Location: Immediately outside of UE's main building, four of UE's primary fighters stand ready to fight the oncoming foe. The God of Murder has come calling, and he intends to commit what's known as a Hostile Takeover. Of course, this is less of a corporate meaning, and more of a "I'm going to kill you and take your stuff" meaning.
Special Conditions: This is non canon, unless later decided to be canon. All players will be temporarily boosted to Class 1, full SP (although no TT bonus), Rank 4, and will be given 5 extra techs. Beyond that, they have no assistance.

Also, the players will be awarded TP normally by the end of the fight, as well as a bonus 100 TP for every release that they force Satsujun to do (Level 1, Level 2, Secondary).

As the sun rose and light shinnied into the room that belonged to Siegfried he himself was no where to be found inside of the room. No instead he had been training long before the sun rose as he was use to getting up early for a morning spar with his old friends. No longer was he in the same time as them nor did he ever find a way to get back so for now it was up to the mechanical creations of his new king to offer up a worthy duel for the morning and so here he was deep underground facing off against three of what some called training bots. He couldn't help but wonder as to why people made such a fit when he broke them last time, if they're meant for training then they should be able to take a hit and break once they need replacing.

The training bots weren't on yet, they stood their lifeless before him human in shape, yet they held no soul, no passion, no joy or rage. They were truly lifeless tools to be used for training. As he studied them a bit longer he wondered how someone made something like this. His king was truly a genius wizard for being able to make such things to be used for simple combat. He knew that it would be so easy to turn these things on the world and conquer the world given that even with his amazing strength it still took a bit to break them down. A smile formed across his face as the mechanical men woke and charged towards him, his morning spar had begun.

As he charged to meet them he felt something inside of him awaken, something that had been sealed away for a long time, something that he had believed the lord had taken away from him for his failure in serving his first king, the blessing of god. It had returned to him, he could feel it, he felt the strength from it flow through his body just as it had the first time he had been given the blessing from his old king. He stopped mid charge as he felt the power of the blessing overwhelm him, for the first time in a long time a smile of happiness appeared on his face, to know that the lord had given him back his blessing was something to celebrate about, all this time he had felt powerless to fight against some of the stronger demons, but no longer, now that it was back he felt a new fire burning in his soul.

Taking a deep breath he released his power, from his arms two chains appeared, both with a dagger at one end and a serpent's head for the other end. With his chains in hand he smiled as he whipped them to strike at the mechanical men. His blades tore through them with ease as it hungered for the blood it was expecting to get from attacking something, but instead of blood a black liquid oozed out of the injuries he had inflicted. It wasn't the first time he had seen this sort of thing before, calling back he remembered that someone once called it oil. He knew that somehow that black liquid acted as blood for the mechanical creations made by modern men. He had hopped however that given it's similarities to how blood acts for humans that his blades could devourer it as well, but it seemed that his blades were picky eaters to what they wanted.

With his mechanical foes defeated and his chains now returned to him he felt invincible. This world had proven to be hard to adapt to given the lack of his weapons and knowledge, but now with his arms back in his hands he was one step closer in being a perfect knight for his king. “Tis a glorious morrow for me and my lord.” Kneeling down to one knee he held his hands together and lowered his head as he started to pray. “Our Father which art in heaven,Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth,as it is in heaven. I thank thy for granting I this blessing once more. Thy will is clear. Thy message sent, my ears hath heard it. With my life and my blessing I shall protect my king and his people. My body is his shield, my arms his sword, my actions his will. I praise thy for thy gift. Amen.”

With his prayer done he lifted his head and stood up as he did he felt his stomach rumble. In his eagerness to train he had forgotten to eat something when he woke up and now his stomach was telling him that he needed to eat something. This was a sign that his training for now was over, his hunger had to be sated before he could even think about pushing his body any further. Still he was happy with the fact that he had his blessing once more, so much so that instead of having it turn back into his arm bracers he kept them as his chains. However he knew better than to walk around with weapons exposed in this modern world, so he had the chains wrap around his chest and back covering them with his small cape and vest so that they wouldn't be seen by anyone as he walked around.

A few hours later.

The rest of the morning wasn't exactly too eventful for him, after eating he wished to speak with his king and tell him of the good news, however it seemed that he had to wait in line to speak with him. So there he was sitting down in a waiting room to have a turn to talk with his king, however it didn't look like he would be able to speak to him as quickly as he wanted to, sitting down as well were a bunch of noblemen dressed in black clothing and white shirts. They all had hard bags and something called a tie around their neck. It was a joyous sight to see so many noblemen wanting to speak to his king. So he simply bit his tongue and waited in silence for his lord to receive him.

Still as he waited he could feel the eyes of the noblemen look at him, he didn't like it. He felt as if they were judging him for his attire and the lack of armor he was wearing. Still no matter how much they looked he bit his tongue and kept quiet. It was better this way, he couldn't risk bringing any form of shame to his king by speaking out of term to a noble of this age, he wasn't sure as to where a knight fell in this modern day society, but from what he had seen it wasn't as high as before during his time. After an hour of waiting he was getting tired of just sitting down wasting the day away in this small room doing nothing. No longer pleased with sitting he stood up to look out the window to the outside world. Seeing it made him smile it never ceased to amaze him, the beauty of Karakura town early in the day. The amount of people walking around, the buildings reaching up high trying to touch the sky, even those darn mechanical dragons added to the beauty of the town.

As he watched from up above he felt it, something was coming towards the tower. Unlike anything he had sensed before it was moving fast and there was some odd feeling in his stomach that it was sinister. Showing off his blessing to his lord would have to wait, his duty to protect his king came first. He left the waiting room in a rush running down the stairwell. He knew that normally taking the elevator would have been faster, if he wasn't running at full speed down the stairs. As he stood there he noticed that he was not standing alone there in the front of the building, there were a few other members of UE beside him.

Technique Name: Bringer Flash

Technique Element: Movement

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): This technique was created in order to counter similar techniques, such as Shunpo Karin and Sonido Garra. My using the same concept as Bringer Light and focusing it on a single limb, one can move that single limb at 5x normal speed, for 50 reiatsu. Unlike the other variations, and just like the original version, Bringer Flash can continually gain speed upon repetitive use. The second use would bring the speed to 7x, at 100 reiatsu. The third use would bring the speed to 9x at 200 reiatsu. After this, each use brings the speed up by 1x as well as doubling the cost each time its speed is increased.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): By manipulating the souls in ones muscle they are able to force it to achieve a higher level of speed than before. This often leaves the users arm emitting green reiatsu like steam.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) The initial cost for this technique is 50, but for each use causes the price to double like the original Bringer Light. Secondly, if constantly used in the same limb the person will begin to experience muscle tearing. If used three times by the same limb the user will feel great pain in that limb as the muscles tear. If used two more times in the same limb the user will loose use in that arm for the remainder of the thread unless healed.

Technique Name :[Energy Generation]

Technique Element: Variable

Technique Description and Effects:
This is probably the hardest technique to use. It involves a physical body having to generate and output Reiatsu directly from the physical form. It costs an insane amount of stamina, and it's also very taxing. This technique is the only one that does not have a "default" version. All races except for mod souls can create extended "Reiatsu output" abilities, as long as they generate Reiatsu, and fire it off in some way. This is the requirement of these abilities. This technique can only be used by those who are Class 2 or above. It is the ultimate direct counter to Kido.

How to use technique: Generate Reiatsu from the physical form, and shape it in some way.

Drawback: Output techniques used in conjunction with this ability have a special condition. If anyone that is NOT a Level 3 Rank tries to use these techniques, it's a doubled cost from normal. That's how extremely taxing it is to use.

Technique Description and Effects: An ancient and powerful Energy Generate technique uncovered, Electrocution is a natural force using technique. This EG uses the raw power of electricity as its weapon, ravaging an enemies body as it is released from the hands or fingertips of its user. As the caster is only the conduit for the lightning, the EG does not rely on any of his physical or spiritual capabilities to perform. He simply needs the necessary Reiatsu to use it. Electrocution is a devastating Energy Generate as no force living or dead can withstand the effects of an electric shock. When the lightning strikes the target they will, typically, clench up and become immobilized as the pain of Electrocution courses through their bodies. Those struck by the electric shock are subject to the pain of high powered electricity. As mastery of the technique rises so does the power behind the electricity.
Learned - Upon learning the technique the user cannot fully utilize its power. At the Learned level, all the user can do is create a quick blast of electricity, a single and quick bolt that does nothing more than quickly immobilize and hurt the enemy. The bolt is quick, moving within the seven meter range of effectiveness in the blink of an eye. The immobilization caused by the bolt is quick fleeting, doing nothing more than stopping the target from performing an action (someone running would fall over).
Proficient - Proficient users of Electrocution are a force to be feared on the battlefield. As they practice and hone their talents with the technique they soon reach the level where they are no longer limited to a quick spark. Proficient users can release a steady stream of arcing bolts of electricity from their palms or finger tips for approximately three seconds. While only one target can be struck at this level, the power at this level is much higher than its Learned state. Immense pain is inflicted upon the target, causing either intense tension in the body as it freezes up or simply collapsing. While not as lethal as the Mastered version, this level of power is very useable in the battlefield. Unlike the former level, this one will even leave smoldering burns upon the victim's body where the electricity struck. Machinery relying on electric parts are easily and effortlessly disabled by Electrocution at this level.
Mastered - The most powerful level of this technique and only few have ever achieved. Upon becoming masters of Electrocution the user can easily gain the advantage on multiple opponents at once. The user can choose to release his technique from one or two hands, releasing multiple forked arcing bolts of electricity to attack around three foes at once. As the beams are forked they can jump between enemies, meaning one man can hit three people at once if they are close together. While only being usable for three seconds, damage done by this technique at this level is noticeable. Multiple, hindering burns will cover the victim's body, often leaving this a steaming mess. The electrical power this technique utilizes can easily immobilize a full grown man and even has enough power behind it to forcefully throw a man back. Continued and multiple exposure to this attack can cause someone to have cardiac arrest. If a person is struck by this level of technique just twice, their heart will give out.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Using the technique is rather simple. One simply focuses their reiatsu into their hands and imagines lightning. Its a technique that gives hardly any sign of its preparation, making it an extremely useful surprise attack.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) A technique this powerful requires equally powerful drawbacks, and this technique has its own hindering drawbacks that makes someone think twice before using it. As the user is using his own arm(s) as the conduits for the technique, constant exposure to such high amounts of electricity is damaging. While the Learned version of this technique is far more lenient than its other versions, it can still cause numbing in the hand using it if used four times within a thread without sufficient rest. The Proficient version is not so forgiving, however. The technique can be used safely twice before any of the limb damaging effects happen. Burning of the hands and arms is commonly seen after being used twice, as well as numbing of the arm that hinders its ability to be adequately used in combat. The Mastered version of this technique though is the most damaging. It can only safely be used once, and anymore runs the risk of permanently damaging the user. Effects of multiple use of the Mastered Electrocution are commonly sever burns running the entire length of the arm, partial paralysis of the using arm, and even the chance at a backfire and the technique turning on its user. The Energy Generate is also very taxing stamina wise.
It has other limitations as well. Electrocution only has an effect range of ten meters, meaning an enemy has to be relatively close for it to even be effective. A Pain Tolerance of 2 is strong enough to shrug off both the Learned and Proficient caused pain, but even a Level 3 is going to feel the Mastered Version of this technique. As this power is using pure electricity, it can be grounded by things that would normally ground electricity. Spiritual steel is able to partially block most of the power behind this attack, effectively halving most of the power but only if the target can block it in time. Both Hierro and Blut provide a natural defense against this technique.

Technique Name: Distortion Sakkaku: Harbringer

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):

Level 1: Harbringer - Harbringer is an inverted afterimage. Usually, those moving fast enough leave trails of their figures that quickly fade, but the visual effect is enough to confuse their opponent. However, Harbringer does the same thing in reverse. The user projects three or four images in front of him as he moves. The images will overlap slightly and fade as soon as he passes through them, but he must continue to project more images to replace them as he moves. This creates the same after image effect. However, the user will be in the rear of the trail rather than the front, where the opponent would expect. This protects him and, in fast-paced physical combat, he would be able to throw the opponent off with their timing when they aim for the first projection with the swing of a sword. However, the user may go a different direction from which he projects, making it appear like there are two different opponents.

How to use technique (How is it activated?):

Say the name of the technique and activate it.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)

The first drawback is the reiatsu cost. This technique requires 100 reiatsu per post to maintain. In addition, those with a combined total of 4 in the skills Illusion Resist and Focussed Eye would easily be able to identify the user’s location and can ignore the projections.

Technique Description and Effects:
This technique is one that makes use of the body directly, using the user’s spiritual strength to increase the body’s capabilities in specific ways. Like Willpower, this technique comes in stages as well, but is limited to two:

[Stage 1: Push]: This power coats the user in a sort of "Output Aura." It does two things. First, awareness can extend out by two more inches. This means someone will become more aware of an incoming attack two inches of distance from the attack earlier than normal. It means that one can try to use this to predict enemies, though not as successfully as actual prediction or reading. The secondary point expands "damage." Essentially, it bypasses defenses. A human using this is completely immune to cutback effect regardless of state, and this extends to weapon uses too. Hierro is also completely ignored during use of Push. This defense ignoring is only present during physical attacks. Reiatsu-based strikes can still meet Hierro resistance. This lasts for 5 posts, and costs 100 Reiatsu.

[Stage 2: Impact]: This stage can be used only for physical confrontation. When activated, hit strength quadruples. This means that one can activate it while punching an enemy. If the user has 200 strength, that strength will count as 800 during the instance of the punch. This is very physically draining, and quickly exhausts the body's nutrients. It shortens lifespan to use too often, and it weakens stamina very quickly. This lasts for 1 post, and costs 200 Reiatsu.

A shadow peered out into the distance as the sun began to rise over the Japanese skyline. The air was heavy with the type of apprehension only present in a warzone just as the battle was about to begin. This shadowy figure was perched at the top of the Uzaki Enterprise headquarters dawning a reiatsu-infused carbon-fiber plated suit. Everything he wore was black except for the V-shaped midnight blue streak across his chest. He could feel his steady heart beat on his necklace and pocket watch that were pressed tightly against his body by the suit.

Marcus hardly ever slept, and so he instantly responded when his Uzaki Enterprise communicator sent him a Red Alert. They were in trouble. Xcution had been threatening to wreck havoc on Uzaki Enterprise recently, and now it seemed like they weren’t kidding. Marcus received an urgent warning that he was needed at the Uzaki Enterprise headquarters where he was to act as a first line of defense. For someone who specialized in discreet missions, this was news. Uzaki Enterprise was truly in danger.

And so the Shadow of Uzaki Enterprise, Kazura’s Dark Knight, changed into his combat gear and rushed over to the skyscraper from his apartment all in less than a minute, where he took a position above the city to scout for the threat before he arrived. If Satsujun was truly the God of Murder, his entrance wouldn’t go unnoticed. He seemed like the type of guy who announced his presence with a bang, and Marcus would be watching and waiting.

[Jak Halcom]

Jak was already in front of the U.E. building ready to fight. He had heard of the growing tensions between U.E. and Xcution, and he knew perfectly well that it was only a matter of time before the dam finally broke and the worst Xcution has would be sent upon them. Jak could not have been happier. He has been eager for a fight with Xcution. He had been training for this day for years, and now it finally came. He was ready.

Jak wore his usual black leather vest over his bare chest. The scar over his heart clearly visible. He wore a pair of studded gloves and a pair of well worn, torn up blue jeans. The area around the knees were completely torn up and the dark blue material was now much lighter due to wear and tear. He wore a pair of blue and black sandals on his feet. His neck length black hair was pushed out of his face his crimson eyes ready to take on anything that was going to come. 

Jak could feel the man coming for them, and he did not like the feeling. Whoever it was was powerful, but that just made the wait all the harder. He had a mix of dread and anticipation in the pit of his stomach and he loved it.He had been training for this moment. Putting himself against everyone he could find to make himself stronger. He bounced form one foot to the other as he took a quick glance at the fighters that would be fighting along side him.

There was the strange knight man that he had fought earlier. He was glad that he had gotten stronger, and in fact kind of put their past transgressions out of thought. He really didn't hang out with the knight, but from what he had heard from around UE he had quite the story and people like Jak would have been an enemy on sight, so he could forgive him. The other fighter was unknown to Jak. He really didn't know him at all, but that didn't matter.

[Takara Takeda]

Takara at the moment was standing atop of the company skyscraper over looking Karakura town like she so often found herself these days. It seemed that since joining Kazura, Takara had been unable to actually leave Karakura town for any extended amount of time. There wasn't an entire lot for her to do at this location other then the occasional problem that could be handled by others who had far less of an importance. That was at least her opinion on the subject matter and the only thing that she was actually happy with was the fact that ?she had been able to meet a few of her people in the last month.

Looking out over Karakura town for some reason though seemed to calm Takara. It kept her inner need to rush towards her goal at bay. As if the look of this small town reminded her that life was precious and while her life was destined to be for the good of her race as a whole that she herself was still an individual and that she should take some time to enjoy it. Takara had no doubt in her mind that the time would come when she banded her race together under her and avenge all of the fallen that had been killed by Soul Society. It just wasn't at that point yet and for now she had to make due with what little she actually had present.

That was when all of a sudden Takara picked up the reiatsu signature of something incredibly massive coming right for the building. Whatever she was feeling was stronger then nearly anything else she had ever felt. There was only one other presence throughout her entire life that had emitted such a strength. What she was feeling caused sweat to form on her brow as she concentrated and came to the conclusion that it wasn't the Captain Commander of the Shinigami. Whoever this was it was a human yet one that could from what she sensed rival even the old man. Takara rushed from the roof into the elevator and made her way down to the front of the building.

When she was moving down through the building via the elevator Takara sensed the presence of a few other of UE's strongest employees. It seemed that she wasn't the only one that sensed or found out that something was coming for them. Stepping from the elevator at the base floor Takara turns to see the front of UE is defended by a tall strong looking man with black hair. A tall man with white hair and of course Jak. It was only a few moments after that, that Takara stepped through the doors and stood at the front a few feet to the side of the large dark haired male.

Technique Name: Time In A Bottle

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
The nature of artificial souls is a complicated one, and the way they interact and perceive the world around them can be disturbing at times. Given that they have to spend ungodly amounts of time inside of stuffed animals early on in their lives, Mod Souls can go into a state of semi stasis, ignoring the world around them. As they grow more powerful however, they can unlock the ability to reverse the direction of their perception of the outside world. Whereas before, they could let the world pass them by several times as fast, using this technique, they can observe the world several times the speed they normally could, slowing it down to a crawl.

Time In A Bottle is an advance technique that alters the Mod Soul’s perception of the flow of Time. In rain, they can note individual drops falling, and watch them fall as if they were feathers. People seem to be statues, and even Shunpo appears as a slow motion step forward. With this technique, the Mod Soul is capable of noting the beginning of a motion, and starting to react the second their opponent decides the way they will attack. This effect is unnerving, and can easily make the opponent believe that their mind is being read, when in reality it is their body. Mechanically speaking, this technique doubles the Mod Souls current Instinct. This alteration only applies to the perception of time and objects, and doesn't grant other bonuses associated with Instinct, such as empathy with animals or weakness sensing. For all other Instinct related things, the Mod Soul uses their actual instinct.

How to use technique (How is it activated?):
This technique is used by leveraging reitsu and altering the Mod Soul’s mind, effectively Overclocking their internal systems. Upon activation, the Mod Souls’ eyes dilate, and any breathing slows considerably.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
This technique doesn’t take effect instantly, and has a minimum “boot up” time of one post. The technique costs the normal amount of Reitsu for it’s class. Energy Sensory is decreased by 20% while the technique is active, as external Reitsu blurs together and becomes less defined as a side effect of the time dilation. This technique can be maintained up to 6 posts, but it’s drawbacks are more severe the longer it is maintained. Once the technique is ended, the Mod Soul must recalibrate their perception of time, reducing Speed by 10% per post the technique was maintained, ignoring the “boot up” post, for a number of posts equal to the posts that the technique was maintained. For instance, if the technique was used for the full 6 rounds, afterwards it reduces the Mod Soul's Speed by 60% for 6 posts.

This technique is a stepping move. It is unique compared to the others in its own way. The user uses a burst of Reiatsu to move one step. When moving they absorb the spirit particles along their path. This causes the step to increase in speed. The first half of this step uses an 8x increase. While using their own Reiatsu the user cannot change directions. However they can use the absorbed Reiatsu to propel themselves in different directions if needed during the second half of this technique, which is an 11x increase. This technique does not take up a technique slot.

How to use technique:
The user releases Reiatsu to move in a certain direction. While they move they absorb the Reiatsu around them. Then they use the absorbed Reiatsu to move even further. It costs 60 Reiatsu to perform one step. The user can pay 120 Reiatsu however during the second half of the step to REFRESH the step and propel in a given direction. This additional increase would give a 13x increase. During the second half of this step, the user can use the same option, this time for 240 Reiatsu, and a 15x increase, and so on. Essentially continue increasing speed by 2x each time for a doubled cost.

Drawback: Reiatsu cost and exhaustion. Continued doubling of cost. Continued doubling of strain, exhaustion, and muscle pull/wear.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique allows a Mod Soul to actually shutdown any of the five major senses. It can be activated instantly so long as they remain still and concentrate for a moment. It's possible to shutdown up to all of the senses at the same time. The way that this works is the Mod Soul's actual body the pill releases a small surge of reiatsu throughout the body that they're inhabiting at the moment which results in the sense of that body shutting down.

How to use technique: The user need only concentrate for a moment and mentally flip a switch causing whichever sense they're thinking of to shutdown.

Technique Drawbacks: This technique has a few drawbacks the first being that for each sense that is shutdown the user must pay 100 reiatsu and the overall Stat of Senses is reduced by 1/5. If a sense is shutdown for three consecutive posts the sense can't be reactivated unless the user concentrates without moving for a full post and pays 300 reiatsu. It should be stated also that if the Mod Soul is heavily injured or near exhaustion this technique can't be activated. If they're is in a state of incredible pain the same goes meaning that they can't shutdown the sense known as Touch in order to prevent themselves from feeling the pain that's being inflicted at the moment.

This technique has one simple function that makes it applicable several situations. Essentially, for the price of 100 reiatsu, it releases a pulse of reiatsu from the user that travels at a speed of 800 with a range of a quarter of a mile for ever 25 points in energy sensory. This pulse, however, doesn't do anything and can only be detected by an energy sensory of 100. It is intangible to all things physical and passes right through them, though any reiatsu barrier such as Bakudo #81: Danku or even flexing reiatsu strength blocks the pulse. If the pulse makes contact with any physical object infused with reiatsu, the user will automatically become aware of that person.

Not only is this technique useful for sharpening sensory abilities and staying aware of nearby spiritual individuals or objects, but it has analytical value as well. It also maps the reiatsu infused people and objects it passes through, giving the user a mental blueprint of their inner workings. He would know exactly how tall a person in, where each of their internal organs is placed, and where internal injuries may lie. He would understand the layout of a building constructed only with spiritual steel. He can see into the inner workings of a gun composed of reiatsu-infused metal.

Because of the analytical application of this technique, there is a possibility of the user simply being overwhelmed by the amount of data he or she collects. If there are more than 10 spiritually aware souls and reiatsu-infused objects that are larger than the size of an average person, the user becomes unable to pick out the information from pulse that he seeks during the heat of a fight. This can be ignored with skill points in Battle Focus, however.

Technique Description and Effects: By flowing reiatsu from the feet into the surface of whatever the user is standing on they're able to actually perceive the surroundings. It works much like an extension of the sense of touch allowing them to perceive everything at a greater clarity then even normal sight. It allows the user to see the movement of anything in contact with the same surface by feeling how their own movements are vibrating through the surface. This allows them to actually gain an upper hand by perceiving which movements are going to be made only slightly prior to the actual motion. Requires 400 senses to find the location of all things in the area even when moving. Requires 600 senses to get the basic outline of shape, while 800 is more refined. 1000 senses is wen the user can see everything in a clearer way then vision and react off the faintest of movements.

To explain how this technique grants the user a greater perception then that of even natural vision one must list an example. When standing on a floor in a house if this technique is activated they're able to feel the movements of every single individual in contact with the wood. The actual perception length that this technique grants is determined by the sensory stat. Every point in senses equals a foot in length. The technique works in a three hundred sixty degree manner. It allows the user to pick up on underground activity as well. The technique can be used to feel the physical details of pretty much anything.

How to use technique: One must simply release their reiatsu from the soles of their feet into the ground to begin this technique.

Technique Drawbacks: This technique is unable to pick up defining features such as writing or facial characteristics. The technique can only work while the user is on a solid surface meaning that even briefing removing oneself completely from such a surface results in the technique no longer being effective. Substances such as sand, mud or rubber cause this technique to be less effective by half percent in every regard. This technique can't function through water or air.

The perception of the technique can only perceive things that are in contact with the solid mass of whatever the user is funneling their reiatsu into. This means that the technique can't perceive the movements of someone standing on a separate solid mass unless there was a solid connection between the masses like the ground. It requires 25 reiatsu per post to keep active.

[Kazura Uzaki]

Kazura was in the Batcave, etching out some designs for some new Lacrima equipment when he heard the blaring Alarm echo across the cavern. He hesitated slightly, not surprised but rather saddened that matters had come to this. This was not the text message alert that spoke of Hollow activity, no, this alarm could only come from a direct threat to the company and its assets. Uzaki Enterprises and Xcution had slowly been growing more and more tense as they had begun to compete over the same resources and employees. Some employees had been recruited from Xcution, some had been lost to its Army as well.

One of the bigger skirmishes had been in the Soul Society over a shipment of artificial zanpakutou, which UE had obtained through an agent Xcution thought to be on their side. That had escalated issues for sure, and when Kazura kept the research gained from that shipment private, not releasing it to the Army of Assassins... only that could have pushed them over the edge. The alarm that kept blaring mentioned a Fullbringer entity whose power was off the charts was headed for Headquarters... To be fair, Kazura could only base the "charts" off of his own Spiritual Pressure and his employee's Reiatsu Strength, so anything above ~600 broke the charts.

But this was different...

This was no drill, no false alarm, this was a force of vengeance and murder headed towards them. Satsujun, sometimes called the God of Murder, was headed to tear Uzaki Enterprises to the ground. As Kazura geared up and ran through the portal back to the Land of the Living, he prepared to call his Board of Trustees to battle, but when he got out the front door, they were already there... Just as they should be. Reaching into his pocket, he brought out one of his newest gadgets, a Communicator that worked via thought... but he didn't have enough for the five of them... He was short one. With a shrug, Kazura worked to prepare his team for the fight of their lives.

"Men, and Woman, approaching us now is the biggest threat to our life that we will probably ever see. Compared to this, little much could compare. But, we are strong. We are resilient. And most of all, we are annoying. We continue to persist even when pushed down, and we won't stop now. Here, three of you can take one of these earpieces, which will allow the four of us to communicate through conscious thought. Who will volunteer to opt out of the circle? Item Description: This small tube is the size of a D battery. If it had the proper markings, it would look exactly like a D battery, though this tube is just a plain piece of metal. The positive end is made out of metal with a reiatsu strength of 1, and the negative end is made out of ordinary metal. Inside is mostly empty, save for a reiatsu enhanced fan. This difference in reiatsu and the fan are what grant it the powers it has. The emptiness inside is perfect storage for raw reiatsu energy. When the positive end is pressed into any spiritual being, touching the skin, the fan kicks in and draws reiatsu out of the body. 50 reiatsu is deducted for contact, and that is the limit that it can store. This reiatsu is capable to be released in slow portions, much like a battery. When it is empty, it can be recharged by placing it against another being with spiritual energy. The reiatsu inside obviously has the Reiatsu Strength of the victim. The reiatsu inside these batteries isn't usable for techniques, only as fuel for other technology. The cap for this battery is 200 RS. Anything higher and the battery will lose the excess. The rest is merely released into the air with a hiss of steam as the air around the battery is charged with reiatsu. If the battery is cut open, the reiatsu will dissipate in that same hiss of steam. It won't be hot enough to harm anything, and the battery just falls apart and would not be useful as shrapnel. The amount of steam released is comparable to a small cup of boiling water that has just come out of a microwave.

The Shell has been enchanted to allow Kazura to channel his reiatsu through it, stimulating the core to activate the elemental enhancements contained inside. The Water enhancement causes the gauntlet to send out a jet of water capable of dousing non-spiritual flames and potentially drowning victims with its volume of twenty gallons per use. These bullets have a Lacrima Core surrounded by a full metal jacket. The Core has been enhanced with Grade 1 Raw Reiatsu and a Grade 3 Fire enhancement. These bullets possess the strength and the speed that they are fired out of the gun at, but they don't move in a straight line. The Raw Reiatsu enhancement causes the bullets to move towards the heart of the spiritual being with the most Reiatsu Strength in the near proximity of thirty feet. The Grade 3 Fire enhancement causes the bullets to explode violently with the force of a grenade upon hitting something.

The Peacemaker

The Peacemaker is as powerful as a handgun can get using mortal technology combined with the strength of Lacrima crafting. The outside frame of the gun has been enhanced with a Grade 4 Earth enhancement, giving it a durability of 1000. The barrel of the gun has been enhanced with a class 3 Water enhancement that prevents the weapon from melting every time it is fired. The chamber of the gun has been enhanced with a Class 4 fire enhancement that gives the bullet a massive boost to power than a regular handgun would be capable of. Bullets from this weapon travel at 1200 speed and 750 strength. Bullets fired from this weapon are limited to one per post due to the mule of a kick this weapon has. The weapon has to be reloaded manually every use, and the power is such that a physical bullet must be used. Energy Generate: Bullet cannot create a bullet strong enough to withstand the power of The Peacemaker.

{The Theme Music}

The entire city could feel it, deep within their souls, spiritually aware and spiritually unaware alike. Everyone could tell something horrible was about to happen, something terrifying was about to occur, even if they weren't perfect sure what was happening. The defenders of Uzaki Enterprises in particular however could tell very clearly what was about to happen. They knew, in their blood and bones, deep within their hearts and souls, by the pricking in their thumbs, that something wicked this way comes.

Satsujun. Roshu Kensei. The God of Murder. The CEO of Xcution. The Strongest Man In The World. The former Captain Commander of Soul Society. The entity formerly known as Husk. The brother of the leader of the Royal Guard. The greatest Fullbringer to ever exist, and according to some, the greatest Shinigami to ever exist as well. The living legend, the man who spent 30,000 years trapped in prison, and honed his martial capabilities to the very limits of the imagination, and then pushed them beyond that point.

Satsujun was coming, and despite the strength of the five people present, there was very little that they could do to stop him. A Nakkabakki. A Mod Soul. 3 Fullbringers. That wasn't enough. All 15 of the Gotei 13's captains, including the Kido Corps captain and the Omnitsukido captain, as well as the Captain Commander, perhaps they would have a chance. Maybe. If they got lucky. But only 5 people? Uzaki Enterprises was full of dead men walking. Perhaps they even knew that. Perhaps that's why all of them looked so defiant, so prepared.

As the God of Murder approached, the sky turned black, and thunder rolled in the distance. This went directly against the predicted weather patterns, it was meant to be sunny today. But Satsujun didn't think that appropriate, and his power was so immense that he was capable of, even unconsciously, Soul Commanding the weather to fit the atmosphere that he was trying to create. In fact, the people of Uzaki Enterprises could use the bad weather to track his movements, as it followed him in his footsteps, rolling steadily towards the main building.

And then, finally, he was in their sight. He was tall, almost half a foot taller than any of the opponents that stood before him. He possessed an incredibly athletic body that almost looked sculpted in nature. He wore a black suit, pristine in appearance. And yet, something about him was disappointing. He was, for lack of a better word, almost underwhelming. For someone with such a godlike reputation, he appeared frighteningly human. Except for his reiatsu, the sheer power of it was enough to burn the eyes out of the sockets of lesser beings.

And then he spoke, and the very fact that he graced them with words almost felt intimidating. His voice was precise, and carried a weight to it that was somewhat terrifying. Somehow, even from hearing him say a few syllables, instantly made it clear how wise he was, and the godlike intelligence that he possessed. "I'm not going to insult you by offering you the chance to run, or surrender. None of you would accept that anyways. And that was the last thing that Satsujun spoke before the world fell apart before the people of Uzaki Enterprises.

Storm clouds on the horizon... How cliche. That was probably the final time Kazura would be able to think something bad about the CEO of Satsujun and get away with it... As the man approached, all of the spiritually unaware humans became more and more scarce as the feeling of dread and death filled the air like a rotting corpse. The street was empty and deserted as the God of Murder appeared past the skyline, and for once... Kazura was unimpressed. For all of the feeling of death and the immense force that the man put off, with his multiple thousands of Reiatsu Strength, his physical appearance was... plain. Not one to judge, normally, the CEO of Uzaki Enterprises still was taken aback.

He steeled his resolve for what would come as the Xcution CEO delivered his ultimatum... If you could call it that. It was more a Last Rite than anything else. Kazura had thought his fear of Death gone as he logically knew where he would go when he died, and he might even be more powerful after death, but... that didn't mean that he wanted to die. And looking at Satsujun awakened primal fears of death in the fullbringer once more. With his Strength of Will he could push them out of the forefront of his mind, but in the subconscious was were fears were most dangerous. In his subconscious, they could weaken his will and increase self doubt without him being able to keep track of them...

So Kazura embraced the fear instead of shunning it. Stepping one foot forwards, as if defending his employees, Kazura responded to Satsujun's call for a Last Prayer. "I pray to the god of Science, the god of Humanity, and the god of Freedom. May the god of Science guide my thoughts, the god of Humanity support my arm, and the god of Freedom give me liberty... or give me death. Until I stop breathing, I will stand up to you, Satsujun. Until I die, I will be the Leader of the Common people just trying to survive. And when I am gone... let the god of Peace bring about another such as I to do the job better than I could. If there truly are gods, and not just Shinigami impostors, if they can truly hear... Then let them watch this day and let the sun rise red tomorrow, whether it be for our blood or yours..." Handing the other communicators to Marcus to be divided among those who wanted them, Kazura placed one in his ear and readied himself for what was sure to be the fight of his life.

The Fullbringer didn't waste any time, didn't insult Satsujun in the slightest. To pretend that his release would be unnecessary would be to spit on the CEO and risk being slain instantly. The man didn't even bother with Level 1 either, skipping straight to Main Fullbring Level 2. Black armor overtook his body as his chest glowed bright with the red image of a Bat in flight surrounding a bright blue Core. The sleek armor looked ready for war and punishment. Though he had no real proficiency with them, Kazura summoned a tower shield to his left hand and a roman gladius to his right. Having something to defend himself that he wasn't proficient with was better than having nothing at all, in his mind. "I'd ask if you all were with me, but I already know the answer. Let's go protect our home."

As the sky's started to darken he mentally prepared himself for what was about to happen. Who ever was coming would have to face him, him and all these fighters that appeared to defend all that his king Kazura had built. What shocked him was the appearance of his king on the battlefield. It wasn't his place to put himself in such danger, that was the duty of the knight to keep his king safe. He had to wonder if what was coming towards them really was that dangerous that Kazura himself had to be here. This made things harder and at the same time a bit easier, with his king here he knew that he had the privilege of showing him what he could do in combat, but at the same time he also knew that it was his duty to throw himself in harms way to protect his king.

His lord offered out some odd magic to help them communicate better in battle. He had no need for that and politely refused, the magic he used was still strange to him and never did appeal to his tastes. This time however he had a good reason not to accept the strange devices because unlike the others he knew that no matter what happened the wishes of his king would always reach his heart. The chains wrapped tight around his body keeping them from view fell down and wrapped around his wrists sightly, leaving a majority of them free and on the ground around him while his hands gripped part of the long chain.

Finally the source of the power had arrived, Siegfried was taken back by how normal the man looked, he had assumed that a horrific demonic monstrosity was heading towards UE. Not a simple man, but he wasn't about to be fooled by this, he knew now that looks can be very very deceiving. One example was the ally by his side called Jak, he later on learned that the man wasn't a demon, but one with demon blood in them. While he still didn't trust the man entirely it was a great relief that he had chosen to take up arms with the rest of them.

The man's voice didn't fit his appearance, but the fear it instilled was easy to feel. A moment to pray to their gods, if this really was a chance then he would take it. While he didn't know what the others would do he would pray to the one true god that existed. Lowering one knee to the ground he clasped his hands together and lowered his head. He recalled the battle prayer that Alexia had used once before, riding headfirst into an entire army, the words she said there now felt right to say once more as he knew that they were all heading face first into an army inside one man.

“O God, my Father, I come to You through trust in Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life as a substitution for mine for the forgiveness of my sins, and whom I have accepted by faith as my Savior. I thank you for Your grace gift of eternal life! I ask for Your continued grace blessings and Divine protection for my King, my allies, and myself. I ask for Your Divine Wisdom to guide my King, my allies, and myself in the coming battle.   Guide my king so that he can think clearly, plan tirelessly, and act decisively.  Shield our allies from the weapons and intentions of the enemy.  And help me to remember my training, and to apply those lessons to the swift defeat of our enemy. I appeal to Your Divine Justice to grant us the victory! I ask this in the name of the Lord of the Armies, my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. 
Amen.”

With his prayer said he raised his head, a blade from one of his chains moved over his cheek and drew blood. He willingly gave up enough to the blades to create a third chain, the cut on his cheek however appeared only as a light scratch. The third chain wrapped around his waist while the other two stayed around his wrists. There would be no more turning back from this, he needed to end this fight as soon as possible and for that he would need as many chains as he could get and for that he had to turn to his allies. “My fellow combatants, forgive me for my selfish request for I need thy help in order to fend off this foul man. I bid thee for some of thy blood. If thy dost thou agree grab a blade and allow it to drink.”

The blades of the chains would hang back by the others as Siegfried stepped forward in front of Kazura. As he passed he whispered softly “forgive me my liege.” As he continued forward towards Satsujun. His own image became blurred as afterimages of himself started to appear three in total. However the afterimages weren't of past actions, but possible future actions. The two chains wrapped around his arms quickly pulled back away from his allies and launched at Satsujun. The afterimage copies of himself replicated this action, so it appeared that his attack was to hit him on both sides, but as the chains closed in he used bringer light to step to the right side of Satsujun. The chains no longer were trying to close in on his left and right side, but instead from the front and back. The chain that was coming from behind started to dip while the one from the front started to move upwards, with the afterimages being ahead of the actual chains it would seem like a wall of chains were heading right towards the former captain commander.

While he knew that this was a foolish attack he still wanted to draw the man's attention to himself. Without uttering another word he activated his secondary fullbring. The lantern with it's chain appeared wrapped around his belt and just as quickly it appeared a red mist filled the area around him. His third chain still wrapped around his waist he waited for the counter attack. The chain was ready to strike at his notice and the heavy blood mist filled the air. From his possition he knew that his king and the others would be just outside of the mist. He hoped that they would attack from the outside,lest they fall prey to the mist like he hoped that Satsujun would, or at the very least hinder him somewhat to make it easier for the rest to take him down.

A moment passed, as Kazura spoke his prayer, as Siegfried said his, as the others undoubtably giving theirs as well. Satsujun, for a moment, closed his own eyes, noting their prayers, noting their desires to fight and live. With that, he gave a slight nod, and then spoke: "One. Two. Three. Do you feel those heartbeats? Those heartbeats are a gift. They are the last heartbeats I will be giving you for free. After this point, now you'll have to earn them. Your lives are privileges, not rights, that you will need to fight for." And with that statement, Satsujun shifted his stance.

Suddenly, it was as if the world was crashing down. There was an immense pressure, but this wasn't gravitational pressure from Satsujun's class far outstripping those of his opponents. This was something else. Something almost indescribable. Satsujun's stance was always perfect, but in this case, it had a specific meaning. Instead of simply being ready to fight, now he was actively seeking a fight. Satsujun's stance meant that someone was going to die. Realistically, that multiple someone's were going to die.

Siegfried's tactic was a clever one, but being clever wasn't the way to beat Satsujun. Because, simply put, he was going to be smarter than you. In fact, Satsujun knew what Siegfried was going to do before Siegfried himself did, most likely. Satsujun's energy sensory allowed him to effectively read minds, and his analytical prowess allowed him to make predictions and conclusions with the smallest of data at terrifying speeds. He could sense Siegfried's reiatsu flow, realize the attack he was planning, realize exactly how he would make it, and then react, ignoring all the other slippery moves possible.

Satsujun didn't bother turning, however. He let Siegfried appear to his right side, allowed him to swing chain attacks to his front and back. The only thing that Satsujun did was shift his body slightly, so that when Siegfried appeared, instead of being an arms length away from Satsujun, Satsujun was in his guard already. Of the people assembled, Takara's energy sensory would suddenly burn, as if her eyes were closed while she was staring at the sun. If she didn't disable her energy sensory, this move would destroy both her, and Sigfried. But it was obvious to her what the beginnings of the reiatsu flare indicated. A Human World Technique, one that any of them could have known.

Ken. A Martial Discipline. As Siegfried struck out, his chains stopped about 7.5 inches away from Satsujun. Stopped, hanging in the air for a moment, then shattering into a million pieces, as suddenly they were struck all over with 3095 strength. Siegfried himself was also within the range of the push of Ken, and so he found himself struck all over, and would fly backwards, violently, across the battlefield. He'd smash through the glass doors of Uzaki Enterprises, with broken bones, and a fullbring that was damaged badly. Typically, Ken couldn't be used this way, offensively, but Satsujun was a master of the technique, and a general master of combat. He was the God of Murder, capable of using techniques in ways no one dreamed were possible.

As for the mist? Well, now there was a rather large sphere of clean air around Satsujun, as his Ken had pushed the foreign air particles themselves out of the way, recognizing them like the attack they were. Ken was, at it's core, a defensive technique, and only targeted threats. Which is why there was still normal air around Satsujun. Siegfried's attack, and Siegfried himself, had been broken and defeated. And in that instant, everyone would fear Satsujun. It was non negotiable, due to the power of Ken. Their greatest fears had come to life in human form, and as he stood there, in his plain business clothes, hearts would race faster, desperate to enjoy their heartbeats while they still had the ability to.

"Well then, who is next?"

Jak was the next to step forward. He glared at the man popping his knuckles in anticipation. He didn't care if he was going to die in this fight. He had a fulfilling life, and was glad that he could use his demon powers for the good of the people around him one last time. He knew just by watching Sir Arthur getting owned like that, that he had no chance in his normal form. He would have to throw everything he had at him.

"Lets turn up the heat shall we?!" He shouted as he went straight into his second form. Flames erupted from his body which soon got so hot that it looked like his body was made of liquid metal. His body temperature was now around eight hundred degrees F. Luckily now he was able to fight in this form with most of his normal fighting skills rather than the berserk that he was normally. He had an extra pair of arms under his normal pair of arms on top of growing another foot in height. His muscles expanded making seem much bigger.
A pair of pheonix wings appeared on his back lifting him into the air.

He focused the flames in his right arm. This wasn't normal flames not by a long shot. Once the flames gathered enough it was time to call out to the dragon. "DRAGON OF THE DEMON FLAME!" He shouted punching out with his arm. A large dragon made entirly of fire burst from his arm rushing to the man attacking his home. It would try to devour the man with the strength of eight hundred RS moving incredibly fast. 

But, that was not the only attack that Jak was throwing. Jak would hover in the air as he focused on the ground around the man's feet. He would raise his hand and a huge column of flames would rise from the ground incinerating anything within the area of effect. The area would affect a ten foot circle around the man, and the flames would tower over everyone reaching fifteen feet in the air. Not only will it cause physical burns, but also major soul burns as well.

450 Segunda Release, 400 Dragon of the Demon Flames 530/1380

Takara stood there on the steps in front of the building her right hand on her hip as she evaluated the combat ensuing. Takara had one of the greatest minds that UE could utilize while at the same time being the most powerful sensor. When Kazura released immediately into his Fullbringers most powerful form Takara was impressed by what she actually could feel. Her gaze was still set on Satsujun looking at him yet in truth she could see everything. Her gaze was without a single fault and she could see that there was the cold fear of what might happen on the fasces of everyone else.

Takara realized that she had made a critical mistake already by even coming down to the front of the building and meeting their adversary head on with the others. She should have stayed at the top of the building and utilized her ability from there. An appropriate strategy would be ideal in dealing with the monster present before them. Takara had never sensed reiatsu as potent as Satsujun and just by feeling his reiatsu she could tell that his ability was something that none of them were prepared to survive. Actually going over anything with the group at hand was shorting thrown out the window as Arthur rushed Satsujun.

Takara made no gesture to stop him and while he did his best Takara took the moment at hand to collect data on his own ability. The way that it worked was impressive and would normally be a great addition to this type of situation. There was just one problem his reiatsu wasn’t nearly as potent as Satsujun’s and Takara knew that even if he was successful in inflicting his ability on the leader of Xcution the monster would be able to crush the ability with no harm to him. That was when she sensed the massive wave of reiatsu coming from Satsujun.

Instinctively Takara stopped sensing the energy of everything in the area and shutdown her sense of hearing. Her sight was all that was needed at the moment to successfully collect data. She was lucky that her mind was able to process everything at the speeds that it did due to the fact that Arthur’s Fullbring shattered in the next instant and would have caused her a fair deal of pain to hear. The massive reiatsu expulsion of Satsujun utilizing Ken would have caused her brain to start bleeding and Takara wasn’t going to go down so easily. If none of the others could she would have to at least make this monster break a sweat. Takara took a moment and looked over at Kazura. “That’s why the pawns go first.”

Jak began to step forward as the next to attempt something and Takara could see to the side of her that he two was going to go straight into his most powerful form. Growing in size and changing physically was something that Takara already knew was the indicator of his Akki like release. When his release was finished he utilized a technique that she hadn’t seen so far yet once it was activated Takara knew the purpose and what it would actually be able to do. Well it seemed that the dark haired man to her other side wasn’t going to do anything yet so it would be best for all of them if Takara started a full scale bombardment.

When the fire dragon that Jak had just created rushed at Satsujun, Takara was sure not to start sensing again for one reason which was simply that Satsujun still held the possibility of flexing his reiatsu as a defense. If he did such an action the result would still be Takara suffering brain damage which would take her out of the fight. So for the time being she had to rely without her ability to sense reiatsu and her sense of hearing. It didn’t matter the training wheels were coming off and Takara was going to reduce everything in front of her to ash. The flames all around Satsujun should obscure his vision which was something Takara felt would be in her favor.

In the next moment Takara connected with the Omega Arsenal to the point that it felt as if she was holstering all of the weapons within herself. She and the Arsenal were one and the same now and it was time to unleash some stress and frustration all out on this one entity of power. All of her allies would suddenly see weaponry appear all around the area. Five around Takara one above her head and two on each side other then that there were rows of weapons all around the flaming dragon that covered Satsujun’s location. Ten machine guns formed a row at waist level, while the row below on the ground was covered now in land mines. The row above the machine guns was composed of ten bazookas. Finally just to make sure there was no escape point twenty swords were above.

The five weapons around Takara looked to be far more advanced then all of the others. Two looked to be snipers and two others looked to be some sort of metal launcher with a long barrel. The thing that would catch almost all attention was the massive rail-gun above her head aimed at Satsujun's location. It was massive like it had just ben attached to the side of a battle ship. In the next moment everything went off. The machines started to fire (600 Speed/300 Force) while the swords launched downwards (1200 Speed/Force) and the bazookas fired inwards. (600 Speed/1000 Force, Explosion covers twenty feet) The snipers then fired (Speed 900/ 1100 Force, explosion covers 10 feet) followed by the lightning fired from the barrel weapon. (The lightning is 7 foot squared in size, 650 Speed/800 Force) Finally the rail-gun was fired off reducing everything to nothing more then smoldering rock. (5 foot squared shot, Speed 1000/1400 Force, Explosion covers 25 feet)

Witness True Power

A gift wasted. A life lost. A soul broken. A company destroyed. A journey ended. All of these things would become true, would come to pass, in the not too far future. And why? Simply because Satsujun had decided that they would. Even if the employees of Uzaki Enterprises weren't aware of it yet, they had already lost. They were already dead. And that was because Satsujun had deemed them as his enemies. Satsujun, the God of Murder, the CEO of Xcution, The Once And Future King.

And so, since the opponents weren't wise enough to see the future, they believed they had a chance, and so they attacked him. Which was what he had expected them, asked them to do. In fact, although they might have thought that they were acting unpredictably, Satsujun had already determined their every move from the moment their reiatsu began to rise. He sensed the way their reiatsu moved, and extrapolated from there, simulating an entire battle. Like an oracle from ancient Greece, he read their futures and gazed into their souls.

And he found them lacking.

The Demon's soul erupted, showing his true heritage, the heritage he had spent so long denying. A heritage that Satsujun could almost respect. But ultimately, he didn't respect Jak's version of his ancestral power, and he certainly didn't fear it. The Nakkabaki was a poor imitation of his father, nothing more. He screamed something about turning up the heat, and in that moment, Satsujun did something absolutely terrifying: something that Kazura and Takara would pick up on, if no one else: Satsujun, the God of Murder, smiled.

As Jak's dragon of fire charged Satsujun, the CEO simply reached towards his own chest, and spoke softly, quietly enough that it would've been impossible to make out normally. But in that instant, all the world silenced itself, waiting patiently in audience to hear the words of the former Captain Commander and Son of the Soul King. The dragon would make no noise, as it superheated the air, as it roared, all of those sounds would be drowned out by the overwhelming, oppressive silence that preceded the four simple, terrifying words that Satsujun uttered:

"Burn like my birthright."

The dragon would engulf Satsujun, and for a split second, perhaps the less tactically aware members of the team would believe that they had injured their foe, killed him maybe. But to anyone with energy sensory, or half a brain, they would realized that they had lost. Then, the dragon exploded, a fountain of firing blood arcing up into the sky as it fell into two pieces, split neatly in half by a single upwards swing from Satsujun, who now held a weapon unlike anything that the four had ever seen.

In Satsujun's hand was a sword made up of white wisps of reiatsu, that incinerated the air around them, creating an incredible heat shimmer, one that Takara and Kazura would be able to tell was thousands of degrees in heat. And it possessed the cutting strength of Satsujun's RS, making it entirely unparalleled in the Human World. This was Satsujun's Soul, Fullbringed into a physical form for him to wield like a weapon. This was the substitute that he had found for Ryuujin Jakka, which his hands constantly ached to grip once more.

This was the weapon that would kill the remaining four.

Jak, however, hadn't stopped there, and neither had Takara. Both of them had more attacks to launch, and launch them they did. A giant pillar of flame erupted from the ground, consuming Satsujun just like the dragon had seconds ago. Then, all of the weapons that Takara had to offer appeared, and began to fire, launching high velocity and high impact projectiles from a multitude of angles at Satsujun, which bombarded his current location, destroying everything in the area that the fires hadn't.

And yet, as the flames died down, Satsujun stood there, unharmed, surrounded in a shimmering barrier. Energy Generate: Barrier, a defensive technique of the highest caliber, which in Satsujun's case had a defensive strength of at least double anything that Takara or Jak had to offer. Their attacks had been turned aside, like toy weapons, and Satsujun was unharmed, unphased, and unimpressed. The barrier continued to shimmer around him, preventing Takara from simply throwing more attacks at him.

However, the barrier flickered, in an instant, and if Takara had been capable of taking a shot, she likely would've been able to hit Satsujun. But she wasn't. Why? Because suddenly, a incredibly powerful force struck her from behind, a hit with 1200 force, something that she couldn't block. And additionally, she couldn't dodge, because she had no way of anticipating the attack. Since she had turned off her energy sensory, she wouldn't have seen Satsujun's energy surge, and her other senses wouldn't have clued her in to the foe that now stood behind her. The attack blew Takara off the building, as well as ripping a massive hole through her chest, roughly three times the size of a human fist. The enemy had held back, whoever it was. But until someone with at least 50 energy sensory looked at the roof, they wouldn't be able to tell who or what it was.

During that instant of distraction, Satsujun moved at full speed, crossing the distance between him and Jak easily. Jak would likely be surprised that Satsujun was unharmed, and the God of Murder would use that brief instant to his advantage. In fact, on top of that, Satsujun's predictive capabilities were so great that he moved during the split second where, after such a large explosion, that Jak would have involuntarily blinked. Jak couldn't react to the movement, not with his sub athletic reflexes.

Satsujun, instantly appearing in front of Jak, moved quickly and cleanly, his sword cutting through Jak. No, not cutting through. Satsujun's sword moved, appeared, exactly where he intended it to appear, and it ignored all the things that could have been in it's way. In this case, the target was Jak's right two arms, which would be cut through instantly, the cutting strength of Satsujun's weapon exceeding all of his defenses. Luckily for Jak, however, the wound would be instantly cauterized, as the pure heat of Satsujun's weapon sealed the wound and evaporated the blood that would pour out of it for the first instant.

One, perhaps two down. Only a few foes were left, and none of them were capable of standing up to Satsujun. None of them had ever been capable of doing so. The only thing they could hope to do was earn a good death.

Satsujun’s arrival caused even surroundings to shrink in fear. The skies darkened as lightning flashed in the distance, as if the show of strength would keep Satsujun from harming it. He could destroy the entire Human World if he desired, eliminating all those within it. Marcus had no doubt that there was little beyond this man’s capabilities. He decided to allow people to live or not. It wasn’t their right, it was his decision.

But Marcus wasn’t going to leave the survival of Uzaki Enterprise up to the God of Murder. He needed to be aware of what was happening and communicate with everyone as effectively as possible. The instant Kazura offered the earpieces and Siegfried declined, Marcus decided that the best possible move was for him to take the device and mentally connect himself to Kazura. Everyone else on the team was… expendable. They were pawns, including Marcus. Kazura was the king. He had to be protected at all costs.

If the circumstances weren’t so dire, Marcus might have awkwardly laughed at the suggestion. He never encountered a god who believed him worth protecting and helping. Gods were no good. People could only find other people to rely on. People like Kazura and Harle, those who Marcus treasured above all else and enjoyed him as well. They didn’t even have to love him the same way he loved them. They accepted him, so he vowed to support and fight for them. No god would answer a prayer to save Kazura. That was Marcus’s duty.

"One. Two. Three. Do you feel those heartbeats? Those heartbeats are a gift. They are the last heartbeats I will be giving you for free. After this point, now you'll have to earn them. Your lives are privileges, not rights, that you will need to fight for." How grim. It was fitting.

Marcus wanted to put an arm on Siegfried’s shoulder and shake his head, warning that a direct attack was a poor decision. However, he couldn’t. Siegfried was making the smart move. He was sacrificing himself to deter Satsujun and possibly distract him long enough for the rest of the team to land a strike. So Marcus was ready. He carried both escrima sticks in his hands, prepared to strike if Siegfried created an opening. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

Siegfried was destroyed in an instant. He wasn’t dead, but it would be a miracle if his body could move after taking such a blow. It wasn’t just Siegfried either. Jak and Takara displayed as much of their raw force as they possibly could. However, both were eliminated with ease. Satsujun was playing with his food, and so far, none of it seemed very entertaining. He was bored, and the more bored he became, the faster he ate up. Marcus and Kazura were the only two left without any injuries, and it was unlikely that Jak would be able to contribute much after losing both of his arms. It seemed like Marcus was the last defense.

Run away, he thought, using the earpiece to talk to Kazura. Run as far and fast as you can. You can’t die here. None of us would allow it. I’ll hold him off and try to keep his attention. You need to run. There was no stutter when Marcus was able to communicate mentally. In fact, it might be the first time Kazura heard Marcus speak with a powerful voice. It might be the last time.

Marcus began walking toward Satsujun just seconds after the man sliced Jak’s arms off. He was taking a gamble, hoping that Kazura would be allowed to run off and while Satsujun decided to give Marcus his attention. The young man wasn’t very well spoken. Even past his stutter, he lacked skill with putting words together. However, he was going to try as much as he could in this scenario, when it was all on the line. Not just his life, but Kazura’s.

“Why did you decide to attack Uzaki Enterprise now? Kazura… he’s been getting people together and building the company up. It’s had some attention on it for a while. Why now? Especially when Kazura has been trying to work with Xcution and set up good relations. If you decide whether I live and die, I… I want to know why that decision was made, if I’m even worth that much.”

Marcus knew that he was disposable. He was just another foot soldier there to do Kazura’s bidding. But that role was worth it if when someone like Kazura was the leader. Satsujun could decide to kill Marcus that instant, not even answering Marcus’s question, but the man put himself into such a situation with that risk in mind. He wanted to say that he had no regrets. That he lived the life he was meant to. That he served his purpose. But the instant he met Harle, none of that was true. She gave him something more, and he just wished he got a chance to say goodbye. Before Satsujun could respond or act, Marcus sent one more mental thought through the earpiece.
