"Leader...?" Heydrich murmured. "There is no need for apology. I am not the leader of the Bount race. How can such a scattered, unorganized race such as ours, living harsh nomadic life, possibly have a leader to which all answer? No, I am merely head of this Bount City. I merely perform executive decisions voted upon by the good people that have organized into this immortal civilization." He was saying, more or less, that the Bount were nomads. Since they were scattered, there could be no leader! It was quite possible. While Jin had recruited many, it did stand to reason that many had never met him, and many would oppose and refuse to obey him. While many would join his cause, many others also would not. Their species had too individualistic of a mindset at the time.
"However, I did not visit you merely for greetings, apologies, and pleasantries." Heydrich said to Jin. He took Jin by the shoulder, leading him quickly out of the room. In an instant, they disappeared. They were gone from place suddenly. Jin would find something new and odd to this. He was...in the air! No, not the air. The shadows. Heydrich had pulled Jin into the darkness itself! Everything around appeared black and white, as if they were in a shadow world. Perhaps they were. Regardless, Jin would soon find himself high in the sky, emerging from the cast shadow of a cloud on another cloud. He and Heydrich emerged from the top of this cloud onto the air ground, looking over the entirety of the city. There, Jin would get a chance to gaze over the city. And see everything.
"There is much that you do not yet know!" Heydrich informed Jin. "About our Bount race, that is. About the powers which you could possess by staying here. And about the enemies whom we must survive against and one day destroy if our race is to continue." Suddenly, Heydrich had icy cold fingers on Jin's throat. It wasn't a threatening maneuver. It was some sort of...technique? Jin would find himself suddenly encased in a coffin made of reiatsu! But, it was not a bad thing. The coffin, white in color, was refueling him. He was gaining back his power and stamina. Any exhaustion and weariness he'd had before disappeared. And with it, emotions changed. Doubt, sadness, pain. Everything he'd felt in negativity was to be replaced by confidence.
As the coffin shattered, Heydrich began to explain more to Jin. "The Quincy that you met earlier are not our only source of grief. Though strong, they are far weaker than the exterminators who hunt our kind now! Stronger than any Shinigami, or any average Quincy, it seems that we have been made target to a new batch of killers, who have identified themselves as the Stern Ritter. They are members of that group of Quincy you encountered earlier, the Vandenreich. This Quincy Empire is incredibly powerful. Their power exceeds even the Soul Society's. Their leaders, the Stern Ritter, have two purposes. To destroy the Gotei Captains. And to destroy us as well. And this is where the problem arises. For they truly can destroy us all."
