In the darkness, all kind of monsters lurk. In the darkness, all kinds of evil men lurk. All who wish to remain unseen take to the darkness. It is a fact. Unchangeable fact in this world. And in the darkness of deepest corners of Menos Forest, there was one cave. Hidden, concealed perfectly by both nature and craft. That was a special cave. Enormous. After a short tunnel, it turned into a massive hall, for which nobody could say for how long it stretched. But it was not dark. Crystals that were parts of it's floor, and walls, and ceilings were giving off light. Why nobody knew. Nobody cared. For only a handful of high ranked Exequias officers knew about this cave. This was a training compound for top members of Exequias. It was not even disclosed to Espada. Now, it was occupied. Exequias second, Raar Hum Raar'h was there. He was there to do a job. He had a few things in mind that he wanted to do here. He was there to train.
Raar started with pushups. He wanted to see if he could somehow increase his stamina. One, two, three.... Raar just kept them going. But it was not just doing pushups. While doing pushups, Raar was thinking. How do I increase my my battle efficiency? Should I do it by developing sword style? Or should I improve my unarmed forms? No, that's useless for now. I will complete Perisai Diri either way... Now I need to make something better, something more efficient. But what? Raar was still doing pushups, thus far, he was at 50. It was not entirely easy to think while doing pushups with Raar's strength and stamina. Regardless, he was still doing them.
Then he got his great idea. Why wouldn't he get himself a new stly with sword? He was already good as it is with sword, and it was enough to grant him the title of Master. But what was his mastery when it would be compared with somebody who was on incredible level. Everything he knew indicated that Kuroi Naito had styles far superior to what Raar could do. While he couldn't be sure, since he never fought him, nor has he ever saw any of his styles, rumors indicated that there was no living swordsman superior to him. Raar knew that if even a fraction of what he has heard was correct, his sword capabilities were far below that. He was falling behind. Reports he gotten in this short time that he was back indicated that he has seriously fallen behind during last five years he was on a mission. So he needed to catch up.
Finishing pushups, after doing 200, Raar sat down to think. What could he do? What to base his style off of? His kin was shini from sweat, since he was only wearing his white baggy pants tucked into his white boots. He even tied his Hair on his bacj. That was leaving his face revealed. He did not worry though. Nobody knew about this place save for a few people, and they were not going to interrupt him in any way, since they all used this place for solo training, and thus respected when others used it. Do not disturb other people's privacy and you get to keep yours was kind of rule regarding this place. So, Raar was sitting on a rock, thinking. What could he do? How to forge a mighty sword style to rival this generation of Espada? What could Raar do?
He reached for the pile of his stuff this was just right next to the rock. it was composed out of his upper part of outfit, and knives belt and his Zanpakuto on top. He grabbed Zanpakuo handle, but he didn't unsheathed his Zanpakuto. Rather, he pulled out wakizashi. It was hidden in the hilt of Zanpakuto, and was technically part of it. A little something that Raar tended to use. Now Raar held it in his hand. How did people produce special styles? Raar figured it might have something with channeling Reiatsu. He channeled Reiatsu into wakizashi, but with no effect. He then started both channeling and circulating it. Nothing still happened. Then Raar slashed the air with wakizashi and something happened. A spark of white. What was that? Why that happened? And how?
Raar slashed the air again, this time stronger. He got a stronger, bigger spark. He tried again, even harder, and he got even more sparks. He scratched his forehead. Well, that is interesting... but what is that? And how can i use it? Should I turn it into something? I should try with a big one. Yes, I definitively should try with a big one... Saying that, Raar jumped down from the rock and unsheathed his Zanpakuto, previously returning wakizashi into it's slot inside the hilt. Then, he did Raiatsu thing again. He channeled it, and then started circulating it. And then he slashed it. His eyes widened. For a mere instant, the blade was engulfed in white flames. That was what he needed! But how to prolong time? What is the point in all of this anyway.
So Raar sat down once again and got to thinking. He was actually trying to get to figure out what was producing the effect. He discarded mere Reiatsu, it was simply channeled and forced to circulate inside of the sword, but it was not expended. What was happening? Raar started listing through factors, discarding them one by one. Force of swing had nothing to do with this, nor did angle. Had this something to do with surroundings. But there was nothing special here. There was just air... That is when Raar just figured it out. So it must have something to do with air, but what? Raar tryed to figure out why was this happening because of air. That was not an easy process. After several hours of thinking hard, he discarded everything and was left with only one answer. Friction. Somehow, Reiatsu being channeled and circulated inside the blade was increasing friction so high that it was literally setting the air on fire!
Then Raar sett off to get some better results. He was slashing at various angles, with various amounts of force. He got nothing more than previously. One handed grip was giving him only a mere instant of fire. So Raar decided to try something that he did not use often. Two handed grip. And it gave him desired results. For a whole downwards slash, air around the blade was lit on fire. Fire was white, which meant it was pretty hot. It actually reminded Raar of his Ressureccion, and white flames of it. But he figured it was not just that. Could something more created with similar methods? Raar was positive that i could. But for now, he needed to perfect this ability.
So he got to heavy work. Slashing at various angles was performed, and Raar found out that he did not get anything more than instant of flame unless it was a downwards slash. He started to get creative. Throwing his whole body into slashes, he actually got the effect he wanted. More momentum was essentially what he needed. With enough momentum he could do Basically anything with it. As he was doing it more and more, it took him less effort to get the flames burning. That is also when Raar noticed that flames were not only engulfing the blade, but they were leaving six inches of trail behind. But that trail lasted for like a second. Still. It was there. Raar was satisfied with that.
Finally, he sheathed his Zanpakuto again, tired. He was going for hours and hours and hours. He made great progress. He made first steps towards forging entirely new sword style. It was great thing already, and Raar was determined to perfect it. While he sat down under that rock, eating a bit of bread and cheese and bacon that he had with himself, and drinking some water afterwards, he was thinking. How could he call his new style. Even as he laid down into a sleeping bag he took with himself, Raar was considering how to call that style. What he created today were just roots. A roots of a single form. But Raar would perfect it into a great, powerful form, and create other forms as well. As he was slowly falling asleep, he figured how to call it. "Viento Ardiente: Primera Forma."
End of day one.
