"Yup! I'm sensing about 5 or so eggs near by, plus Blaze and Karan. I'm not sure why there's that many around, though..." Shizune had her usual smile on her face as she hid in the shadows alongside Umi. Her expression blocked out the worry she had about the afreet egg numbers, especially since she and her meister were only one stars. "Do you need a specific weapon or can I choose this time?" Shizune asked, taking precautions towards the situation. Her normal, slightly dark attire assisted her camouflage as she stayed in hiding, only showing herself every-so-often to make sure that they were still on track to find the eggs or subconsciously fix a part of her clothing, like pulling the skirt or stockings back in place. I'm pretty sure that these souls are near a field... But I'm just not familiar with this part of town. I'll have to rely on my own guesses. Shizune remained close to Umi, ready for whatever came at her. She flipped her hair and smiled back over to Umi, trying to reassure her that they could get a chance to get something this time.
The yellow moon was grinning in the sky, quite literally as blood leaked from his eyes and nose, and from his white crooked teeth. The cheshire grin that he wore only added to a feeling of dim suspense, and a creepy chill along not just the spine, but the joints as well. The sky appeared to be a purple, starless haze around the moon, which barely gave off any light compared to the darkness. It was like a whale had swallowed a dim lamp. This was the kind of night in which bats fluttered through the air, and snakes and worms slithered on the ground. Only during this kind of night, when the moon lit the sky with an evil glow, could a Kishin be born. There could be no mistake that this entire town was overrun by Afreet Eggs, and any one of them could turn into a Kishin at any time. It was priority to find and destroy them. But, in this haze of shadows and darkness, vision was twisted into nothing but dim and blurry shadows, while the other senses were constantly fooled by crickets and maggots.
Shadowed by the darkness of a tall building, three figures stood, simply observing the area as a cool night breeze yawned over it. The tallest one stepped out, raising his head towards the sky to intake the chilly night air. "It's cold tonight." Ice Me-Ka noted, pocketing his hands for warmth. Stepping out from behind him, his two partners. The first, Aibi. The second, Bianca. Together, they were one of the stronger three star meister combos, something Ice was dually proud of. "Shinigami-Sama wasn't wrong." Ice said, glancing back at his two partners. Aibi, the one with the mole on her chin, was the first to speak. "Yep yep!" she exclaimed in a pippy voice, like a bird's chirp, and with the speed of a gattling gun. "There are some other meisters nearby!!!" Bianca spoke then. "Shall we go greet them?" As opposed to Aibi, she spoke in a solemn tone. Out of the two of them, she was better at sensing things, and so Bianca could feel the air around them. "No." Ice responded after a slight hesitation. "There are six Afreet Eggs nearby. We need to be sure to find them first and make sure they can't sneak up on the others."
Meanwhile, something that looked like a human spider started rushing towards Karan and Blaze. The spiderlike human had the lower body mirror image of a spider's abdomen, including the legs. It was black, shiny, with a red hourglass in a bloody color adorned on the bottom. The torso itself had no shirt, and had a muscular eight pack, gray skin. The hands were clawed like those of a lion, and the eyes were dimly white. The Afreet Egg was running towards Karan and Blaze fairly quickly, and it looked like it was strong. By that logic though, it shouldn't be too difficult for Umi and Shizune to locate it as well, and come to the aid of Karan and Blaze. The Afreet Egg reached them fairly quickly, jumping up and releasing what appeared to be some kind of dart from its mouth, straight at Karan's face.

"Here we go..." Karan said, his smirk widening. An Afreet Egg was rushing at them, and it looked somewhat like a spider. Karan already had his hand out towards Blaze and said, "Blaze" This was all Karan needed to activate his partners weapon form. There was a bright flash of light, and suddenly, Blaze had turned into a Yo-yo, with the end of its string wrapped around Karan's index finger. The Yo-yo was a golden color with three aqua blue rings in the center of it. The string glowed a brilliant silver color in the moonlight, for it was not a regular string, but super sharp wire. As the Afreet Egg launched its needle attack, it would find that Karan was not there. Rather, Karan was above the Afreet Egg, and was pulling back his right arm, which had Blaze in its grasp. Karan was analytical in battle, and had reasoned that a spider like thing would probably have webbing somewhere in its powers. Thus the needle might not be a needle, and instead, might have been a web of some kind, prompting Karan to avoid the attack as soon as the Afreet Egg opened its mouth. Karan was very fast, and would have the speed to do this probably.. Karan let Blaze loose, the Yo-yo spinning at the Afreet Egg. It would slam into it, crushing it down and slicing it with the bladed part of Blaze's Yo-yo form. Karan quickly drew back his hand, causing the Yo-yo to fly back into his grip. Then Karan let loose a barrage of quick, devastating throws, each precise and calculated. It was more like rapid thrusts from a sword then anything else, but these were faster and more deadly in a sense. Karan landed on the ground after the assault, and quickly threw the Yo-yo once more at the Afreet Egg. This was a backup plan if the barrage failed, Karan manipulated the Yo-yo's path to wind the wire around one of the Afreet Egg's legs, and quickly yanked on the wire, which would sever one of them completely. Karan waited for his foe's next move, ignoring that two more Soul Wavelengths were coming towards him.

Blaze's mouth spread into a battle-ready grin as the spider-like Afreet Egg approached him and his meister. He nodded once as he heard his name, his entire body flaring with a bright, white flash of light. Blaze shifted from a humanoid form into his weapon form in a single instant, the form being a Yo-yo, with the end of its string coiling itself around Karan's index finger while it was white. His form dimmed and revealed its color and details, the Yo-yo was a golden color with three aqua blue rings in the center of it. The string of the Yo-yo was metallic silver and extremely razor sharp to anyone besides Karan. Blaze allowed Karan to control his movements and he felt himself being thrown and jerked around in controlled movements, though currently Blaze only had two jobs right now. One was to keep himself spinning constantly to slice through the target's Karan threw him at and the second was to fully use his soul sensory and senses, keeping them alert for anything that may cause danger to Karan.

"Which ever weapon you would like to turn into is fine. I do not mind. I'm feeling a bit random and unexpected tod-" Umi heard some commotion in the distance. Since she knew that Karan and Blaze were close she figured it was them in the distance. Maybe they had gotten into a fight. They could be in trouble. Umi wasn't one to help out much or go out of her way for others. However she had been working with them somewhat and she didn't want to look bad if anyone got hurt. "Can you sense that? I heard some commotion in the distance in the direction you said you sensed the others. We should go check it out. Quick form into a smaller weapon so i can hold you and run faster." Umi was extremely quick. Even though she was only a one star meister she had trained her body to move quickly and effectively. Once Shizune formed into a weapon in her hand Umi would run full tilt into the direction of the others. Hopefully Shizune would help guide her in case the echoes or sounds bounced off the buildings and mislead her.

"Not a problem." Shizune smiled at her meister, then suddenly began to glow a bright purple color. She stayed in this illuminated form for just a few moments. As it faded, Shizune placed herself in Umi's hand as a small ninja blade. She figured that in this case, a blade would work with Umi's mobility better than any other weapon. And if needed, Shizune could always change again. Settled in Umi's grip, now fully a weapon, Shizune presented her senses to their surroundings. "Alright, there's an Afreet Egg near by. But Karan and Blaze are taking care of it. We need to go meet up with them quickly, okay? They should be just straight ahead through the field. A quicker route would be through the small town since Karan was so far ahead of us. But just straight through should be fine." Shizune paused for a second. "I smell something too. Blood? It's not human. I'm positive it's the egg." Doesn't seem like much of an issue for now.. She thought.
Ice opened his eyes. He'd been in a meditative stance while seeking out the exact locations of the six afreet eggs that were close to him. "Let's get them!" Ice exclaimed. In an instant, he launched forwards as Bianca and Aibi transformed into gloves on his hands. The first afreet egg was relatively close, something that made it easy to target. Ice used the gloves to generate some ice, and propel himself forwards, freezing the ground behind him. It was already a pretty cold night, but this just made it even colder. The very first thing that came to Ice's mind was a new possibility for a way he could use his ice gloves. He'd test it out on the next afreet egg that he came across. Ice released a larger amount of power into the next blast, for he did have a great control over it. This blast propelled him into the air like a divine rocket, going off to heaven at speeds man could not comprehend. Of course, his speed wasn't nearly so grand, but it was fast, and it was something that could be overestimated quite easily.
He landed on the ground, spinning in front of an afreet egg. The horrific looking beast appeared to be an all black centaur. It somehow reminded Ice of the apple, and of all that spawned from it. He didn't really believe in the story, but it was a good metaphor. If only people could see what had become of some of those people spawned from that one apple bite. "Time to test my new technique." Ice said. He took a sideways horse stance, aiming his right glove at the afreet egg as it charged forwards. A large jet of ice flew towards it, and it side stepped on its way, allowing it to dodge. Ice already knew that enemies could do this. Whenever he attempted a straight out jet, this kind of thing happened. But, now he had an idea to go along with it. He aimed his left palm at the floor behind him, and ice shot out of it. He moved his arm accordingly to propel himself around, changing both direction and location at a decent speed to maneuver around and aim his jet back at the enemy.
The afreet egg cried out as the ice consumed it, and subsequently shattered to release a red soul. A second afreet, this one appearing to be some kind of black lion with a human on the bottom, rushed out with a roar and ran towards Ice. Using his newfound ice jet propelling, he whirled himself around with a sweep of his hand, aiming the attack jet at the oncoming enemy. This one had observed his fight, and so it jumped and landed behind him, zig zagging towards him so that it could try to take him out without being hit. "Play it that way?" Ice asked. "Tough freaking luck." He changed his second and first jets trajectory to the floor to launch himself up as if on a geyser, and then he spun in mid air to create ice around him. He shaped the bottom to be as sharp as possible, and continued spinning now so that he could bring himself spinning down as a drill. The beast reached his location just at that moment, and the drill crashed down on it, killing it. The drill abruptly shattered after doing this, and a second red soul popped out. Collecting the souls, Ice grinned. "Which of you is hungry?" he asked.
Meanwhile, the afreet egg that Blaze and Karan were fighting proved to be a much more skilled adversary than anticipated. Its legs retracted into its body, and it started bouncing around. It was very bouncy apparently, and could shoot those needles. It moved around, even bouncing off of walls, doing this constant movement to dodge the attacks. With each direction it bounced to, it fired off three needles towards Karan. In total, it bounced fifteen times, continuing to bounce even after the attacks were evaded. It therefore released 45 needles moving towards the opponent. It was obvious that each and every one was poisonous, and being hit by even one wouldn't be a very good thing for this mission. On the other hand, it was a strong afreet egg. How they would be able to get out of this fight without being hit, it was uncertain.
Next off, over towards Shizune and Umi, another afreet egg was attacking them. It came out of the darkness, revealing itself to be some kind of floating mask, with half a human skeleton sticking out of it. The mask had glowing red eyes, and a large grin. The mask's mouth moved and chattered as the human skeleton groaned. The mask mouth opened, and a fireball flew out towards Shizune and Umi. Quick, deadly. A fireball was really all that it would take to end the fight if it hit them, so obviously getting hit was out of the question. What was the best answer to this? Dodge. Not just dodge, run. Do some kind of ambush attack, or just dodge the fireball, run up a wall, and do some kind of fancy acrobat movement that would allow a hit on the mask or skeleton. It wasn't exactly revealed which part was the main part of the afreet egg. Perhaps it could survive without one of the parts.

"Hehehehe... looks like this one might put up an interesting fight eh Blaze?" Karan slightly laughed. Karan did not usually laugh unless he was excited, and he was not usually excited unless he was in battle. The fourty-five needles were rushing at them, though Karan had a plan. He never went anywhere without a backup plan. "All right Blaze, im in the mood right now. Trick Manuever, Around the World, Aerial Style. Start." Karan instructed Blaze. This was one of the regular Yo-yo tricks that Karan had adapted for combat use. The Around the World trick in this case, was adapted into a sort of attack/defense form. This was a variation of that trick, and lived up to its name of "Around the World". Karan grabbed part of the silvery wire cord with his left hand, and begun to rapidly twist, spin, and yank it around. This in turn, affected Blaze, making him fly all around Karan in a sort of sphere like manner. This particular trick was a combonation of effort from both Karan and Blaze. Karan provided the power and speed behind it, but Blaze was the one who did the direction, and accuracy. In addition to this, Blaze was given partial freedom of movement in this trick, as Karan could not see behind him obviously. This was a trick that he and Blaze had worked on for a while before actually getting it down, and it had payed off before. The needles were sliced, diced, and stopped in their tracks when they hit the swirling wire and Yo-yo.
"Now... how to deal with that bouncy spider..." Karan wondered aloud, landing on the ground. Karan then thought of something. Since it constantly bounced around like this, its next trajectory would be easy to find. Quickly scaning the path and movement of the spider, as well as dodgeing and deflecting the needles shot at him, Karan threw Blaze at a gap between where the spider would bounce to next. It would be hard to avoid, though it was likely the spider would have another trick in store for them. If that was the case, Karan would simply adjust the flight path of the Yo-yo so it would still hit spider if it changed course. The only thing left to do was wait and see what happened. Along with dodging the needles still being thrown out.

"Might. It hasn't impressed me yet." Blaze responded with a light chuckle in his tone. Blaze directed the wire part of himself to move all around Karan so fast that it kinda looked like a sphere was around Karan and slice the needles into pieces. This was done in a controlled matter and meanwhile, Blaze paid attention to the egg's movements. He then came up with the idea to trap and kill the spider. "I have an idea if this dosen't work, Ill ricochet myself off of the walls to surround it with wire, then just pull when I say so." Blaze suggested to Karan after hearing him ask what to do and after being throw, seeing that Karan was aiming at a point where the spider was going to travel. Blaze approved of this idea and spun the yo-yo part of his weapon form at blazing speeds, it becoming like a rotating saw blade. The blade would slice cleanly through the egg if it made physical contact with it, unless it had some kind of armor now that they were unaware of.

As Umi was moving towards the direction that Shizune was telling her to go she kept her mind clear. She was keeping out in case any opponents attempted to sneak up on them. She was some what good at sensing with her hearing and sight but she relied on Shizune to sense for the most part. Umi bent her knees positioning herself in a sudden crouch. "Hm? An enemy." She said. Then spun herself to face it. She saw the fireball and extended her legs kicking herself backwards and into the air spinning in a ball as she held Shizune. Then her feet met the wall and she once again kicked off. This caused her to lunge at the afeet egg. Her trajectory would not cause her to run into the fireball. "I am going to need something a bit longer if I am to reach it." She said to Shizune as she neared the afeet egg. She then slashed towards it. Hopefully Shizune would have formed into a longer blade so it would connect to its head slashing through it. After slashing Umi would flip her legs around so that she could gently land on her feet and turn to to face the back of the beast.

Shizune smiled at her meister. "Where do you learn to dodge like that, huh? I want to do it, too!" She giggled shortly, then glowed a bright purple once more. Still remaining in Umi's hand, Shizune seemed to lengthen and stop about three feet from the end of her meister's arm. Once she stopped glowing, Shizune's face changed to display a very malicious look, though she was still smiling, as her pinwheel necklace transformed into a black color. She managed to complete the change as Umi slashed at the Afreet Egg. "Weapon form, Demon Sword. Double-edged. Kill it." As Umi landed back on her feet, Shizune's necklace changed back to blue, and the malicious face that contorted her had left, replaced with a soft, innocent gleam. She always enjoyed fighting. "Think we got him?"
The yoyo impacted the spider...and bounced off. The whole thing left not a single mark, simply bouncing off of the rubbery body of the spider, which landed, bounced off of the ground into a wall, and used that bounce to roar towards Karan and Blaze. This time, spikes exploded out of its body, making it a sufficiently spiked enemy that was moving really fast. Basically, they were about to get hit by a giant spiked ball that would crush AND skewer them at the same time. The spikes looked durable. While there was no proof to back this up, it was best to assume the worst. The worst was to assume that the spikes could shatter Blaze. That was just one way of looking at it. There were many other ways to look at such a thing. For all they knew, the spider could just be susceptible to water, though such an unsupported theory would be foolish to ever dare to try out. They'd die if they attempted something so foolhardy.
Meanwhile, Ice was off killing other Afreet Eggs. Being Level 3 had the benefit of strength. His adventures were unimportant at that moment. The only true importance lay in Shizune and Umi at that moment, aside from the importance over with Karan and Blaze. For Shizune and Umi, the blade directly impacted the afreet egg...and it split in half. This broke it, and it reconstructed both halves, which formed two smaller enemies. They both drew large axes out now, and started charging at Umi and Shizune from different sides, right and left. They were galloping at an insane speed, a horse's speed. Good luck trying to move faster than a galloping horse. The axes were being swung down as they neared, ready to cleave the pair in half if they couldn't defend. There should be something nice to use to defend, they just needed to think it up really quick. Thought was a quick process, so it should be fine.

"Pheh.... starting to get boring. Lets end this." Karan said, a scowl forming on his face. As the Yo-yo was bounced off, Karan quickly yanked back on it, making it come back to his palm. Karan was on the ground by this point, and could see the Afreet Egg rushing at him and Blaze with spikes all over its body. "All right, lets try it your way Blaze." Karan said to Blaze. Karan proceeded to throw Blaze into a nearby wall with a great amount of force. Blaze bounced off of the wall however, and quickly the wire was in the Afreet Eggs path. It didn't stop there though, soon the Yo-yo was bouncing around all over the place, and there was a thick layer of wire all over the Afreet Egg. As it cam towards him, Karan simply jumped out of the way of the Afreet Egg. "Judgement, guilty. Penalty, death. Execution, now." Karan said. Karan then twitched his finger, and the wire instantly responded. It sliced through the Afreet Egg like butter, leaving only a red soul behind. "Well Blaze, heres your meal. Eat up." Karan said, slightly smiling.
