(OOC: Fun fact, this is my 88th post as Cierro. FIESTA!!!!)
Cierro was utterly confused at the events that had transpired in the last few moments and decided to slip the relic into his cloak for safekeeping. He’d successfully infiltrated the bount’s temple only to be rewarded with orders from Lucifer himself. In addition to the orders, Cierro also felt a new sort of power coursing through his soul. Had the relic somehow done something to him without him realizing it? Cierro made a fist and clenched it in front of him. Just what was this artifact that he was recovering for Sonken Kouhai? Cierro hardly had time to think over his situation though as the Zoushuwwai appeared in front of the espada in a blinding burst of speed. In an instant the demonic figure lunged its hand out at the speedy espada. Cierro took this opportunity to avoid being caught by using a quick Sonido to propel himself across the room near the exit.
It was apparent that Cierro was taking no chances with tangling with the demonic monster. However, it was at this moment that Cierro sensed a familiar reiatsu. From Kuroi’s memories, the espada identified Jin’s reiatsu, but more specifically the bount’s doll release. Cierro smirked as this development hit him, “Jin Yamada, huh? I can use him...” Before the Zoushuwwai, Cierro transformed his appearance to look as Cierro had seen the bount before. Everything down to his wardrobe was copied on the espada’s body. Not only did Cierro now look like Jin, but he smelled like him, sounded like him, and his reiatsu even possessed an identical feel to it. The Zoushuwwai would have no way of knowing whether this new guise was his true form or not.
As if on queue a wall behind Cierro caved in and revealed Jin and his troupe who were blowing through the temple by knocking down all the walls in their way. Needless to say, Jin would likely be surprised to see himself standing in the room squaring off with the Zoushuwwai. The espada turned with a devilish smirk. He wanted them dead. He didn’t even know why he wanted them dead, but he did, and he would get his way right now. Cierro’s eerie smile was plastered across Jin’s face as he turned to face the newcomers. The espada spat on the ground before opening his mouth to mutter something. “Infiltrado Mode...” said the espada under his breath in Jin’s voice. In an instant, the espada made a beeline for the thick, purple gas and quickly dove in, holding his breath as he disappeared from the Zoushuwwai’s vision. When the gas dissipated the espada was gone. Not a trace of him remained, and the Zoushuwwai would notice that the only one left that looked like the person that stole the relic was none other than Jin Yamada. Where had Cierro gone? What had he done?
Simply put, Cierro had dove into the ground after he was out of the demon’s vision. His Infiltrado Mode allowed him to pass through solid objects and people like a phantom, and he used this to avoid the gas by going where it couldn’t reach him. Suppressing his reiatsu was also essential in making his disappearance complete. Cierro had determined that there was no way to escape the Zoushuwwai. You couldn’t run from it, and hiding from it was incredibly difficult. No, such straightforward methods weren’t enough to deal with such a ferocious creature. The only way to avoid being killed by it was to offer up someone else for it to kill instead. That was the only way to deal with such monsters, and Cierro had just given Jin Yamada to the Zoushuwwai.
Cierro made a beeline underground to the outside of the temple, remaining in Infiltrado Mode the whole way. Eventually the espada emerged from the ground outside the temple raised his hand into the air, leaving Infiltrado Mode. Just in case they tried to follow him, Cierro turned back into Jessica Zimmerman so he would go unnoticed by the Zoushuwwai, Jin, Heydrich, and everyone else that had been a witness to his presence. “Let’s see what you’re capable of... Rue...” thought the espada as he shot a bala straight up into the air, signaling Rue to begin his portion of the operation, “Chaos...” Cierro touched his hand to where he was keeping the relic. “Sonken Kouhai... Or Gujin...” he thought, “No... I shouldn’t consider those my only options... There is also the option to keep it for myself.”
