Kazura, the Batman of Karakura, was working on his smartphone when he received a text message. At least... it looked like a text message. It almost reminded Kazura of Missing No. from his childhood, the way the characters looked garbled and encrypted. Expecting it to just be a very secretive work order, potentially giving him a great amount of entertainment and money. Lots of money. So, he opened up the text message. Whatever he accepted wasn't a request for things to be crafted for them. Whatever it was, he was whisked away from the world, leaving nothing behind.

Hotaru was walking around in Karakura Town on one of her day's off. It was nice to finally get a day to herself. Her new work load was pretty ridiculous. She was wearing a Gigai today, enjoying the looks she was getting from people. She always got looks from the color of her hair. But, it was her favorite thing about herself, so she smiled at all the people that were giving her looks. She just kept strolling around town, enjoying the fresh air.
Then, she heard a buzz from her phone. She checked the caller id on the front of her phone. Since it didn't really say anything, she flipped it open and it said she got a new text message. She had no idea who it would be from but she decided that she should read it. So, she scrolled to her inbox and opened up the new message. She was in the middle of reading it, until something amazing happened. She ended up getting whisked away from this world into a new adventure.

Locke Bladewright: high schooler, seventeen years of age, and overall, an uninteresting person. Always one for good grades but few social activities, Locke had always been one to sit apart from others, to become introverted, self-focused. Books and games were his refuge from the outside, worlds of their own into which he could simply disappear, tuning out all else. Nothing outside of them mattered; the fantasies, the worlds within his mind, were far more important. Tales of heroes, of monsters, of villains and of magic, along with love, loss, war, adventure; this life, this fantasy world that did not exist outside of the tales, yet Locke found himself absolutely absorbed in them. Life was simply left to drift along... until one day.
Beep!Incoming Text Message. Sender: Unknown.
Locke looked at his phone, confused by the alert. In this day and age, with digital IDs registered for just about every electronic device under the sun, he had somehow gotten an anonymous message. There wasn't even a return address, which was particularly bizarre. Curious, although he wondered if it was a virus or some kind of spam, the teen found himself flipping open his phone and opening the message. It was in vain, though; strange characters were arranged in text that he couldn't begin to decipher, let alone read, and Locke considered himself fairly above average in intelligence. Frowning, deciding it to be spam, he went to delete the troublesome message.
As his finger hit the key, however, a jolt of static electricity shot through his arm, causing Locke to freeze up. He flinched back, but couldn't remove his hand from the phone. Light began to fill his vision, and the world around him started to blur before fading to an endless wall of white.

Kamina Kisuke Uraharu: A lawyer for a large firm in Shinjuku. He was very popular in the law world, and had a reputation that spanned the world, operating out of more than just japan; he was a traveler, for sure. Despite his fame, he was a calm, humble man whose intelligence didn't have any sort of arrogance or anything like that outside of the courtroom. He was efficient, and a nice guy, and had a lot of friends, not having to step on toes to get to where he was. Secretly, he had a thing for online gaming and manga, something that he had always kept hidden due to the nature of his profession; he was 22 years old.
At the back of his limo, he was tapping away at the handheld game he had bought a while back. Or, rather, he had one of his butlers buy. The screen froze, however, and when he tried to turn it off it...didn't, just giving off a loud screech into his headphones, making him rip them out.
The image of his character and the giant monster he was hunting was replaced with a dark black screen, before it was replaced with blue, and digital code filled it, before the lines stopped and one part in particular were highlighted. Whatever it was, he didn't know code that well, and even if he did he still may of had trouble deciphering it so quickly. The screen turned white, then, and finally electricity shot from the screen, covering his body and freezing him in place. He didn't know what was going on, but soon his body glowed, and he was sucked into the handheld.

Trevelyan D. Devereux: An ex international boxer for the World Boxing Federation (WBF). He was an international sensation. In his last match nearly a year ago, he had ended someone's life by not stopping in a fight. Charges were dropped but the media quickly reported on the incident. There was a large controversy and law suits filed for the WBF. Trev quit soon afterwards, bumming around with the money he has made. He generally indulges in drink and partying now. His life has become a waste where he allows himself to get shoved around or punched. He doesn't want to raise his fist for anything nor anyone. Being 23, he had his whole life ahead of him. However, he chose to laze around on his couch this particular day. He laid inside his empty mansion, at least he had a paid off house and cars. He had strange long orange hair and brown distant eyes. He wore a red hoodie and grey dotted shorts.
He let out a soft sigh as he fiddled around with his phone on this particular day. There was no service, he hadn't paid the bill in over a few months. It wasn't that he didn't have the money, its just that he lacked the motivation for anything. He played a popular game called Monster Machine Mayhem for the COS (Orange Phones). On this particular day of play, he saw his phone turn green, code of numbers lining the screen. His eyes narrowed, fixated upon the strange sequence of numbers. He arose from his seated position, his brows furrowed. Suddenly, the screen began to glow blue and emit a piercing blue light. The radiant light enveloped him completely. Moments later, he was absorbed into the phone and felt like he was being transported somewhere else; a distant lad awaited.

((Phoneposting! Yaaaaay... I'm not too late for this right? For the purposes of this thread, this takes place after Living People))
Taien Hadohou, also known as the Sunshine Slenderman, sighed. This was odd, as Taien generally near constantly presented a happy, cheerful front to the world. Except, untill now, it hadn't been a front. It had been a prison. On what was supposed to be a visit to one Kazura Uzaki, a.. blockage of Reiatsu was found in Taien's brain. While not fatal in the slightest, it did heavily suppress his emotions, to the point he could feel nothing but joy and happiness.
Well that got shattered, and here Taien was, walking around Karakura Town, on leave to get himself back together. Nothing was supposed to happen, really. He was here to relax. Well, until his 'cellphone' got an odd message... And then the laws of physics decided to go screw off as Taien was forcibly yanked in to the phone. It was vaguely nostalgic, oddly enough.

Christoph had been passing by a T.V. in the middle of the town when he saw static and then strange letters appear on the screen. He was memorized as they seemed to call out to him. He pressed his fingers against the screen and soon he was sucked into it. As he fell into the digital world a rainbow of colors started to flood past his eyes and sights he had never seen. This lasted for a few moments until he hit the ground. Laying on the ground he stared up into the jungle he had been transported into, however there was something odd about this place as there were colors that shouldn't exsist in the air seemed to hover there and act as part of the world.
Keyword: Magic All seven of the chosen ones fell from their world into the digital world, where they fell was up to fate, some would be close by to another human while others would be scattered across the land. Three people would land in the digital forest, one would land in an open digital prairie, two unlucky souls would end up in the middle of a desert. Chris himself landed in the digital jungle all by himself. However no matter where they landed they would soon find that they weren't alone. Each one would be greeted by a small digimon holding a small black digivice that was circular in shape. They would state who they were and where they were now.
OOC: The evolution path for your digimon has already been made up by me to fit along with the story. When it calls for it a divolution will happen and I will let you guys know what the next step in their evolution is. Note you can choose to keep them in a higher form if you want to.

"Oh... Spirit King... my head... Didn't hurt nearly as much when I did it last time- guh!" With a loud 'pop!' Taien worked the kink out of his back as he stood up. Seriously, the last time he was transported in to a computer world, he wasn't dropped on his back of all things! On top of that, he felt... heavier. That was an odd feeling, and one that had Taien a little apprehensive of. Concentrating, he summoned his Reiatsu... Or attempted to. Nothing came out. His Reiatsu... was there, but it was really, really heavy. Like, were his Spiritual Reserves equivalent to a body of water, it felt as if it was as heavy as the depths of the oceans themselves. Fitting considering how much Reiatsu Taien normally had. Sighing, and resigning to whatever odd situation he found himself in, Taien took a look at his current surroundings.
Which didn't take very long, considering he was in a prairie. Grassy rolling hills and an acute lack of any life in any direction... Hmm. Resigned as he was, he did have to admit it was a very pretty place. A small smile played across his face as his sense of doubt faded away, replaced with a contented feeling. Unlike what he had been feeling until recently this was... more natural. A result of his actual character showing through, instead of simply being exaggerated to the point of nightmares. He was a naturally positive guy, and while his... state still haunted him in his dreams, he had no trouble expressing positive emotions. Or negative, for that matter. It just wasn't in his nature to be negative for too long. Nodding to him self once, Taien decided to head in a random direction... Until he found that he wasn't actually the sole living thing for miles. Namely, there was now a talking candle with a face, with a flame on its head, that also had a face.. Needless to say... this was one of the least surprising thing's he'd encountered in his life.
"Oh? Whatcha doing there, little guy? What are you doing all the way out here in nowhere?"
"Ka! My name's Candlemon! We can skip the introductions, I already know who you are Taien! Kahaha! Taien Hadohou! I'm yer new partner! Pleased to meetcha, ka!"
Before Taien could say anything, the little candle-thing held something out in front of it, towards Taien.
"Kahaha, this is important! It's yer Digivice! Keep it with you, and I'll get more power, enough to protect you and myself! And whoever else we choose to protect, kahahahah! Speaking of other people, we're in the middle of the Digital Prairie right now, we've got a long way to go to find the others! Let's go, let's go! We're burning the midnight oil! KAHAHAHA!"
Taien was a bit overwhelmed, but he eventually settled on a smile as he shook his head lightly. He accepted the Digivice, attatched it to his hip on a loop, and began walking in... whatever direction Candlemon pointed them in. He knew the area better than Taien did after all.

Hotaru landed pretty hard on the ground. She had landed on her back and was looking up into the blue sky. She took a minute before she actually got up and looked around. She was feeling the air in this place and it was like nothing that she had ever felt before. She grabbed her head, trying to clear it. She knew that she had been in Karakura Town. She knew what she was used to feeling there and here, was completely different.
She still didn't know how in the hell she got here. When she got up, she felt empty almost. She couldn't feel her Reiatsu like she used to and she couldn't hear Rivu~aiasan. But, she then started to look around and noticed that this was an insanely dense forest. She looked all around, trying to figure, or even see, a way out and saw nothing. Well, since she didn't have any of her newfound powers that she had gained, she figured she could use what she already had.
She walked a few paces in the forest until she ran into a little purple creature. He looked up at her and it looked like he had a smile on his face and ran up to her, carrying something in his little paws. It was all purple, besides white feet and paws, nice looking claws and what looked like a red gem on its head. "Hotaru Kuchiki! I've been waiting for you! My name is Dorumon and I'm your partner! Here, take this!" She bent down, smiled at it and took the electronic device.
"It's a Digivice. It'll help me grow strong so we can defeat our enemies! But, we need to find the others. FOLLOW ME!!" It started to run off in a direction and Hotaru ran to keep up with him. So, there were others here that they needed to find. She let her new partner lead the way, hoping she wasn't walking into a trap.

A large rift in the sky opened, purple and bluish in nature with a lot of lines of code swirling around it. It was actually pretty neat looking, really, yet the one that fell from it wasn't really focused on admiring how pretty it looked. In fact, he was probably more worried about what would happen when he hit the ground, considering he was very high up and pretty unable to fly or survive falling several feet.
He fell face first into a sand dune, perfectly fine. Actually, he thought, that didn't make much sense, but he was pretty glad that this particular fall didn't kill him. He coughed up some sand, spluttering as he tried to get the taste out of his mouth, before collecting his bearings and standing. He looked around, carefully, trying to figure out where he was. Honestly? He could remember what happened before all of this, but none of that really made any sense.
He was in this desert, and before he knew it he was met with something wiggling in the sand. If he remembered all the games and movies he had seen, he could understand that when something wiggled underneath the sand, it was usually pretty bad. So, he did what any other would do, and got a big rock and threw it at this thing. He was in really good shape and tall, so he always felt good about the strength he had. Unfortunately, the thing underneath the sand let out a yelp of pain, before it stopped moving for a few moments. He waited.
The thing jumped out, drawing it's kendo stick and looking around, clearly not appreciating that attack. Before he knew it, the thing looked at him, closely with those glowing red eyes beneath that mask, before moving back to the spot of the sand it was hiding in before, as if it were looking for something very important.
"Eh...what are you? And what are you looking for, little kendo dinosaur dragon thing..."
The thing paused, grabbing something quickly and moving over to Kamina. Weird.
"H-hi! I'm, er, Kotemon." The strange thing held up a round black thing. "T-take this...it's very important..."
Kamina, baffled, took the strange thing regardless.
"I'll be your partner in this world...and you'll need this digivice in order to make me stronger. Keep it safe..."

Materialization. Out of no where the blue orb began to open a rift between the two dimensions; forcing Trevelyan from out of the rift. He tumbled, doing some rolls until he fell on to his back. He looked as bored as ever as his eyes opened, but that pain was a bit too much of a hassle for him. A shadow was soon caste over him over the beating sun. He narrowed his eyes until it came into view...it was a f*cking lego. He blinked a few times, looking at it. He hadn't gotten drunk or high as far as he could remember...right? He looked at it and it looked back at him. Maybe he really was high..or in some lego land. It was then that the thing spoke.
"Hi I'm ClearAugumon!"
The man blinked a few times. What the hell was going on here? DID THAT LEGO JUST TALK!? He looked up at it, getting to a sitting position. He looked around to see nothing but sand. "What..the hell are you? Why are you talking to me?" Yup, he was in a desert talking to a lego; he was high. The thing went on to explain all this jibber jabber about digimon and all this other crap. Trev took out a lighter and a smoke and started huffing it. The thing handed him some piece of crap Iphone or something that looked too old to be from this time. "Yeah sure whatever...". Trev spoke back.

“So... are you going to wake up anytime soon?”
The world seemed to spin as Locke's eyes opened, light filling his vision in patches. Reaching up and pushing his glasses out of the way, the boy rubbed at his eyes, trying to clear his vision as he sat up. The crunch of grass beneath him caused him to pause, and he took a look around, taking stock of his situation. Spots still filled his vision, but after a moment, Locke realized that he wasn't in his bedroom. Indeed, he wasn't even in a building; instead, the boy found himself sitting in thick grass in the middle of a large forest. Trees rose up on all sides, forming a thick canopy above him, though there were large gaps that sunlight shone through.
“Oh good, I was afraid that all you humans did was sleep.” Locke whirled at the sound of a voice, only to spot a creature perched on a rock nearby. It was the size of a small dog, red in color, with a row of spines down its back. It was nothing like any animal that he had seen before, yet Locke found himself more intrigued than frightened. Actually, he wasn't frightened at all; this was all so fascinating, like something out of one of his books. His lack of surprise seemed to annoy the creature, however, as it frowned, taking a seated position as it did so. “Oh man, I don't even get the fun of a proper shocked reaction. I must have gotten a dud human.”
“And you appear to be a dog with an attitude problem. Or whatever you are. But what do you mean you've 'gotten' a human?”
“I'm a Digimon, you doofus, not a dog! I don't even know what a dog is.” The creature let out a huff of annoyance. “My name is Elecmon, and whether we like it or not, we're partners. You and me work together, do things, yada yada. Don't ask me how this whole destiny thing works.” Suddenly Locke found a small bag thrown at him, one that could be hooked on his belt to hang at his side. Uncoordinated as he was, he failed to catch it and the bag fell to the ground, much to Elecmon's obvious disgust. “I couldn't get a good human, could I...”
Inside the bag was a single item, a small metal device that could fit in the palm of Locke's hand. About the size of a compass, perhaps a little smaller, the apparatus had no apparent function that the boy could discern at a glance. A few presses of the buttons yielded nothing immediate either; what exactly was it? “And this is...?” The Digimon seemed annoyed at the question, his pointed ears twitching violently to match his mood. “Your Digivice, and your last question while we're at it. C'mon, I thought I saw some other humans around here.” Elecmon certainly had a bit of an attitude, but Locke figured that it couldn't hurt to follow the little creature. He didn't know where he was, or what was going on, but if there were other humans around, perhaps they could help.
“Man... this is just like out of a book or something...”

Kazura found himself landing in a ruined city, far from any other sort of life. The inventor had been stripped of all his technology in the transition to the digital world, leaving him wearing nothing but a tattered T-shirt and jeans. Barefoot among scattered rubble, the fullbringer attempted to smooth the rough ground with Soul command, only to fail. Without any of his abilities or powers, Kazura was reminded of how he used to be before meeting Souza. He had dealt with unknown situations before he had taken up the power of reiatsu, and he would do so again.
Scrambling to find a patch of grass or a garden or something around the ruins of the city, so to relieve his feet from pressing into the rubble, he didn't have to look hard. Finding some grass, he began to craft some temporary foot bindings out of the plants. After finishing, he stood up quickly when he heard the grinding of gears around the corner. Becoming defensive due to the fact he had no idea what to expect in this unknown environment, he was shocked to see a set of floating gears headed towards him with a smile.
Clutched in some sort of a hand like gear was a bag that was tossed to Kazura. Not one to leave presents on the ground, Kazura opened the bag to find a neat little device inside. A small display had a message running across it.
"Hi. I am Hagurumon and I am your digimon, Kazura. I don't talk but I will communicate through your digivice that you are reading now. Follow me."
Not having any other choice, Kazura followed the set of gears wherever it was headed.
Christoph stood up, his mask covering his face as he saw the new place he was in. There was nothing that seemed to be right, yet he was amazed at all the colors he was seeing, the pinks and blues seemed to glow bright in the air without belonging to anything at all. This place was truly a wonderland for an artist, even the trees seemed to be different than the normal everyday trees. Even for a jungle this was a strange place, but he didn't care, he had a drawing pad next to him and a pencil to draw everything he saw. He had his fullbring if things went wrong, or so he thought.
That's when he heard a rustling in the bushes nearby he grabbed his mask with one hand and willed for his fullbring to activate, yet it didn't work. Nothing happened, there was no suit over his body to protect him, what was this? Why couldn't he use his fullbring? The feeling of being helpless again was terrifying, what was wrong with this world, what was wrong with him. He took a step back and fell to the ground and watched in horror as something walked out of the bushes towards him. However instead of being a horrible monster it was a cute small little koala like entity with a bag. It yawned before tossing the bag to Christoph.
“Hey partner.....ZzzZzzZZ... I’m your digimon Phascomon... ZzzzzZZzzz... let's get going that way...ZZzzzZZzzzZZ... but carry me there I'm sleepy..zzzzZZzzz”
The strange creature had a habit of dozing off as he spoke, which was ok by Christoph, the direction he had pointed seemed to have less trees and more grass. Slowly looking through the bag he found a few things, one thing he really found interesting was a small black device that looked like an old electronic, it had a belt clip, so he clipped it onto his belt . As he walked over to pick up the strange animal and hold it in his arms the device started to glow and buzz.
Everyone had met their digimon, but did anyone know what that really meant? No, some could but most wouldn't even know where to start with questions and the like. Well they would get some answers from someone very soon. As soon as they all had their digivice in their hand they would all see a glowing light from it and a hologram of an old man would shine out from the digivice. The man was clearly in his late sixties if not older and if he was standing in front of them he would be no taller than five feet.
“Hello, hello can you hear me? Oh good I’m coming out clear, well hello there, I'm Gennai. Welcome to the digital world. You all have been chosen to be the new DigiDestined. I know you all have many questions, don't worry they will be answered in time, but it's not safe to talk out in the open like this. The digimon will lead you to my base. See you then.”
As sudden as he appeared he vanished, the digimon would continue to try to get all of them together. However they wouldn't be going towards Gennai's base, no instead the digimon would have them all end up in a large toy like town. They would all arrive around the same time, but have plenty of time to talk with their digimon in the meantime. Hotaru would meet up with Locke soon as they would pass one another. The rest of the digidestined would group up as they exited their zones and headed towards the toy city. However as they walked they would notice that from time to time there was a blank area that had static around it.
(OOC: anyone in a zone without another person can run into anyone they wish who is alone as well)
