She watched everything at a distance... YUP! This was the life but she wasn't out of this yet. She would watch as the doll exploded in the walls. Such a unique power... She had to keep that in mind and come up with counter solutions for a power like that if she ever had to kill that one. She stood up, the moon behind her back. "Now that's out of the way..." when suddenly something unexpected happened. The doll was an army then united into one giant figure. This shit is getting too old. She would slowly lift her head up as she hears about the 'the master'. So this thing is controlled by an individual?

This may be her time to shine. She'd feel her reiatsu particles tingling as she was waiting for it... Her suit was already on but it was time to actually pull forth her ultimate power... She'd crack her fingers and tap her boots gently together, "Shadow isles." and before long it would be sensed by everything possible around. She was going released officially. Within moments, she sunk into the shadowy depths of her world. Quickly going through the shadow isles. Her reality is now non-existent, she had been completely vanished away from the crowd but where? She stepped out of a shadow window and slowly stepped into her throne, taking a cozy seat down.

So, there's a master that commands the beast? Why don't we find his shadow and ambush him? She closed out the other trillion windows and focused mainly on all the humanoid shadows and shadows near those humanoids. It seemed she had located a few, the boy's was going on and off so it was hard to somewhat get to him. The giant hollow was the easiest to jump out of but the new arrival was somewhat easy too. She left herself out in the open for the moon to give her a shadow. Very nice....

Above all those, the hardest was the shinigami, traveling at a fast speed, it would be dangerous to leap out of her shadow. Why would she focus on those shadows? Right, she had to discover the one who commanded the damned creature. She scrolled with her eyes across all the windows, picking up anything that was moving and within a shadow. Also note too she could peer out of object's shadows with humanoids nearby but that would only be hard to see through that view. Jill awaited very patiently to find this individual. She wasn't going to let the Shinigami go in solo like a HERO. Heroes always get themselves killed after all.

Nathan felt the doll’s intentions right before it self-destructed. It didn’t intend to die at all, but rather cause damage. If he hadn’t known about the absorbing quality of Tsubaki’s walls, he would have been worried. Luckily, Nathan read clearly into the minds of everyone nearby. The doll’s displaced parts were going to reform while its clone lay lifeless on the ground after being taken down when it attempted to attack Nathan. The small child wanted to mourn, but there was no time for such luxuries. According to the Rogue Shinigami’s mind, there was someone controlling the doll. She wanted to cut him open, and so Nathan had to stop her.

With a two quick Shunpo, Nathan caught up to the woman and cut her ascent off. He could understand her intent perfectly. She was a scientist who wanted to progress her knowledge, but she was also too strong for Nathan. He wouldn’t be able to make her feel the same way that he did. His only chance to get her to understand would be talking to her.

“Um… Miss Tsubaki. Disecting the Bount is not the best way to progress science. They are artificial souls and can be remade in labs, so you don’t need to cut them open. Right now, so many people are sad, scared, hurt, and dead, and I really need your help with taking care of them, Miss Tsubaki. Can you help me?” Nathan didn’t truly understand most of what he was saying, for the words came from Tsubaki’s mind. He was just trying his best to convince her that violence was not the issue, and if he couldn’t convince her, he knew he failed.

Takara stood on the ground stationary as she watched purple tiny orbs of reiatsu fall to the ground. Her attention had been stolen after witnessing her sword slice through the head of the first doll by the explosion of the second one. Takara had senses the reiatsu of the rogue Shinigami rise and looked over just prior to the explosion and saw something that peaked her interest. There had been a box in the sky where the explosion had been location. Takara felt that there was more to support the fact that the rogue was the cause for the box and not the doll.

When Takara saw the side of the box though something came over her without even realizing it she had called on the Omega Arsenal and three different crystal structured spears were summoned on her sides. That was when the explosion had occurred and the box had been destroyed. It wasn't until after that occurred that Takara regained her focus and her attention shifted to the rogue. "She's dangerous and needs to be dealt with in the near future. Such a power will only cause problems for the future." For right now Takara felt the doll wasn't dealt with now sensing its reiatsu rising again.

She looked over and saw that the doll bodies were basically fusing together and actually growing in size now. Instantly the three spears that she had summoned subconsciously were launched from her sides right towards the doll. They moved at incredible speeds just as the doll was growing. The spears would impact the chest and head of the doll as it was growing. That was when Takara realized the others were moving away more then likely going after the Bount. "Fools this thing can only be damaged by reiatsu!" Takara knew she couldn't do anything other then slow this thing down. After witnessing her previous attack there was no doubt that physical attacks or methods of inflicting damage wouldn't work on the doll and only reiatsu could hurt it. The problem was Takara possessed no such techniques of abilities.

Well it seemed that the majority of everyone in the town that was trying to defeat the Doll and Bount went to find the Bount. While it grew in size the weaponry that the Mod Soul fired off at it pierced through its body leaving holes for a few moments until they seemed to heal. The holes simply were filled by the purple reiatsu that made up the Doll's body. That was when it say that the majority of the foes were rushing away from it which meant that they were after its master. All of a sudden the golden facial features began to glow again. After a few moments the same golden reiatsu beam was fired off towards all of the foes that were running away. Due to the size of the Doll now if they did nothing it was going to actually hit the rogue Shinigami the human and the strange boy from behind.

Whether they got away or not they were all getting close to the actual location of the Bount. He was held up in one of the buildings in the town that looked no different then any of the other homes. The difference was that the Quincy that had lived there were being held capture and constantly fed on by the Bount. All of them were locked up below the flooring of the building in a secret basement. If they got inside the house they would need to find the hidden entrance on the floor which could be anyway in the home. It had four rooms; a living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Once they found it though they would need to break in and battle the Bount himself.

Tsubaki stared at the small child, the small glowing boy, that stood in the air in front of her, begging for the Bounts life. This was the same boy that had foolishly defended the Doll, simply because he couldn't bear to see it hurt. And he wanted her to help him protect these people. What a foolish idea. She was a scientist for Xcution. She couldn't be bogged down by petty things like morality and a desire to not hurt people. That would be ill advised.

And yet, there was something about him that dragged doubt into her mind. His insistence that this action wasn't the best way to progress science. His point that she could simulate such behavior in a lab. That people were dying. "Don't go" a voice whispered in her head, a voice from years back. And Tsubaki felt something wet on her face. She brushed it off with the back of her hand, which was shaking slightly, as she was suddenly overcome with a sadness that she couldn't explain, that she couldn't remember the source of.

"I'm...I'm sorry. I don't really know what's happening to me right now. I appear to be malfunctioning." She replied, knowing how silly that sounded. Of course she realized that she was crying, but to acknowledge that, to show weakness, would just make her cry more. Better to play the robot than to admit that there was something under all of this that could feel bad. Better to have an immovable heart of flint than a meltable heart of gold.

"Let's focus on stopping the Bount, stopping him from hurting more people. We can discuss what to do with him after that." The compromise was the best she could offer without seeming weak, and she nimbly stepped around Nathan, and pursued her energy sensory. Oh, and of course, she dealt with the beam that shot towards them, casually summoning two Pride Walls, one in front of the other, behind Nathan. The beam would shatter the first one, and heavily damage the second, but wouldn't get through beyond that. She would trust that one of her comrades would deal with the beast beyond that.

She found the house that he was holed up in rather quickly, in fact, and picked a room at random, the living room, in order to search first. They needed to find the Bount and neutralize him, as soon as possible.

Nathan felt echoes from Tsubaki’s path resonate in her mind, though she never completely called the memory forward. Nathan just heard the voice as she had and nothing more, but that voice had some sort of powerful meaning for her. It brought her immense pain just to remember. She felt just like all people do, and Nathan knew at that moment that together, they could do it. There didn’t need to be bloodshed.

Luckily, Takara, the mod soul, was capable of holding the doll off on her own for the time being. Nathan learned from the knowledge of those around him, especially Tsubaki’s. A Bount’s doll wouldn’t die. The fighting would cause both parties pain, but as long as no one died, Nathan could manage. He and Tsubaki arrived by the Bount’s room. Nathan’s Flood would have reached the Bount before the two arrived, so the child would already have a peek into the stranger’s mind. He will try to use diplomacy to talk the Bount down using knowledge from the man or woman’s mind, and if the Bount planned to attack, Nathan would know beforehand and be able to dodge.

“Excuse me, Mister,” the child called into the house as he walked directly behind Tsubaki, knowing very well where the man was already. “Is it okay if we can talk to you for a little bit?”

Takara stood watching as the eyes of the doll began to glow. She hadn't seen the first time or the second time that the doll had utilized this technique, but just going off of what she was seeing she could guess what type of technique it was going to use and where it was aiming. As the golden beam of reiatsu was fired off at the Failure and the rogue Shinigami Takara ran along the side of the Doll. After the beam had clashed with the two walls that the rogue had put up Takara had moved behind the Doll. From that position she called on the Omega Arsenal and manifested four axes.

It only took her a few moments to actually succeed in her attack, but she manipulated the axes and hacked away at the ankles of the Doll. She knew that the body of the Doll was made of reiatsu and based on how it had been pretty much useless prior when her sword had cut clean through it's head Takara knew that even slowing this thing down right now was the best course of action she could take in order to aid these other entities. All she had to do was buy them enough time to find the Bount and kill him so the Doll could die alongside its master.

Well the majority of the strike force against the Bount it seemed were going to actually try and find the Bount now. They had their fill of dealing with his Doll and now it was time to actually deal with him and set an end to the plague of dark emotions he was setting on this town of Quincy. The golden reiatsu beam that the Doll had fired off was ineffective in dealing with the Rogue Shinigami and the strange glowing boy that seemed to be able to utilize the techniques of a Shinigami. When the both of them reached the house that the Bount was hold up in the Doll was being inflicted damage physically by the Mod Soul who was using axes now to chop at the ankles.

As the glowing boy and rogue stepped into the house they wouldn't see anyone inside. The rogue was inside the living room and while nothing would seem like a hiding place there was something a bit strange about the placements of furniture. There was a low sitting table and sitting mats all around it, but below the sitting mats was a large rug while the rest of the floor was wood. This would more the likely get both of them to believe that the Bount was hiding below the floor in that location. This Bount who in all the time he had been in the village hadn't been found and that's because he was smart and knew how to stay hidden.

This was a ruse and there was no doorway below the rug or anywhere else on the floor. The entrance to the secret room was in a place that no one had even given thought too. There was a tv stance with of course a tv on top of it that looked far to old or maybe just dusty and beat up. The stand had doors that were closed and most would just believe that there would be movies and other such things inside. Well all of them due to that believe hadn't looked and if either the Rogue or the boy did they would see upon opening it that the floor was hollow inside there and they would actually be able to just drop in from there into the darkness below.

As they would look around though they would hear a huge amount of noise come from outside. The sound of something massive hitting the ground and the crushing of wood as it was demolished into fragments. The Mod Soul had cut the Doll's feet off and caused it to fall to the ground. It's height had made it so the head actually hit the ground only about ten feet away from the house and now as the body of the Doll started to shrink the Doll rushed towards the house where its master was hiding.

The boy had sensed the Bount using his ability and it seemed he wanted to try and talk to him about everything. As his power would extend to the Bount the mind of the mutated human picked up the presence of the strange boy. He heard what he had to say and when he actually asked the Bount he would see the memories of the Bount as they flashed throughout his mind. Suddenly there was a young beautiful girl in a bright blue dress smiling at him. Then a ring, a bright day, smiling people, years and years of happiness. Then the torture and experimentation that Soul Society had done to him in order to turn him into a Bount. After all of these images and feelings went through the boy he would see a few final images. The image of the girl again much older as if two decades had gone bye. The girl now a woman with another man a baby and a life without the Bount. "Talking is for those that have something to live for boy. Killing is so no one has a reason to speak."

And upon seeing this Bount, this new face of failure, Tsubaki's newfound idealism crumbled. Because, awfully, she could see something terrifyingly familiar in the Bount. And his desire to double down, to kill people since he'd chosen to stop living, scared her. Because no matter how potent of an empath the boy was, no matter how endless their enthusiasm and optimism was, there was simply no way that they could get the Bount to step down, to stop hurting people.

Death was the only option. Tsubaki moved directly next to the Bount, and although she didn't use a step technique, she moved incredibly quickly, faster than the fastest sprinter alive had ever moved. She was in front the Bount before he or Nathan could blink, and put her hand to his chest lightly. She gazed into his eyes, and spoke softly, her voice sounding not like her own. "I'm truly sorry for what is about to happen, but it is for the best."

Her reiatsu flared, and Byakurai emitted from her hand, into the man's chest. However, Tsubaki's skill with Kido allowed her to alter the spell, and instead of burning a hole through the man's chest, she instead reformatted the Byakurai, so that it simply damaged his bioelectrical signals. His heart would beat once more, and then simply stop. Behind her, the doll that had come crashing through the house would likely dissipate, or rapidly fall down. It's master was dead. Tsubaki had killed him. "It was for the best," she whispered to herself, although no one could hear her.

With a single movement, she closed the man's eyes, and turned to Nathan. "Cast whatever judgement on me that you will. I did what was necessary. God help me." She walked to the door, steadily. One foot in front of the other. If Nathan wanted to stop her, hurt her, kill her, she wouldn't defend herself. She couldn't. But if he didn't, then she would leave. She couldn't bear to dwell on this anymore, not unless she was about to die.

The Rogue it seemed after finding the hiding place of the Bount didn't plan on wasting any time. The dark haired girl with glasses walked right up to the Bount who now was turning around in his wheelchair. As he turned around the female rogue and the strange boy would see that the Bount held the appearance of a very old decrypted man. It seemed like he was about to start saying something to the both of them when the rogue walked right up to him. The Bount appeared to try lifting his arms against her yet his fragile body didn't allow for it.

In the following moment the rogue cast her kido and the sight through the Bount's eyes began to fade. His hand grinned her wrist tightly for a moment as he attempted to drain her of her stamina, bodily fluids and life yet nothing was working. His gripped weakened as his head slowly tilted to the side and his breathing ceased. The Doll had moved in on the two and was right now just about to smash into the boy when it suddenly vanished marking the death of the Bount. That meant that everything and everyone in the village had been saved and the Rogue, Mod Soul and this strange boy could leave.
