. That was all that she needed in order to brush past the bag of tricks that the man had under his belt. This way, it will only require for her to endure a small brief moment of pain to capture him. And for that she was willing to sacrifice a single tail to do so.

Her tails were capable of utilizing the Hierro technique. But against a reiatsu attack, it meant very little. However, it did well to minimize the extent of the woman's injury. Control was the idea in this part as the blade skewered through the tail, enough so the man's arms drew closer to the red stain in the Kyuubi's fur. Enough to draw him closer. Enough for the man to realize that he had been captured. As the man's blade punched through the woman's tail, the remaining eight whipped out from beneath her Hakama as the first had done. Eight surrounding the man's means of escape as the woman endured the sharp sting of the man's wind blade. Together, the eight would come to caress the man's body in their grip, constricting the arms and torso in their tightened 600 strength grip. The punctured tail remained elevated over the woman's backside, keeping him at a safe distance away from Noriko's main body. Just enough space to express her dismay, her rage towards the man.

"Did you really think.... that all of these tricks... would hurt me.... Think AGAIN!" From the depths of the Arrancar's gut was a surge of reiatsu. It swelled, spiraling until the gathered energy whirled from out of the woman's mouth. The combined air and energy screeching against one another released an eery shriek. The two grinding against one another caused the shriek to fill the air as the immense pressure was finally released out in Luke's direction. How so? The woman bent her head backwards as Toorima erupted from Noriko's mouth. It's intense light illuminated the surrounding area around them, erasing the shadows that were within a 5 foot radius of them both. Toorima, once released, portrayed itself as any other Cero. But that wasn't the real question. The real question was if Luke had a means in escaping a point blank Cero fired directly at his torso. (-250 Toorima)

If the man didn't have a plan to escape immediately, then the Bount would know what it will feel like to take on a 600 powered Cero. Even if the man managed to escape, the beam itself could cover a distance of 25 feet. Secondly, being as close as the man would be, the point in which Noriko fired the Cero would cone out as a flashlight would. Even as the man pushed himself back away, the means of its cone effect would only consume the man in its vast light. For if the Bount did not have a means in avoiding Toorima, then the game would come to an early end.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):

A distant cry of agony, mourning, despair, pain... An unholy wail that fills the air that quenches the ears with pain to the point of sending shivers to the spirit. Using the very emotions and turmoil that gave birth to the Hollows, combined with the raw reiatsu that swells inside of the body, a phantasm of a Cero is generated. A Cero that had been developed by the subconscious that dwells within the twins, by Shinzui, mustered by the hoards of souls that have been devoured by the woman throughout the years. Now, their cries of pain and agony cry out while reiatsu is gathered.

As reiatsu is gathered those wailings causes the body to seize up with a short period of paralysis. Only but a few moments if remaining 25 feet away from the user, as for those that are within the radius will fall under a partial paralysis as well as disrupted thoughts, unable to focus the mind. This effect lasts but a single post. Why is this, it is due to the wailing that enter through the ears and through sight of the conjuring reiatsu that storms around the body while the Cero is forming. Although the reiatsu needs to accumulate to create the actual Cero it really doesn't take long at all, simply the same rate as any other Cero would take.

Once charged the technique actives like a regular Cero, but with added force. This Cero can not be activated or summoned to the hands or finger tips, but from within the user's body. This is what causes the reiatsu to wrap around the body before it is released from the mouth, and when released from the depths of the body, a small shockwave is created that pushes those from a 5 foot radius away. During it's release a loud shriek is let out, like that of a young woman crying out slowly to a high pitched scream.



How to use technique (How is it activated?):

Reiatsu is gathered into the body at the cost of 250 reiatsu for each Cero fired, and covers a 35 foot distance before dissipating completely.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)

First off are the limitations, which the Cero can only cover up to a 35 foot range, and for the side effects of the hazing of the mind/paralysis can only take effect within the range of 25 feet. For resistance there are several measures and options that can be used or taken to avoid or resist the technique. Firstly is the possession of Calm Mind, Strength of Will, or Battle Focus. Battle Focus, Calm Mind, or Strength of Will must be at a 2 for those who are at the same class level as the user to resist. For those who are higher class will only require a 1 in any of the stated Skills to resist. Lowers classes must possesses the 3 in any one of the required Skills to resist. This remains the same when the Cero is finally launched for those who are within the 5 feet range of the shockwave. Needless to say that a higher offensive stat is capable of shrugged off the wave without issue, but is those that do not are the ones who better watch out.

Secondly, the technique can be seen coming from nearly a mile away as it is charging with the reiatsu, and when it is released a low but raising cry can be heard. As for drawbacks, this does affect nearby allies whom may be within the radius for the secondary effects, and can be pushed back by the shock wave if their reiatsu strength is not greater than the user's. Following the release, the technique can cause some discomfort to the throat since the reiatsu has to erupt from within the body and come out from the mouth. When used a second time, the throat becomes sore if used within the same post or on the next post. The third will result in a raspy throat, only allowing the technique to be used once more. However, it does not prevent the technique from being used until after the fourth use, which results in loss of their voice for the remainder of the thread to allow sufficient healing.

While this form of Cero possesses other properties that can be proven useful, not all are susceptible to the paralytic effects. Those with a hearing disorder, or are deaf, will be affected it since those muscles are no longer functioning. But with continuous use of the technique throughout the same thread, at least 3 times, will cause a complete loss of their voice for the remainder of the thread.

{OOC}Y'know, when I don't agree with any of my own counter attacks and defensive responses you know something is wrong. Didn't like any of the things I wrote, some of them feeling way too munchkiny, and also noticed it's almost been a month. GG. Good luck in Round 2.

Without a doubt he was very surprised by this turn of events. As he descended from above, intent to drive his blade into her, something unexpected sprang forth from his clothes. Hidden beneath the loose fabric was a tail. ”MOVE!!” Springflut roared within Luke’s mind. Unfortunately for the Doll, his Master wasn’t able to follow that command. His blade did manage to cut through her tail, staining the white fur red, but failed to do anything about the other eight that suddenly sprang to life. Brown eyes widened with surprise as the realization that he had been trapped came to light. Like a cage the tails closed in around him. Like ropes they bound his torso and limbs in a furry, but tight, embrace with the woman’s full physical strength.

”Nnngghk” Luke growled between his teeth, struggling momentarily to try and free himself from the grip of those tails. ”Good job, dumbass.” Springflut cursed within Luke’s mind. No matter how much Luke struggled though, there was no denying that he was trapped. He had disabled Nebel when he went in for what he had assumed was a final blow, after all. Grinding his jaws together, he mentally cursed his bad decision as Noriko began talking to him. She sounded pissed. But Luke didn’t really focus on her attitude or what she was saying because he could feel that sudden, unexpected, surge of reiatsu in her gut.

A growing bubble of power inside her was what he sensed. What’s more, the signature of that reiatsu was unmistakable. In that moment Luke realized what this woman was. But why she looked so human...he didn’t understand. But he couldn’t think about that right now. ”Jäger!” Luke ordered, but didn't realize it was too late. The way he was bound meant that even if Jäger slashed one or two of those tails he wouldn't be able to get away. The size of her Cero would still swallow him up even if he could reactivate Nebel. Jäger couldn't absorb her Cero with his ability, seeing how their Reiatsu Strengths were equal, and the Doll wasn't going to sacrifice himself for Luke. He was caught. And for a second all he saw was light.

Right before he felt the sudden, surprising, sensation of cold water. Nearly swallowing a mouthful of water, Luke surfaced with a cough and a gasp. "Where--" he began to ask, shooting his head back and forth before realizing he was in a water channel. A bridge, with night time traffic, was a few yards away from him. Was this Karakura? How did he...Luke realized what happened really fast. The moderator of the tournament had evicted him because that woman had won. "Good job, dumb fuck." Springflut growled as Luke floated there, before his lips peeled back and he smacked the surface of the water. He had lost. He hated losing. "God fucking damn it..." he swore before beginning to swim his way back to the shore. Just what had that woman been?
