First Time Feline Face Off

[Rafael]

Training for SP.

Rafael moved throughout the grasslands that had began roughly thirty minutes ago. It seemed as if this savanna of grass was endless and would never allow him to leave it. As he continued to move though throughout the sea of grass he caught sight of something moving about fifty feet away from him at approximately his 2 o'clock angle. He didn't have the best track record with running into others that either tolerated others or didn't want him to simply leave them alone.

While he enjoyed finding new places though being by himself was quite boring. It was for this reason that Rafael approached the movement only to quickly feel a tight grip around his heart and a dryness in his throat. What was in front of him only a few feet away was koo that he couldn't really example. He had faced off against foes that nearly killed him and left him for dead. Right now though in front of him causing more anxiety than anything else he had come across looked to be a female with beautiful fur of black and white that for some unknown reason left Rafael breathless.

All he could do now that she was in his sights was stare in what one could only assume as bewilderment. His heart was pounding and his mind was empty all he could think about was her visage that seemed to leave him breathless. What she would do though when she realized he was standing behind her though was the true mystery at the moment. Rafael's throat felt dry as if there wasn't any liquid in it at all and he was going to start coughing uncontrollably at any moment.

[Zadora]

Training for SP.

Zadora could feel the grass brushing up against her fur as she moved through the long grass. She would pass to allow the sun to directly beat down on her fur. Her tail flicking and curling around behind her slowly. She was allowing herself to relax for a moment to take in the sun. She closed her eyes for a brief moment as she took in a deep breath. As she opened her eyes, she looked around taking in her surroundings well trying to stay on guard.

After a few moments, she started to continue her walk. She watched the grass move as a light gust of wind blow through the grass plain. She seemed to pause yet again. Her tail seem to brushed up against something that had heat. She turned her head slightly to the lift to allow herself to glance back for a quick peek of what was behind her. In her quick peek. She could make out a large black mass.

She blinked for the moment unsure of what to do. Biting her lip gently, being careful of her large fangs. Quickly she turned around, backing up slightly. She cocked her head up slightly to look at the massive black mass. She seemed to eyeing him with liquid gold eyes. Her fur bristling slightly along her back as she studied for large black feline-man. With the feline-man in her bubble, she wasn't sure of how to act with the much larger man being so close to her.

Her lip twitched slightly as I'd she was getting f ready to sneer at the feline-man. Her triangular ears pinned back slightly as she watched him. Her fur remained bristled not liking the male so close to her. Her lip rose slightly in a small sneer as she recoiled back a bit more to allow herself to study him more from a distance instead of being so close to him. Slowly she was showing signs o f defense towards the large feline-man. Her hind paws retracted her claws allowing them to big into the gravel under her paws. Her eyes slowly narrowing in a slight glare towards the males direction.

[Rafael]

Standing upwards like a normal human would Rafael starring down at the feline of black and white that was in front of him for whatever reason couldn't bring himself to do anything. He had faced down lethal threats yet while this female was smaller and hadn't even noticed him yet she was putting him in a place where he was more vulnerable than anything else had ever been able too.

He felt like he needed to say something to her so that they could speak, but the words wouldn't come out. His throat felt dry and as he tried to force the words locked in his mind out through his mouth it actually caused him a small amount of pain as his throat fought off his attempt. This was something that the young Beast hadn't experienced throughout his life and as such his mind was at a loss.

It was then that Rafael noticed what he had overlooked about the situation and the feline that was in front of him. Suddenly he felt something brush up against his right shin and instinctual​ looking down he realized that her tail had just made contact with his body and she'd know something was behind her now. While the idea of watching her without her knowing gave him a uneasy and dirty type of feeling the idea of her looking at him made his heart beat so fast it felt like it could explode.

He hadn't done anything and didn't want to do anything beyond simply talking to her. Yet his heart beat raced faster than it ever had in the past as his grip on reality was warped by the anxiety of actually facing this female and speaking to her not to mention how she's react to him standing behind her like he was some sort of stalker. Rafael hadn't ever thought that he would ever think there was something more scary than near death experiences apparently he was wrong.

He could see her react to finding him standing behind her. She looked back quickly to see him, but she didn't actually look at his head instead seeing his mid section around his stomach. She seemed confused for a moment and then when she looked for real she realized what he was and took a step back. It was strange Rafael knew that in this second life he was very tall and very big, but nothing had reacted to him like that until now.

Her ears went backwards and she bared her fangs towards him as she growled while staring into his grey eyes. It was right now that Rafael finally got a clear look at her face and in that moment it was as if everything else didn't matter nor existed. She was simply perfect. He didn't even understand the emotion that was rushing throughout his soul having never experienced anything like this even while human, but he knew this was something different and it was because of her.

Rafael although he hadn't been a beast for long knew what her growling and what her body expressions meant. She was protecting herself and warning him to stay away from her. She didn't know him and he had been behind her so it was only natural to assume that he'd be an enemy or possibly a threat to her. So while he was at a loss for words and had no clue how to actually speak to her, he did know how'd he react to finding someone behind him and just hoped she'd give him more of a chance.

Rafael hadn't ever really interacted with a female before in either of his lives. While he had been a human it was true that he had seen a few different girls he thought were pretty, but he never got the chance to speak to any of them. Not that it mattered this feline had something different to her. He couldn't example it nor did he understand what it was; she just seemed perfect to him.

Not knowing what to really do as his ears moved downwards in a wave of anxiety and negative emotion at the reaction to him. Lifting his right arm up Rafael held it in front of him vertically as he waved to her slightly in embarrassment and nervousness. "H . hi . . me . . Rafael" Normally a somewhat confidence Beast that didn't run away from a battle even to the death was left scared and unable to think simply because of what he saw as true beauty before him.

[Zadora]

She watches him unsure of what to do. Her fur remained raised along her back. Having inspecting him to tell her to leave the area, she had claimed for the moment and she didn't like that he was near her at the moment. She allowed her fur to relax against her back. She didn't want to annoy or anger the larger feline-man with her aggressiveness towards him. She took in a breath to try and relax but finding the action of her rather difficult to do

She looked him over for a brief moment.The feline-man was indeed nice looking but he was in her bubble. She took a few steps back so he was no longer as close as he was to her. She moved her arms over her bust as she folded her arms. She released a growl allowing the sound to rumble in her throat as she watched the male before her. Even though he was well over her height, she continued to show signs of aggression to the feline-man. Her head was still tilted up well she watched him.

Her pupils seem to grow from a small black dot to a much larger dot as they dilated. She couldn't figure out what to do another than be confused which was making her more aggressive towards the unknown feline-man. Ears ever so slightly perked up as he spoke and watched the nervous wave he had given her. She gave a small indication that she was listen to him but remained silent not sure if she should reply to his introduction.

Slowly she pulled her arm from the other to return his wave. As she gave the small wave she was in her thought trying to decide to actually say her name or not. After a few seconds of silence she finally decided to speak up. "Hi.. Zadora.. " She said as she went for small talk. Even as she said her name, she was still unsure of even announcing her name to him but in the end without even thinking about it, she said it. Not being one for talking much to others, let alone a male at that, she would observe the man before her before she would even continue with their conversation.

[Rafael]

Facing off against entities that either wanted to punish him for things that were happening to them for nothing that he had done or even just for self satisfaction not to mention the more recent entities that wnated nothing to do, but segregate him or even worse yet those that wished to kill him for simply being what he now happened to be. All of those things had made Rafael feel emotions that he thought were the worst possible sensations whether they be depression, doubt, dread or even terror for his life none of it caused the type of feeling that was gripped around his heart at the moment.

He had been able to move a small amount choosing for whatever reason absentmindedly to position it vertically and wave as if he knew her or just as a timid, shy welcome. In truth he had no idea what he was doing and although he instinctually knew that this female was beautiful he had no clue how to actually overcome that fact and speak to her. It was her sheer beauty that was causing the lose of words in Rafael. He could see that she still wasn't all that keen on the idea of him being so close to her and although she did the same thing to him stating that her name was Zadora, the large panther knew it would be best to give her some space.

So although he continued to feel that okward sensation the massive panther took a few steps backwards to give the feline felame some space and hopefully she'd stop baring her fangs and giving off signals for him to leave her alone. He didn't know why, but for some reason he just didn't want to take his eyes away from her visage. "So . Zadora . . what you doing in grass?" Rafael asked not sure how to speak to Zadora, but not wanting to leave her so he asked the first thing that came to his mind. All he could hope was that Zadora would continue speaking to him for what reason though he wasn't to sure.

[Zadora]

She wasn't sure of what to do. The feline-man who gave his name but she would still call him The feline-man in her head. She let her glaze run over the man before as he stood before her. With her fur relaxing, she stopped baring her fangs. He probably knew this place more than she. She slightly shifted at her pawed feet, feeling the grass bush against her fur covered legs and the sun beating down on her back helped her relax ever more.

She blinked in slightly surprise as the large feline-man had taken a few steps back from her. Her arms unfolded and fell to her side. Her slightly cocked to the side as she eyed the man before her. With him giving her the space, she let her glaze run over him judging to see if he meant her harm or not. After a few moments her looking over his massive body, she relaxed fully seeing that he meant no harm towards her, maybe he would possible be her friend? He did seem friendly enough to be a possible friend.

Hearing him speak once more brought her out of her thoughts. What was she doing here again? She blinked a few times to try and think. She glanced around for a moment to look at their surrounds. Well this place was sunny and wasn't crowded. It was quiet when she came upon it. She was enjoying the heat and the sun until he had approached her thought she was still enjoying the heat and the sun's raze with him in front of her

"Sunning myself." She said as she turned her attention back to the feline-man Rafael. Her head cocked more to the side as she looked at him. "You?" She asked than looked back around their surrounds for a brief moment before looking back to him. Maybe the man before her was worth having a conversation with. He was the first person she had meet in this place so she let her aggression fade into nothing. Now she was just curious of the man.

[Rafael]

After he had spoken it was clear to Rafael that his words while unclear to himself while he had spoken whatever had come to him first in the hopes that he could actually continue speaking to Zadora it seemed she was becoming less agressive towards him. At least that's how it seemed from her position as she no longer was crossing her arms and her fangs were no longer being displayed in a threatening manner towards him. At the moment it seemed that a conversation was actually going to take place between the two Beasts.

She was quick to actually answer his question telling him that she was in this area covering in tall grass so that she could sun herself in the light of the high sun that sent down such strong heat waves that even at this moment heated the very fur covering both of their bodies. While it was certainly a decent spot to do so Rafael couldn't help, but think about how it'd be much easier to actually do such a relaxing activity without the high grass surrounding her.

It seemed she wished to know the reason for him being in the same area though and Rafael actually had to take a moment before he smiled slightly looking over the area covered in high tan colored grass. "Me on a journey. Want to see everything." Rafael spoke still feeling excited about the idea of wandering throughout the wilderness finding new areas that he had never experieced before. It had been what he decided to do since waking up in this second life and it had been very interesting and joyful so far and he wanted to continue doing it.

The sensation that he was feeling about his goal of seeing everything that the world had to offer was enough to off set the sensations of worry and attraction that he got from this female tiger that was in front of him only a few feet away now. He hadn't realized it until a moment ago after he had finished speaking, but Zadora's arm weren't crossed anymore and now he could visually see the large bust she possessed even if it was covered by some leather. If Rafael didn't have fur then it would be easy to see his face now a bright red as he blushed and averted his eyes from Zadora's bust while he awaited her response.

[Zadora]

She stopped shifting on her pawed feet as she looked at the man. He most likely knew this place better. Maybe she should stick with him for the moment well speaking with him seeing as she assumed was a conversation was forming between the two of them. Her head cocked to the side as she looked back to the grassy plains that surrounded them. She was curious if this man was gonna be her first friend in this place. She would rather have the massive Feline-Man as her friend than an enemy. With her relaxed and not showing any signs of aggression, she gonna work and trying to get this man to be her friend

Hearing him speak brought her attention back to him then blinked. He was on a journey? Why? She wanted to question him on that but she was stuck in her thoughts at the moment. She took in a deep breath pushing aside her wandering thoughts as she eyed him. "Why do you Journey and want to see everything?" She asked as she looked at him. He was a confusing being to her at the moment but she knew he was the first person she had talked to since coming to this place.

As she watched him then blinked in surprise as she turned his glaze from her. She was even more confused with his actions of averted his eyes from her. She took a small step forward towards him well straightening her head. Her round ears twitch ever so slightly on top of her head as she looked at him.

"Is it fun to explore this place?" She questioned as she waiting for him to turn his attention back towards her. She was curious if it was fun or not. The heat of the sun was slowly growing too hot for her which made her wonder about the man before her. The heat most be truly hot for him. Her long tail swayed behind her in lazy back and forth flicks behind her, brushing around in the tall grass.

[Rafael]

Standing in the position that he had been for the last few moments since moving a few feet back to give Zadora some space between them so that she could relax and not worry about her safety the massive pitch black feline was actually starting to feel the heat of the sun more so than he had prior while he had been casually walking throughout the grasslands. His black fur was starting to feel incredible hot and if he didn't find some sort of shade than he was going to start panting and getting even more uncomfortable than he already was while in the presence of Zadora.

He didn't have time to find anything that would produce shade though especially not something big enough in the area that would produce enough shade to cover his body as Zadora was quick to ask him why he was on a journey and why he wished to see everything. When she asked him that Rafael actually stopped thinking about everything else. He would have thought that answering such a question would have been easy and yet the response for a brief moment was beyond his grasp. As he come to the conclusion that made the most sense for him though he smiled happily without thinking and looked out at the grass and the bright sky.

"Everything . . different. Nothing the same. I want to see as much as I can." He was happy at the moment thinking back to all of the areas that he had found over the last few weeks and how many beautiful sights there had been that he was able to experience that he had never gotten close to while he had been a human. Almost everything here was amazing. He had completely forgotten about being embarrassed about being attracted to Zadora's body in that moment and when he looked back and saw that she was closer to him now his reaction went back into that of a nervous inexperienced male.

His large black ears moved backwards as he realized how close Zadora now was and didn't know how to actually speak to her. The only thing that was going for him at the moment that he realized was the height difference between the both of them. He was much taller than her to the point that even now as she stood straight she only reached the middle of his chest. She looked so beautiful as she looked up at him he seemed to get lost in her golden eyes for a moment until she started to speak and he was snapped out of his nervous trance.

Rafael wasn't someone to get pushed around in a fight, but that was something that he had experience at and knew how to handle this right now was something completely different. He didn't even think he was just so unprepared that he took a step back from Zadora out of shy nervousness. He tried to gather himself and speak calmly, but even his gruff deep voice was shaky. "Finding new places is always fun. Something new that you never knew is there or could even be possible. Beautiful places all over. Never boring always exciting if you enjoy nature."

[Zadora]

She rose a pawed hand to shield her eyes from the blazing sun as she looked at him. "You should find some shade soon Rafael." She spoke as she looked at him. Knowing what too much sun could do. She didn't wish for the feline-man before her to faint from the heat. The drew was somewhat cooling but the sun beating down on the grassy plains that she had found herself in wasn't helping. She glanced around looking for a source of shade or even water.

Finding nothing to shade the two of them. Not even one that would cast a shadow big enough for him. Not even big enough for her as well. That only left water. There could be a possibility for there being a river or stream near by somewhere's. She turned her attention back to Rafael watching him smile happily. He must be happy with an answer she had ask about being on a journey.

She watched and listened to him, hearing the change of the tone of his voice. Listening to the happiness in it made her tilt her head to the side blinking. Well his answer seem to spark an interest in her. Seeing different landscapes did interest her. "What have you seen in different places?" She asked. The sound of excitement echoed in her voice as she watched him. Completely unaware that he seemed to be nervous in her presence.

Her golden orbs turned up to look at his ears, watching as they moved backwards when he seem to notice the distance change between the two of them. With her closer to him, she seem to notice the height difference between the two of them. She seem to scowl at the moment, appearing to pout at the different. Shaking her head then looked back up to him. She tried to make herself seem a little taller but failed in the long run. The height different was too large for her to even continue trying.

She blinked as he stepped away from her. This action made her tilt her head even move to the side. Was he nervous? She pushed her thoughts aside as he spoke. "Never boring?" She seemed even more interested in his words. She moved to take a few steps forwards. Feeling conformable in his presences at the moment to be close to him but she was watching him in case his body language change. She eyed him for the moment as she slightly closed the large space between the two of them.

"Have you seen other.."She paused in the middle of her sentence. Her brows furrowed as she straightened her head. Trying to figure out what Rafael and her were. Coming up with none, she looked back towards him."Others like you and me?" She finished as she seemed to look satisfied with her wording at the moment since she didn't even know what she was. She didnt mind not knowing. She liked being like this.. Like a tiger. She smiled to herself for moment as she looked around once more.

[Rafael]

Rafael was lost in reflection on all of the places that he had been able to find over the last few weeks to realize that Zadora seemed to be taking an interest in the idea of journeying throughout the wilderness doing what he had been doing and finding new places to see. It wasn't until she actually spoke again and asked him about the different places that he had come to see that he actually realized she was closer to him again and she had a new look to her eyes. She was obviously excited and while he was nervous around her the fact he could see her excitement made him happy and his nervousness seemed to just vanish.

"I've seen water as far as I could see. Trees as high as the clouds in the sky. Grass almost as tall as me. Nice little places that are peaceful like this. All of it is new and I love all of them. I want to keep finding more." Rafael told Zadora with excitement in his own voice as he looked down at her forgetting for a moment her beauty and just speaking to her as someone that enjoyed and loved nature and everything that it had to offer him.

That was when Zadora asked the question that he had been expecting since actually finding her in the grass. She wanted to know if he had come upon and found other Beasts like the both of them. He could tell based on how she asked him and how she didn't use the term Beast that Zadora hadn't actually met another beast besides him despite her very animalistic defensive manners. She was smiling and that was all Rafael needed to know in order to tell that she was at least from what he could tell happy. "Yes I've seen a few Beasts."

Rafael would wait a moment for Zadora to react to the term that he had just said to define both of them and all others like them. Rafael had learned what they were all called from the Boar that he had met who had stolen his food yet taught him a technique that had saved him already more than once in the short time that he had been alive as a Beast. "Boar, Lizard, Bug those are what I have seen so far. Some nice and others mean." Rafael was really starting to feel the effects of the sun on his fur and knew he'd have to rest soon otherwise he'd faint. So he couldn't put off what he wished to ask Zadora since learning of the mutual interest they shared. "You can come with me if you want Zadora."

[Zadora]

Zadora watched him quietly for his answer. Her head remained cocked to the side displaying her curiosity and looked forward to hear his answer to her question. Well he seemed to be engrossed with his thoughts, She looked between their height difference between the two of them. She scowled once against before pushing aside her slightly dislike of the height difference between them.

She blinked at his sudden words but listened with interest. She seem to bounce on her feet as he told his experience in the wild. Her head straightening her posture. Listening to the excitement in his voice made her even more interested in what he had seen."That seems.. very fun." She said not caring for the slightly pause her voice as she thought of her wording.

She waited impatiently for his answer for her next question. She was very curious if there was others like her and the man before her. She eyed him before listening to his next set of words. She blinked in confusion at his words. "Beasts?" She asked. Her words laced with confusion. "What are Beasts?" She added to her first question seeming be very impatient but extremely confused.

She cocked her head to the side once more as she watched him. She felt so confused! She opened her mouth to speak once more but he stopped to speak. She let him speak as she closed her mouth. Her brows remained furrowed listening to him speaks. “ There are different types?"  She asked looking at him. Her fur seems to bristle and rise at the mention of bugs. Shakes her head at her thought as she went back to listening to him

She blinked at his next sentence then step back. “Where to? " She asked watched him. Where did he want to go to? Did he mean going on journey with him?  Her ears perked up as her eyes widened. Journey?" She asked and could not contain the excitement in her voice as she gave a short nod of her head.

[Rafael]

Rafael was actually lost in his own experiences as he explained to Zadora how he felt about them and what they were like at least how he felt they were. Being so lost in the events of the past the massive black feline had a hard time realizing for a few moments that Zadora seemed confused at the term for what they seemed to be called in this second life. He could understand why for he hadn't actually felt all that happy to be called such a thing when he had been informed of the label.

He could tell that she was very interested or at least wanted to find out more about it for the simple fact that it involved her just like it involved him. So when she had asked him what exactly are Beasts Rafael had no other choice than to try and explain it to her. So moved his right arm up and down as if displaying his massive chest to her even though she was so close to it already Rafael looked down into her eyes. "We are Beasts. I met another who told me about us. Humans here try to push Beasts around so many stay away and keep to themselves. I won't live the way someone else wants so I'm going to travel and you're welcome to come with me Zadora."

"I don't know how many Beasts there are or if Beasts can be any animal. I know we are though. A journey has no destination. Me just going to keep walking and seeing all new things. Come with me and see things unlike anything else." Rafael smiled down at Zadora feeling the excitement rush throughout his body actually causing him to for the moment completely overcome his nervousness towards the female that was without a doubt the most beautiful sight he had ever witnessed and even if he wouldn't tell her that he already knew. He just hoped that she'd come along with him and experience life to the fullest.

[Zadora]

She waited for an answer from him with slight inpatients. She wanted to know about beast being she was one now and didn't quite understand it. Her head cocked to the side watching him. She tried to brush off the confusion but couldn't. Maybe it was because she didn't understand the term that he spoke of. Her foot began to tap against the ground showing her inpatients as she looked at him.

She watched him move his arms making her recoil back slightly. Watching as it he was displaying himself as a example for her question. Listening to his explanation with a small nod of her head but let a growl rumble in her throat as he spook of others pushing beasts around. She didn't like that one bit. "If someone not like us comes here, they try to push us out?" She asked making sure she got everything right.

She listened to him with interest. So there might be more and in different forms. Hearing him ask her to come with him on his journey to see new things that she hadn't seen before. She waited a long moment to think over his offer. "I go with you." She stated as she looked at him. She couldn't stop herself from smile as she nodded her head. Her tail flicked around changing speeds from fast flicks to slow sways displaying her excitement

[Rafael]

Rafael felt over excitement as Zadora told him that she would actually travel throughout the wilderness with him to see the things that neither of them could possibly ever imagine. He could see that she was happy as well as her tail moved from side to side. For once it actually seemed like Rafael was going to find something that would continue to bring joy to his life even if it was from a girl that he had only just met. As he realized that now they would be traveling together he remembered that he should ask her one more thing.

"Can you fight Zadora?" Rafael would ask the beautiful tiger Beast in front of him while trying to keep calm and remember everything that had happened to him since he had been here. He wasn't sure how Zadora was going to take his question, but he knew he had to ask her after everything he had been through. Other Beasts and humans alike were constantly willing to harm him and he knew how to defend himself if Zadora didn't then she'd have to learn in order to survive.
