Plotline: Light on the feet. A haze that obscures the mind. Vivid imagines of a black narrow hall creep in and out of the vision. Droplets of water heard echoing in the distance as the dank aroma around becomes more pungent. Where are you? The thought courses through as you are dragged through the dim lighting and into the vastness of the darkness. What is recalled; An Investigation.... P.I's asking for assistance.... then a numbing pain toward the rear of the neck. And now, you find yourself trapped. Four walls with a floor and a ceiling. The design remained the same which ever direction you turned. Tiles. Dirty, filthy tiles with the dank odor of a sewer. Only the dim light bulb overhead brightened your immediate vicinity. No doors or windows. You must escape and find out what happen.

For Mercenaries and those of the Bounts, they were contracted to provide assistance for Private Investigators in locating missing humans. As for those who are among the Ranks of Arrancars, Hollows and of other kin have been vanishing in hordes simply during nights. For those who are among the Shinigami and Quincies, humans have been reported missing and were summoned to find the cause and eliminate it if required. Age group varies. No clues aside from the reports were given and what details were provided to by the Investigators.

Special Conditions:

All participants will not have access to their weapons or other tools for a portion of the thread. At the same time it is recommended to work together with others, though not required.

This thread is not recommended for those among the Quincy race, but Quincy are still allowed. Including, a spot for Garret is reserved unless desired to revoke it. Aside from that Spots will be first come first serve. This thread will be expected to move rather quickly, so participants will be given up to 2 weeks to post for thread, if not, then a warning will be given. There will be no second warning unless for RL circumstances.

What had happened? Why was there such a pounding pain in his head? A groan escaped his lips as that single eye began to open itself up, gray irises gazing out with clouded vision. His tongue was dry, and tasted as if something bitter had been laid out upon it. Everything was cloudy, both vision and mind, but it wasn’t long before everything began to come together again. His hands began to move, grabbing out at anything around him, feeling along the cold floor and walls around him. Things began to become clearer, the first thing he noticed being the artificial light that illuminated the room he was apparently in. Wait, the room? That realization, that he was not where he last found himself to be, shocked him into waking up completely. Garret found himself sealed in a room, not knowing how he had gotten himself here. The man jumped to his feet, his bare feet, and pressed his bare back against the wall for support.

He still felt numb, dizzy almost, but looking down he realized that he wasn’t wearing any clothing besides a pair of tan pants that looked like something you’d give a prisoner working in a mine. Garret blinked, quickly throwing his gaze back and forth, trying to figure out just where he was. He winced suddenly, a sharp pain in the back of his neck, and tossing a hand back there to feel around exposed a odd lump. It was like a lump someone got when bitten by a mosquito or after having gotten a shot. He grunted, thinking back to where it was he was last and what it was he was doing. Actually, thinking on that, just what, exactly, time was it? Was it night? If it was, then where were the Hollows?

He remembered a fire, sitting in front of it and pulling his skillet from his travelling bag. He remembered slicing the potato in his hand to pieces, cooking them on the skillet before adding the meat from the rabbit he had just gotten done skinning and slicing. He remembered the smell of burning rum, of the two meals he prepared. It was then he felt a sharp pain in his neck…then everything else was a blank. No, that wasn’t quite true actually. Garret had images, brief, of a darkened hall. It wasn’t anything he could make out anyways. Images as mysterious and confusing as the room he was in. Turning about in a full circle, Garret trained his eye on the walls and floor in search of anything to find a way out. He frowned, finding no such means of escape or even any variety in the surfaces. All of the tiles were the same, all the textures and design being no different from the last.

His weapon was gone, and this caused Garrets agitation and apprehension grow. Someone brought him here, with the clear intention of having him trapped. Someone had separated him from his weapon. But who would do this? Garrets thoughts drifted to the Shinigami, particularly those blonde haired Kasumi’Ojis, but he knew that such a thing made no sense. Garret growled to himself, wondering what it was that he had now gotten himself into.
