Hebika smiled, that slow grin slipping across her lips like a snake slithering. She grinned up at the soldiers as the crowd surged, and even as those weapons and opened fire, she crouched down, roaring out as she surged foreward with several of the others. When those bullets clipped her, she twitched, her body jerking to the side as she was shot in the left shoulder, spinning as she went down. Of course, then the crowd rushed in. SURGING. She got up, roaring at the top of her lungs. "For our loved ones! For. OUR. PEOPLE!" She bellowed, causing no doubt a reciprocative roar from the crowd as they rushed in, grinning softly as she herself rushed in, slipping past the guards as they were beset by the masses of bodies.
Not only her, but others as well slipping past them, Hebika herself glancing over her shoulder, noticing the tanks were pointing at the crowd, her eyes narrowing. A sacrifice for the revolution. So she broke her golden rule. She waved her hand. And suddenly, those tanks would twist away from the crowds, not changing their shape, but even so, those tanks would soon become her children. HERS. Those main guns pointing at the Soldiers instead, irregardless of what the humans inside did as they would open fire on the soldiers, inciting no doubt even more confusion as she looked ahead, those tanks ripping into the soldiers with machinegun fire. No doubt that would cause a lot of issues for them.
She was begining to move on, into the city when she noticed a familiar flash of purple hair, her eyes widening for a moment as she turned, noticing that her cabby had managed to get in as well. "See if you can gather up some of the others that got in. You'll be safe with them alright? " But of course he was just staring. He had seen her wave her hand at the Tanks and she put her hand on his shoulder. Assuringly. "I'll explain later." She whispered, patting his back and sending him off to find more of those that slipped through.
She looked around. She could already sense there was....others nearby. Her incredibly keen instincts letting her know that there was....something around them. She made her way over to Hotaru, her eyes narrowing for a moment as she cleared her throat. "You're welcome. Of course I figured the soldiers talking to invisible people would look a bit strange, so I decided to steal the spotlight." she explained, that warm smile on her face, that light aura washing over the shinigami as she reached up, brushing a lock of blonde hair over her shoulder as she smiled to the woman.
"Of course One hardly needs to guess why a Shinigami is here. That being said, I think it would be best if you and I stuck together yes? If we meet any survivors they'll need to be calmed down. People do bad things when they panic. And well,.. I'm sure you've noticed I'm a very calming person." She noted with a bit of a flirtatious wink as that aura continued to fill the air. "But I'm not the most....physical of types. And well... a little protection. You protect me, and I smooth things over with those we meet." she offered. She could more than defend herself if they were in a bind.
But the fact was, she needed to recover her Heart's content. She couldn't just rage around with her entities indefinitely. she didn't know how long they'd be here, and well, the shinigami would definitely come in handy. But well, she smiled sweetly, even nervously, a contrast to the command she had held before over the crowd, reaching out to lightly wipe a bit of dirt from the woman's cheek, letting that motherly warmth roll off of her, matching the tone of her voice as she spoke softly. "Of course I understand if you decline. You probably have a very important mission. Regardless, I'm glad you made it through. And in exchange for helping me, I'd also be willing to help you on your mission." she noted with a warm grin, confidence showing in her expression, a look that made one feel safe around Hebika, as though she knew exactly what she was doing. She could be trusted.
Goodness if Hebika ever got it in her mind to form a cult. Looking up, she let her attention shift to their surroundings, taking in the layout of the city. What WAS she here for? To help she supposed. She let her senses pour out, taking in everything around her. Where those presences were comming from. Any sounds of commotion, that sort of thing. Her instinct was her best asset, so she would let it lead her. She considered using an entity or tow for recon, but she couldn't go using those just yet. She would save them for now. Looking to Hotaru she couldn't help it. She hated shinigami, she really did. She wanted to murder the woman, but....none of that showed, she looked at the woman with interest, that warm aura of hers the only thing that could be felt really as she tried to hate the woman.
But she had.... a conditional hate. she needed the woman. And well, she decided, given the circumstances, to give the woman a chance. She expected the woman to fuck her over. She assumed that this woman would do something. Be it just telling her to fuck off, or stabbing her in the back later. She figured thats what would happen. So she relaxed. She wouldn't get her hopes up, but it was worth a try. If the woman could work with her maybe she could...well....be ok around the woman. The fact that she wasn't a man definitely helping her case, she wasn't going to lie. For now she simply waited, curious to see if the woman would decide to aid her in her exploration of the city and her endeavor.
