Samurai meets Ghost (Jill and Hotaru/Training/NDE/R)

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru Kuchiki found herself back in Karakura Town. She found herself in this city less and less as more time passed. She knew that her love was not here, so she decided to take assignments farther away from Japan, allowing her to look for Asmoskon even farther than she thought possible. She had been hard at work looking for him and today, she found herself posted back in Karakura Town after however many weeks she had been away. Time started to run together for her, all the time after the fateful day that Asmoskon left her behind to do whatever he was doing now.

So, she would remain vigilante for him, but stick to her duties, on find hollows. She looked around the town quickly, killing the few hollows that she did find. After she was done, meaning after a few hours, she stopped and took a breath. She was running around so hard, she knew that she would need to give herself a break. So, since she was back in this town, she decided to give herself a little bit of a break. But! Just a little break. So, she took a deep breath and started out, walking towards the little cafe that she had met her first Arrancar, Itami. She got to the outside and smiled a little.

She didn't have a Gigai this time, so she felt a little bad for what she was doing. When the new eclairs got made, she stole four of them and put them away in a bag she found there. She then walked towards where the iced coffee was, but put the bag out of sight first. She didn't want the humans to freak out due to a bag just floating around the store. When they weren't looking, she filled up two of their biggest cups with the iced coffee, put lids on and ran out the back way of the cafe. After that, she went up to a nearby roof and started eating/drinking her pilfered drinks. She took and breath and just tried to relax, but there was still tension in her muscles. She needed to find him, but she didn't know how much longer this would take.

Hollows... It's in her blood. There is a rumor that is said that if a fullbringer was ever corrupted into becoming a hollow, they'd be essentially much more powerful and much more fearsome. Of course, Jill didn't know that... She's slam her heel against a hollow's head and crack his mask open like an egg! As it faded it spoke very faint words, "Damn you... One day we'll fucking devour the hell out of you!" and it simply disappeared. It didn't go back to the SS, instead it's life ends right there. No chances, no life, no clean start. She'd slowly put her foot down in as she just stretches it. She pops her back and turns around.

Behind her was a wall full of blood as a human body lays there. She looks down at the poor soul's corpse and walks over to it. It seems she was too late to save the poor human. She gets on one knee and notices the human's eyes were left open. She slowly sighs and brings her hand over the poor girl's eyes, closing them very slowly. Another day where the young get murdered by the haunted. She slowly leaves her body there for the authorities to take care of. She smells the blood in the air and it was disgusting with the smell of iron. She quickly backs up and jumps up on a ladder to the rooftops. She then does a flip on to ladder and onto the roof to get herself up.

She hears the sirens coming and this is where she launches off. She steps back and Bringer lights off. She jumps rooftop to rooftop in her Bringer light, continuing her patrol. She felt awful for the poor human but she had to keep going. Suddenly, she saw something ahead. She quickly stops in her Bringer light and right before her was a shinigami. She was right across from her on the other side of the rooftop. She watched her as she just sits there...

She puts a hand on her hip and looks at the shinigami, a rather neutral stance. Showing no aggression but no friendly body language. For the past few encounters with shinigamis, she's always started a lot of shit with them but Prime thinks its time to give it a rest. She was wearing her regular leather suit, no fullbringer activated yet but she wasn't tempted to let it out. Her tattoo underneath was itchy as hell but she didn't itch it. She was too focused on the shinigami. She stood there, saying not a word.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

While Hotaru had been sitting there, she finished off one of her iced coffees. She was definitely enjoying the break and eating two of the eclairs. She hadn't had sweets in so long that she had actually missed the taste of sweets, these in particular now that she was actually getting to eat them again. She let out a breath and tried to hold back tears. She was thinking of Asmoskon, thinking how much he would enjoy eating these with her. She looked over to her left side and could almost see him sitting there, right next to her, smiling up at her and staying close, having his arm around her. She wouldn't let the tears fall, however. She had to keep a straight face.

It was then that she felt something behind her. She took a deep breath and looked behind her. She figured that she was a human, but obviously this human could see her. So, she was a spiritually aware human. She put her treats off to the side and slowly stood up on the roof. She dusted herself off and turned around, looking stern at this woman. She had never even seen her before. Maybe she was new around her. Even though it didn't really look like it, she had issues with trust now, especially after what Takashi did to her family. She trusted him completely and it all blew up in her face when he left Soul Society. Because of that, if she met any new people, she was much more wary.

So, she continued to stare at this woman. She could tell that the woman wasn't exactly ready to welcome her with open arms, and she shouldn't be. You can't trust everyone you met, Hotaru knowing that better than most. She slowly walked towards the woman and stopping, giving them at least ten feet of space inbetween them. She stood there and took a deep breath, keeping her hands loose at her sides before crossing them in front of her body. "Hello, my name is Hotaru Kuchiki. I have a question to ask you. Have you met someone that is called the 'Renegade Quincy?' His name is Asmoskon Masurao." She gave a description based on what he looked like six months ago, not knowing the change that he had undergone.

['Stalker']

She watched the woman approach her. She had a sword on her side which meant one thing... A shinigami in the 13 court guard squad... She kept her distance as she stopped but then she spoke. "Hello, my name is Hotaru Kuchiki. I have a question to ask you. Have you met someone that is called the 'Renegade Quincy?' His name is Asmoskon Masurao." she asked giving her descriptions. Yup, she knew who she was talking about. She won't hide it from her either with a respectful manner, "Yes, I have. The eye patched quincy... He was last seen in London, England by me. The man says he goes around everywhere so he's probably long gone." she explained the shinigami.

She studied her emotions after saying so, keeping an eye on her. She wasn't in the mood to be completely hostile but she's actually sad about earlier with the poor girl that was murdered. "I assume you're on a patrol, Miss Kuchiki?" she kindly asked her. Honestly, this was the first time Hotaru met Prime but she was actually different if others say Prime. She wasn't very aggressive but yet upset in her mind. She kept herself normal though in reality. "I am 'Prime', I work for Uzaki Enterprise." she calmly says before stepping forward to move in closer to Hotaru about five feet away.

Her green eyes were soft and warm as she looked at the shinigami. "I was on patrol too. We lost another poor girl to a hollow. I was too late to arrive to the scene but the hollow was terminated," she said as if it was her own fault. She hatches an idea to further get to further know the shinigami in a respectful manner, "Miss Kuchiki. Since you may be on patrol, would you like to perform a 'Joint-Patrol'? I think we can understand each other more as we patrol for hollows. Hell, maybe perhaps get more stuff done?" she asks her in a soft British accent tone. It was time to be friendly for once in her miserable life and why not start here?

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru listened and when she said that she had actually heard of Asmoskon, she had to control herself. She didn't want her eyes to completely bug out of her head, but she was pretty sure her eyes widened a little. This was the first person that had actually run into her love since she started looking six months ago. She smiled to herself, happy to finally get a led on him. Though, what she said next surprised her. Eye patch Quincy? What? When she last saw her love, he didn't have an eye patch, just the scar across his chest that he made because of her stupid decision. What in the hell happened for him to need an eye patch now? It made her sad.

So, she was right. He must be out hunting Vandenreich and lost his eye in a fight. It's the only thing that seemed logical to her. She was sad that it happened directly because of her. He wouldn't be out doing that now if she hadn't been stupid. She continued that she saw him in a place called 'London, England.' She knew that it was a different country, but she hadn't even been there yet. Though, when she said that he goes around everywhere and was probably gone, it all started to make sense to her. He really didn't want to be found. It's the only reason she could think of that he would move around everywhere. It's why she couldn't find him, he kept traveling.

She still made a mental note to to check out London anyway. She didn't know if he would go back there, but at least now she knew one thing different about him, an eye patch. It was at least something, she thought to herself. She took another deep breath to steady herself and looked back up at the woman in the eye. She then asked if she was on patrol and stated that she was Prime from Uzaki Enterprises. She cocked her head to the side out of curiosity. She had never heard of this Uzaki Enterprises. "Yes Prime, I am out on patrol, but I've never heard of this Uzaki Enterprises that you speak of. I don't know much about the human world, only a few cities and countries."

She heard the human continue, saying that she was also out on patrol when a hollow appeared and it seemed that another human was lost to it before she defeated it herself. She then suggested a Joint-Patrol, so maybe they could understand each other while they were out hunting hollows and get more things done. She quickly walked towards her goodies and wrapped them up, tying them to her sash. She looked at the woman. She would at least be able to ask her about Asmoskon, maybe see how much he had actually changed. "It sounds like a good idea. I have nothing against the proposition. If you wouldn't mind if I picked the direction, I say we go this way." She pointed off to her right and started running towards that direction.

['Stalker']

She stood there watching her pack her stuff. She talked about picking a direction to patrol which was actually a way she hasn't gone. She nodded and quickly followed her at her pace. A human and a shinigami co-op together in a harsh world to fight hollows? Haha, such a rare combo! Prime deep down feels hate towards the shinigami but perhaps Hotaru can change her thoughts. She could actually be the key in fully restoring peace within herself for the shinigamis. She was giving a chance to Hotaru. "I'm sorry to say Miss Kuchiki, but I never got the chance to fully talk with the fellow you speak of. It was a rather quick conversation. He wasn't very nice about talking with me for a few moments," she said to her as they ran together.

She looked to her side where Hotaru was to face her, yet still focusing on where they were going. "He was a very serious man and even mistook me for a whore. I was quite offended by him but it seemed he was unhappy. I'm not sure why he was like that but all I know is that it's none of my business. Also, he seemed to be in a damn hurry for something. I stopped him aside because I wanted to find a location that was very known to have people such as myself there but unfortunately he never passed me that info. I know it's the man you mentioned because he gave his name out with what you asked and even has the scar to prove so," she said with a sigh before turning around to continuing running with her.

She thought hard about it and knew it was tough. She has a feeling Hotaru lost him or something, maybe they were good friends, "If he's someone you've lost... I'm sorry. I lost a little brother awhile ago when I was eight years old. Our mother killed our father in front of us and even committed suicide in front of us. As soon as the authorities arrived, we were separated. Never saw him again..." she said, giving a frown. She had a doubtful thought going through her head whether he was dead or alive. She hoped he was alive but she was just not too sure. 

She continued her run and surprisingly not even a tired from running for far. She was rather pumped with sanity surprisingly. After remembering all that, usually she'd go insane. She kept her pace well with Hotaru, obviously it should be clear that Hotaru would be aware she was not your average human. Prime would assume she'd understand that by now anyways. She was a ghost, a fighter, and most of all a lone wolf. She had no one now in her life to soothe herself. She was anti-social a lot but now she was speaking with this shinigami. She feels slightly better about herself talking to her just a little but she still needed to stay focus on the patrol.

Hotaru ran off in the direction that she had pointed, a little surprised that the human was able to keep up with her. She was fast, a lot faster than she used to be, but she shouldn't assume that everyone couldn't keep up with her. She knew the captains in the squads could easily go faster than her. She chided herself for assuming that Prime couldn't keep up with her. It was not her way and she didn't need to start thinking that way now. She kept her ears open for any sounds and stretching her energy sensing to its limits, which wasn't very far, in the hopes that she might be able to sense her love again. It was then that she heard Prime say something.

It seems like she was going to tell her what she knew about Asmoskon. It seems that when she met him, it was a rather quick conversation and he wasn't nice. Interesting she would mention that. The Asmoskon she knew would not be like that. He wouldn't be quick with someone, but understanding. He had changed much quicker than she thought, and a lot more than she thought. It made her sad to think about. She continued to listen to her speak about him. He was now very serious and mistook her for a whore. What?! From what she knew of the man, he would NEVER do something like that. She then thought back on what he told her and it made sense.

Because of her, he thought all women were untrustworthy and whores pretty much. That fact completely plummeted her mood. She was now fighting back tears and the woman wasn't even done yet. She could tell he was unhappy, but he was in a hurry. When she mentioned the scar and that he told her his name, she knew it. She was speaking about her lost love. She hesitated in her running. Not enough to actually trip, but enough to where she stuttered for a moment before continuing. At this point, she was sure that a few tears had moved out of her eyes that she wasn't expecting, but she couldn't help it. The man she knew was now changed and she couldn't help but think of what he told her to do.

While she was lost in her emotions, she apologized if it was someone she lost. She nodded towards her and then heard her tell her own story. She listened quietly and she couldn't believe it. Her story was so horrible. She had a bad past, worse than hers. She took a breath and looked towards Prime, running besides her. So, it seems like they were both troubled souls, dealing with issues. She still didn't know if she could trust her completely, but she didn't know why the woman would lie to her, especially since they didn't know of each other. "Thank you, Prime-san. Sorry for no honorifics the first time, my head wasn't on straight. Thank you for telling me about him. At least I have something to go on. Wait, do you sense something?" She stopped then and looked around, trying to figure out what she was sensing.

['Stalker']

She sighed just having the thought about the poor kid. She stood up straight and looked to her friend. She mentioned that they sensed something and this was trouble. She quickly looked around trying to observe the area. It was clear now that their patrol would pay off most likely. She scanned the area, rubbing her nose ring very slowly to motion herself if the threat was high that she would need it. She was self aware of the surroundings and was ready to proceed if may be.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

When Hotaru stopped, she tried her best to sense out what she was feeling. It was very hard to pinpoint, for her, but it honestly wouldn't take that long. After a few seconds, she saw a Garganta open up close by. It was opening up near the park so she motioned towards Prime and started to run full force towards the Garganta. It was weird that one was just opening up in the city, but there were only a few reasons she could think of for one to just open randomly. Hotaru knew how strong she was but had no idea how strong Prime was. She glanced behind her to the human running behind her and could just feel a large energy, with no idea how large it was.

Once the both arrived where the Garganta opened up, she watched as two Gillian stepped out of the Garganta. Where she stopped, she put her bag down on the ground next to her. She didn't want her stuff to spill. After she put it down, she unsheathed her zanpaktou and looked towards the human. "Prime-san, if you will take the one to my right and I'll take the other. I need to let out some frustration on this Gillian." After she told her what she wanted, Hotaru ran at the Gillian. She had no idea what the Gillian would do, but she would do as she had always done, fly by the seat of her pants.

The Gillian was staring her down and she saw the reiatsu starting to form around the Gillian's mouth. She knew that a Cero was coming towards her, but since she was heading towards its feet, she figured that the Cero wouldn't hit her. The stupid Gillian kept following her and when it let off its Cero, she was already running around behind it. So, the Cero it let fly hit down at the ground, but the power that it used in the Cero injured itself. It was starting to fall to the ground, so Hotaru used that to jump onto the Gillian's back, quickly run up its back and slice its mask from behind. She used the momentum from her sword slash to ride the Gillian's body all the way down. She landed and waited for Prime to finish with her Gillian.

['Stalker']

Prime just couldn't feel what was going on but Hotaru told her to start running and following her. She nods and quickly goes with her pace, arriving to the scene she finds some kind of gateway. What was this?! It was dark and it just oozed with a dark power. Suddenly, two towering figures would be seen leaving this gateway and stepping out. Only two of these creatures walked out? Shouldn't they bring an army? Either way, this was enough to startle her. Her eyes were wide and Hotaru could tell she was shocked to see such tall figures walking out in a powerful matter. She has never seen hollows like this before.

She bit down in her mouth and looked a bit angry. She slowly had her shadow blades come out as if she was an alien from the movie Predator. The blades were glowing like a dark lightsaber just like a dark aura was around them. The outline of the blades were glowing white but inside of them were black. She could swear that these damned creatures were stronger but luckily she hears it from Hotaru on what to do,"Prime-san, if you will take the one to my right and I'll take the other. I need to let out some frustration on this Gillian." This was enough to send Hotaru herself towards her share but then poor Prime was all alone.

Her gillian simply stared down upon her, just giving her a glare. Though unlike most Gillians she knows about, this one had a whether interesting mask from the other gillians. His mask was like a Roman Gladiator's helmet. It looked down upon her and this surely knocked the soul out of her. She stood there for several moments as suddenly the gillian just started to charge a cero. Her eyes widen and the Gillian fires a teal cero. She quickly bringer lights off and avoids the massive explosion. She bringer lights against a wall and pushes herself off. She is quickly flown in the air, quickly lands on the gillian's face, she stabs the blades into the creature's head.

She lets off an angry warcry and repeatedly stabs in and out of the hollow's mask. The Gillian attempts hard to snatch her with its mouth, trying to eat her alive but this was quickly not working just quite right. She presses her legs against the gillian's face and pushes herself off, landing perfectly on her feet. The gillian screeches and roars in pain as it falls over. Sadly, it was now suffering in pain but not from her stabbing but something else. Her blades leak a dark liquid as if her blades were poisoned. "Ms. Kuchiki, I will not allow this poor soul to die here like this. Send this soul off to the Soul Society where it can be free. If I finished it, I'd be killing it off right here." she said as her blades retract into her armored arms.

Very soft and odd for Prime to care for once on a poor corrupted soul's life. She slowly crossed her arms as she watches Hotaru slay the creature or whatever she may do to purify the soul. She slowly sighed and looked up at the sky, the clouds and such were dark as if rain was coming. It was turning into a black day out as finally the rain came down, she would fix her hair a bit to avoid it completely from getting ruined today. She doesn't mind herself getting wet but she was ready to proceed forward, "Alright Mrs. Kuchiki. Let's move on with our patrol." she says before walking off to a new direction. As soon as Hotaru caught up to her or whatever, she'd speed up quickly to continue the patrol.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru had noticed that it looked like Prime had not seen Hollows this big before. She herself had, but it was rare for her to find Gillians in the Human World. She was curious as to why they would even know to come here. The strength of them were really the only things she could think of. When Hotaru was done with her Gillian, she looked over to see how Prime was doing with hers. She smiled a little, watching the human fight the hollow. She missed the beginning of the fight, but she got to watch the end of it. It looked like she was able to handle herself. The swords, though, they were surprising to Hotaru. She had never seen anything like them.

The only swords she knew of were made of metal, like steel. Her zanpaktou wasn't technically made with regular steel or metal, but it still fell into that category. Hers, however, glowed. It was interesting. She touched her zanpaktou to see if Rivu~aiasan had any idea on what might be made out of the swords. His knowledge was limited as well. It seems that he had not heard of anything or seen anything like it before. So, they were both trying to figure out what the swords were made of, stumping each other, when it seemed like Prime had finished her Gillian. When Hotaru noticed the Gillian go down, she started to walk over towards Prime.

Prime then informed her that she wanted Hotaru to finish it off, so that the soul would go to Soul Society, since her ending it would destroy it completely. She only thought that happened when Quincies destroyed hollows. She now knew that when humans used their power against hollows, they destroyed the souls as well. Hotaru nodded towards the woman and walked quickly towards the Gillian. Once she reached the Gillian, she quickly sliced through the mask, watching as the soul slowly started to dissolve and watched the butterfly make its way towards Soul Society. She said a short prayer for the soul before turning around to face Prime again.

Hotaru slowly started to walk towards Prime and then felt the rain come down. Rain never bothered her, she just wiped her sword off quickly before her uniform got wet and sheathed it. She didn't want her blade wet. When Hotaru started to feel cold, she shook herself to try to get the excess water off her body. She knew that if she just kept moving, she would get warm in no time. Of course, if she needed it, Rivu~aiasan would help her. Prime then said it was time to move on and Hotaru agreed, following behind Prime. "Prime-san, I don't mean to pry, but what are your swords made out of? I have never seen anything like that material before. They have an almost eerie glow. Rivu~aiasan and myself like them a great deal."

['Stalker']

She would slowly make herself stop as she asked about her blades. She turned around, the ran pouring onto the two. She slowly extends her arms out and out comes the blade like the Predators with their blades. She gave her own blades a great glare that even she was just unsure of, "I'm... Not quite sure yet.... It's been thought that this is from my suit... But weirdly, it's not like your sword... It's just an item. It's my Shadow Blades." she says before bringing them back in. The materials off her suit lets off a fabric noise as she moves her arms. The suit was surely tight on her but it didn't bother her.

She turned back around, not facing the shinigami. She peered off into the distance where it was literally sightless to most because of the heavy downpour. She sighed and thought of that poor soul she's been trying to find. Her brother... She slowly begins to walk, not run at this point. "Come... I believe the hollows will ease their hunting parties for now... It's quite sad to say but this dark rainy day takes me back to when I had that heartbreaking moment in my life." she said as she continued to walk, hopefully Hotaru was behind her, following and passively listening along, maybe she could talk too.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru listened to her explain her blades to her. It seemed like they were a part of her suit and she called them shadow blades. Though, while she was putting them back away, she did say that they weren't like her zanpaktou, they were just an item. Well, weren't all weapons technically items? She had to admit that zanpaktous were pretty different from a normal sword, since they had part of the shinigami's soul in them, making them alive. On the same thought, she was curious if there were any other races that had something like the shinigami's zanpaktou.

It was then that Hotaru looked up from thinking to herself and saw that Prime was starting to walk away. She was moving slower than she had earlier, so there was obviously something on her mind. Hotaru easily caught up with her and started to listen to Prime as she talked. When she started to say that days like today remind her of the most heartbreaking moment of her life, Hotaru felt like she needed to do something. She walked up to the woman and hugged her. She didn't know what else to do to help her. "I am so sorry it happened to you, Prime. I have not had your troubles, but I gave up my life so my father could live."

['Stalker']

She sighed not trying to think about the thoughts. Personally, she's feeling a bit close to the shinigami. Too close... She would think twice on her thoughts about this shinigami. She had to remember who she was after that horrible day. She would slowly look across them, feeling the dark rain just falling on them. She would suddenly hear a phone ring. She'd quickly tap the watch on her arm, "Talk to me," she said out loud. Her watch device speaks under her wrists, "Prime, you requested back at HQ. A new assignment has popped up and it's urgent for you to take it," she looked back at the Shinigami.

"Rodger, I'll be there ASAP," and that's when she flicked the button. She turned to her, "I'm sorry to say this but we must cut our time together to an end, I have something urgent back at HQ but it was a pleasure to meet you." she said so quick. She lifted her hand up and quickly Bringer stealths off. It may be invisible to her maybe but she certainly swiftly left the area with a hurry. Jill slapped herself gently across the face as she left, "Damnit... Don't EVER trust them! Don't... TRUST THEM!" as she continued to traveled towards the Citadel-like tower... leaving Hotaru behind in the rain.

Hotaru ended the hug and looked at the girl, who seemed to be a little lost in her own thoughts. There backgrounds were different, but similar enough that she could point out things that she could relate to with this girl. So, Hotaru waited, not letting the rain bother her too much, more curious about what this woman was going to do in front of her. She just took a deep breath, letting her patience hold. It didn't take too long for something to happen. She heard a noise and before she could look around to see what it was, Prime answered.

When she answered with the talk to me, Hotaru assumed that it was something either really important or that she didn't really want to talk to the other party, so she said it that way to end the talk quickly. When she said she would be there ASAP, if Hotaru remembered correctly, it was short for 'As Soon As Possible.' So, obviously, whatever she was told over the phone was going to be pretty important. She apologized for leaving now and it was a pleasure to meet her. Hotaru nodded in agreement and before she could say anything, Prime was running off. Hotaru watched her go, opened the gates and walked through, wondering more about this girl and if she would see her again.
