Each and very step that she was taking now at this moment. It was different. They were different than what she normally felt. Izanami didn't know what she was doing. Why was she out of the facility? There was no reason for it. She hadn't been given an assignment and there was no training to be done. She was suppose to be asleep resting her body so that it could be pushed further. Yet for some reason after she had awoken from that dream once again this was what happened. She didn't understand why it was almost like she wasn't in control of her body.
To many this wouldn't even be a thing to think about all she was doing was walking the streets during the night due to an inability to sleep. Those that lives in urban areas normally took part is such action and yet this was something that Izanami didn't understand. She still had a hard time even thinking about things outside of combat let alone making her own choices. That wasn't something that she had ever done so what was going on right now. There was only one cause she could think of that could be the reason. That girl in her dreams the one that continues to tormet her. She's the problem and the cause of this. Perhaps it was best for Izanami to tell Yumi about what was happening even if it would mean she'd lose any chance of getting close to Satsujun.
It hadn't been much. In fact it was basically nothing, but over the last month or so through all of her battles and nightmares Izanami had began to have memories flash through her conciousness. It had been little things at first and then one night she had experienced a dream. Something that she hadn't had throughout all of her life. The dimension within her mind was quickly turned into a nightmare when she was attacked by what appeared to be a younger version of herself. Whatever it was had been able to use her Fullbring and slain her in her own dream. That dream continued to happen over and over again repeating with only minor changes. One thing stayed the same though. Satsujun had stolen her from her parents after killing them and then turned her into a weapon.
Izanami for the first time in her life felt like an actual person with emotions. She had been doing her best to stay the same around others so that they wouldn't get any kind of clue as to what she was planning. She wanted only one thing. Satsujun dead. It was at this point that Izanami was no longer even in the world of attention. She was walking without conciously being present and so she began to make her way into the road. As that happened she would hear the sound of tires screeching. Her attention was pulled back intot he world and the blonde jumped off the ground.
In that next instant onlookers although few would witness the sight of Izanami with her legs tucked up under her body over the car as it passed underneath her. It passed and Izanami landed back on her feet once more. She stood there though with no expression on her face nor emotion in her eyes. The driver of the car got out of his car revealing himself to be a rather large individual who was very angry now. Making his way over to his agressively. "Stupid whore! Stay on your curb!" shouted the man as he reached out to strike Izanami for getting in his way.
Izanami reacted like normal though not understanding why the man was reacting like this only seeing what she had been trained too. This man was raising his hand to her and was going to hit her. In short he was an enemy. So as he fist went through the air Izanami's did the same hitting him first. Her fist would strike his face knocking him backwards off the ground and sending blood across his face. Izanami being what she was though didn't stop. She held onto her tags and in the next moment the massive claymore was in her hands. It was then thrust downwards through the chest of the man killing him in an instant.
All around her Izanami heard nothing, but screaming in some strange tone. Everyone was running away from her and she didn't get why. Perhaps they were all his allies and she had just killed their leader. That would make them enemies though too. Izanami began to make her way across the road to the other side of the street. Her claymore now back into the form of tags on her necklace. Her cloak up concealing her face and the majority of her body from sight. All she was at this point was a shadowy figure. Everyone that was there though was screaming and they had all seen what she was wearing it wouldn't be long now until someone found her.

The plain Zanpakutou moved through the air, with an awkward mastery, and sliced through the Hollow's mask with ease. It twisted, and with a few uttered words, the Hollow burst into energy, it's soul being released back into the soul cycle. Amagai pulled the sword back, and with a simple movement, sheathed it. The affair was plain, without flair. Amagai wasn't the fencer that his brother was. When they were young, he was a better swordsman by far. Now, however, he'd abandoned the sword, only taking it out when ceremonially necessary. And so his skill had rusted, until the prodigy who people thought on par with a Captain had an entry level mastery.
It was unfortunate, of course, but it was the nature of things. Amagai didn't mind at all, honestly. It wasn't important to him. In general, with the exception of Hollow Hunting, he just didn't bother using his sword. And as he grew more and more important in the bureaucracy of Squad 1, he was sent on hunting missions less and less. But every so often, when he couldn't sleep and the atmosphere in the Kuchiki manor was suffocating, Amagai indulged himself, and went to the Human World.
He felt guilty, of course, when he didn't feel comfortable. He had grown up in the lap of luxury, and even though he had suffered, many had it far far worse. There were people who'd commit the greatest sins imaginable in order to live in the house he lived in, sleep in the bed he slept in, and have the family he did. And yet, he still sometimes needed to escape from it all. And where better to go than to the Human World, where he was capable of saving people's lives and helping people who wouldn't be saved normally.
And dealing with the Hollow had been one way to meet that end. But apparently, based on the screaming coming from a block over, it wasn't the only one. Amagai was at the edge of the building in a flash, staring over the edge at the street below. Girl in black. Man with a massive stab wound, nodaichi sized perhaps. A solution was needed here, and fast. At a glance, her reiatsu felt....human. Xcution, probably, or an independent agent. Other human world agents wouldn't allow random murders.
Regardless, he needed to move fast in order to save the man. Amagai's reiatsu surged from him, covering a fifty yard radius. Instantly, the wounds that the black hooded girl inflicted vanished from the man, although he'd still be winded. And Amagai was breathing harder. Not hugely, but noticeably. He needed to finish this fight quickly and efficiently, otherwise things were going to get tricky. More importantly, he needed to get her away from the crowd. But he wouldn't throw the first blow, not like this.
"To use a bit of a cliche," Amagai spoke, his voice loud and confident, coming from a face that looked like neither, "I'd advice you pick on someone your own size. Come up here, or leave this place entirely. Otherwise, I'll be forced to intervene." A clear challenge was presented in this statement, but with no inherent threat. Options were being placed in front of the girl. And the only question was whether she was aggressive enough to fight him, or whether she'd leave without a problem.

Moving over the sidewalk stones Izanami continued on her path to nowhere. There was still no reason for her to be out of the facility. All that it had led to was her assuming that the man that had nearly hit her with his car had been a foe which resulted in the individual now at death's door. Izanami was sure that he had been a foe and if she hadn't done something then he would have done his best to kill her like everything else did. These people screaming though. They were his allies and needed to be silenced or else Izanami knew she'd be outnumbered in a short period of time.
So as she started to make her way from the scene of the attack she was prepared to start killing others. She couldn't sense any reiatsu from them though which to most would have meant that they posed no threat. However, Izanami had been throughout her life been training and surviving against vicious animals that tried to kill her and yet held no reiatsu. If she ever let her guard done and something got close enough to her she'd die. She didn't really have any emotion towards such a thing not even fearing it. Yet for some reason she knew that she couldn't let herself die. If she did then Satsujun wouldn't pay for taking her away from her parents. For stealing her of a normal life which actually made her feel something inside that was new and unfamiliar.
She suddenly sensed a massive amount of reiatsu with a incredible degree of potency close to her location. This reiatsu was both more massive and more potent than anything Izanami had felt so far with the exception of Satsujun. Immediately though she also picked up the fact that the reiatsu belonged to a Shinigami. At this point she had fought enough of them to know what their reiatsu felt like. She couldn't pin point the location of the Shinigami though. Even though she had been training herself in secret to sense she knew she wasn't close to Yumi yet. So she had to use a different tactic to find her foe. This Shinigami was of course in charge of the humans that were posing a problem right now. Which meant he had to be eliminated for her to survive.
So calling on the soul of the cement at her feet Izanami jumped using the soul to increase the height reachable. She'd managed to get halfway up the side of the building that had been next to her at which point she would extend her right foot and do the same thing. Reaching the top of the building wasn't all that difficult being that the homes around here were only three stories in height. Reaching the edge of the roof Izanami grabbed ahold of the roof and pulled herself upwards. It was at this point that she sensed the reiatsu of the Shinigami near her spike by a massive amount. Looking around and yet unable to seemingly find him Izanami didn't know what was going on.
The amount of that this Shinigami's reiatsu was spiking compared to its normal status was more than she had ever sensed. Izanami in all reality had never experienced anything like this and in all her training had only learned that in a situation like this it normally meant that a technique of massive power was being channeled. She stood moving to the middle of the roof while turning her gaze and eventually locating another individual on the roof of the building next door. Izanami could make out the features of a male and the Shinigami uniform yet saw no indication of a ability in use.
That was when the Shinigami turned to her and starred her down while declaring a challenge that if she didn't challenge him she should just leave the area. Izanami starred at the man showing no signs of emotions nor expression to his words. It would be like looking at a manikin one without a soul yet at the same time the aura that was emanating off of Izanami right now was abnormal. Izanami's right hand was shaking without her actually realizing it until right now. Then that feeling for some reason lit up in her chest. What she felt when thinking about why she needed to live. What she felt in regards to killing the man that stole her. Izanami had the drive to face this Shinigami.
She had been trained as a weapon to do the bidding of Xcution with no emotion in her way. Nothing to cloud her mind and nothing to call her own. Yet despite the scientists of Xcution's best effectors Izanami had always been a problem child. Even if they though they had corrected it completely in the past it seems they were wrong. She'd been unraveling for a short time and now was starting to revert back to that thing she had been a few years ago. She didn't know why, but it just felt like she had to fight this Shinigami until one of them was dead. Subconsciously she was already in the air and landing on the roof that the Shinigami was on with her Fullbring in her right hand. "What's going on? What's happening to me?"
Suddenly she was back in that pond in the middle of the woods. Soaking wet with nothing but nature around her. "What's happening is I'm going to have some fun. You have let them take away all of my fun by being nothing, but his little toy. Just a tamed pet that obeys every order. This one is strong and I'm going to see just how I compare." There she was the younger looking version of Izanami standing on the surface of the water with her Fullbring out. Just as fast as it had appeared it was gone. Izanami was back on the roof top starring at the Shinigami. Now though she was feeling something else new. Excitement at what was going to happen something that she had never felt until now. Pulling down her hood Izanami reveals the silver eyes of the living weapon. "Prepare yourself Shinigami. Izanami Midorikawa has been deployed."

Izanami Midorikawa? That was one hell of a name. Amagai made a mental note of the name, tucking it away safely so that in the future he could read through files until he found a match. She was clearly of middling power, given the way she leapt upwards using the pavement to assist her, and the way her aura dripped off her, reminding Amagai of a pond in a forest clearing. No, that was only for a moment. The next instant, her aura changed, becoming something almost...mechanical.
It reminded Amagai of what he'd heard of Mod Souls. A mannequin, a weapon with a soul. Something had hurt this girl deeply. Amagai felt an overwhelming sadness, his heart touched by the girl's struggle. With a deep, wavering breath, made harder by his technique usage, Amagai slowly drew his sword, the motion more of a formal gesture than a declaration of intent. His body language made it very clear that he didn't want to fight, that he was reluctant to hurt the girl.
Amagai's dark red eyes met Izanami's silver ones, and with a simple voice, one with no grandeur surrounding it, he introduced himself: "Amagai Kuchiki, Squad 1 Vice Captain. Once more, I ask that you stand down, or else I will be forced to restrain you in order to minimize the harm that you would do to others, or yourself. But if you are deadset on combat, on hurting people, and so on?" Amagai's reiatsu wrapped around him, colored gold and feeling warm. "Than I will battle you, stop you, and offer you the same mercy I'd offer anyone else."

Izanami was prepared for this battle to begin she already had her Fullbring out in its form within her right hand. This Shinigami was the most powerful that she had come across so far meaning that it would be foolish to start holding back. Izanami had defeated eight different Shinigami so far four of which had managed to get away after she had managed to defeat them. Over the course of it all she had realized that experience in actual life and death battles was more progressive than even her training. She had grown much more powerful in a shorter amount of time. That drove a thought through the sub-consciousness of Izanami the little girl within her that held her true personality was curious just how powerful she might become if she overcame this Shinigami here and now.
There had been one disadvantage she had been dealing with when it came to facing off against Shinigami. During all of her battles up to this point they had always been able to get away from her when they were at death's door. Simply by utilizing their step technique shunpo. Izanami now though had closed off that disadvantage. No longer was she incapable of preforming Bringer Light. She would be able to catch this Shinigami and finish him off if it came down to it. So as he drew his zanpakuto from its sheath Izanami brought her left hand up to her neck. Unclipping her cloak and allowing it to fall down to the roof behind her.
There was no clothing to halt her movements now and her full body was revealed. Silver eyes that held no emotion yet sparkled in the moon light with more beauty than anything on earth. Izanami was cursed to be the most beautiful creature without a heart. The Shinigami spoke one last time declaring that if she didn't wish to fight then she could leave right now. However, he would fight her to keep her from causing harm to everyone around the area. Normally unless she had been given orders to attack this Shinigami Izanami wouldn't have even considered combat unless he attacked her. Yet there was something different not just his power that she sensed. She felt something else about him something familiar that was causing her subconscious to both be curious and angry.
The reiatsu of the Shinigami became visible as he threatened her and Izanami starred at it for a moment remarking at how it felt hot. Reiatsu she had learned could give away certain things about those that it came from. Some times giving off hints to what their power was or linking to the personality of the individual. Often times it was both, but Izanami didn't have the mind set to accurately assess such things. Instead she met his reiatsu with her own focusing it around her body. The reiatsu of the silver witch was revealed to be silver just as her eyes yet unlike the Shinigami it held no warmth. It was empty, void, cold and gave off nothing, but loneliness.
As her reiatsu gave off so much detail Izanami's aura would do the same emanating off of her body just as her reiatsu did the same. It felt just as her reiatsu nothing, but loneness yet at the same time darker. The Shinigami would feel her emptiness and easily realize that she was hardly even human. Calling her such a thing would feel wrong. Humans had emotion and cared about things. They lived with their decisions whether they bring them happiness or grieve. However, Izanami just seemed to be an empty shell filled with nothing, but the intent to kill. After a moment though Izanami would rush the Shinigami executing Bringer Light by channeling her reiatsu to the bottom of her feet. She'd stop right in front of the Shinigami bringing her right arm downwards aiming to slash the man in half with her full strength.
Post by Amagai Kuchiki on Apr 11, 2016 22:41:32 GMT -5
She didn't speak, but rather responded to Amagai's show of reiatsu with a show of her own, her cold silver matching his bright, warm gold. Izanami's soul, laid bare in such a manner, resonated with such a deep coldness, an isolation, that Amagai couldn't help himself. He had to save her. Capturing her, bringing her back to Soul Society, and requesting that she be rehabilitated rather than executed or imprisoned. This girl deserved a second chance, her pain clearly was causing her to act in this manner.
She didn't even feel human anymore, and that terrified him. Because he knew, with a terrifying certainty, that there were possible futures in which he looked exactly like her, in which his soul had broken and he had become a weapon to be utilized for evil. But he hadn't, due to luck and a drive to save the world, to keep everyone safe. Her killing intent was like looking in a distorted mirror. Unfortunately, the time for pity was past, she needed to be stopped.
She surged forward with a Bringer Light, her speed briefly reaching twice of Amagai's own normal speed. He jumped to the side, his body twisting as he moved so that the slash cut the front of his uniform and failed to draw blood. He stopped a few steps to the right of her, quickly calculating. He needed to conserve energy, and matching her step technique for step technique would end poorly. But the brief exchange that happened gave Amagai better diagnostic information.
Based on her movements, Amagai far outstripped her in speed, and based on the way her sword cleaved into the ground, her strength far outstripped his. But now was time to test her spiritual prowess. Without words, suddenly six rods of light would suddenly appear around the girl, and slammed into her, pinning her between them, locking her in place. The timing of it was incredibly quick, and Amagai doubted her ability to dodge. Breaking out, however, remained a possibility.
"Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel." he intoned, his voice practiced and melodic, "With light, divide this into six!" Suddenly, the girl would notice that the rods grew even more stable, and her resistance was made further difficult by a well practiced technique of post-activation incantation, one that Amagai was well versed in. The strength of the rods was now 875, and Amagai gestured at the girl with his sword, his stance solid, his breathing slightly heavy. He was still only a few steps away from her, but given the rods, that distance may has well have been a few light years.

The acceleration through the space between the Shinigami and herself was something that Izanami herself was still trying to get adjusted too. She had only been trained in how to use Bringer Light and other various movement techniques a short time ago and had yet to master them. Her skill when it came to footwork though was incredible which allowed her to move gracefully across the roof and reach the Shinigami in an instant. As she brought her Fullbring down towards the Shinigami though she witnessed that he held greater speed than her own by a vast margin.
The Shinigami with just his basic speed from what she could tell had been able to keep up with her own accelerated speed. Managing to evade to the side with only his clothing suffering the edge of her claymore. Izanami was getting to work immediately based on what she had knowledge of on this Shinigami. He held vast amounts of reiatsu along with it being incredible potent. That along with the fact that his speed was vastly superior to her own. So far it seemed that in virtually every regard this Shinigami was her superior and fighting him without a plan would be suicide.
Izanami had been trained though in more ways than one on how to execute combat situations. It was the only time that making decisions on her own was easy and normally came out positive in her own regards. Her options were limited, but then again they always had been. Suddenly she sensed the reiatsu of the Shinigami spike once again and she could tell immediately that he was going to use some sort of technique. So she did what she would need to in order to get away safely so that she could continue to gather information on her foe. Calling on the soul of the roof using Soul Dominance instead of Command the roof suddenly opened up as if a section of it just vanished.
Izanami would descend through the hole just as the six golden rods of reiatsu appeared around where she had been and slammed into one another. Izanami would land only a few feet below on the top floor of the building which just so happened to be a living room. Immediately she executed Movement rushing through the apartment into the kitchen. She had seen where the Shinigami had been standing just as his reiatsu had spiked and now raising her left hand up to the ceiling Izanami used Soul Dominance once more. The blonde human would be out of sight from the Shinigami when suddenly he was the one in danger of being trapped.
If he hadn't moved then suddenly the ground around him would start to rise cutting off all of his vision expect for above. Izanami was causing all of the material that made up the roof to move around the Shinigami until he was closed in on all sides within a few moments. That much material though couldn't come from just what was between the top floor and the roof. So she had to use what surrounded the Shinigami as well. Two feet in all directions was gone now turned into a stone like box that suddenly fell to the top floor from the roof. There was nothing there to connect it to the roof now.
Izanami knew that she could cut through the stone easily and that if everything had gone correctly and she had managed to take the Shinigami off guard and he was inside of the box then there would be only escape method that he would think of right away. Any normal individual would try to get out by jumping upwards. So as the stone box fell to the top floor Izanami jumped upwards having been only three feet from where the Shinigami had been above her. She now brought her Fullbring down with both hands with the intent to slash through the stone box and the Shinigami.
The length of her Fullbring was such that she could from the position that she was in cut clean through it starting on one side and reaching past the other. It would be cut clean in two and it was her intent to do the same to this Shinigami. However, she wasn't a fool when it came to combat. She knew that this Shinigami could use the spells known as kido and had speed superior to her own. If he wanted too then there'd be some way for him to get out or stop her. So she had to be ready. For the moment though she gave everything she had into trapping him and then cutting off his escape by bringing her Fullbring down over the top.

His opponent was incredibly agile, that much was obvious. Even if she wasn't nearly as fast as him, there was a smoothness to her movement as well as an uncanny precision to it that made her dangerous. But Amagai was well equipped to handle such finesse, and started to adjust his strategies based on her movement capabilities. The second that she dodged Amagai's bakudo, his mind started moving, plotting out her possible routes of attack. She was beneath him, so logically she'd be striking up.
But she needed to ensure a hit, because another miss would prove to be her undoing. And so, the entire rest of the battle, live or die, hinged on her ability to lock Amagai down. Fullbringers didn't have Bakudo, but Amagai knew better than to assume that he'd be safe about that. He cut his incantation short, clearly reacting to her disappearance, but the Bakudo wouldn't disappear yet. It would stick around, and it is likely that it would become relevant in a short while.
Suddenly, the roof around Amagai shifted, forming up rapidly to become a box. This must be the fullbringer ability of Soul Command, he thought to himself, but I've never heard or seen it used on this scale. Is this girl a prodigy of some sort? It was possible he had underestimated his foe, after all she did look like an assassin; it wasn't unlikely she was suppressing her reiatsu to appear to be weaker than she actually was. He needed to step it up a notch, and put her down.
As the box he was in began to fall, Amagai shifted his footing, forming air ground beneath his feet, so that he could stand stable and still even as the box was falling, an important advantage. With that, the Vice Captain stopped holding back. Amagai's gravitational pressure was unlike anything that the assassin would've experienced before. Even in the face of absolute power like Satsujun, Amagai's gravitational pressure carried a terrifying potency to it. It was less intense, but that was somehow scarier.
As Izanami, outside of the box where Amagai couldn't see her, started to move, she would feel like she was running through molasses, and might not even recognize it as gravitational pressure, but it was that nonetheless. The pressure wouldn't change significantly the closer she was to the box, and although it was obvious that Amagai was doing something, it wouldn't be obvious what on earth it was, his gravitaitonal pressure was that strange. However, there was logic to it.
Amagai was a pacifist, and by his nature, sought the end of fights. He didn't seek subjugation, like many users of pressure, nor did he seek to hurt his enemies by slamming them into the ground, but rather forcing them to struggle in order to continue violence. As normally, Izanami could move, only somewhat impaired, if she spent reiatsu to counterbalance Amagai's power, but if she didn't she would be unable to push through the dense air, and be forced to remain still.
Amagai's box was still in the air when the claymore started slicing through it. He didn't have much time to react, but he had known that the attack was coming, which made the counter easier. Izanami was going to have expected that he was still in the box, or had jumped directly out, most likely. What she wasn't going to expect was that Amagai stood totally still, and let the sword swing down at him, splitting through his head, through his neck, into the center of his body.
It didn't hurt, of course, Amagai was intangible. A modified version of the Bakudo, Sneaky Somebody, that Amagai had improv'd on the fly. Such was his talent at Kido. He had neglected the invisibility, realizing that it would remove his ability to bluff with the technique. Amagai had reacted as if in pain, as the sword sliced through him, but there hadn't been an explosion of gore. A fact that, although Izanami could've realized, would ultimately be irrelevant due to the momentum behind the blade, the fact she was in mid air and thus had less control over her own momentum, the pressure on her, and finally due to how quickly events unfolded.
By the time the sword got to Amagai's neck, he had already silently cast another spell. He had failed to land the binding on her before due to her having time to react, due ot the distance of the spell. But now, he was point blank. All six of the light rods appeared inside of Amagai, hidden by his body, and three of them shot out at Izanami as the box fell apart, pinning her around her neck, forming a triangle that would restrict her air. The other three, however, stayed inside of Amagai, locking the sword in place. Even if she dodged, if she held onto her sword, she'd be held in place and would waste the step technique. Either that, or she'd leave the sword, bound. Check.

The evasion of the six golden rods of kido that were meant to bind Izanami in place went off without a problem. The ground that she had been standing on moved outwards which allowed her to fall downwards in order to avoid the way that she had planned and then the next set of the plan was in motion. Everything seemed to be going the way that she intended. Manipulating the soul of the roof in order to move them upwards around him to lock him in place. This was a trap and one that she intended to finish this encounter.
However, as the roofing formed into the box and it started to fall Izanami once again felt a slight spike in the reiatsu of the Shinigami. It wasn't nearly as big as it had been when he had been silently casting the binding spell. However, she could tell that he was going to do something. That was when she saw his hair and could tell that he had been able to think fast enough for her trap. He was exploiting the obvious weakness of her trap by using air ground. This Shinigami wasn't going to be easy to defeat even more so than she had already anticipated.
She continued to follow through with her plan of attack though even if the Shinigami seemed to be able to see her and potentially counter her at any moment. She knew that he was vastly faster then her and had incredible talent when it came to the spell craft of his race. She was at a sever disadvantage right now. Speed was one thing that she normally didn't have superiority over however she had never been this much slower than a foe. At the same time she had never faced off against a Shinigami that could cast kido without speaking an incantation. She was going to need to be ready and constantly sense his reiatsu for any sign.
That was when suddenly everything felt different it was like she was trying to move with weights all over her body. It took her a moment as she started to bring her Fullbring down to realize what was going on. This wasn't some sort of kido that the Shinigami had just used it was his gravitational pressure. She had felt Satsujun's in the past which had instilled fear throughout her. It had been the first emotion that she had ever experienced and yet this Shinigami's pressure was completely different. It was almost like it was trying to make it so she couldn't move at all. She couldn't react fast enough to flow reiatsu throughout her body to make it easier for her to move.
By the time she had thought about it her Fullbring was already upon the shinigami and slicing through his head. Izanami starred at his eyes while her Fullbring cut through his head and down to his neck. There was no change to her eyes even as she seemingly killed a foe. There was just emptiness. However, that was when she felt a massive spike in his reiatsu again and she realized that this was wrong. She hadn't been paying attention or at least not close enough attention to him. When she had felt his gravitational pressure it had taken up to much of her attention. Thus she hadn't felt the spike in his reiatsu when he activated this fake.
The only other sign that this wasn't the real Shinigami or that he wasn't dead was that Izanami had cut through a body or bodies in the past. What she just felt gave almost no resistance to her Fullbring. It was wrong and thus something was wrong. Now though it was to late and three of those golden rods seemed to appear from the body of the Shinigami slamming into her neck. Izanami felt all of the movement from her body cease and knew what this technique was meant for. She could see that her Fullbring was in the same position and that this Shinigami had apparently succeeded in his own trap. Good.
At this point right now Izanami had been taught almost anyone would let down their guard. He had just succeeded in capturing his foe and any moment now he'd either kill her or start to speak perhaps knock her unconscious either way she didn't have long. She couldn't move her body which meant that there was only one thing she could do in order to survive. Suddenly flowing reiatsu from her body up into her face the silver emotionless eyes of the human weapon turned into the golden eyes of a hungry hollow. The veins that surrounded her eyes became visible and her teeth became sharp.
Just like that Izanami looked over at the fridge in the apartment that they were now both in and manipulated the metal that made up the handle of the fridge. It would be removed from the large mass and then reform into a small short. It was then that the sword would move through the air at a speed of 100 from behind the Shinigami. He hopefully wouldn't have been able to see anything up to now and would find that the sword suddenly would pierce into the back of his waist. Izanami needed to find a way to break these rods though or else this was for naught. Right now though injuring the Shinigami was the best she could try.

Of course Amagai had let down his guard, of course he didn't dodge the projectile that Izanami launched. It just passed through him. The Bakudo, Sneaky Someone, lasted for an extended period of time, and even longer if one recited the incantation, which Amagai began to do in his head, using the same trick he used for the first set of rod prisons he had launched, this time however recited mentally. But even regardless of that, the Bakudo would've lasted ample time without the incantation.
The darkness gathers, it blinds, it defrauds. Become the unseen, the untouched. Become cursed like those in far away lands. Fear, despair, and rot. There is no savior from penance. He was mentally reciting as the altered handle flew through him, passing through him as if he didn't exist. Instead, it flew through him, and stabbed Izanami in the hip. Amagai's eyes widened, fear coursing through them. She hadn't known that she would be injured, it was his fault that she was.
He wouldn't let her die, that much he knew. Amagai had a kill count of 0 on all the missions he had gone on since joining the Gotei 13. As a true pacifist, he protected the lives of friend and foe alike. The wound however, although bad, wasn't lethal. In fact, although it would hurt, it was likely to cause her to fall unconscious faster, due to the blood loss stacking on top of the air deprivation. Once she was unconscious, he would heal her, and bring her back to Soul Society.
But as it stood, she couldn't move without exerting herself, she was hurting, and the rods around her neck would starve her of oxygen. He was bringing her to justice, nonlethally. And really, that was all that Amagai could ask for these days.

Izanami's eyes the dark golden with slanted pupils starred at the form of the Shinigami in front of her. This individual had been able to do what none of the other Shinigami up to this point had been able to do. Not to mention in far less time and with much less effort. He'd been able to detain her. Something that very few individuals throughout her life had actually managed. Although her expression continued to be one of nothingness as was her nature on the inside deep in her depths beyond what she could even feel there was a disturbance.
Choosing the handle of the fridge was the best thing that she could think of at the time and manipulating it so that it's form changed into that of a short sword seemed logical. It was only three feet in length and moderately thick yet was nothing compared to her Fullbring. Moving it through the air was something else entirely though. She had only been able to achieve such a thing recently and now as she was struggling to breathe it was more difficult. She knew her bodies limitations and it wouldn't take long until she was unconscious. So trying to stab the Shinigami from behind was the logical explanation.
However, that did pan out to well for Izanami as it seemed that whatever spell he had used was still active. She should have guessed due to her Fullbring still being nudged inside of his neck. However, she didn't know if this was an illusion or something else entirely. Her assumption had been that his lower body was still present and only his top half had been safely guarded. It turned out she was wrong as the short sword stabbed into her hip. The right side now impaled by the first three inches of the blade Izanami did her best to ignore everything. He was right in front of her and saw everything and yet even now she would appear to have no emotion. No reaction at all to even so much as self harm.
Having been stabbed in the past more times then she could actually remember made what she was feeling now more familiar than anything else in her life. She'd suffered physical pain that many would crack from. Everything from being attacked and tramped by animals small and large alike to suffering fire what she was feeling right now was little due to her tolerance for pain. The problem was that there seemed to be no way to move her body and unless she could break these golden rods than she was going to pass out and this Shinigami would be able to do whatever he deemed fit to her. She was running out of oxygen, but there was still more to be done.
She saw the look no the expression across the face of this Shinigami though. It was something that she couldn't understand. An expression that she throughout her life had never seen on anyone. It was new. It was mysterious and it was confusing. Using what little she had left in her Izanami concentrating on the freezing door of the old fridge. It would suddenly change shape slightly into what looked to be a shield with edged sides and circular in shape. The metal circle would fly through the room towards her vertically passing through the Shinigami only to wrap around Izanami in hopes that it would strike the sides of the rods with enough force to shatter them and free her.

She was resisting, but she wasn't resisting amazingly. Whatever telekinetic power she was using, which Amagai assumed was Soul Command, seemed to be stressing her body immensely, judging by the veins that were bulging around her eyes, the way her reiatsu was flaring (which Amagai noted felt distinctly hollowish, but that was likely due to the nature that Fullbring reiatsu and Hollow reiatsu felt similarly regardless), and her attempts to lash out at the cost of her own health.
Her teeth were sharpened, he noted. That's unhealthy, but not surprising. Assassins, especially ones that had endured abuse such as this girl clearly had, did weird things and had concerning mannerisms. She didn't respond the sword that stabbed her, but instead just lashed out again. Her eyes glanced towards a fridge, and the sound of ripping metal was enough to clue him into what she was planning. Realizing what was about to happen, realizing how likely she was to just hurt herself again, he decided to intervene.
Amagai took a step back, so that the sword no longer was bisecting him, and terminated the Bakudo that rendered him in a ghost state. It had served it's purpose, and given how much she was struggling, he doubted that the girl would mount another offensive. The shield flew at him, now solid, but before it could reach him, a sudden pulse of force shot from him in all directions. Well, almost all directions. Amagai cut out a section for the girl, so that she wouldn't be struck.
The force hit the shield, and sent it spinning off wildly, flying at 1400 speed, before it broke against a nearby wall. Amagai was noticeably breathing harder, still from the earlier exertion of using Breath of Life, as well as burning through this much reiatsu. The girl had clearly caused him to exert himself, or at least his pacifism had. That was up for debate. Regardless, he was stable, and he was successfully choking the assassin out. She didn't have much time left before her lungs gave out, not while she was injured like this, not while she was spending reiatsu.

The small amount of oxygen that Izanami had left in her lungs that was coursing throughout her body wasn't going to be enough to sustain her conciousness for more than a few more moments. She could feel herself getting slower while her pulse was rising more and more and sooner rather than later she'd see everything start to get dark until she passed out. So as the freezing door of the fridge was altered into a shield that then moved through the air at a speed of 100 towards the shinigami she watched carefully taking note of each of his actions the best that she could.
For some reason though the shinigami then stepped backwards and Izanami watched as her Fullbring fell to the ground out of his body. It was in that moment that the reiatsu of the shinigami once again spiked and she could tell that he was going to do something. She watched as his reiatsu blasted back everything around him aside from in her direction. The shield was sent backwards faster than she could even see it like it was suddenly just gone. However, that was when she noticed that this shinigami was breathing very heavy and this was her chance. The only one that she had left and if she didn't take it then she was the loser for once. So her pupils moving downwards her golden eyes took sight of the short sword in her hip.
In that next instant the short sword suddenly launched from her body turning around in mid air while on its path to the chest of the shinigami. Izanami knew it was a long shot, but due to the heavy breathing this was the best chance that she had to take him off guard. She was seemingly defenseless right now bound by his spell and her last attack seemed to be the only hope. So this one would hopefully have a better chance of getting him. If she managed to kill him then she knew his spell would disappear and she'd be free. However, if she failed and he somehow dodged or blocked then there really wasn't much left for her to do.
She was there her feet off the ground as her Fullbring suddenly reverted back to the form of her dog tags with her name written across one of them and the other having nothing, but a large X in black. She was losing sight everything was starting to go black and as that happened the reiatsu that she was channeling into her eyes could no longer be controlled. Reverting back to the natural silver tint that still held nothing within them Izanami began to lose conciousness. At this point though everything would have already been desided either the shinigami would have found some way out or taken less damage or he was dead. Either way Izanami could no longer stay awake with no air.

One last attack, one last defense needed. As Izanami was fading out of consciousness, her reiatsu starting to soften, she launched one last attack with her Soul Command. The sword was launched out of Izanami's hip, towards Amagai. Luckily, Amagai had never turned, and thus was facing Izanami, being able to track the attack. However, there was one major problem with the current situation: how on earth was Amagai going to defend himself?
He couldn't afford to burn another huge amount of reiatsu on Sneaky Somebody, so that was out. He could dodge to the side, but it was close enough that he didn't want to risk getting clipped. That, and he was a little bit off guard. His gut reaction was an Area Thrust again, but Izanami would be in the direction that he was blasting, and he couldn't afford to hit her with the force of the thrust, it would be very likely to snap her neck as she got slammed against the rods.
So he had to do the stupid solution, the self sacrificing one. As Izanami faded out, she would see Amagai hold two hands up, covering each other, holding them in the path of the sword that was flying at him. The sword stabbed through Amagai's hands, and if it wasn't for his massive force of will, he'd have screamed out. But instead, he stayed silent, wincing slightly. Amagai, ultimately, was talented at suffering and surviving it. The sword stopped, and Amagai slowly slid one hand along the blade, removing it, then doing the same with his other hand.
His reiatsu went quickly to work, easing his wounds as he walked towards the girl. She was unconscious. "Amagai Kuchiki requesting extraction. I have a prisoner in custody." He spoke calmly, to no one in particular. Sure enough, in a few moments, a gate opened up before the two of them. Amagai let the rods disappear, Izanami falling limply on the ground. He picked her up, barely, pocketing her dogtags, and carrying her through the portal.
She was quickly placed into restraints, and brought away to prison, still unconscious. Amagai personally healed her himself, using the same healing technique that he had used to save the man she had attempted to kill, as well as himself in the same technique. He chose to spare her, and give her the highest potential chance at life. He intended to go to her trial as well, when that came to pass, and ensure that she got the best possible deal that she could.
