This was possibly the closest she has ever been to another being. There was the human child whom she spoke to for some time and had fun with, but aside from that brief amount of time there wasn't any other. Ippin had been on her own since then, striving for survival. In order to do that, she had to keep herself away from others. Everything and everyone was out to hurt her, or kill her. That was her mind set when encountering other species or races. Hollows were certainly something to be careful around, so the beast girl didn't waste time with interacting with them or wait as to what they would do. This was purely a matter of life or death, especially with the limited amount of resources available too. Ippin didn't have much choice but to rid herself of all sympathy. That included the humans who came to fish at the lake.
Yet, this was different. Only after the fellow beast spared her did she manage to come out of her narrow mind set. More so, his own display of respect to her territory. Ippin found herself both at a loss and curious. Throughout the entire endeavor with him she had to remain cautious despite being a bit interested. In the sense that no one had refrain themselves from hurting her, or quite possibly that she never gave them the chance to do so. Overall, there were those whom she can place some manner of trust in.
Together once again, they traveled. Stories were told about the new home and those that resided in it. Humans thinking of the Naga as some sort of deity, whatever that was. But, what assured her the most was the comment of "others" like themselves there. Much to her own dreary experience, this was some good news at least. Her own issues with keeping hydrated was kept in check by the Naga. Much appreciated to her own glee on the matter, though looking at the containers that were brought with him she knew it would be a long journey. Throughout their travel the Cecaelia kept herself still, sleeping mostly. This form of hibernation reduced the amount of energy she had to use up as her suction cups held her body in place on the Beastclan member's back. Though, this was more for nursing her torn appendage.
For how long they were traveling? How many days did passed since they left the lake? Ippin had cast herself into the darkness that was believed to be her home once again. It's veiled shadows kept herself and that of her family safe. Secured and unseen, her people managed to feed when ever it was time to do so. This dark place was where she was most comfortable. Nestling in that comfort the Cecaelia's muscles tightened on instinct. She felt safe in that darkness. Ippin was hot. Burning. Then came....... chills. Before, Ippin was beginning to have a hard take breathing. Her lungs were suited for both dry land and underwater. Exposure to the dryness of the land wasn't much of an concern as long as she was able to keep her flesh moist. But the burning sensation she felt on her body was.. painful.
It'd been on the constant for now, up until the chill came about. Her body felt refreshed, energized once again. A grumbling stomach was all that stood in her way of being completely normal again, but that wouldn't be much of an issue. A little flutter of eye movement did allow the girl to take in her new scenery. Hmm, possibly not as sparkling as her old one, but there was really no means in measuring the purity of the lake since she had only spent her time in one. More or less, she was happy to be in water once more. Back in the natural element she belongs in. Nestling back into the dark depths of the lake's bottom, she applied the weeds that lied on the floor over her wounds, and looked back at the Naga. Smiling.
