Technique Element: Wind/Ice
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Using Mod Root, the user reaches into the air around them, spreading their influence before causing the air to very suddenly compress and lock in place, reducing molecular collisions and causing an incredible plunge in temperature in the air around them. This subjects anything between one and ten meters of temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees Kelvin (about -369 degrees Fahrenheit). Individuals without cold resistance will typically freeze and shatter within two posts. Individuals with a Cold Resistance of 1 will suffer deep frostbite and their feet, nose, and hands may shatter, will completely shatter in three posts. A 2 in cold resistance will typically cause the tech to be nonlethal, but still debilitating, shattering patches of skin and causing deep frostbite will completely shatter in four posts. A 3 in Cold resistance will allow an individual to take the attack well, receiving severe frost bite and only the top layers of skin freezing, will completely shatter in five posts. Despite cold resistance, each post they remain in the zone will increase the effect to the next level of severity until they freeze and shatter.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) In order to avoid freezing themselves, the area of a three foot radius around the Mod soul will actually have an increase in temperature in order to protect the Mod Soul from being subjected to the cold, as such if this technique is initiated with the target WITHIN this area, they will also be protected from the cold, requiring the mod soul to keep the target within three to thirty feet from them in order to ensure they take the full brunt of the attack. Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a stepping move. It is unique compared to the others in its own way. The user uses a burst of Reiatsu to move one step. When moving they absorb the spirit particles along their path. This causes the step to increase in speed. The first half of this step uses an 8x increase. While using their own Reiatsu the user cannot change directions. However they can use the absorbed Reiatsu to propel themselves in different directions if needed during the second half of this technique, which is an 11x increase. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique: The user releases Reiatsu to move in a certain direction. While they move they absorb the Reiatsu around them. Then they use the absorbed Reiatsu to move even further. It costs 60 Reiatsu to perform one step. The user can pay 120 Reiatsu however during the second half of the step to REFRESH the step and propel in a given direction. This additional increase would give a 13x increase. During the second half of this step, the user can use the same option, this time for 240 Reiatsu, and a 15x increase, and so on. Essentially continue increasing speed by 2x each time for a doubled cost.
Drawback: Reiatsu cost and exhaustion. Continued doubling of cost. Continued doubling of strain, exhaustion, and muscle pull/wear.
Technique Description and Effects: Similar to how Moddo Ne increases influence into surroundings by sending out roots of the Mod Soul's Reiatsu, Moddo Toge in a similar fashion allows a Mod Soul to extend these roots of it's soul from the skin of the body it is using and to hone those tiny roots into points akin to a network of thorns just above the skin, allowing them to use it like a weapon, striking an opponent and inflicting damage. However unlike a traditional weapon, this mesh of soul thorns simply shreds and grates at whatever it impacts, somewhat akin to being struck with a thorny cheese grater. Though this can only be used on one part of the body at a time, it allows a Mod soul to effectively make any part of their inhabited body into a weapon.
This technique costs 100 Reiatsu to activate, lasting for five posts. The location of the thorns can be changed during this time for 50 Reiatsu. The strength of these thorns are determined like any other non-release weapon in that they take the offensive stat of the user, not including spiritual pressure. Additionally the thorns can be formed along any surface that is considered part of the Mod soul's body so long as it is a solid surface, as such parts of the environment effected by Root can grow thorns and be used like a spiritual weapon. Regardless of the properties of the object, however, it will still shred as opposed to cutting.
How to use technique: Extending roots of spirit energy before focusing them into a sharp mesh similar to how any other being would focus their spirit energy into a weapon.
Technique Drawbacks: Can only be used on one part of the body at a time, the part of which cannot exceed more than 30% of the body's surface area. Requires Proficiency in Moddo Ne.

Excerpt describing Entity: "A beast made specifically for this kind of thing. Anklebiter. After emerging from the ground, it would be seen that it actually had countless heads, each of them canine in appearance as the entity itself was a solid 50 feet in height, heads sprouting from it's body like some sort of horrendous hydra, it's enormously long tail behind it swishin.
It's composition was fairly intruiging. IT's mouths and faces of each and every head was made up of solidified air, oxygen, hydrogen and the like supercooled, to the point where ice would likely have begun crawling up Douma's legs even if by some means he HAD managed to escape them, freezing his legs and clothing. The main body and necks were simply solid stone, but from little mouths along the necks and along it's chest, gushed it's blood: liquid rock: Namely lava. Of course the necks were long enough that the mouths were not in danger of melting from it, and it's tail had a long line of mouths drooling the stuff. A whip of it's tail more than enough to fling strands of that magma at whatever it wished."

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): This technique was devised as a means of attaining a proper body when a suitable one is unavailable. Developed by a group of mod souls that had been stranded in remote areas without any hope of finding a pre-made body for themselves. This technique uses Mod Root to reach into a Mod Soul's surroundings when it is in Pill form, and to use Ambient materials in order to possess inanimate objects or bodies that are compromised or otherwise are not properly built to be used as a body, such as a corpse or a toy without moving joints where the body is either too damaged or not made to attain motion, or an object which has suitable features but does not have an opening through which to be swallowed. By digging in and rooting themselves into the body and making slight adjustments, a Mod Soul will be able to possess ANY entity they might come across withing reasonable parameters, as opposed to having to rely on a conveniently ambient body that would be more naturally suitable.
At Class Seven, this technique allows the Mod soul to possess any reasonably shaped inanimate object so long as it has a somewhat feasably mobile body (A Stone statue would be useable, but not ab unshaped block of cement).
At Class Three, this technique goes beyond simply implanting into suitable bodies, but at this level the Mod Soul is actually able to drag in ambient material, shaped or not, and construct a body of their own design around their pill. And when this Technique is mastered at this Class, combined with a crafting skill of at least 2, they will even be able to convert any constructed bodies into a proper, functioning Gigai for repeated use. Bodies attained using this technique must still comply to the strength:height standards outlined in Strength's stat description. Additionally a body will retain the Mod soul's stats. Additionally, when molding these bodies, a Mod Soul cannot recklessly design them, requiring a careful balance for what they want the body to be used for. By Default, the body typically will retain the same amount of mobility as their normal body, as well as normal (aka whatever durability they would have based on strength and RS or through special techniques) durability. 100% Mobility, 0% extra durability. However, by sacrificing some of their mobility, they can make the body less mobile, but more durable at a 1:1 ratio. Meaning that rather than 100% mobility (Speed remains the same) and 0% durability (No special defense), the user can sacrifice a percent, say 50 and wind up with 50% mobility (Speed is cut in half, 100 becomes 50) and 50% durability (50% of the user's offensive stat as extra durability). This conversion must happen at the time that the body is created.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) This technique is a resort, and most users typically will only ever use it in the absence of a proper body. For those who have simply Learned the ability, the body has trouble responding properly and as such whie using it, they suffer a 30% cut to instinct (after type). At the Profficient level, this is reduced to a 15% cut, and finally at Mastered, they can control the body as easily as any gigai or human body. While this gives a lot of freedom as to the shape and size of the body the Mod Soul can inhabit. However, typically bodies taken up in this manner do not last very long. At learned, the body will at most last for six posts. At Proficient, this increases dramatically, to 12 posts. And at Mastered, bodies acquired in this manner can be converted sufficiently to the point where they can be used repeatedly without worry (However the user will need to pay for the new gigai as if it were am NPC of their current class if they wish to use it outside of the thread in which it was created.)
This Technique costs a hefty 100 reiatsu at class 7, increasing to 500 at Class 3. Additionally, this is NEVER a technique that should be used repeatedly. Every use beyond the first (within the same thread) will double the reiatsu cost, and every use beyond the fourth will result in further uses tripling the reiatsu cost. Ending a thread or taking an extended rest resets the cost.
Mod Soul Gigas cannot use this technique. Living matter may never be used for body building material, regardless of class. Additionally the effects of another living thing that are on their person, or have a spiritual link may not be used without spiritual offensive stat superiority.

Technique Description and Effects : This technique is a simple sealing process. By drawing a seal onto the ground with one's reiatsu, the user can seal an object or entity into their body in the form of a tattoo. This tattoo must scale with the size of whatever it is that is sealed onto the user, with a percent linked to the size of the object in feet. The tattoo must take up 1% of the user's body for every foot in size the object has (This applies to the largest dimension the object has. If a broom that is four feet long, and only half a foot wide is taken in, and a board of wood four feet long and three feet wide are made, then both tattoos would take up 2% of the user's body as 4 feet is the largest dimension). A finger would compose about 1% of the body, the hand about 5%, an entire limb about 15%, the Torso takes up 30%, Head takes up 10%
Object and entities sealed within this space are put in stasis, and maintain qualities from when they were sealed (Outside of things on a post-specific timer). No living thing can ever be sealed against it's will, regardless of OS or Class superiority. Additionally, no Attack can be sealed ever. Because of this, this technique is largely unuseful in direct combat, and generally is only used as a utility power.
Technique Drawbacks: While there is no reiatsu cost for normal sealing and unsealing outside of combat, if the user has at least 250 Instincts, they will be able to perform the unsealing and sealing ritual quickly enough to be used in combat. In this manner, the technique costs 100 reiatsu to seal/unseal an object or individual. Release weapons may never be sealed. Additionally, while the general state of an object is maintained, normal duration for the item being sealed is retained. (If something that lasts 4 posts is sealed, if the object is unsealed 2 posts later, it will have 2 posts left before it expires. ) This ensures that only objects with naturally long life and duration are utilized, or else are only sealed for brief moments at a time. Stasis-bound objects and entities, while they maintain their basic state, still take damage and suffer effects while sealed.

Technique Description and Effects : This Technique is a True step technique, usable only by Mod Souls, specifically those who have not been tainted by hell or who have abandoned their pill form. This technique uses Mod Root to spread into the air around their bodies, completely eliminating wind resistance and even manipulating the air around them in order to shunt their bodies in any way they desire. Additionally, as the technique manipulates through mod root as opposed to bursts of reiatsu, this technique does not cause a flux in the user's reiatsu during use.
At Class 6, this is a simple step technique, only instead of being based on the user's feet being on a solid surface, this technique needs no solid base to perform, and simply shoves the user in any direction they wish at 8x their normal speed. Unlike most step techniques, this does not need to be performed in a straight line as, again, this is not simply launching from a single point, but consciously moving the user around using the surrounding air. At Profficient, the speed boost raises to 11x normal speed (increases cost to 100 reiatsu), and at Mastered the boost becomes 15x normal speed (Increases cost to 150 reiatsu).
At Class 4, this technique can not only apply to general movement and maneuvering, but also can be used to focus on a single part of the Mod Soul's anatomy in use for combat. This allows the tech to be used on a single limb. This boost is a flat 3x the user's base speed and only applies to the effected limb. This boost of speed lasts 1 post at learned, 3 posts at proficient, and 5 posts at Mastered. Even at learned, this class of the technique counts as a long-term stat boost.
At Class 2, this technique is further amplified, applying the technique to the user's entire body like in class 6, but with a powerful speed boost similar to class 4. In this use, the user's speed is increased by 150% (100 becomes 250), and the area around the Mod soul's body has the wind moving around them at such a pace that anything that comes too close to the mod soul is subjected to shredding wind currents, these currents have no offensive strength as it is not reiatsu-infused and is just simply physical air currents, meaning that any type of barrier or skin defense can stop them, however this means that it cannot be resisted without using a defense, and any unprotected area of the body will be damaged. At Learned, anything within 5 meters of the user is subjected to shallow lacerations from the wind. At Proficient, anything within 2 meters of the user is subjected to deep lacerations. At Mastered, anything within 1 foot of the user's body will be shredded, stripping flesh down to the bone. Lasts for 6 posts.
Technique Drawbacks: It costs twice the normal amount of TTP to Learn, Profficient, and Master this technique because of the fine control involved compared to any other step technique, additionally it does not have ties to a discipline or martial art skill as it is an intrinsic ability inherent to true mod souls. The user must have Mastered Mod Root of equal or greater class than the class of this technique they are trying to learn. Additionally, this technique costs 50 reiatsu at class 6 (100 for 11x, 150 for 15x), 250 reiatsu at class 4, and 600 reiatsu at class 2. Unlike any other step technique, this takes up a technique slot.
