The Bandit did retaliate like she thought he would, but not exactly in a way she would have guessed. If she had blinked she would have missed it; the man reached out and grabbed one of the pant legs of her uniform and threw her towards her ally. By sheer reaction she stabbed her sword into the ground to act as a break. The sword bit into the ground and sent a painful vibration slowing her considerably, but not enough.
The blade caught hard on a large rock that was beneath the surface and jerked Yetsuna's arm roughly, causing more pain and her to lose her grip on the sword. The hit the ground with a hard thud and tumbled several feet before she could get her feet under her again and slide to a halt, and sending one final shot of anguish through her foot and up her leg.
Sweat was beginning to drip from her now dirt covered brow; she was beginning to wear down. She had been in fast-paced fights before, but to shunpo so many times consecutively was tiring. That coupled with trying to mentally shelve the pain in her foot and the new pain in her arm she was getting fairly close to her red line. But she couldn't stop yet, the fight wasn't over and neither was she.
She drove her fist into the ground quickly before charging at her zanpaktou, grabbing it with her right hand. She could see Yvet holding the bandit leader, but she doubted that he was going to be captured that easily. She stood in her battle stance several feet off from the two men, watching the bandit closely, but also taking the time to try and catch her breathe and lower her heart rate a bit.
