Plotline: [This is it. The first battle of the war. And it's in Karakura Town. The forces coincidentally all appeared here to intercept one another from reaching other locations. All of the factions have arrived. And now there is no room for negotiation. Only for battle, and for war.

War on a scale like this has never before happened. One thousand Gillian tower as a gigantic army in Karakura Town for Las Noches. Shiroi Hokai of Exequias, Cain the Decima Espada, and Grimoire Acero the Primera Envainar are all present for Las Noches too. Soul Society has sent Griswald P. Lorilad, Squad 4's Captain, as an emergency medic. Six thousand Shinigami, mostly nonseats, are in fact present as an army here. The Ogatago have sent two thousand White Guardians, plus the two Ogatago Shiga Urago and Erakos Sono Kanadzuchi as representatives in this fight. Nilus Hemfada is also somewhere in the distance.

Xcution has brought in two Seven Guns assassins, along with Satsujun himself and all of the Vizards. Plus, nine hundred Fullbringers are also present. Redemption has sent in Shauna Melody, Lord Callus, and even two hundred of each of their races present in that organization, except Rogues, of which only nine or ten are present. Even Death-Sama is present. PHOENIX has sent in ten thousand armed and armored soldiers, while the Escudo have sent no one to this fight, and don't seem to be participating. The goal here is simple.

All sides wish to wipe out the enemy forces to the best of their ability. The thread ends when at least two major players in the game (this is allowed to include RPCs, not just NPCs, so be careful!) have been killed.] - Explain the plot of your adventure.

War. War had changed. It had become a machine that never before had been seen by the spiritual world. The sky was turned gray by the smoke and black by the ashes. There was no sun. All was blotted out. No reiatsu could be sensed from any specific individual. Flames and embers wafted through the air, and the sick scent of corpses and death and burning and utter destruction and Armageddon could all be taken in through the nose. Nothing could smell worse. The absolute gathering of so many individuals, especially of so many strong ones, prevented anyone from sensing reiatsu of any kind.

And that was simply the scent. The view and sounds were far worse. First, it was deafening. Shrieking sounds and explosions ripped through the air regularly at intervals of half a second. Hollows roared and Shinigami cried out. Huge red filled the world as Cero after Cero slammed down on the ground, aimed at taking out as many enemies as possible. The Gillian were all roaring and marching, simply firing Cero indiscriminately. The ground was being reduced to barren and blackened wasteland within mere seconds by the sheer impact of spiritual power that was being blasted around. All life was being extinguished within that area. Soon nothing would remain, it seemed.

Homes were on fire all around, and death and pain and screams filled everything. Deafening, horrifying, destructive. That was this scene of war and of the end of the world itself. Huge blasts of reiatsu in the forms of Cero or Kido flew everywhere. Ogatago clashed swords with Xcution members. Grimoire, Cain, and Shiroi were all in combat with Shinigami. Redemption Members had to deal with Vizards. This entire war had gotten far out of hand. It had spiraled out of control into absolute and total oblivion. There was nothing which could be said for this war other than that it was the worst thing in spiritual history.

Soon, however, something else was becoming clear. It was horrifying. The blasts and the destructive raining down from everywhere was resulting in something new. For once, simple defensive Kido were not enough. Or Hierro or anything. Attacks of varying levels and of all sizes and strengths were flying every which way, and one risked not just being hit by attacks from enemies, but by allies. Everywhere was surrounded by a blitz of attacks. No one was safe. It had become a no man's land unlike any other. It had become the death of the world. It had become nothing but Armageddon and pain. In this final hour, this war, this battle, was beyond anything imaginable.

Many Shinigami begun diving behind buildings and ceasing fire to avoid attacks. Many started performing more skirmish tactics, realizing that this place was becoming Hellish. It had become nearly impossible to stay on open ground without being completely annihilated! And all of a sudden, blasts of vicious reiatsu began impacting Shinigami. Nilus the sniper had joined the fight. The Shinigami were all being picked off slowly, one by one, until they began realizing how to defend themselves. Those that could began blasting holes in the ground and hiding there. Soon, all fighting became more isolated, more around the corner.

The battle had taken the turn in which it was so destructive and everyone wished merely to hide. Kido flew out of these holes, and houses and buildings that had been taken over by other forces shot out retaliation forces. The Gillian never once had to rest or duck down into holes. They were tall enough that they could simply fire their Cero down onto the battlefield as a constant, and never once let up in their barrage or assault of the place. Nothing was going to save anyone that was present from this terrifying war. Nothing at all.

[Sozen Kuchiki]

[Rave Haretsu]

Rave Haretsu, the newly appointed captain of Squad 8, stepped out of the Senkaimon along with the captain of Squad 4. Soul Society had sent over six thousand shinigami to come confront the armies of both Las Noches and and the humans. The battlefield was in absolute chaos by the time Rave arrived. Shinigami were being slaughtered left and right. Gillian were falling like flies. Fullbringers were being killed all around. Rave looked over this slaughter with a relatively collected and calm demeanor. Was he unfazed by the violence? Did he not care that Soul Society had come to war? Rave calmly unsheathed his zanpakutou from its home on his back. “Well ain’t this a party?” he said with a smirk as he pushed his visor up with his middle finger. Rave Haretsu scanned the battlefield, looking for someone noticeably strong on the opposing side. He possessed no ability to sense reiatsu, so he needed to rely on his eyes to locate a suitable opponent for him.

“What’s the plan, Doc?” said the captain as he stepped forwards, cracking his neck. Rave wasn’t addicted to fighting like Okusa, but he didn’t fear it either. The 8th squad captain approached fighting as a means to an end. It was something that had to be done to get what one desired, and what Rave desired was wealth. There was no promise of fortune and glory if Soul Society came out losing this three-way war. Rave would only benefit if Seireitei emerged victorious. Rave would not be the only captain there. Sozen Kuchiki had come to aid Soul Society as well. With three captains at their level present, Soul Society wasn’t looking too shabby. If only the Zero Division got off their fat butts and helped, this war would be long over by now. Rave sighed and scratched his head. He looked a bit confused about how this whole “war” thing worked. He honestly wasn’t too clear on the reason they were fighting. All he really needed to know was that everyone here that wasn’t a shinigami was his enemy.

Aside from the huge amount of Gillian overrunning Karakura Town, Las Noches had brought an Akki, the Exequias Leader, and the Decima Espada. Some of the Ogatago were also there. Needless to say, Las Noches was totally stacked. It seemed to Rave that this battle may be a lost cause, but he wasn’t about to lose hope. He trusted Dr. Griswald’s healing abilities and knew that if he needed it, the Squad 4 captain would help him. There was also Sozen. Rave hadn’t seen him fight, but he was a captain and also the head of the Kuchiki family, so he had to have at least some skill, right? “Well... Might as well find someone strong on our enemy’s side and bop their brains out, right?” said the captain in a light-hearted, relaxed manner. That was Rave’s plan and he was gonna stick with it.

[Schultz Silverhult]

“Such beautiful destruction… the darker definition of mankind’s truth laid bare for the world to see.”

Schultz sat atop a large building that was still intact, his Reiatsu masked and his grimoire unopened as he watched the chaos unfold beneath him. Bloody crimson eyes stared into the destruction and death that was a new constant in Karakura Town, and his face twisted with a sadistic glee. It was odd for the scholar to enjoy death as much as he did, considering that it was difficult to get information out of a dead man’s brain, but at the same time the bloodlust that existed from the darker half of his personality reveled in the maddening war that was occurring below. It was all he could to do keep himself from jumping in and causing his own brand of chaos on the battlefield, but it wasn’t his place to get involved in such an enormous battle. Schultz was a thinker, not a fighter.

And as he observed, he did indeed think. The Espada considered every aspect of the battle below, weighing the different sides of the battle. His eyes didn’t miss anything as he tried to identify the various officers present on the battlefield, particularly from the Shinigami and the Fullbringers. Death-sama was present again, which made Schultz’s throat constrict in fear briefly; he had seen to an extent just what power the man had. With him representing the human party, they would be a threat. Of course, the Shinigami had a few captains coming in as well, particularly the leader of Squad 4. Schultz had little data on the man, but he knew that Squad 4 was a medical squad, meaning that this was their chief surgeon. That created a potential weak point if he was taken out, but the Septima first wanted to measure the man’s combative abilities before he decided on an actual confrontation.

Schultz adjusted his glasses as he looked upon the chaos, considering his line of attack. Naturally taking out the lower ranked grunts would simplify the battle a bit; all of those Shinigami were just ripe for the picking from the scholar’s perspective. Several had hid behind buildings, blind to the Espada who had hidden himself and his presence, and open for a simple Cero to rain from above and annihilate them. Of course, he wasn’t planning on revealing himself just yet; Schultz had every intention of first scoping out the battle and waiting for a moment in which his presence would become useful. If he leapt in without thinking, Hueco Mundo would lose one of its strategists who could turn the battle around at the proper time.

“Tsk. Waiting is so boring though.”

Understanding was there; Schultz knew his responsibilities and his role in the battle, but at the same time the bloodlust pounded in his head. All Hollows, whether they had become Arrancar or not, possessed that same maddening bloodlust to consume. Many of the Arrancar could suppress it, but Schultz had enough bouncing around inside his skull to focus on every little detail. Naturally he enjoyed battle, the spray of an enemy’s blood into the air and the sounds of their dying screams like a soothing melody to his soul. He’d get his chance soon enough to reveal himself, and when he did, the Septima planned to cause slaughter just like any of the other combatants.

He couldn’t wait to begin the true chaos.

[Sozen Kuchiki]

"Those two." Sozen said. He was standing next to Rave. Sozen, the Noble Head of the Esteemed Kuchiki Household, was also the Squad 6 Captain. Among other things, he was also the most handsome man in the Soul Society. And he was pointing at the two Ogatago that were present on the battlefield. The first one was Shiga of the Ogatago, and who had formerly been a Shinigami. He was the weakest, Ogatago #5. Sozen knew that. The other was Arrancar, Erakos Sono Kanadzuchi. Sozen did not know this information. He knew about Shiga, though. The Kuchiki family kept detailed records of history in Soul Society.

"Those two will do nicely." His eyes were set on these targets because they were powerful enemies who only recently had declared war on Soul Society. They were supposed to be the "next big threat." That was going to be a lie soon. Sozen was just going to end the threat before it even arose. They looked like strong enemies, but he hadn't heard that they were anything extraordinary either. There were other adversaries too, but it was those two that Sozen thought they should focus on. They might as well just kill two Ogatago and be done with that battle. How could Las Noches and the Ogatago not retreat if that happened?

Sozen started rushing towards the two Ogatago. He wanted to get to them as fast as he could. His sword was out of its sheathe, and he was going to try to slash them. He got to Shiga first, because #5 was going to be his first victim. Killing the weakest was on Sozen's mind, and doing it quickly. That way he wouldn't have to deal with a stronger one in later time. "Raze, Akai Birido." His sword blade began to turn red as his sheathe also turned red, and he drew it into his left hand. Sozen was stabbing towards Shiga when he released. His eyes were focused intently on the Ogatago, and locked with his.

"Good evening, Ogatago." Sozen said. "Today is the last day of your life." It was a dramatic introduction and catch phrase by Sozen, as expected of the Noble Head of the Esteemed Kuchiki Family. Sozen Kuchiki was a master. His first stab towards Shiga was by surprise. He was interrupting whatever other fight Shiga was already in, and just butting in and stealing the fight. He whirled around after that and he started slashing. He just needed to see what Shiga could do physically and with his powers too. Gillian above were charging their Cero. From his normal vision to his peripherals, he could see at least twenty.

That was bad. If Cero were approaching, Sozen had to move. He moved out of Shiga's reaction range, and disappeared to dodge the swarm of Cero. When the coast was clear, Sozen jumped back into the fray and started slashing at and attacking Shiga again. He had to attack. He had to keep Shiga defensive. He was in high hopes that Rave would soon arrive to back him up. Sozen was actually screwed if Rave didn't back him up, because two Ogatago were there. It wouldn't be long before Erakos started attacking him too. He had to get help fast, or finish off Shiga fast.

"YOOOO!!!!!" Shiga roared with glee as his sword rose up to meet the challenge, smashing against Sozen's to knock it out of the way. That was the first attack parried. His grin was huge. His physical strength was enormous. Just from the first clash, Sozen's following attacks would be interrupted as he was blown backwards by the sheer power behind Shiga's massive sword attack. He'd drawn his Zanpakuto in an instant to fight back. He was a battle lover, of course. And he was fast too! His speed was unbelievable, and it was undeniably far higher than Sozen's was. He also jumped away, just as Sozen did, as soon as those Cero all impacted the ground. Shiga stared upwards in annoyance. "HEY, YOU FUCKERS. STOP FIRING DOWN AT ME."

He turned back just as Sozen arrived again to continue attacking. Shiga continued to grin, slashing against Sozen's blade back and forth with him. Every single blow would strain and tug and damage Sozen's arms. Every single strike would blast him backwards with each and every exchange. Shiga was even toying around a bit. In actuality, physical combat was far beyond Sozen's ability to compete in against Shiga. In an instant, he suddenly blurred his movements to move at his top speed and strength. Blasts of wind followed him around with his slashes as he burst out into slashes across Sozen's body. It was fast. Very ridiculously fast. Very ridiculously strong. Sozen would be cleaved in half by any of the strikes that landed if he did nothing about them.

Meanwhile, there were other things happening across the battlefield too. Shiroi Hokai had in fact just managed to end up involved in battle with Shauna Melody. They were jumping around, moving from place to place. Nine thin streams of pink reiatsu were flowing around Shauna's body, never touching her. From out of them, small arrows emerged at first, dozens at a time, shooting out at incredible speed. They were faster even than any average Captain. They could probably blow someone apart in an instant. Regardless, this wasn't their most impressive trait. As soon as they left the sashes, they increased in size, becoming larger than up to six or more Cero put together. The arrows were huge and powerful, no question about it. Shauna was going fall power.

Shiroi, as a matter of fact, had to dodge them. There were many, however, landing on the field everywhere. There was no room to run if one took into account the Kido blasts flying everywhere, and the Cero too. Luckily, some of Shauna's arrows, which looked rather explosive, were taken out prematurely by loose Cero or Kido or other powerful spell type attacks. Regardless, a single side step brought Shiroi to Shauna's left after a few minutes of simple dodging, and he aimed his left palm at her. A white Cero quickly charged, and then fired off. It was huge. An enormous, all-consuming white beam was flying at her. "This is probably the end for Redemption, Shauna Melody." Shiroi Hokai noted to her, almost apologetically.

And similarly, Aijou was locked in a battle with Death-Sama. Her eyes were fiery, her Zanpakuto was continuously slashing at him. While Death-Sama held a scythe in his grasp, and was passively guarding against Aijou's attacks, he was hardly fighting back. The intense stare in Aijou's eyes was accusing, and she did not blink. She remained focused on Death-Sama. Her eyes were filled with hate and with rage, and if he'd killed someone important to her. Well, put simply, it was more like he had failed to save someone that was important to her, and she could no longer forgive him. That was something going on with those two at that very moment. It was nothing that one would worry about until far later.

And, even as that happened, Satsujun and Lord Callus were in stand-off, having yet begun a battle. "A former Captain Commander and a man who refused the position." Satsujun said. He flicked his right hand, and white wisps of energy, light, and smoke all came together to form some sort of hilt in his right hand. From out of that, a blade of burning fire erupted into existence. The heat was unimaginable. Even hundreds of meters away, the heat could actually be felt. Only Satsujun was immune to it. "You have my respect." Satsujun said. Lord Callus cocked his head to one side. "You have my pity." he responded. "You would never have been disgraced in history as you were if you had not been such a coward."

And, while that was going on, other attacks were flying all about. Near Rave and Schultz, who definitely had to take cover, indiscriminate Cero and Kido and other attacks were flying everywhere. At least 1/4 of what passed them ran the risk of actually hitting them and severely damaging their bodies with the impact. They could not allow that to happen of course, though this was definitely a No Man's Land if one stopped and thought about exactly what was going on for them at that very moment. This was a war unlike any other, certainly. Nothing would ever be the same once this battle ended.

Shiroi's Remaining Reiatsu: 15200/16000 Reiatsu

[Rave Haretsu]

“Those two,” said Sozen, motioning to the two Ogatago that had made their appearance nearby, “Those two will do nicely. Rave looked where Sozen was pointing and he saw it clear as day. The two monsters stuck out like a sore thumb. They were slaughtering everything in their wake and shrugging off attacks like nothing. Surely they were captain class if not better. “Yeah, sounds like a plan, bro...” replied the captain as he leaned back, allowing a cero to whizz by his face. Rave quickly had to adjust his head to the side as a bala flew by from another direction. The battlefield was essentially a clusterfuck of projectiles at this point. Stuff was flying everywhere, and Rave took note of this fact. He could definitely use such attacks later if he was ever pushed to use bankai. “Raze, Akai Birido,” muttered the other captain as he released his shikai and made a charge directly at Shiga. Rave had never witnessed the captain’s abilities before, but he took note of the beautiful red color that his blade turned into and decided to follow suit.

“Show me what you can do, Oomizugoki!” said the soul reaper as his zanpakutou transformed into a long blade with a throttle near its hilt. This would be the first time that Rave had used his shikai since he became a captain, and it was refreshing in a way. He hadn’t needed to use Oomizugoki’s powers when fighting against Zieg much to the zanpakutou spirit’s dismay. Oomizugoki was perhaps the cockiest zanpakutou in all of Soul Society. The sword spirit always looked for an opportunity to show off how powerful his techniques make him, and during Rave’s fight for captaincy he was denied that privilege. Instead charging straight at opponent, Rave left it up to Sozen to take care of the straightforward portion of the attack. Instead, the captain of squad 8 determined that he would assist the Kuchiki from his current position.

While minding any attacks heading in his direction, a long, thin, white laser shot out of the captain’s shikai. It acted in much the same way a laser pointer did and would be invisible to both Sozen and Shiga. Only those with average energy sensory or those touching his zanpakutou’s hilt would be able to see any of the techniques that Rave’s bankai granted him. He was a nightmare for someone like Shiga to fight because of this. As quick as lightning, Rave slashed his sword upwards, making the laser fly out directly in front of Shiga, through his legs behind him, then up his body before shooting off endlessly into the clouds. Needless to say, the Ogatago would not be harmed, or even bothered by this seemingly pointless action. The true purpose of it would be revealed to those with at least 50 in energy sensory and to Rave.

Directly in front of Shiga and directly behind him, where the laser had touched, two purple runes formed on the ground. This all took place before Sozen had reached the Ogatago. Unfortunately for the captain, the runes would be just as invisible to him as the laser was. However, this meant that Shiga couldn’t see them either. Either way, Sozen’s attack would be executed without a problem. He would stab forwards at Shiga, shooting his arm directly over the rune that Rave had placed in front of the Ogatago. “Good evening, Ogatago,” said Sozen, “Today is the last day of your life.” Rave smirked as Sozen began to unleash a barrage of strikes. Shiga would be caught off guard by the two runes both in front and behind him. The special runes that Rave placed allowed him to have complete control over the direction of any movement that took place above them. He chose to allow Sozen free reign over his own movement, so the captain of Squad 6 would be able to ignore the rune’s effect.

However, Shiga would not be so lucky. If he took a step back in hopes of putting some distance in between them, his momentum would instantly be halted and he’d be shoved forwards into Sozen’s blade. If he tried to counter and stab forwards at Sozen, then his attack would be completely turned around and repelled in the opposite direction. Shiga was stuck between a rock and a hard place. As soon as Shiga attempted to smack Sozen’s sword away, his sword just so happened to come over the rune and his momentum was brought to a halt and then reversed so that his arm went in the completely opposite direction. There would be no defense to help Shiga from Sozen’s first strike, so unless the Ogatago could do something, Sozen’s blade would cut him. As Shiga tried to jump away, he leapt back into the other rune. His momentum was immediately reversed and he was flung forwards at Sozen as the cero came raining down. These cero passed over the other rune causing them to change direction in mid-air and come straight at Shiga. The poor Ogatago would have no idea what was going on as his retreat failed and the attacks he’d meant to dodge redirected themselves to fly straight at him.

It was at this point that Sozen unleashed a barrage of slashes that would find themselves uninterrupted by Rave’s shikai abilities. Shiga would not be so lucky however. Whenever he brought his sword forward to defend himself it was repelled back immediately. The rune and everything moving above it was completely subject to Rave’s control. Needless to say Shiga would not be emerging unscathed from such a vicious attack. If he found some way to avoid Sozen’s strikes then there was still the issue of the cero that had been redirected directly in front of him.

While all of this was happening, some the attacks that were flying everywhere just so happened to pass over the two runes. The influence of Rave’s momentum control extended infinitely into the air, so even ceros that flew high up and away from anyone would come flying where Rave desired them if they so happened to pass over the glyphs he created. This was the advantage that Rave’s Meiunmaru gave him. Needless to say, the attacks that entered into the soul reaper’s area of influence were instantly aimed in the Ogatago's direction. So not only was he being attacked by Sozen; cero and bala would also be raining down on him from above. He’d be screwed if he tried stepping forwards or backwards since his momentum would then be controlled completely by the captain of Squad 8.

[Schultz Silverhult]

Schultz’s eyes continued to scan the battlefield below, but he was ever-aware of the attacks exploding around him. Flames and smoke made him into little more than a silhouette, but even so his ability to accurately sense Reiatsu allowed him to make miniscule movements along the rooftops in order to avoid being struck by both Cero and Kido as well as a variety of other strikes from the Fullbringers. Motions were precise and discreet, Schultz keeping himself out of harm’s way while continuing to keep himself concealed as well as possible. Shadows were his allies, and the explosions rocking the area concealed any sounds of movement he might have made. There was no point in revealing himself before a key tactical strike, after all.

That didn’t stop the bloodlust, sadly, and Schultz found himself getting a bit impatient and slightly stir-crazy. It was so hard to remain still and out of the way when there was carnage everywhere. The scholar kept watching the battlefield, however, waiting for an excuse to make himself known in some way. An important ally to protect or an enemy left open for a surprise strike would be a perfect opportunity, but neither option was presenting itself just yet, which was frustrating in its own way. What was worse, Schultz couldn’t even fire a few Cero into the crowd without risking his vantage point, at least not until he was given a proper excuse. Once he was introduced into the battle, though, he practically vowed to release Hell upon them all.

Fortunately, a reason came soon enough. Two Shinigami, both Captains judging by their strength, went after Shiga Urago of the Ogatago. The man was an ally of sorts to Las Noches, so Schultz figured it would be a good idea to step in for the moment. “Reveal your knowledge, Chimamire no Shinjutsu!”

The Septima Espada stabbed his blade into the lock of his grimoire, and a rush of Reiatsu filled the air. It was hard to pinpoint as the field settled over a diameter of approximately a mile, but thinly spread out so as to create a presence rather than a crushing force. Schultz’s own Reiatsu, but not that released from the grimoire, was still masked, further increasing his stealth within the field. Everyone within the range of the scholar’s Reiatsu would feel it, like creeping eyes watching them from all sides, and a sort of tingle to the skin that was hard to describe. Even those without any ability to sense energy would feel the weight settle on them delicately, with hardly enough force to merit concern.

Of course, that was until the visions started.

Hell itself arose from the ground, flames suddenly licking up from cracks between the broken streets and screams breaking out in the air everywhere. Everyone within the field would feel the heat, though it had no actual adverse effect on their bodies aside from the belief that they were hot enough to induce sweating. The very air itself seemed to turn red with a mist of blood that settled over the battlefield, further adding to the grim scene below. But the horror didn’t end there; following the visible illusions and the illusion of perceived heat was the part that would bring allies and enemies to their knees if they didn’t have the mental fortitude to handle it. Despair, hatred, sorrow, and an urge for destruction, both self-induced and toward others, filled every mind that didn’t have the ability to fight it off. Those who were stronger in Reiatsu Strength would be less affected by Hell, and those who had actually perceived the real thing probably would shrug it off. But everyone else was subjected to the Hell that Schultz had seen in Kurosaki’s mind not too long ago.

Schultz himself had changed, his skin a bright red from his face to his neck and torso while long chains burst free of his back, each following a long, thin blade. His jacket had vanished, melding into his new physical form, revealing the Hollow hole in the middle of his chest. The hole was right over his lungs, revealing utter emptiness, symbolic of the condition that had ended his life. Bloody streaks poured from his eyes as the madness of his illusionary Hell threatened to overtake him, though only the hatred and urge for destruction directed his actions. But he was still in control, still sane; and with that in mind he was able to focus his next few illusions.

An illusionary Schultz would appear behind the two Shinigami without a sound, simply appearing. Using a second illusion, this time imposed upon himself, the scholar allowed himself to see through the illusion’s eyes as if he were there instead. This allowed him to focus a little better, as he had a clear view of his opponents now. One last illusion would seal the fate of both Shinigami, he decided, even as he let it settle over them. It wasn’t a visible illusion like the usual, at least not technically; instead, it was an illusion that changed their temporal perception, making them think attacks were coming more quickly or more slowly, in this case the latter. Shiga’s blade, while it would seem fast still, would actually be much faster. To the two Shinigami, Shiga’s sword would be a second or two behind the actual swing time, so that by the time his sword connected, they would see the weapon in mid-swing still.

Think fast, Shinigami… you have less time than you think.

Shiga found his sword based attack suddenly reflected away. His defenses had been fine, as he hadn't moved forward or back or anything similar for defending. All in all, guarding against Sozen had been fine. It had been attacking which got him into trouble. When he tried to hit back, his blade suddenly reflected away and back towards him. Shiga had control over his own attack, and physical strength, so of course he simple drove his elbow into his own chest, stopping his blade dead in its tracks. Still, it was a matter of difficulty which showed that he was indeed fighting more than one enemy at once. It was at that time that all of the Cero, having been dodged originally, were instead crashing down on Shiga because of whatever technique was incoming. But in that case, a grin formed on his face.

"None Must Live." Shiga declared boldly. In an instant, green reiatsu exploded all around. Instantaneously, a black katana emerged into existence in his left hand. He held a Zanpakuto in his right, and a black sword in his left. He'd in fact activated his stage 2 fullbring early on, to use its properties. Instantly, all twenty Cero flew into his blade, being eaten up by it. In fact, even the runes below Shiga suddenly tore from the ground, and were sucked into his sword. That was a total of 2100 reiatsu he absorbed into that blade, if one counted it numerically like that. In that case, the runes were no longer there to mess with Shiga. It had more than likely been his expectation that whatever technique was working against him would fail once Fullbring came into play.

With two blades in his grasp, Shiga continued attacking. His blades shoved forwards, slashing with continued, incredible speed at Sozen, who was the enemy right in front. But meanwhile, Rave would find something horrible was coming at him simultaneous to Shiga striking out at Sozen. Of course, the speed, in addition to Schultz's messing, would be very difficult to combat. Furthermore, blocking would damage Sozen's arms, and blast him away with sheer force. It was far too powerful, physically. He'd have to be careful. On Rave's side, as mentioned, there was some impressive danger. He was being struck at by someone else while he was messing with Shiga, who was engaged against Sozen. On Rave's side, arrows flew at him.

He was five full miles away, by matter of fact. And his second bow was out. It was a level 3 bow, and his Quincy Cross was active too. He had his scope trailed directly at Rave at the time. It was a dead lock-on from five miles away. There was no wind at all. He had his crosshairs directly over Rave's head. It was a .50 caliber rifle. It was indeed powerful. It had a bullet which would blow Rave apart if it hit. It had a bullet that moved at Mach 9 speed. How would he know it was even coming? From five miles away, how could one anticipate? When Nilus pulled the trigger and fired on Rave, would he even have the speed to dodge, even with Shunpo? It would be perhaps a second and a half or two seconds at most before it reached him.

How could Rave do anything to guard? How could he save his own life? It was a mystery. Simultaneously, Schultz was in trouble just as well. He did not have to deal with any Ogatago, but this did not mean that there were no other enemies to deal with. Where he was, the real one, there was suddenly a new enemy. A Vizard had suddenly managed to get over to where Schultz was, because that Vizard had just been fighting someone else, and that confrontation had ended due to explosions separating the two adversaries. This Vizard was Sosboro Geita. His hollowfication was already in place, and he made it near Schultz, just in time to see the Espada. His Zanpakuto was out, and was released. It was a buster sword with only the edges of the blade, and no filling in between. Electricity coursed across it, black in color. He spotted Schultz, and charged without hesitation, slashing.

Meanwhile, Rave, regardless of what happened with that bullet, might notice yet another enemy nearby him. By unlucky coincidence, he'd ended up near Satsujun. The God of Murder was present. This was not going to be good for him. After guarding against that bullet, assuming that he could, surely Rave would wish to get away and find another position. Anyone could recognize the God of Murder, and also recognize that he was probably too strong to fight against. White wisps of light, energy, and smoke were creating a hilt in Satsujun's right hand, and a blade of fiery flames had erupted from it. It was a weapon with which he was facing Lord Callus, who stood across from him. They'd just had some kind of exchange, and Satsujun had skidded back.

Shiga blocked the first hit. That was enough. Shiga's Zanpakuto sword blade turned red. And then there was more to it than that. Sozen had a lot more to his strategy, and he smiled like a badass when Shiga blocked his attack and went "YOOOO!!!!" like some guy who just happened to love battle. Sozen was all about using that color, which was red, as Shiga was going to find out. Not only had his Zanpakuto's sword blade been turned red, but more was soon going to be turned red as well. He'd find that it was like an infection later. Nothing was beyond Sozen's realm of control once he began his attacking.

Even if Sozen perceived Shiga as just a little bit less fast, that didn't change that Shiga still radically outclassed him in speed. Actually, Sozen didn't think that it was a good idea to stay in that one place if Shiga was going to be so fast. Shiga had come unprepared, though. With just a Shunpo, Sozen dodged the attack and appeared a few yards back, out of physical range. On the way away, his sword dug into the ground, carving across it as Sozen moved away from Shiga with Shunpo. The fast Shunpo brought him away by a few yards, but a trail was left on the ground.

There was a trail of red, almost like blood. The individual parts of the road that Sozen had cut into had turned red. This meant that a thin trail of red, a single small line, was left in red on the ground. It was a strategic move in the strategic arsenal for Sozen to use here! This red which was left on the ground was of course part of Sozen's plan. A blade erupted out of the red, which had been left just beneath Shiga, more or less. It was out of that thin line of red on the ground that a blade shot out of, heading for Shiga's crotch area. If it impacted, that was neutering, and it would stab all the way up through to his heart.

From his Zanpakuto, several blades started shooting out. One blade was diagonal, stabbing downwards into the guard of the sword, to turn that red as well. And from the guard, another blade hit the hilt to turn that red too. Meanwhile, on other ends of the blade, blades were shooting out to hit Shiga's heart, other parts of his torso, and heading for his face too. Some of the blades hit each other on the way, turning them red. Therefore, from some of the blades heading for Shiga, even more blades started erupting out and towards his face and chest, all branching off and originating from his own blade. But he wouldn't be able to get rid of it.

To stop Shiga from getting rid of his blade, blades started erupting out of his guard towards his arm, and out of his hilt to stab his hand. He shouldn't be able to get rid of it. It was too fast, and it was too close to his hand since he was directly holding it. There were probably ways that he could avoid the attack, though. There were a few holes which would let him get away from the attack, possibly even unharmed. But Sozen timed it. It started from the sword a split second after it started from the red on the ground. Shiga should be distracted. His sword was close to him. He shouldn't be able to know to let go on time or something like that.

This was only Sozen's first attack, too. Some of the blades had had to pierce or pass by Shiga's clothes. In the event that any of Shiga's clothes were hit on the way to stabbing him, the clothes would also turn red. This meant that Sozen would then be able to create blades from the clothing, if any of it was turned red, and use it to stab into Shiga's body. He was sure to give a promising challenge to Shiga with just this ability. He was counting on Rave to provide him with a support of some kind to ensure that his attack got a guaranteed hit against Shiga, or maybe a much better chance of a following attack against Shiga. Sozen was smiling all the while. As expected of the Noble Head of the Esteemed Kuchiki Family.

Sozen's Remaining Reiatsu: 2500/2300 Reiatsu

[Rave Haretsu]

Rave observed through his purple visor as Sozen’s blade clashed with Shiga’s. The captain had allowed Sozen’s momentum to remain unaffected while he kept Shiga from even moving his sword over the rune on the ground. Rave’s shikai provided excellent backup for a variety of different allies, but it was easily capable of wreaking havoc in the case that Rave was fighting by himself. The captain kicked back and watched as his fellow soul reaper dealt with the Ogatago. It seemed for the most part that Sozen had things under control, and as the captain leapt backwards, Shiga spoke three words which activated some type of release. It was at this point that Rave would notice that the Ogatago’s zanpakutou had turned red and that Sozen’s sword left a red path in the ground as he dragged his shikai through it. It seemed that anything Sozen’s zanpakutou touched turned red. Was there some method of attack that this indicated? Rave kept avoiding incoming projectiles as he stood and observed the Ogatago’s release.

It was at this moment that Rave noticed Shiga absorb not only the cero that were shot at him, but his Meiunmaru as well. This was bad. Rave had never encountered an enemy that could simply undo his shikai abilities. “Hey... HEY!!! MOTHERFUCKER!!! What kind of stunt are you tryin’ ta pull?! EH?!?!” yelled Oomizugoki, obviously pissed about his abilities being dealt with, with such ease. “Chill, Oomizugoki...” thought Rave, calming his zanpakutou spirit, “We’re just gonna have to think of a new way to go about this.” It was then that Sozen’s blades started popping up out of everything red near Shiga directly at him. Rave picked up on the captain’s techniques quickly. “Whoa... that’s pretty cool... Hey, his zanpakutou is pretty cool, isn’t it Oomizugoki?” thought Rave with a smirk. “Fuck you...” came the reply from the disgruntled sword spirit.

It was at this moment that the soul reaper noticed it. It was a bullet traveling at immense speeds directly at his location. Admittedly Rave wouldn’t have noticed it if not for the few cero it had blown through on its way over to him leaving a massive hole in each of them giving hint to the projectile’s path. Rave was barely left with enough time to lift his sword between him and the bullet. It was lucky that he’d been keeping an eye open for any projectiles that happened to stray his way, but this one didn’t seem to be a random attack. This one had been directed at him from afar. The bullet connected with the captain’s sword and halted immediately. All of the momentum it had held was immediately taken from it as it remained stationary in mid-air against his zanpakutou. It was unable to even acquire the necessary momentum to fall to the ground. Rave gazed off in the direction that the bullet had come from and took his sword off of the bullet, allowing it to drop to the ground and dissipate into reiatsu. There was undoubtedly a third enemy out there with them in his sights. While Schultz’s illusion would affect Rave’s perception of when the bullet arrived, it would not change the fact that the captain was able to block it. He moved his sword up with an entire second to spare believing he had two or three seconds before the attack hit. He was actually surprised by how fast the attack had covered the ground.

Rave decided that it would be best to keep his eye peeled for any more attacks from that direction, but also focus on the fight at hand. Hopefully someone closer to Nilus would deal with him. Rave watched as everything around Shiga was quickly overtaken with red blades emanating from the red that contact with Sozen’s shikai had created. Rave’s high reiatsu strength and the fact that Schultz would be preoccupied with other things allowed the shinigami to shatter the illusion without putting in much effort. It was during Sozen’s attack on Satsujun that had moved near him. Rave took note of the two powerful warriors engaging in combat and determined that the best course of action would be not to get involved at all. Lord Callus had already chosen to engage The God of Murder by himself, and if anyone could handle him, it was him. Rave turned back to the fight he’d already made himself a part of and took note of the opening that Sozen had provided him. While Shiga was worried about Sozen’s onslaught, Rave determined that now would be a good time to attack using physical means instead of using ranged attacks.

Rave closed the distance between him and Shiga, flying right by Sozen and his clusterfuck of red blades. As the captain ran by he held his blade out to the side in hopes of cutting Shiga open as he ran. However, he was not selling out on this attack. In fact, Rave’s eyes were peeled for some sort of attack from the Ogatago. The captain was actually counting on it. A shunpo could be preformed at any minute and the shinigami remained ready to react at any second. Shiga would now need to worry about not only his sword shooting blades out at him, but Rave on his left side, threatening to hit his torso with his zanpakutou. Sozen’s blade wasn’t the only one that came with annoying effects simply by touching someone. If anything touched Rave’s zanpakutou it, like the bullet, would be completely drained of all its momentum and brought to a complete standstill. It would be unable to move and would ignore even gravity in this state until Rave removed his zanpakutou or decided to slice right through whatever had been halted. In the case that a huge cloud of gas, or wave of reiatsu, that his sword wouldn’t work against was released, Rave intended to use a flash step instantly.
