It was past midnight at the time. It was past midnight and yet the city should have been more alive in that moment than it had been all day. It was as if all those within that Downtown district had planned to be away tonight. The streets were bathed in the bright glow of those tall street lamps, which lined every major street. People should have been bustling around, talking fervently about their days. Couples were supposed to be all over, crowding the streets as they headed towards whatever venues suited their fancies. On most nights like this, everyone went about their business. Everything should have been normal. But tonight, things were completely different.
Within the shadows, where the piercing light of the street lamps could not reach, there was something else going on. No one was any wiser to what happened there. It was a world of its own. Within the shadows, where the light didn't reach, a second world had developed. The world of the underground. It was here where organizaed crime took place. It was here where druglords lived. It was here where they thrived. In that underground world, there were no laws. Anyone could do as they pleased. And it was here where a certain man chose to make his business within this city.
"I assume you have it?" asked the voice of a man standing within the shadows. The one whom he was talking to, a male figure, fidgeted. That one was unable to give an answer to the question that had been asked. "So, is that a yes or a no?" the speaker asked again. The voice was calm, cool, and collected. There was no harshness to the words and one could sense a hint of enjoyment in the voice when it spoke. The figure stepped out from the shadows, so that the one who had been questioned could better distinguish whom it was that was asking such a question. In the dim light of that narrow alley, the figure's eyes seemed to glow faintly. The white gloves on the figure's hands glistened under the dim light of the moon illuminating the meeting between two such shady individuals.
"Ah....no matter then. If you won't answer, I'll just have to get it some other way..." the figure said. Stepping forward once more, the figure could no longer be shrouded fully by the darkness of that alleyway. The formal clothing which he wore seemed out of place for such a meeting. Especially in a place like this. "I didn't let you test them for free, ya know?" The figure's mouth curled into a smile and the white teeth--eerily illuminated against the blackness shrouding the two--became visible. The teeth elongated, and the figure once more stepped forward.
Jin launched forward, his arm grabbing the man's shoulder, before he prepared to sink his teeth into the glistening flesh covering the neck. Just before he could taste the man's sweet sustenance, he stopped. He pushed the man away and quickly reached into the pocket of his trenchcoat. He withdrew nothing, however, and simply kept the hand there as he spun around. Casually, he smiled upon turning and his eyes lit up at the one present before him. "Seems like you're in the wrong neighborhood, ol' chap. You'd best make an about turn and go skipping away from here. Otherwise, there could be some real trouble..."

Item Ability: [When dragged across the user's weapon to cause friction, an aura of ghostly, transparent (but still colored) reiatsu will materialize around the user's weapon. This allows the weapon to do battle with other weapons that are also using the coating ring, and also gives it an increased amount of cutting ability for striking defenses and cutting attacks. So long as the user has this ring worn, attacks and defenses will be coated in this aura. The aura is equivalent to 100% of the user's reiatsu strength.]

Soul Gauge This is a very useful item, indeed. Possibly one of the most useful items ever made. This is a small portable device in the form of a wristwatch. Design is completely up to the user, as it is built on the user's request in a matter of seconds. It is always digital. Color and design, as mentioned already, vary. What is on the screen does not change through. Simply press the button when near others, and the device will identify their exact Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure. This means that it will actually identify the numeric value that you and everyone else assigned when making your stats. This is useful because it means no more guesstimating for the characters. Now you can just find out a direct amount, and you don't have to sense at it anymore. 1000 Ryo.

Item Name: Propulsion Boots
Item Type: Locomotion Item/Weapon
Item Description: These boots were modeled after the gloves Jin once had during the time when C-weapons were around. The boots, however, are much more upgraded and cooler looking than the gloves were. Overall, they look like light armor for his feet. They're black and shiny all over and tall, reaching just below the knee. They're made of some kind of light metal that avoids overheating. There are straps at the top in the front and back to lock the leg in once it's in there snugly. At the sole, there are vents built into five separate locations. There are vents in the front ball of the boot, on both sides, in the back of the heel, and in the center of the foot. Gatz designed the boots in a way so that it absorbs heat from Hitze or the surroundings and uses that to power itself, which prevents any type of reliance on electrical battery power.
The cool thing about the boots is that with a tap of his foot in a certain spot, Jin can release the heat building up in the boots from one of the five vents as bursts of flames which are backed up by his reiatsu strength. The concentrated bursts of flames that the boot releases propels him at twice his speed as a result of concentration and force. When he's using the flames for attack rather than propulsion, the flames shoot out of all five vents to form a burst of flames the size of a large Cero! Normally when moving around, the flames only shoot out of the middle vent, which is largest, while the vents on the four sides only allow for change in direction.
"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
Cut to a young man with a strange smile, perched atop the railing of a 40th-floor balcony amidst the urban jungle of Singapore. His oversize white robe snapped in the wind, high collar framing a face contorted by cruel mischief. His smile almost seemed to reach his closed eyes, wrinkled with perpetual amusement. Many died wondering about that squint, never realizing that Gin Ichimaru, rogue captain of Seireitei's Squad Three and assassin for Sosuke Aizen, didn't need those eyes of his to begin with.
Gin licked a finger, snickering as he held it to the air. "So he is here..." Even amidst the dense spiritual seething of Singapore's crime world, Jin Yamada's riotous, passionate soul stood out, ambition radiating warmly off of him like... heat, fittingly enough. Gin's smile expanded at the wordplay. The Bount's reputation preceded him. Ichimaru wanted a good fight. Most of the captains wouldn't provide him with even an afternoon's worth of entertainment, and he might move on to the strong few eventually, but Yamada was something special.
"Ain't missin' such an exquisite opportunity..." The rogue captain lunged from the balcony, plummeting through the winds down to the intersection below. He cartwheeled through the air as he fell, bringing his right heel down in a comically absurd drop kick that threw up an inky cloud of asphalt dust, shards of broken pavement flying from the explosion. Before the passersby could scream or traffic could even finish collapsing into a terrified, crunching halt, a shadow zipped from the epicenter, trailing black dust as it raced onto the sidewalk.
Gin's victim looked to be about fifteen, give or take a bit of puberty. The murderous captain gripped the boy by the head, thin fingers curling around the teen's dandruff-stricken mop as Gin raised him several feet off the ground. Showing no signs of effort, the Captain stepped down from the sidewalk, pacing through the street to casually hop upon the roof of an SUV that had crashed in the chaos of his landing. "Now then, could a Mr. Jin Yamada please step forward? I'm bored, and while red's a nice color, I don't like dying my clothes m'self..." Gin tightened the pressure on the child's head. If he was right, which he always was, Jin was just down the block in an alley dealing with some nobody. The Bount leader would need to step forward soon before Gin added yet another soul to the ranks of his Shinigami nemeses...

That was the voice of the one known as Jin Yamada, echoing from the darkness of the alleyway facing that now leveled street. His voice trailed through the darkness, echoing outwards until his words touched upon the rogue Shinigami's ears. His voice had been heard, yet Yamada was nowhere to be seen for the moment. Footsteps could be heard approaching from within the darkness of the alleyway. Click clack. Click clack. The sharp tap of the black dress boots he wore announced his presence to the man there and preceded his grand entrance.
"If you wanted a meeting with me that badly, you should have just scheduled with my secretary. I'm sure she could have penciled you in somewhere." Still, the self-proclaimed Bount Leader had yet to make his appearance. His voice continued echoing, resounding all around as if he was using some sort of device to make his own voice bounce around. With each clack of his dress boots, his voice grew closer and closer to the Shinigami. With each step, his presence grew stronger. His reiatsu could be felt, building up to a point as he made it further out of that alleyway, which seemed infinitely long.
Finally, the Bount Leader made his exit from the darkness of the alleyway to face the Shinigami before him. A calm, mocking smile was plastered on his face, as if this was all a joke. He lifted a gloved hand to the tophat covering his head and pulled it further down, so that more of his face was shrouded in the shadows of the hat and his smile widened. His perfectly white teeth beamed in the light of the moon overhead. "But you know, since my last meeting ended so abruptly..." his gaze flicked towards the streets and the destruction around him. "I bargain I can slip you in right now. You're quite the cheeky fellow, but I'm sure you must realize that I'm a busy man. So, this will have to be quick..." he said, slipping his other hand, the left one from the pockets of the black trenchcoat he was wearing. From it, he pulled out a blue object. To most, it was a simple household toy. However, the blue yoyo Yamada had retrieved from his pocket was more than some common child's plaything. The glossed metal of the small object gleamed in the light from the streetlamps still standing.
"You might want to let go of the hostage first..."
With that, he was off. No other words of warning. Just like that, the True Bount took off. Just like that, he was moving towards his prey. His body disappeared in a blur of blackness and he was nowhere to be seen. For a moment, to those that had survived the initial destruction and had remained, Yamada appeared to have disappeared into thin air completely. Poof. Then suddenly, he appeared floating in the air above the rogue Shinigami. In his right hand was the blue yoyo, beaming in the light of the moon, which was now at his back. His body contorting into a twisting motion, he was in mid-flip, twisting in the air to get over Gin on the man's left side. That was when he launched his attack.
With a smooth flick of his wrist, he launched the small toy-like object towards the former Captain. The blue toy glided through the air, silenty whirring as it moved towards its destination. While careening towards the former Captain of Squad 3, blades suddenly popped out of the spinning toy. The deadly toy-like weapon curved it's way towards the man, appearing as if it was on its way to carve out a new home in the man's back. Instead, Gin would find the weapon spiraling around his back and attacking his right arm, the same arm whose hand gripped the young boy's head so tightly. If he had attacked anywhere else, Gin would try and use the young boy as a shield. Yamada couldn't have that. No, not at all.
By attacking that arm, Gin would be forced to drop the boy or flee. If he chose to hold onto the boy and flee, Jin had something up his sleeves in the case that it came down to such an outcome. Reiatsu was already moving down the thin steel wire from which the toy-like weapon had unwound from. The wire itself too posed a threat. Gin wouldn't notice it unless he looked at the right angle, and with Jin's back to the moonlight, Gin would find it quite difficult to discern the wire's movement with no light to help him. If he tried moving backwards to escape, he'd find himself getting tangled up in the thin wire and leaving himself open for the deadly toy to slice open his chest.
"Don't worry if you smell ash in the air, good fellow. You'll soon be apart of it." the Bount Leader taunted.

"This will have to be quick..." A thrill coursed through Gin's body at Jin's words. Through his narrowed eyes, Gin saw the Bount draw a strange weapon, a child's blue yo-yo. Flicked projectile, explosive or gas container, harmonic illusion conductor, unorthodox close-range wire combat, all of these possibilities flickered through the Captain's mind. As Jin prepared for his high-speed movement, the traitorous Captain felt that exquisite Bount reiatsu flare up, permeating every strand of muscle and sinew in preparation for movement. Fast movement, too - even if Gin couldn't read the Reiatsu burst off of the Bount easy as neon, he could never have missed the implications of the weapon, the remark about the hostage. Jin was going to close in and attack the arm.
"You might want to let go of the hostage first..." During the few seconds while Jin spoke, Gin readied himself, left hand moving toward his Zanpakutou, left foot slightly rising to brace itself on air ground as the toes of the right began pressing into the roof of the car with that inhuman strength. Suddenly, the Bount vanished in a flicker of movement. As he disappeared, Gin reacted, leaning himself forward to a horizontal position as he clenched his right foot and kicked it up and back, ripping out a significant part of the car's chassis and swinging it in an arc that would cover his lower, mid, and upper back, even allowing him to swing it all the way over to the front if he desired. Gin simultaneously drew his Zanpakutou in a backward grip, pointing it diagonally backward and downward. He made for a strange figure, balanced on one crouched leg as he swung the better part of a car in a backward crescent, pointed his sword downward, and still held a child in his hand.
As Jin appeared in the air over Gin, the Bount launched his yo-yo in a convoluted arc that would bewilder the instincts and senses. He made a serious mistake, though: Jin's Reiatsu sent flowing through the wire tipped Gin off as to the angles he intended. Feeling the fluctuations of Reiatsu was the hyperanalytical killer's sensory forte. Gin released his foot's grip on the chassis as he continued folding himself forward into an almost perfectly halfway contortion. The wire had swirled around precisely the place that his body had been... meaning it left him an easy escape path.
"Shoot to kill, Shinso."
A white arc of reiatsu would shoot from where the blade had been, moving at 700 speed and strength to push against the ground, cutting into it as it forced Gin into the air with the recoil before retracting. The burst of shimmering, pale reiatsu, whatever it was, would send Gin high into the air and out of the Bount's yo-yo encirclement at a speed likely too high for Jin to react to. As Gin was launched away, a flick of his wrist sent the child hostage flying into the path of the discarded chassis. This part needed no explanation; unless Jin thought of something clever, he would need to choose between protecting himself from this strange, lightning-fast Reiatsu spear weapon (for that was the name, God Spear) and saving the child's life. As Gin soared past tens of stories into the maze of skyscrapers above, with the searing white light of Shinso almost leaving an afterimage on the Bount's retina, the Shinigami snickered at his Bount opponent, realigning the blade of Shinso toward the Bount. He hoped this would be an interesting fight...
Remaining Reiatsu: 1350 (-150 for Shikai)
Shikai posts: 1/10
Shinso: Extends and retracts the blade with physical attributes equivalent to Gin's reiatsu strength, extending up to 100 sword-lengths (about 100 yards). This costs no reiatsu, as it is Shinso's only Shikai technique.

At first, there was shock on the Bount Leader's face. There was shock when he saw the brilliant flash of white light which the former Captain had so cleverly used to escape. There was shock not because his prey had escaped but because of the manner in which he had done so. The yoyo wrapped around the air where the mischievous shinigami had once stood, and Jin pulled back. With a single twitch of his ring finger, the blue toy-like weapon came rushing back. The former Captain didn't know it yet, but he had impressed the True Bount. This was shown by the small smirk which replaced the shock on Jin's face. It didn't matter that his prey had escaped. All that mattered was that he was facing someone strong. This made him truly happy.
As he fell towards the ground, his gaze moved towards Gin's newest position. Energy sensory, despite how much his own paled in comparison to that of the rogue's would still do him some good here. He was able to pick up on the man's reiatsu now that he was released just as easily as a dog could pick up on a scent. His eyes, though slow in following the trail of white light, eventually found the man floating high in the sky, amongst the large skyscrapers looming in the night sky behind him. His smirk turned into a frown as he noticed the child being thrown back down towards him. "You must not have read the protocol on how to treat humans in this world..." Jin called out as he stepped off to catch the falling child.
Creating a rail of reiatsu beneath his feet, the Bount rode it towards the young child, catching him in mid-air just as the flying chassis was about to reach him. From there, he continued on the rail of reiatsu, eventually creating a diverging path off of the main one, one that would take him towards the ground and far enough from where he had been before. I don't know what that flash of light was, but it seems powerful and fast enough to propel him several feet into the air. I don't plan on letting you hit me with something like that, mate. The Bount ended his rail of reiatsu as he neared the ground, stopping in midair very suddenly and once again becoming visible to the rogue Shinigami Captain. His body fell downwards and then landed on the now destroyed street. Upon landing, he immediately placed the young boy down and leapt upwards, not intending to stay in one spot too long. "Get out of here!" the Bount Leader commanded the child as he moved into the air towards his opponent.
As his leap took him into the air, gold reiatsu took shape over his form, surrounding him completely. The reiatsu glowed around him, giving him some sort of majestic appearance. So, it's that time again, huh? The voice that echoed within his mind was as clear as day when it spoke. Yeah, it's that time. The Bount Leader responded with a smile. He landed on air ground between two large buildings and stood, facing his prey. He pocketed the blue yoyo he had held before and replaced it with a golden one which he now held in his right hand. As he faced his prey with that yoyo in hand, he could only smile at the joy he would feel in battling such a powerful opponent.
"Let's go. Ziege dich, Hitze." With a smooth flick of his wrist, the golden yoyo was sent flying downwards through the air. This time, instead of going very far, the small toy-like weapon seemingly stopped at the Bount Leader's feet, spinning there and glowing as if awaiting further commands from the man. After a few seconds, the yoyo burst into a blinding yellow reiatsu, which immediately dispersed itself into the air around Jin and then disappeared just as suddenly as it had appeared. With the disappearance of the reiatsu, the temperature of the surroundings around them seemed to increase. From the cool 60 degrees Fahrenheit they were once experiencing high up amongst those tall skyscrapers, the temperature skyrocketed to reach above 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Surely, Gin would feel this sudden and slightly unbearable increase in the temperature for a quarter of a mile around them.
Whenever you're ready, Master.
Jin's smile grew wider as he faced down his opponent. In that moment, there was a tension in the air as Jin awaited his opponent's move. Instead, Gin only stood, aiming his small zanpakutou in the Bount Leader's direction. Without a word, and not wanting to sit and wait any longer, Jin made the first move. He kicked off of the air ground he stood on and moved himself higher into the air before disappearing completely. Gin might expect an attack to come from behind, but Jin wasn't going to try something like that a second time. Instead, he appeared about two meters before the man, flicking out his right hand. From it, he released a red yoyo, similar in size to the ones he had been using before. He twitched one of his fingers, which allowed the yoyo's string to detach from the hook it was connected to on his armbrace. This time, Jin wouldn't be sticking around to see whether or not the yoyo would hit its target. Instead, he disappeared once more.
He had only been there for less than a second, enough time for him to drop off his package and disappear once again on the same rail. Being able to stop and continue in such a manner gave an advantage to the Bount step technique which other races didn't have with theirs. So, while continuing on the same rail, he moved once again, this time higher above Gin but farther off to Gin's sword arm side, making it harder for him to easily adjust and redirect his aim. From there, he would make his true attack while Gin was focused on the yoyo flying towards him. How would Gin know it wasn't still being controlled by Jin? The weapon was too exotic for him to even know all that it could do after only facing off against it once. Jin would use the exoticness of that weapon and the size of his next attack to catch the man offguard. Hitzewelle. Suddenly, and without warning, there was a swirl of orange energy that appeared before him. Then, that swirl burst forth towards Gin, heading towards the man as a huge tidal wave of what looked like orange mist. The superconcentrated field of heat moved quickly, at a stat speed of 400 and was incredibly hot. From where he stood, Gin would feel the intense heat that radiated off of the large wave of impending doom. If he found himself unable to get out of the way, well let's just say he would end up as less than ash.
Jin's Remaining Reiatsu: 2600/3400 (-300 for 2x Schiene, -50 for 2x Branch rail, -400 for Doll Release)
Hitze's Remaining Reiatsu: 3200/3400 (-200 for Hitzewelle)
{Wüsten-Abfluss Effects} Starting next turn, for every post Gin is within the heat field, he loses 5% of his physical and sensory stats, not including energy sensory.
