Body Guards On The Run

Well it seemed that these Shinigami weren't ones to fear action no matter who they were fighting based on what they saw coming at them. As the green haired female managed to get up onto the branches against eh blonde haired assassin Shinigami that had managed to take out both of the archers it seemed that the blonde was able to move. She didn't try to get away though like most instead she went with the opposite and immediately tried to end the battle that was about to ensue between the both of them. As she stepped forwards into the guard of the green haired bandit the girl sneered angrily.

The bandit knew that she was in trouble and that she wouldn't be able to stop spinning now that she had built up momentum. However, as Shizu drew her wakashi the bandit heard the noise and knew that she had to do something. If she was going to be taken out here then the least she could do was help out one of the others before it happened. She leaned to the side and using all her might she saw her target and threw the axe in her right hand from behind the blonde Shinigami. The axe would suddenly be far away from the both of them and would be soaring through the air.

In that next moment though Shizu executed shunpo and there was a loud thud. The green haired bandit had been stabbed, but not in the dead center of her gut. That small moment of leaning had sent her angle slightly off from the plan that Shizu had thought of on the moment. Now there was a zanpakuto imbedded in the side of her gut penetrating her flesh and piercing through one of her kidneys. There was a massive amount of blood flowing from the wound down across the tree and the girl fought off the urge to cry and scream in pain.

Instead she used the pain to fuel her rage towards the Shinigami. Her right hand enclosed around Shizu's wrist that held her zanpakuto and squeezed. Her incredible strength was all being used to try and crush the grip of this Shinigami and as she did so the bandit sneered again right in her face. "Horrible people like you should all just die." It was in that next moment that the bandit would attempt to smash her forehead into Shizu's face. Shizu would have to do something fast in order to break free from the hold of the bandit or else she was going to suffer a horrific injury.

While all of that went on it seemed that the green haired Shinigami was feeling up to the challenge of taking on two bandits at the same time. Being confident in her own abilities the girl didn't seem to fear them. In the first few moments the girl vanished and then managed to knee the bandit wielding a short sword and danger in his solar plexus. The bandit felt all of the air in his lungs leave him and began to fall forwards. As that happened though the other bandit that was with him turned towards him.

It was in that next moment that the Shinigami hit the bandit in the back of his neck knocking him the rest of the way to the ground. However, when she moved to slash at the bandit the mace was already in swinging motion towards her. In that next moment the weapons met and the mace was overpowered by the strength of the little Shinigami girl. The bandit couldn't believe what had just happened as his muscles were overpowered. In that next moment though Yetsuna would find herself in trouble as a knife suddenly pierced throw her left foot and into the ground.

Her foot had been stabbed clean through in the middle both vertically and horizontally and now blood would be seeping from it. The bandit that was at her feet grinned as blood flowed from his mouth. The one that wielded the mace had seen what happened and now rushed forwards holding his mace with both hands at his side as he swung aiming to strike her in the torso. While that happened two other bandits seemed to draw their weapons and move towards the old woman who still stood quietly in what one would only assume to be a way to keep the attention away from her.

The bandit did turn and attempt to stab him in the gut, but it was useless. The bandit would find that his attempt to stab Yveltal would only be met with his own failure due to one simple thing, cutback. Yveltal's spiritual pressure was so much greater than that of the bandit's leader that the moment the tip of the knife came into contact the push back from his body would happen. Yveltal would be fine, however the bandit leader's arm would be covered in lacerations as a penalty for even thinking that he could attack him.

Yveltal wasted no time, while the bandit leader was more than likely trying to recover from finding out that his attack failed horribly. Yveltal moved to grab onto the man's bleeding wrist. With his full strength he held onto the wrist, not letting go, nor letting the man have a chance to pull his arm away. The bandit leader was his, and he was going to have some fun punishing the man. He took in a deep breath getting ready to unleash what he had in mind. From his mouth he let out a scream, but not the normal ones that most did when in fear or when having fun. No this was the wail of a banshee coming out from his lungs hitting the bandit leader directly and around his entire body.

The attack was instant, there was no warning, no chance of escape not with the bandit's arm being held by Yveltal. The scream would be deafening to the bandit being so close, however those in combat around Yveltal would still hear it. Those that weren't deafened by the screams would hear it clearly. The sound coming from his mouth was an anguished scream of terror that had an ethereal vibration with an unearthly echo. It wasn't something that the others would just be able to block out upon hearing it. For like in the myths, the banshee's wail foretells death.

Yveltal wouldn't stop his wail, the bandit leader would have to deal with being constantly bombarded by it. Made worse by the fact that the wail it's self wasn't just sound it carried weight. Sound was a deadly thing when it has power, the constant bombardment of sound waves coming from the screams would start to take their toll on the bandit leader's body. Even if the outside of his body wouldn't be damaged, there was no way to keep his insides from being safe. No matter how hard someone trains their body, they can never train their internal organs they will always remain squishy and weak.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

The first part of Yetsuna's attack went off without a hitch, though the second half not so much, and from the looks of it things were going to be getting worse. Yetsuna had managed to knock away the second bandits mace single handedly, telling her they weren't very strong physical, but immediately after she felt the familiar tingle of steel going into her flesh. The first bandit was somehow still conscience despite 2 back to back knockout blows.

She felt the dagger bite into her foot, it hurt, but she had definitely felt worse, all this guy had really managed to do was annoy her. The man pulled the dagger from her foot as was getting ready to stab it again, but before he could she would slide her foot back and bring her blade on his lower back severing his spine and cutting him almost clean through unless he had some special method of escaping her attack. The second bandit charged her as she struck his friend, he held his mace in both hands; he was easy to read, he was going for her torso. 

Yetsuna jumped back making the man miss his swing at her chest, and she retaliated with a swing of her own. Her blade was still close to the ground when she jumped back, she had not yet raised it after striking the first bandit; so she rotated her wrist so the blade faced upwards. In a single long upwards stroke she would slice across his body, right hip to left shoulder, likely severing one, if not both of his hands/arms in the process. The attack wouldn't be deep enough to cut the man in half, not that she wanted to do that to begin with, but it would be deep enough to cut into the muscles and a few ribs.

Regardless of whether or not her strike hit its mark she would have no choice but leave the mace wielder alone; 2 more bandits were gong for the old lady. "Fuck me...." she thought to herself lightly as she gathered the reaitsu at her feet for another shunpo, "Those guys just don't know how to give a girl a break do they?" Her allies may have had the tougher opponents, but she was fighting some fairly against some fairly uneven odds, not that she minded.

She could feel the blood from her foot pooling on the ground, the guy had gotten a half decent shot at her, but it wasn't slowing her down at all, those looking at her likely wouldn't even be to tell she was injured unless they saw the red sock. Yetsuna executed another shunpo, appearing behind the bandit who was farther behind. As she reappeared she would drive the tip of her blade through that bandits back, aiming for the heart. If the strike kills him she will take the sword out of him, letting the corpse fall before dashing left. If it doesn't she'll pull her blade upwards, causing it to go up through and exit the body before moving to the right 90 degrees. 

[Shizuyoko Toraumi]

Shizuka was a little surprised that the woman decided to grab her wrist. Normally enemies tried to turn around before attacking, but it seemed this individual had other plans. Shizu's eyes narrowing slighly as she watched the woman's bodyb egin to twist in order to face her. Of course if they twisted to their left they would get nowhere, as her hand moved around their right, and assuming they kept their grip, shizu woulc just be pulled as they spun so that she would remain behind them.

Thus the Bandit's only real option was to try and turn right in order to face her. Shizuyoko furrowing her brows as she felt that grip on her wrist, causing her to release the zanpaku'to she'd buried in the woman's gut. However as they pulled, she immediately twisted her own body, leaning back and opening up the entirety of the bandit's upper body so that she was out of the way of what happened next. Her tail stealthily slipping up to grab the blade of her Otachi.

A mere instant later, along with a flash of blinding metal and that tail would ship about, that blade sweeping to chop not only the bandit from left hip to right shoulder, curving slightly so as to pass through the heart on the way up, but also chopping the tree on the other side. Another one of her tails slithering out to retrieve her wakizashi as the shunpo Karin was used to effectively end the woman. Even if she HADNT been using her stealth with those tails, she was, during the instant of the attack, directly behind them. And with that grip on her wrist, it was guarenteed the woman wouldn't be stepping to evade. And the attack from behind was almost guarenteed.

Presumably with the hand around her wrist going limp as a result of the bisecting, Shizuyoko would slam her wakizashi into the stump of the tree as the rest of the massive fern crashed down, because of the upward angle of the slash, the tree would fall towards her, and directly down towards the leader and Yveltal, who was the closest. Though she doubted that would do anything but scatter the pair of them. Her first priority was to re-stealth and get out of plain sight.

Well it seemed that the group of bandits was starting to lose to the few Shinigami that had been sent in order to protect the old woman on the way to the shrine. In truth the bandits were only looking to make what little profit they could in order to continue on living. Most of them had nothing and thus had to band together in order to survive. The Shinigami had stripped the people of the Rukongai districts of everything. Even those districts that held nothing didn't get any kind of protection from the horrors of what was out there in the wilds. There leader had been the signal of strength for them all and how were they going to face him now.

They were failing and it didn't seem like they'd be able to turn this around by themselves. The blond Shinigami had just managed to dispatch the green haired female killing her in a harsh way that any of the bandits who actually saw it wished they could take the place of. That girl had been so joyful and a shining star among them all. When there was trouble on top of trouble she had always been the bright smile that got them through it. Now she was gone and with her the hopes of the rest. The bandits that had been surrounding the old woman and the green haired Shinigami began to make their way for the trees.

While that was happening it seemed that the green haired Shinigami was able to hold her own. Even after being stabbed through the foot she was persistent fighting off the pain and ending the life of that bandit. She didn't waste any time with dispatching the other one that wielded the mace either. In the next moment she executed a shunpo to catch up and dispatch one of the only three remaining bandits that planned on continuing this battle. That bandit had held no way of being able to understand what was going to happen and his life was ended in that following moment.

The one that was left though turned as his ally was killed. This bandit had two long swords at his disposal one in each of his hands. He was ready for whatever the Shinigami girl was going to try and do to kill him. He was well trained and had been able to survive countless battles this little girl wasn't going to be the entity to take him down. While that happened the assumed to be leader of the bandits was having a difficult time with the large Shinigami that had red hair.

His knife had only managed to draw a slight amount of blood as the tip was the only thing to breach the skin of the Shinigami. However, his own arm suddenly burst with blood and he realized that he had made a drastic mistake. In hat next moment everything started to go wrong and the Shinigami began to scream. The pain that the man was feeling was one of the worse sensations that ever been placed upon his soul. After the few moments that it took the man passed out and the battle was all, but completed. Only the single bandit that faced off against Yetsuna was left.

[Shizuyoko Toraumi]

Well....it had worked.... Now properly hidden again, Shizuyoko had the upper half of the woman with her. Staring down at the woman who was....well...either dead or dying. She knelt there for several moments, looking at the girl's face. Eyes closing slightly as she took a soft breath in through her nose. So this was going to be her job now? This......nothing but this. The weight in her stomach suddenly increased as she looked down at the dead/dying bandit. She wondered....vaguely, what her name was.

Looking them over, she wasn't sure what to do with them. Throwing them on the ground seemed...disrespectful. Not only that....but she had to go back to helping the others. She just....didn't have time to sit here....mourning the loss of the pretty young woman. Gently, she reached into her pocket, pulling out a little ring woven from twisted bits of grass. It was a pathetic little thing. Ricky and her made them all the time, primarily because Ricky liked to chew them.

So....as it was the best she could do.... she just set it in the girl's hand. Not sure what she could do....in so very little time. She glanced toward the others. At the moment she should be taking note. Watching the fight. She was a little achy from so much high speed movement. Rather than risk exhausting herself she remained in the shadows with that soon-to-be-corpse. It was strange....how detatched things were. As an arrancar, she consumed everything she killed. It became a part of her. Like some sort of communal gathering. But now what happened to those she killed?

Nothing.... And somehow, it felt very empty in comparison.

As the howl continued out bombarding the bandit leader Yveltal saw. He saw the man pass out and become dead weight under his howl. Yveltal stopped, still keeping a grip on the leader's wrist. The leader was blacked out and wouldn't be able to do anything, but Yveltal still needed him alive. He needed answers, but he didn't need the man unharmed. Raising his foot up off the ground he slamed the heel of it into the tibia of the bandit leader's left leg, shattering it. If the bandit leader woke up, he wouldn't be able to run away, and if he tried to put up a fight Yveltal could slowly break him down now that the man was crippled.

Turning his attention back to the old lady and Yetsuna he wanted the kitten back, but he saw that there was still one last bandit to deal with. His hand grabbed the collar of the bandit leader's shirt, lifting him up off the ground Yveltal shumpoed right behind the last living bandit. In a flash Yveltal's free hand wrapped around the back of the man's neck. Yveltal lifted the bandit by his neck, his fingers keeping a tight grip on the man's neck to make sure that he wouldn't do anything. Looking at Yetsuna he spoke, “we're getting answers from these two.”

Yveltal dropped the bandit leader face down on the ground and proceeded to step on the unconscious man's back with one foot. Pinning him down. While the other bandit was held up in the air by his neck with Yveltal right hand. With his free left hand he grabbed the tip of the pinky on the right hand of the bandit and crushed the tiny bone in it.Only after they snapped did he finally speak to the bandit. “Tell me why this old lady. You have plenty of bones for me to break, and I have all day.” Yveltal was going to make this as painful for the bandit as possible, if the leader woke up, well Yveltal would do the same to see what he would say. Either way the bandit's weren't going to get a painless death.

In less than 10 seconds she had killed 2 men, severely damaged another, and all she felt was pity and anger. Those men were likely trying to get by, they had enough spiritual power to feel hunger, but not enough to join the academy. Because of this they had turned to crime to survive. Yetsuna felt for them, she had grown up in the western 80, she had know some of the struggle those men had gone through, but she had been given an escape because of her high spiritual power.

At the same time, however, she felt an anger towards them. When she was a child she had stolen to get by, she had never been shy about sharing that fact, but she had never physically hurt anyone when she did. If those men had only stolen to get by that would have been one thing, but those men hurt people to get what they wanted. They had chosen to help themselves at the cost of their fellow man, and she found that unforgivable.

The men she had slain had decided to chose the greater of evils when presented with a choice of what to do, and for that she didn't feel a large amount of remorse for their deaths, though it did leave a somewhat bad taste in her mouth. One man remained, and she was about to address him when the red-haired shinigami grabbed him. She was about the speak when she saw him break his finger. 

Yetsuna immediately stepped in, she wasn't going to let Yvetal torture either of those men. Torture to her was evil, barbaric, and overall unnecessary. Those men were also unlikely to yield any useful information, torture or no.  "Question him without torturing him or release him now," her tone was a hard break from her warm and joking self, she was cold and flat. She wasn't joking about this and she was obviously ready to fight over it as well.

Well it seemed that everything had been handled and the bandits were now in no position for victory. All of them were either running for cover and safety in the woods or had suffered wounds to vast for them to continue. Some of them were dead and by that obviousness wouldn't be able to aid the still living. That meant that this encounter was finished. Well that's what would normally have been the case yet in truth the true threat was just arriving.

The bandit that the red haired Shinigami had defeated and all of them believed to be the leader was in fact only the second in command. Now as the two Shinigami that were still on the path and had started to argue kunai flew through the air. It was in that next moment that the life of the remaining bandits were ended by the kunai that had been thrown. The foreheads of them all had been struck as blood sprayed from the wounds an aura washed over the area. An aura that would make all shutter as he stepped onto the path.

He was only a few meters from the male and female Shinigami and on his face was a emotionless stern look. Long blue hair in a kimono with a katana at the left side of his waist. Obviously he had more weaponry on him than just the katana due to him being the thrower of the kunai. "Well guess I'll have to start this whole gang over again. You're going to pay for making all my hard work for nothing." In that next moment his right hand rushed upwards and from it a kunai soared through the air. It wasn't moving towards either of the two on the path. The kunai was set to strike the blonde in the back.

[Shizuyoko Toraumi]

Eyes went wide when that impact was felt. She had not been paying attention, her eyes having been focused on the deceased young bandit. So when that kunai was let loose she was not even aware of it until that sharp pain sank into her back. Her eyes going a bit wide as the punctuated sound of the kunai impacting flesh filled the otherwise-quiet air. She swallowed hard, her heart suddenly pounding away in her chest as she slowly looked down and clutched at her chest.

Slowly, she rocked from side to side, tears burning in her eyes before she dropped onto her side, biting her lip and shutting her eyes tightly as she hit the ground as stealthily as she could, hopefully as she landed on the ground, she would escape notice from the boss, hopefully he would lose her in the foliage as she lay there on the ground, her tails immediately abandoning the hiding place as they wrapped around her torso, Shizu doubling up as she bit down on one of those scaly appendages.

Already blood was starting to spill out onto the ground, though her legs were slightly numb. She was not yet sure if she should be getting up. If she got up and stumbled she might get shot at again, so she remained on that loamy floor, her insides burning with pain as she kept that kunai lodged in her back, not sure how close to her spine it had gotten, but at elast comforted that her tails could move. She was not paralyzed, that at the very least she could take solace in. But for now, she would not be participating in combat until she had had a bit of time to recover and gather her will.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

As she began to call out her ally for his barbarism two kunai flew past her, one by her head another by her legs, both hit the remaining bandits in the head, killing them beyond a doubt. Two thoughts went through her head. The first was the slight panic after a close call, chances were fairly high that if one of those had be aimed at her she would have been killed. The second was to immediately whirl around direction the kunai were thrown from to see who or what had thrown them.

Another bandit stood before them, the real leader this time, and evil flowed out of him like blood was flowing out of her foot. He was different from the bandits they had just fought, not only did he steal and hurt others, but chances were high he ENJOYED doing it. Unless he had a sick kid to take care of there was no chance she was going to feel bad about killing him if the situation called for it, though that would be easier said then done. She couldn't tell exactly by how much but she knew he was stronger.

The man talked and then flung two more kunai into the forest. It took her a moment to realize his target but by the time she figured it out she couldn't do anything, not that she likely could have in the first place. It was very faint, she almost couldn't hear it, but she heard the thud of a impact, and its muted tone told her that it had likely hit flesh. She couldn't tell how severe the other girls injuries where, she didn't even really know where she was, all she could do was hope she was okay and could might be able to get back in the fight.

She ran towards the leader, every step on her left foot shot some pain up her leg, but it was tolerable though she had to clench her jaw a bit. When she got within striking distance with her blade she would swing downward, cutting his right shoulder to the right side of his abdomen, but the blow won't make contact, even if he stays still. Just before her blow hits or his retaliation, whichever is sooner, she'll shunpo, not only behind but above. She'll reappear at the bandits 4 o'clock and about 7 feet in the air, blade in both hands in a cleaving motion. Her eyes watched him closely watching for his next move, because if he had one, she would need to react quickly.

“Piss off, I'll do whatever the fuck I want.” Yveltal wasn't going to take any lip from this female shingami. She wasn't a higher rank then him based on her uniform and she wasn't any stronger than him. There was no way in hell that he would take any form of sass from her. His hand was raised up to slap her back and into something when the kunais flew flying past the two of them killing both men he had been keeping tabs on. Someone had just silenced them to keep them from talking. He was pissed off dropping the now dead bandit he had in his hand to the ground.

Who had killed his prey? They were his to kill. His eyes gazed right at the new blue haired bandit. It seemed as if the one they thought was the leader wasn't the leader at all. Whatever Yveltal loved this, he relished in the idea of beating down someone else. Yveltal didn't say anything, as the bandit moved his hand so did he. His hands went to form cone around his mouth and as the kunai came flying out Yevltal's roar flew out as well. This time it wasn't a large cone that was in front of him, no this time it was direct line of sound heading right towards the leader. If he didn't move he would be hit by it, but that's what Yveltal wanted. He wanted the man to move, move so he could react to the actions.

The old woman that the Shinigami had been hired to protect on her way the shrine continued to stay behind the green haired girl and the red haired male. Only a moment had past since the kunai had been thrown by this new blue haired bandit and yet even the old woman had heard the sound of its impact on the blonde Shinigami that had been hiding in the trees. None of them knew how badly injured the girl was or if she was even still alive for they couldn't see her. All any of them would know was that they were in trouble now.

The actual leader of the bandits though was more than a league above those that the small group had been fighting up until now. They had all been nothing, but fonder compared to him. This man was different and he had been able to tell that the red haired Shinigami was inhaling and going to scream in his direction. He had seen the Shinigami's ability used on one of his subordinates only a minute or so ago. So it was easy enough to simple jump backwards out of the way of the attack.

The ground could cave inwards from the ability yet the bandit would be a few feet to the side now with his katana held in his right hand as a wide smile spread across his face. However, the green haired Shinigami was charging him and then he sensed her reiatsu spike. His smiled vanished and his eyes became dull with boredom. It was in that moment that the Shinigami vanished and then his hand was raised above his head. Clang! The zanpakuto of the Shinigami was stopped by the katana of the bandit holding his blade above his head horizontally.

"All of you are the same." In the next moment his left hand went to work grabbing ahold of the girl's pants and twisting his arm forwards the bandit threw her with his might towards the red haired bandit. While they were busy his prize was as good as captured. Suddenly he would be standing where the old woman had been only now she was held up off the ground by his left arm. She appeared to be unconscious, but why? What was going on?

[Shizuyoko Toraumi]

It seemed that this leader was definitely not something they would be able to deal with very easily. Even from where she was, she could tell that Yetsuna and Yveltal were having some issue, and soon she noticed that the male had EVEN managed to capture the old lady! A sudden pounding sensation filling her chest as she suddenly gritted her teeth, swallowing hard as she slowly began trying to force herself to her feet.

After a few moments she halted herself, pausing as she gauged the pain that lanced up her back, frowning as she stayed on the ground, her mind already chipping away. With this.....rest, she was able to feel the muscle strain starting to go away. She was going to let her muscles recover just a bit more. Additionally her body was already starting to deal with the wound in her back. She was feeling slightly better and if she felt, she was confident she'd be able to get back up and return to the battle.

Slowly, her tail snaked up her back and gently tapped at the kunai in her back. She'd leve it in for the time being, but she would need to remove it later to ensure she didn't get infected. But for now bleeding was the biggest issue she had to worry about, so in it stayed. With her attention shifting from one to the other, she found that Yveltal probably wasn't going to be able to just overpower this man. Already she was starting to formulate a plan. For now she would let him deal with Yvel and Yetsu. It was imperative that he continue to believe she was out of comission, and wait for a proper opening to attack.

The man and avoided his roar, but that was fine, him moving was what he wanted. Yveltal kept his focus on the man and waited till he moved. He saw that Yetsuna's attack had failed, but he didn't care. Yvetal's focus was only on the man he watched every single movement that the man made. So when Yetsuna came flying towards him and the bandit moved, Yveltal moved to the slide letting the female shingami fly past him. He wasn't about to be hit by her, nor was he going to save her he had other things on his mind.

The bandit leader was fast and did somehow sneak past him and grabbed the old lady, but Yveltal was one step behind the man. Using shumpo he appeared right behind the man and motioned to attack. His hands quickly went to wrap around the throat of the man from behind. Yveltal wasn't going to give him any chance of getting out. His hands crushed down with most of his strength. He held back just a bit, but the amount of force being applied to the neck of the man would be more than enough to crush his neck under his hands.

Yveltal wasn't going to leave his hands to do all the work The very moment his fingers wrapped around the neck of the man he jerked the man backwards. His right knee rose up and slammed right into the center of the man. The sound of the man's spine snapping would be heard throughout the forest. Oddly enough Yveltal would be silent.
