Garret seemed less than pleased that his massive sword had been handled with care and brought to the army along with all of his armor and various other equipment and clothing. It seemed that it was easy enough for him to make his way there though and get his gear. He managed to meet one of the senior members of the group of Rogues while in the armory. A individual by the name of Jebu. The two of them seemed to get along which wasn't surprising considering that Jebu was one of the easiest going members in the group.

However, short their interaction had been it seemed to be something of welcome to Garret as not many of his interactions went off so smoothly. After that though Garret made his way out of the army. He would choose to wonder throughout the hallways of the cave until he more than likely came to an exit. At the moment he was still underground so he had no clue whether it was actually day or night and if the hollows would be upon him soon. After a few minutes passed though Garret would hear the sound of a woman screaming in pain. He could either make his way down towards the hallway to his right to see what was going on or he could continue straight until he found his exit.

Meanwhile it seemed that the Mod Soul had become overconfident in his wind armor of reiatsu. In the flash of light the member of Xcution had been caught off guard and thus unable to defend himself through evasion. The fire that the Rogue had seemingly shot off from his right arm had been powerful enough that it managed to get through his armor and severely burn his chest. At the same time it knocked Kaze backwards into one of the stone pillars. The Rogue had seen that his attack had been successful and based on that believed that he could defeat this Mod Soul.

However, almost immediately after that first exchange the Mod Soul reactivated his wind armor. The Rogue could only watch as the crazy lunatic caused the pillar behind him to crumble. He looked around somewhat frightened and then saw that Kaze was charging. He wasn't charging at him though. He realized what the Mod Soul was going to do and instantly executed shunpo. Knowing the surroundings of the room the Rogue managed to get out prior to the collapse of the roof. Afterwards Kaze seemed to be digging himself deeper into the cave through the ground.

He would continue to dig through the ground until after about thirty seconds he would suddenly fall down somewhat until he then began hovering again. It was at this point that he would actually reach a floor with hallways again. He would be in a hallway lit by the candle sticks. However, there was a problem. As he dropped into the hallway he managed to make a massive amount of noise. There was no question that within moments there would be another Rogue coming down one side of the hallway and Kaze had to choose. Either forwards or backwards.

"Stupid fire... stupid cave.... stupid fire guy..." Kaze grumbled, rubbing his probably more than bruised back as he flew through the earth and rock like air, wearing a pained expression on his face, in place of his normally vacant, happy-go-lucky expression. He didn't dare touch the burn on his chest, knowing that trying to rub charred flesh was more than a bad idea. He remembered the feeling of burning, the scorching pain his sister dealt him, testing the limits of his power. "I guess Kasai was right. Fire does trump me." He said to himself, still grimacing. "....stupid fire guy."

Kaze was just about done with this crummy mission. He thought he'd spend some time ACTUALLY training to learn something to better himself, but noooo, he was out here, in some dark pit in the middle of a stupid dessert, with some stupid shinigami, trying to find out things for some stupid Quincy, and now he's running away from some stupid fire guy, who couldn't hold a candle to my sister! "AND HOW DEEP IS THIS FLOOR!?" And if by command, he fell into a stairwell, poorly illuminated by some candles.

"....This changes nothing." He said with a dark expression. He looked from side to side. One way went down. One went back up. Decisions, decisions. On the one hand, he could go back and call it a day. Not like Asmo would know the difference. On the other though, adventure was waiting. He looked back and forth a total of ten times each, humming to himself on each one. "....Whatever, I waited a hundred years to learn the dumb move, what's another few days?" Plus if he was in a bind, he could just fly back into the wall or floor to escape again. "Oh, right!" So he flew down the stairway at a breakneck speed, charging head first at any potential danger in front of him.

Garret stopped, hearing the sounds of screaming coming from the tunnel to his right. The swordsmans eye narrowed, looking back at the tunnel leading out to the outside world. He sighed, deciding against his better judgment to see what was causing the commotion he was hearing. The Rogue turned to his right, and began to head down the tunnel. In order to make sure that he was not snuck up on, however, he spent some of his Life Force to tap into the hunger of his Bakkoto, and send out a pulse to see what was ahead of him. Garrets Echo would reach out for miles around him, and it was impossible to suppress life energies. Garret picked up on the life of all of those in the cave, so whatever was ahead of him down the tunnel would be picked up by the Echo.

Time was starting to dwindle it wouldn't be to much longer now until Hollows started to rip through reality in order to try and devour Garret. The Rogue's had been holding off and slaying the hollows by themselves for the last couple of nights with no casualties. However, that had been while they were waiting for Garret to recover so that he might join them. Now there was no reason for them to actually even stay here let alone protect him. The mountain of a spirit sent out a pulse of reiatsu that would allow him to sense the life energies of everyone inside the cave.

He'd more than likely be quite surprised to sense what felt like more than five dozen other individuals. Most of them were in fact the Rogue's that grouped up together in order to stay alive and protect one another. They weren't the only ones down here though. There was the group of six Shinigami that at the moment were split apart. Garret would sense one of the life forces growing weaker while another one went entirely out meaning something had just died. It was far enough away from him that he wasn't in any danger yet he'd be able to sense that there was something where he had heard the scream.

The thing was though that there was only one life source in that area. So there were a few possibilities. The individual that just screamed was already dead and what he was sensing was the killer. That or it was some sort of trap. There were a few other options yet those were the two most likely. As all of this was going on though Garret would suddenly sense a life force that was moving downwards through the cave faster than any of the others and it was coming down right towards him. It would then suddenly stop only a few feet above him more than likely on the floor above and would start moving in the direction that led away from where he had heard the scream. So which way was he going to go?

Kaze seemed to be up to continue onwards throughout the cave in order to get to the bottom of this adventure. So he moved downwards throughout the hallway not taking the time to investigate anything. So when suddenly the walls started to suddenly close shut in front of him and behind him he would more than likely be surprised. However, he'd probably not think about it and continue onwards thinking he'd just be able to burst through the stone walls that now blocked his way. However, that wouldn't be the case. It wouldn't be that easy. He was now trapped in a hallway with no way out and for some reason the floor was starting to turn black.

The floors, walls and ceiling were now pitch black and Kaze's armor would do little more than chip away at it. Even if he tried punching it and constantly pushing against a single surface it'd only start to erode slowly. There wouldn't be able time it seemed. At least if he thought about it that'd probably go through his head. For now the walls were enclosing in and the ceiling was starting to get lower. It seemed that he was going to be crushed and unless he could figure out a way to get through one section of the box he was in or stop it from moving he was going to die.

Garret's walking continued as he continued down the tunnels path, heading to where he had heard the sound of the scream as well as the source of Life Energy. His footsteps were his only companion as he continued, his Echo having served its purpose and as a result was no longer active. It only lasted for a moment anyways, as the technique was literally a quick pulse. He had no idea about the other source of reiatsu moving in a tunnel above him, but his guard was raised. Garret was paying attention to his surroundings and everything, making sure that he wouldn't be snuck up on as he continued to search for the source of the scream.

So it seemed that the Mod Soul that clung to his wind armor like it was life itself now had no idea what to actually do. He was trapped inside what appeared to be a small space with black walls that was closing in on him. His armor was only leaving scratches on the walls and slowly chipping away at it. By now he'd realize that there was no way he'd be able to break free from the walls. He'd be crushed by them sooner than later. Which meant that there had to be something else he could do.

Kaze wasn't always the greatest at paying attention which right now was a consequence of such a thing. However, he was a member of Xcution. Along with being recruited by Asmoskon and taught by him however brief it was there was one thing that the Quincy would have made sure to get through to him. Every technique. Every ability. Every action. All of them have some sort of weakness. Find the weakness and exploit it. So if there was a weakness to these enclosing walls what was it?

Garret had his guard up after sending the signal outwards from him to pick up all signs of life. All he had sensed near him was the life source of the killer. The scream he had read had belonged to a newly deceased individual. As he turned into the new tunnel he'd see the scene of the girl. Laying there on the ground. Laying there though wasn't the best way to put it. The body of the girl was covered in what looked to be hardened stone with black metal wires connecting her body to the walls.

Her body looked like it was wrapped up in the black hard like substance in the same manner as a cocoon with only her face still visible. If he looked though he'd see the sight of a Shinigami walking down the tunnel with a zanpakuto oozing with black liquid. That was when they started to arrive though. It was in an instant that a Garganta opened up behind him. What came through the black portal was a small ball of spikes that would clash against his sword only to bounce off and then stare at him from ten feet down the tunnel. "You smell strange giant."

[Jikken Kaze]

Kaze was getting pissed. Here he was, in a box, with little light, and for some reason, these BLASTED WALLS WEREN'T BREAKING! "EVERYTHING IS MADE OF STUPID!" He roared, peppering the wall before him with a flurry of punches. However, every strike did next to nothing, only serving to further infuriate the elemental mod soul. He was at the end of his wits trying to get out of here, with his only companion being the torch to the left of him. That and the constant cries for slaughter and destruction that Jikken always made.

When Kaze finally stopped attacking the curse'ed wall, he was slouched and huffing. There would have been a sheen of sweat on his body, but his armor kept him cool with a constant stream of air all over his body. This thing was clearly not going down easily, and while he could bring it down eventually, it wouldn't be worth the effort. 'Maybe....' A random thought passed through Kaze's normally empty head. He stood up straight, and paused his armor, before he approached the wall. He pressed his hand to the earth, and waited to see what happened. If something tried to attack him, he'd reactivate his armor immediately.

It seemed that Kaze was still trying to get out of the box of black earth that had been surrounding him for roughly a full minute now. It seemed to finally set in for the Mod Soul that his wind armor wouldn't be able to break down these black walls in he time that he wanted. Brute force wasn't going to get him through everything so easily and this seemed to be the first time that such was happening for him. However, now as he stopped somewhat tired from his constant assault against the wall he deactivated his armor.

The wind around him just seemed to fade away and his heavy breathing gave off the impression that he might be to exhausted and his armor had become to difficult to keep active. Whether or not Kaze had been planning it or not a few moments after his armor disappeared the walls stopped moving inwards. Instead the wall that was on his right side started to tremble for a moment. In the next instant the wall would change seeming to jump outwards turning into think spikes that would pierce Kaze if he couldn't react fast enough.

While all of that happened though there was still the matter that the Shinigami had invaded the Rogue hideout. Most of them didn't have much combat experienced and had been sent out without actually expecting to deal with something on this scale. Thankfully the one individual that had been experienced had sent out a Hell butterfly prior to entering the cave. He had seen that Kaze was entering and while he was confident that he could handle the Mod Soul he wasn't that his men would all survive.

So requesting back up from Soul Society had been accomplished prior to any of the fighting. Now the reinforcements seemed to be entering into the human world just outside the cave entrance. Whoever emerged would be able to sense the large amount of spiritual activity happening underneath the ground and inside of the cave. They'd have to enter through the same way that Kaze and the other Shinigami had eventually finding that difference in direction as the tunnel split apart. They'd have to either turn left or right like the Shinigami. Kaze had caused the hole to collapsed making that entrance no longer accessible. Would it all matter though? Would this Shinigami be able to capture/kill the Rogues or would they die along with all their allies.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

The green haired shinigami made her way towards the senkaimon, a hell butterfly hovering over left shoulder repeating her orders yet again, "I got it, I got it already. Be quiet," she chided, cutting of the message. She was going to the World of the Living, someplace she actually hadn't been a decently long time, her rank, ironically, kept her closer to the seireitei then when she was unseated, the larger threats tended to be in or around soul society she the higher ranks were the ones to deal with them.

The stepped through the portal and found herself in front of a cave, she didn't know much about where she was and she knew just about as much as why. The extent of her knowledge was that some rouges had taken this cave as some kind of hide out and that there was a mod soul on the scene as well, though she didn't know what faction he belonged to, but that mattered little, she she had to dispatch him along with the rouges she would do so.

As she stepped towards the cave entrance she felt some fairly large quantities of spiritual activities going on throughout the cave, but she couldn't exactly pinpoint anybody or thing in particular. Chances were that the squad that had requested reinforcements had made contact with some enemies, which meant that they might be in some trouble. She took her blade out from its sheath on her back and darted into the cave, partially to make sure that her allies were okay, partially so that she could join the fight before it was over.

Eventually she reached a fork in the cave and she had a choice to make. Her energy sensory wasn't good enough to rely on to try and find her allies so she was left going with her gut. She debated for a quick moment and decided to right, hoping to find an enemy soon. She was itching for a fight more than usual, she may have been on enemy territory, but she had the home turf advantage and she wanted to use it.

The Shinigami that had arrived a few moments ago had wasted no time rushing into the cave in order to try and meet up with those that had called in for her aid. She had come to the fork in the cave far faster than the previous Shinigami due to her running entrance and their caution. Now though she had to choose which way to go either left or right. She didn't take much time or simply didn't put much thought into the decision as within a moment or two she immediately turned right and started to go down the tunnel.

She'd be able to run down the tunnel or proceed with caution depending on how she wished to continue, but the distance was going to be the same regardless of how fast she traveled. After roughly three hundred feet of tunnel with a few turns the Shinigami would find a corner and make the turn. When she did the scene would instantly change. The tunnel was dark made of brown dirt and sand along with stone so throughout all of it up until now everything had looked either tan or brown. Now everything looked red.

Half a dozen of the Shinigami that had been sent into the cave were now scattered around the tunnel lying dead for all that Yetsuna would be able to tell. The blood of the Shinigami was all over the tunnel forming puddles and layering the walls in red. A few were missing appendages and others were simply dead as their heads had been smashed to pieces. Whatever had done this wasn't something that could be ignored nor taken lightly if Yetsuna was going to survive.

She'd have to cross through the horrific aftermath of a battle that had been fought here. As she passed through the bleeding hallway though she'd get about half way when it seemed this foe decided to attack. The part of the tunnel where the blood began suddenly broke apart or more correctly was broken from below by what could only be described as black tendrils. They were a few inches thick while being several feet in length. Five of them could be seen however counting wouldn't be a concern as they began to rush Yetsuna closing the distance of thirty feet within a few moments. Each tendril seemingly getting indefinitely longer and moving at a speed of 250. If Yetsuna didn't do anything then she'd be dead as a tendril would peirce her limbs and chest killing her.

Yetsuna continued her way down the tunnel when she came across an all to familiar scent: Blood. A half dozen options about what it could be ran through her mind in an instant, each equally as likely as the last, but she had a feeling in her gut that told her what it was. She continued down the tunnel, having picked up her pace slightly in case her hunch was correct, until she rounded the corner, and was blindsided by the scene before her.

Blood was literally everywhere, the walls, the ceiling, and large puddles on the ground as well. Several bodies were on the ground, some missing arms, others legs, a few were evening missing their heads. The green haired shinigami was almost physically sick by the display, she had seen her fair share of carnage, but this was an entirely different level. The only thing she could think of that could even do this kind of thing was a hollow, but they don't leave bodies, and a normal hollow couldn't have taken out this many shinigami solo.

Suppressing her bile she begin to check for survivors, though she didn't really hold her breath on the fact that any of them were still going to be breathing. While she investigated she could also look at the wounds inflicted on her comrades for any hints or signs of what had occurred, like was a weapon used or were their limbs literally torn from their bodies by brute force. As she began to make her way through the bloody field she could feel the sickness slowly being replaced with anger, partly at the monster who did this, partly at herself.

The blood seemed fresh, which meant the attack had only occurred recently, so if she had been faster about arriving initially she might have been able to save them. Plenty of allies had died in her years as a shinigami, but the fact that so many could have been saved from such gruesome deaths if she had only arrived a few minutes sooner ate at her. She was going to find the culprit and they were going to taste steel.

As she began to walk towards the fourth body the ground behind her gave out with a loud crash and she found herself face to face with some tentacle looking things. She could tell that there were multiple tendrils, but before she could get an accurate count they lunged at her. They moved fast, but so did she so by the time they reached her old position she was already a few dozen yards back. She didn't know what was attacking her, but it's proximity to the battle ground, and likely bolstered by whatever wounds she found on the bodies, told her that this was the creature responsible for the carnage. 

As her feet made contact with the ground once more she would throw her blade towards the caves wall with a cold and mildly angery, "Sunder." Her blade would disappear into the wall as though it were immaterial and after a heartbeat the cave walls around her would slam together with her in the middle. A split second after the cave walls enveloped her they would crumble away and the shinigami would stand there in her armor, sword in hand, "Ishio," she'd pause for a moment, "You the thing that killed my friends back there?"

The creatures answer, if it even gave one, would matter little, Yetsuna was ready for a fight, and unfortunately for what this thing was, it made the mistake of attacking her.

It seemed that the Shinigami that had just arrived in the cave system was more capable than the majority of those that had been sent in first. In truth those Shinigami barely had what one would expect to be a Shinigami. Once they had passed the academy they had believed that was it for them and stopped trying to make themselves more powerful. It had cost them their lives and that's why only a few now were alive in the cave somewhere else more than likely fighting a foe that this Shinigami didn't know about.

She was able to get away from the black tendrils and prepare her own counter against them as she released her zanpakuto. As she did the cave seemed to wrap around her forming into some sort of armor around her body. So the Shinigami was ready to take on what she believed to be some sort of creature that had killed all of her allies. Well she was sorely mistaken on her information. This entire cave was filled with Rogues that had access to a fair bit of their Bakkoto's power.

Each of them was powerful in their own right and all of them had banded together to look out for one another against the pursuit of Soul Society. Now one of Soul Society's lap dogs was in their cave looking to do them harm. So these black tendrils weren't a creature no mere hollow, but instead the ability of a Bakkoto that one of these Rogue's was using from some unseen place. In fact the Rogue was simply down the hallway roughly twenty feet behind Yetsuna and to the left. Her hand pressed against the cave wall sending the black ooze into the earth itself.

As Yetsuna was prepared to fight the tendrils that were in front of her suddenly the ground behind her feet would crack and four inch thick tendrils would burst forth. They'd move quickly upwards to wrap around Yetsuna's ankles. As that happened the tendrils that were in front of Yetsuna wrapped around one another turning themselves into what looked to be a long black javelin. If she didn't do anything the javelin would rush forwards at a speed of 450 and carry with it a force of 450 that'd smash into her chest.

No response. It seemed whatever was attacking her seemed content to keep to themselves, that or they were trying to keep their exact location hidden, either way Yetsuna would find a way to deal with them. A moment after her release materialized several more tentacles burst up from the ground and wrapped themselves around her ankles in an attempt to immobilize her. At the same time the original set of tendrils had meshed together into some sort of projectile.

The green haired woman saw the projectile, but had almost no time to come up with a good response, so she fell back on instinct. As the javelin closed in Yetsuna materialized a stone wall in front of her, tall and wide enough to completely conceal her person behind it and of decent thickness, so even if it could break through its 510 durability the blow would be softened greatly. At the same time she would attempt to break the grapple she was in by causing the earth around the tentacles to compress with a great force in a attempt to severe them.

Free of the tentacles grasp her mind would turn to finding her real opponent, those tentacles had to be coming from somewhere. Then she felt someone elses reaitsu nearby, not even 10 yards in front of her. The shinigami would let the wall she had generated turn into sand and fall to the ground as she used a shunpo to move around the tentacles that lay on the other side. For a moment she thought about causing the cave to collapse on them, but considering how they had broken through the ground so easily twice already it would likely just be wasted effort. 

Yetsuna shunpo would end near the source of the reaitsu, but she wasn't adept at tracking accurately so it would take her a brief moment to actually find the rouge hiding around the corner with her hand on the wall. Face to face with her attacker, the shinigami's blade would turn to sand and she would attempt to strike the woman in the nose. The 510 punch would be more than enough to knock the girl off of her feet, and possibly out of the fight, depending on whether or not she could roll with a hir or not.

The black tendrils had been able to reach up and wrap themselves around the ankles of this Shinigami and now the first tendrils to appear had formed into a weapon that was rushing towards her. It was possible that her stone armor could save her, but the chances of it protecting her against all of the force was slim so the Rogue thought. That's why when cave floor seemed to rise up from in front of Yetsuna the Rogue wasn't all that surprised. From what Yetsuna had done so far it seemed rather obvious that her Zanpakuto had dominance over earthly material.

The black javelin like weapon that the tendrils had formed into smashed into the stone wall and caused only a small crack in the dense barrier. It seemed that this Shinigami was vastly more prepared, power and experienced then those that had been sent in prior to her. The Rogue was though surprised when the wall suddenly came down. In the next instant the green haired Shinigami suddenly was standing right near her. In the single instant that it took for the two girls to find one another both were trying to obtain victory.

In the brief moment that it took for Yetsuna's sword to turn into sand and for her to prepare herself to punch the girl in the face this Rogue was also already hard at work. Stepping backwards and speaking the incantation to a kido that she relied on often without thinking. "Rise, slumbering god! Crack across the earth and release your sleeping fury to those who would defile your infinite plane with their step!" After she had thought the words in her hand her right hand extended outwards towards the Shinigami in front of her now.

Just as Yetsuna would extend her fist almost making contact with the Rogue suddenly the earth below them would be fired upwards right at Yetsuna. The earth took the form of fists that would rise out of the ground and slam into Yetsuna around her stomach. Each fist had the durability and hitting power of 563. Even if they couldn't get through the stone armor that this Shinigami was wearing they would at least force her backwards so that the Rogue could attack once more.

Technique Name: Hado #57: Daichi no Tenyou (Revolving Dance of the Earth)

Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Earth

Technique Description and Effects: An offensive technique using the very earth around the user, Daichi no Tenyou is cast by sending Reiatsu into the ground and breaking it apart. Large fragments of rock varying in size from fist-size to half the size of a person rise from the ground and are fired at the target designated by the motion of the user's hands. These rocks, infused with the user's Reiatsu, possess the user's RS for durability, and require superior offensive stat to cut through. Even the shards from a broken rock can slash through the target though, so caution is required in countering this technique.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

It seemed that Yetsuna's defensive ploy had succeeded and the makeshift javelin struck her stone without much effect. What's more Her gambit to sever the tentacles around her ankles worked as well, it didn't seem like they were overly strong or durable. Now free Yetsuna located her targets rough area and used a shunpo to get their before they could attack her again. The shinigami wasn't exactly expecting to be face to face with a female though.

The rogue seemed to be surprised that she had been found so quickly, or maybe it was just the light making her seem like that. Something told Yetsuna that this girl wasn't likely to talkative type, the fact she had attacked from the shadows rather than making herself known was the biggest factor. The fact the female had done that wasn't really a point in the girls favor either, Yetsuna liked people who met their opponent head on instead of trying to attack from the shadows.

Needless to say the shinigami didn't have too many qualms about trying to take her out of the fight quick. She didn't want to kill her, at least not yet, she wanted some information, like how many more rogues there were. Yetsuna let her stone blade fall to sand and began to charge at the girl, her first clenched and ready to connect, but the girl didn't seem intent on standing still for her and began to take a few steps back.

As she moved back the shinigami would see a chance to literally trip the rogue up. The green haired girl would make a section of earth appear behind her, roughly reaching up to her mid calf, that would cause her to fall over. While the girl began to fall Yetsuna was already preparing her next attack. All of the earth she had summoned would quickly move down the tunnel and towards the rogue, and as he back hit the ground the sand would envelop the girls entire body, except for her head, and re-solidify into stone.
