Alight, I have been thinking about making a pure mod soul for a while now. I am stuck between two powers that I find will be fun to play as, as well as effective in combat in some manner. These ideas are still in the relatively new stages and not completely thought out yet, but I still want some feed back from mods and members alike.
The first idea for the powers is called Pandemonium. This is a very chaotic power by nature. This will give the mod soul the ability to teleport, transform the appearance of himself, people around him, and objects, he can materialize objects out of thin air, he is also able to animate inanimate objects (which also include weapons such as zanpakuto) and duplicate not only himself and objects. At the final level he forms a pocket dimension where he can perform all these actions without cost similar to an Arrancars release.
There are two ways in which these powers would be developed. One way is that with each of these sub-abilities are unlocked as the mod soul gains the use of each level. The first that would be unlocked is Teleportation, then materialization, transformation, animation, then duplication, finally the pocket dimension where he basically bends reality and makes the laws of physics his bitch.
The other way to go about developing his powers would be to have him have access to all the sub abilities from the start and increase the scope of what he can do with them as he levels up. For example, at level one he would be able to teleport for short distances, bout three feet or so, enough to dodge a sword, materialize small objects, and animate stuff like penciels and other small things in short proximity, and transform bits and peices of himself. While at level 4 he can teleport much farther, materialize more complex things at will and transform things and other people. At level 5 or 6 he can animate a zanpakuto, which does nothing but bring the Zan spirit to the material plane.
The other idea is a different sort of power all together. This one he makes physical contact with a person and can absorb someones powers, which include stats and techs for a short period of time. And if another individual learns a certain "dance" sequence they can fuse completly like in Dragon Ball Z. When he absorbed someone's stats, he gets a set amount depending on the level of course as high as the 3x cap. The counter balance would be that he also gains the weaknesses of the person he absorbs as well. If he had a 25% derease on a stat and his opponent also has a 25% decrease on that same stat, he will gain more points in the stat, but it will take a 50% reduction. At level 1 he can absorb 25% of each stat and take the full reductions of the other person. At level 2 he gains 50% with same reduction, level 4 75% and lv 5 all his opponents stats are added to his own. at level 6 he gains all the stats but only takes 50% of his opponents reductions and at level 7 only 25%.
