{Class 5 Techniques}Technique Name: Spinne-Falle (Spider Trap)
Class: 5
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Usable By: Free Quincy Only
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Casting a veil of Reiatsu over them, the user is able to wreath themselves in a fine, web-like substance that covers them from head to toe, leaving only the bottom of their feet uncovered. This web does nothing to absorb attacks or negate damage; instead, it is meant to serve as a trap for those who would come into physical contact with a Quincy, snaring them within the range of whatever countermeasure the user has planned. When touched, this web adheres to the person touching it, connected to the main mass like an extended mass of threads. Once caught in this web, the victim's range of movement is limited to moving a number of feet equal to 10% of their Strength or Reiatsu Strength, whichever is higher, away from the user. This web has a durability equal to the user's Reiatsu Strength as it comes to avoid being severed, but will not stop the user from being injured.
How to use technique:
Draw Reiatsu into a mass of spiritual strands, and then cast the web over one's body.
Technique Drawbacks
This technique costs 100 Reiatsu to activate initially, and requires 50 Reiatsu spent per post to maintain it. This technique can be severed by having even a single point of offensive superiority to the web's durability, allowing the user to be freed. But more importantly, those with a superiority in Strength to the user's Reiatsu Strength can actually drag their victim around instead of tearing free, turning the tether against its user.

{Class 4 Techniques}Technique Name: Schlagen (Beat)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Usable By: Free Quincy Only
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Drawing in Reiatsu similar in nature to the Blut technique executed by Vandenreich Quincy, the user coats their skin in a layer of spiritual energy that is primed to trigger upon physical contact by another person without discrimination between friend or foe. When contact is made, a pulse of Reiatsu explodes outwards, shoving the offender backwards with a force equal to half of the user's Reiatsu Strength. Possessing superior offensive stat will allow one to make contact and suppress the pulse of Reiatsu, preventing it from knocking them away.
How to use technique:
Draw Reiatsu into the skin, priming it to erupt outwards on contact.
Technique Drawbacks
This technique costs 150 Reiatsu to activate, and 100 Reiatsu per post to maintain, but can only be maintained for up to five posts or five contacts, whichever comes first. Each time this technique is used in a single thread without an extended rest period, it creates a larger strain on the body; on the second use, the body's muscles will ache slightly, as though tired from exertion. On the third use, they will begin to hurt severely, starting to tear wherever contact is made, and on the fourth, they will completely tear in the area touched, and bones will begin to fracture in that area. Finally, on the fifth or beyond, the bones will actually shatter if the effect is triggered. Finally, this technique does not stop attacks; though it repulses those who touch the user, the effects of their touch still applies, such as a punch still leaving its impact on the user.

{Class 3 Techniques}Technique Name: Starkung Schneide (Strengthening Blade)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Usable By: Quincy Only (Vandenreich)
Technique Element: Various
Technique Description and Effects:
A technique used atop the Hohle Schneide technique, Starkung Schenide is an ability that allows the user to manipulate the spiritual energy being formed into their sword, altering its form and effects into that of an elemental nature. While the sword is no longer able to draw in spiritual particles, it takes on the Class of this technique, along with an effect chosen from the list below. When initially learned, the user can pick two of the properties, and switch between them freely at a cost of 100 Reiatsu each switch. When mastered, two more properties can be added to the list for a total of four that can be alternated as needed at the same cost. Once chosen, properties cannot be changed. The properties available are as listed before:
Wind – The blade has a small, ever-present motion of air around it. On contact with the sword, the blade lets out a small repulsive push with force equal to the user's Reiatsu Strength, making it easier to parry and redirect blows.
Fire – The blade is alight with a blue flame that flickers along its length, and though it doesn't seem to let off heat, the weapon is searing to the touch, causing intense burns when it slices into a foe.
Lightning – Electrical energy crackles up and down the length of the weapon's blade, and upon contact, will transfer this energy along any medium that can conduct it, such as the blade of another sword, electrocuting the victim.
Sound – The blade seems to vibrate constantly while this property is active, and when swung, will release a wave of vibrating, shrieking air that is meant to deafen the victim, leaving those with 50 or more Senses with a ringing in their ears, those with 150 or more Senses with a sharp pain and a piercing squeal in their hearing, and those with 250 or more Senses to be deafened for a post.
Ice – The weapon's blade turns a frigid blue color, and the air around it seems to sharply drop in temperature. On striking a physical object, this blade leaves a coating of frost over it that lowers temperature drastically, and upon striking water causes it to freeze over directly.
Metal – Though the blade doesn't seem to change much, the density of it has improved and become more sturdy, requiring double the user's Reiatsu Strength to shatter the sword, though no other effects are given.
Light – The blade of the weapon glows with a brilliant, blinding light, and when swung, a bright burst of light almost like a camera's flash goes off, temporarily damaging the vision of those who are looking at it.
Poison – The blade begins to secrete a light-green liquid that is toxic if it enters the body; upon successfully cutting a foe, they become sickened, feeling nauseous and dizzy as the poison spreads through their body. After fifteen posts, they will collapse, and each successful cut after the first will decrease the remaining time by two posts. This can be resisted with superior offensive stat, or a Poison Resist of 2 or higher.
How to use technique:
When forming a Hohle Schneide, the user alters its composition, preventing it from absorbing new spiritual particles but instead taking on a new form altogether.
Technique Drawbacks
This technique costs 400 Reiatsu to activate initially, and 150 Reiatsu per post to maintain. Additionally, switching between properties costs 100 Reiatsu per switch. This technique can only last for up to five posts total, and after that, the weapon explodes violently, unleashing its effects or just simply stabbing through victims with shards of the blade in an area equal to one foot in radius for every 100 Reiatsu Strength the user possesses. This can even afflict the user if they are not careful. Additionally, if the weapon is destroyed prior to this five-post period, it explodes just as if the timer had expired.

Technique Name: Glaube (Faith)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Usable By: Free Quincy Only
Technique Element: Light
Technique Description and Effects:
By concentrating and focusing their Reiatsu, a Quincy can manifest it in the form of a pair of wings that glow with a blinding yet ethereal light that each extend out five feet in length, designed in an appearance unique to each user. These wings, while beautiful, are also functional, providing full flight to the user that allows for movement through the air. Additionally, these wings are solid enough to be used a shield, if brought around to the user's front, bearing a durability equal to the user's highest spiritual stat. If mastered, this durability is increased by 50%, making them a useful shield against direct attacks, though they will not reduce impact or knockback, merely damage, meaning that an airborne Quincy can find themselves flying earthwards by a powerful foe.
How to use technique:
Gather Reiatsu around the body, and then release it in the form of glowing wings that can be controlled mentally.
Technique Drawbacks
First, this technique requires an appropriate 400 Reiatsu to start, and requires a payment of 200 Reiatsu per post to maintain. It cannot be maintained for more than ten posts without a four-post rest after the end of the technique, however, and a second use will only last for five posts if the four-post rest is not taken. At the end of that five posts, the technique is unusable without a six-post rest. Finally, though the wings can block direct damage, they cannot block the momentum of such attacks, meaning that it is easy to send a Quincy flying if they are not careful about a foe's attacks.

Technique Name: Geist Pfeil (Spirit Arrow)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Usable By: Quincy (All)
Technique Element: Various
Technique Description and Effects:
When drawing upon their Letze Stil, a Quincy normally forms arrows of loose spiritual particles that are present in the area around them. However, this technique draws upon a different sort of spirit, using the user's own energy to form their arrows. Doing so alters the arrows in a unique way, allowing them to manifest in a form based on the user's spirit and personality, taking on properties that are different than a standard piercing arrow. This can even be used with the Versteckte Pfeil technique that allows a Quincy to fire arrows even without the use of their bow, with much the same results.
When this technique is learned, the user can pick one element and one effect from the lists below that matches their personality, and their arrows, when formed with this technique, will embody those traits. These cannot be changed upon learning. Mastering this technique advances both the elemental and effect properties to new forms, which will be listed in each individual category, but also increases the cost. Fortunately, the user can choose between the advanced and basic forms based on the situation of battle. Additionally, both Elemental and Effect traits do not need to be used simultaneously; one can embody an arrow with just one as needed.
How to use technique:
Draw Reiatsu from the body in order to form an arrow, based on the spirit.
Technique Drawbacks
This technique costs 400 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Additionally, while activating the properties is costless, the advanced forms increase the cost of the arrows noticeably. Only one arrow possessing these properties can be fired at a time, and until that arrow hits something or is destroyed cannot be used, requiring the user to use normal arrows. Upon mastery, this is increased to two arrows able to be fired at once. Only arrows equal to or lower than the Class of the user can be fired, and any attempt to use stronger will cause the arrow to explode and create a rebound that damages the user's spirit, dealing incredible pain to them on a spiritual and physical scale. Finally, arrows using properties this technique overwrite a Bow Release's properties, including the ability to be guided and split aside from the Split property.

Fortunately, the user can choose between the advanced and basic forms based on the situation of battle. Additionally, both Elemental and Effect traits do not need to be used simultaneously; one can embody an arrow with just one as needed.
{Elemental Properties}Fire – An arrow released with this property will burn with incredible heat, and striking a target even with a grazing blow will leave a burn serious enough to cauterize the wound, often leaving these arrows embedded in seared and burning flesh. When advanced through mastery, this advances from simple heat to energy, forming bolts like lightning that move that much more quickly, snapping through the air and piercing through that which they strike. This advanced form causes an arrow to move 25% faster than normal, traveling at 1000 speed, and if it successfully pierces a defense even slightly, it will pierce all the way through due to sheer momentum. This doubles the cost of the arrow.
Water – An arrow released with this property takes on the form of a solid, but dampened arrow, yet the liquid does not hinder its flight in the slightest. However, this water does have an effect on the arrow, blunting the point and causing the fired shot to no longer pierce through that which it strikes. Though it does not pierce, the blunt trauma caused from the force is calculated using the user's Reiatsu Strength as though it were like Strength, instead allowing for severe impact damage. When advanced through mastery, these arrows actually freeze over, and spread that cold to the area struck, freezing an area equal to six inches in radius for every 200 Reiatsu Strength the user has if it hits a spiritual being or a protected object, or two feet in radius for every 200 Reiatsu Strength the user has if it hits an unprotected environmental area. This doubles the cost of the arrow.
Wind – An arrow released with this property is unusual in that it is narrow, thinned down in a way that streamlines it and makes it harder to see than a standard arrow, making evasion more difficult. Those who do not have at least 100 Senses cannot even see the arrow, and those with less than 150 have a hard time tracking its trajectory, meaning that accurate blocking and countering is much more difficult, requiring the target to dodge. This arrow still stands out to Energy Sensory normally. When advanced through mastery, these arrows gain an aura of Reiatsu around them that is still invisible to the eye, but reduces wind resistance dramatically, increasing the speed of the arrow by 50%, making it travel at 1200 speed. This doubles the cost of the arrow.
Stone – An arrow released with this property is heavier than normal, the shaft thicker and the head a rounded, yet solid point whose intent is to strike with blunt force. This allows for blunt trauma with the force of the user's Reiatsu Strength as these arrows strike, rather than piercing through what they strike. These arrows are more solid than the average arrow, possessing 25% more durability than normal to avoid being destroyed in mid-flight, but as a result are 25% slower, traveling at only 600 speed. When advanced through mastery, these arrows grow points along them that look almost like thorns, and when they strike an object, whether it is a foe or the environment, they explode and send those shards of sharp stone in every direction, each moving at the same speed as the arrow but with half the Reiatsu Strength behind them, allowing for damage even on a missed shot. This doubles the cost of the arrow.

This doubles the cost of the arrow.
{Effect Properties}Spread – An arrow released with this property will automatically split into five copies of itself, all bearing the same properties as the original, but with only 75% of the Reiatsu Strength behind them. When advanced through mastery, the number of arrows from the split increases to a full ten arrows, still at 75% Reiatsu Strength each. This increases the cost of the arrow by 50%.
Riccochet – An arrow released with this property can, at the user's choice, rebound off of an object in the direction of the user's choice up to twice before activating its properties or simply piercing through the target as a normal arrow, allowing for even a miss to be redirected into a surprise attack. When advanced through mastery, the number of bounces increases to three. This increases the cost of the arrow by 50%.
Class Up – An arrow released with this property is treated as though it possesses a Class one higher than normal, without increasing the cost. When advanced through mastery, the arrow is treated as though it possesses a Class two higher than normal. This increases the cost of the arrow by 50%.
Draw In – An arrow released with this property draws in Reiatsu as it flies, allowing it to absorb 10% of the offensive strength of any spiritual techniques that come within twenty feet of it, making the shot that much more powerful. When advanced through mastery, this absorption is increased to 25%. This increases the cost of the arrow by 50%.
