Swish. Swish. Swish. That was the sound of the golden yoyo as it cut through the air multiple times. The yoyo, gleaming with light from the sun, was being looped around and fashioned into various forms by its wielder. The yoyo itself appeared to simply float in the air; the steel wires that connected it almost invisible. At times, it too caught rays from the sun and gleamed in the light. From one trick to the next, the yoyo was wielded skillfully and looped around, forming triangles and interconnecting loops and all that jazz. Finally, the steel wire connected to the yoyo was tugged and with a final loop, the yoyo returned to the wielder's gloved white hand.
The Bount Leader was sitting on the steps of a shack that appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. On the outskirts of Karakura Town was where it probably was. Jin Yamada had come here for an assignment given to him by Death-Sama. He was told that an Ogatago was lurking in the abandoned labyrinth underground. That worried Jin, because the Bount Citadel's entrance was down there. He made it his business to find out personally why an Ogatago was lurking down there. He couldn't let them find the last safe haven for Bount. It held too many secrets of the race, and Jin wasn't going to let those secrets be lost.
Flicking the yoyo in and out once more, Jin Yamada waited. When he told Death-Sama that he would take this mission, Death-Sama told him that he would be sending an Executive as back-up. Jin wondered who the Executive being sent would be. He had only met four out of the five other Executives, not including himself and Death-Sama. He knew Shauna, the Quincy Executive, since he and Zouma had gone to ask for her help dealing with the Shada Hollow. He knew Lord Callus, the Rogue Shinigami Excutive, by word-of-mouth and had only seen him for the first time about two weeks ago. He had met Hope, the Mod Soul Executive, some time back when he had first joined. Lastly, he had known Zouma, the former Vaizard Executive personally before his death. That still hit him pretty hard. The fifth Executive, the one for the Failure race, he didn't know. Hopefully sometime he would get to meet them. For this mission though, he didn't care too much about which Executive was backing him up. They were all strong enough that help from any of them would be beneficial.
Jin just sat there on those steps flicking his yoyo in and out and doing tricks while he waited for his backup. He would have gone on ahead, but he thought it better to wait. The thing was that Jin had been to this labyrinth before, long ago. He had actually added and improved some of the traps within it since the last time he had traversed it. He didn't want those who stumbled upon it to find the Bount Citadel, so he made sure they wouldn't be able to get to it. Since he knew where most of the traps were, he could guide his back-up. It would be easier and safer if they just went in together. There was a higher probability of them coming out in one piece this way. So, that was why Jin was sitting there waiting.
The way he was dressed in that moment made it seem like he was heading to a business meeting. Jin always typically dressed like this. He preferred to look suave and business-like. With his black dress pants, black vest with a nice looking white dress shirt underneath, and loosely tied tie, he was set for the day. Over his wavy black hair, instead of the normal black tophat he usually wore, the Bount Leader wore a blue fedora which was pushed low to hide most of his face. White gloves with blue crosses stitched into the back of both adorned his hands. As the cold wind of the afternoon blew across, he pulled the collars of his knee-length black jacket closer to his face. The Bount Leader just sat there like that on the steps of that shack while he waited. By the end of this, he would know exactly why an Ogatago was lurking around near the Bount Citadel. He would make them pay if they did anything to destroy it, and that was a promise.

Nycha was told by Death-sama to meet the Bount executive at the outskirts of Karakura town by a shack. The job was to find out what the Ogatago were doing in the labyrinth and return back with the information gathered. She dutifully took the job and headed out to meet the Executive, deciding that it would be quicker to jog there rather than walk. Her stamina from running all her unnatural life allowed her to be able to do this sort of thing without too much problem now or later. The other reason she decided to jog was to not be late, since the Bount Executive was not there when she met with Death-sama. She would hate to be late to an important assignment such as this one. As she ran, she put the headphone of her i-pod up to her ears and listened to some music with a good beat to it.
The sounds of the music filled her head and without thinking her speed increased to a full run, but not a sprint. Nycha's metallic skin shined like a star as the sun hit it. The fact that the only odd thing she was wearing was a belt with the i-pod on it, simply allowed her body to shine completely. This would almost blind anyone who would look towards her as she ran by. Since she wasn't wearing any clothes, everything on her body could be seen. This did indeed mean her feminine genitals, but she seemed to not care as she was comfortable being this way. Another good thing about not having clothing or items to carry, allowed her to not be slowed down by it. This allowed her full running speed to be constant and not fluctuate at all, making her a bit faster than others at that speed.
Nycha was excited at this point when she could see the outline of the shack. The image was slowly getting larger as she got closer, making her go into a full out sprint. She had never met any of the other Executives yet, so she was excited to see who was part of her group and who she would be personally be working with. The other thing she wondered was if the Bount was handsome, but she tried to shake that thought in knowing that it was bad to have feelings for co-workers. As she tried to rid the thought and continue listening to the music, she made it to the shack in a matter of minutes. The shack seemed to be in the middle of nowhere as she stopped running and looked around.
Nycha removed the headphones out of her ears and checked around the shack until she saw a guy sitting there. He was dressed in a business suit, something that she was okay with. On his head was a blue fedora, that also was covering part of his face which made it hard for her to tell if this was the person she was suppose to meet. "Are you the one I'm supposed to be meeting here?" she asked with a slight hesitation in her voice. She was curious to know if he was the Bount Executive and if he was, how he would be. She leaned over a bit and turned her head to the side to try to see his face. She also waited for a response to see if he was even awake.

Hope had herd things about this mission and was tired of being in the background. He didn't come around much because he was always afraid of getting bored. However he was bored of doing nothing so he obviously needed to tag along and entertain himself. He wasn't told the information about the mission but he had a trusty pair of goggles that allowed him to see reiatsu and follow reiatsu trails to track people. He used these goggles to follow Jin. He was far enough behind to not be noticed because he didn't need to physically track Jin.
Hope was on his hoverboard. It allowed him to move at extremely high speeds, easily and not exughst. He slowed as he got closer to the trail. When he felt he was flose enough he jumped off of it and pushed it into his lightweight bag which defied science and allowed him to store things in.
He put is hood up over his head and didn't bother to come the hair out of his eyes. He could see still but it hid his eyes beneth it. He was in his usual outfit The top of the serial numbers on his undershirt being slightly visable near his collar bone and sternum. He had his right hand up to his neck twirling a golden necklace that wrapped looseely around his neck twice. His eyes were hidden behind the goggles he wore. He was getting close to them because the path was ending. Hopefully everyone who was expected to be there was already there and they hadn't gone in yet. He didn't want to have to trudge into an unknown area without comrades being aware he was there.
Hope could see that we was close enough to remove the goggles. He lifted them onto the top of his head. His eyes were now visable. They were white because it has been a awfully long time since he absorbed reiatsu. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it then put the liighter back into one of his several pockets. He inhaled and lowered his had away from his face leaving the cig inbetween his lips, smoke escaped through a gap in his lips. He wondered what the reactions would be of whoever was selected to go on this mission. He saw two people, one was sitting and the other was.. female?! Hope's face scrunched. He hated women they were disgusting.
As he got closer he noticed that she was also almost naked. She had some kind of metalic pain over her skin that made her look robotic. Hope didn't know that this was actually her skin. He never met her before. This mad Hope even more disgusted. "There is such a thing as clothes you know." Hope recognized Jin by his outfit. He had met him a long time ago but Hope can remember a man in a suit. "Call me the mission crasher, I'm here to help!" He grinned toward Jin as he spoke, trying his hardest not to even glimpse the naked female.

The Bount Leader's head lifted to get a glimpse of the new figure that had suddenly arrived. His brown eyes gazed at her from beneath the shadows of his blue fedora. At her appearance, Jin's eyebrow quirked up. Why was this person naked and silver? Jin's eyes quickly scanned her body, noticing that the entirety of it was covered in that metallic silver color. Why is she naked? Though the Bount Leader was heterosexual, he didn't pay too much attention to the nude form of Nycha; only taking a quick glance at her body and returning his gaze to the ground in front of him. Jin was a Renaissance man and also a Catholic at heart. He was too much of a gentlemen to stare at her naked body, which is why after scanning her appearance, his gaze returned to the floor.
The Bount Leader quickly flicked his yoyo in and out as a smile came to his lips. The Bount Leader answered her question with a question of his own. "I suppose you're the Executive Death-sama sent? The Failure Executive right? He stopped flicking the yoyo in and out and immediately stood up before she could answer him. Removing his hat from his head, he took a slight bow. "I'm Jin Yamada. Executive for the Bount race. It's a pleasure to meet you." he said as he returned the fedora to his head, pushing it down once again so that it placed shadows over his eyes. The confident smile remained on his face and his eyes traveled up her body until his eyes met Nycha's own underneath the shadows of his hat.
Jin was interested in this Failure Executive. The only Failure he had met was Craten Jiko, but he wore clothing; so it struck him as a surprise that the Failure Executive chose to go without clothing. It was a little awkward for him being the gentleman he was, but nonetheless he would get through it. Just as he was waiting for her response, Jin was greeted by another Executive. Speak of the Devil! He had just been thinking about him. Jin remembered this one from their chance meeting long ago. Jin also remembered seeing Hope at the meeting with Death-Sama they had both attended when first joining Redemption. That was the last time he had seen him in awhile. Jin's gaze turned from Nycha to Hope, allowing him a chance to rest for a moment from trying so hard not to look at the rest of her body.
The Bount Leader smiled at the presence of the second Executive. Death-Sama never said he'd be sending two Executives as backup. Jin wasn't complaining though! The more the merrier! "Long time no see. I don't think I introduced myself the last time we met, but I'm Jin Yamada." Jin said, tipping his hat to Hope as a greeting. His gaze then turned back to Nycha and moved between the two of them. There wasn't alot of time for formalities. He needed to find out what an Ogatago was doing down in the labyrinth and if he could, prevent them from finding the Bount Citadel. He had no plans of telling the other two about the Bount Citadel, for it's location was a secret he would guard with his life. He also didn't feel like explaining to them about it. It would take too long. He would simply tell them a half-truth regarding his sudden hastiness in wanting to get to the mission at hand.
"We should probably head in soon...there are powerful things in this labyrinth the Ogatago could get their hands on if we don't hurry..." Jin said. He began flicking his yoyo in and out as he started speaking to the two Executives. He was going to explain things to them out here before they traversed in. It would be better that way. "Since I've been here before, I can guide us through most of the labyrinth....though there are parts of it I haven't traversed yet." Jin spoke in an ambiguous tone. "There are a lot of traps in this place, so we have to watch out." Jin said. The way he was speaking was almost as though he was hiding some facts from the two of them, which he actually was. It was their choice to confront him about it; that is if they could pick up on the ambiguity in his voice.
With that said, Jin turned and pocketed the golden yoyo he had been flicking in and out. "If you're able to, suppress your reiatsu as much as you can. The first trap activates when it senses foreign reiatsu..." By foreign, Jin meant reiatsu that didn't belong to Bount, though of course he wouldn't tell them this. He only knew about it because he was the one who had invented that certain trap. He had built that trap during the time he had hidden out within the labyrinth after stealing the Soul Cross from Soul Society. Without that, he wouldn't have known when those four shinigami and Kuroi had entered the labyrinth. He wouldn't have been able to activate the traps within the labyrinth to slow them down enough so that he could escape. So, if he told them that by foreign he meant non-Bount reiatsu, it would raise questions. Mainly as to why he knew so much about this labyrinth and the traps it contained. For now, he would try to tell them as little as he could to avoid having to mention the Bount Citadel.
The Bount Leader began walking up the steps of the old-looking shack the two had found him seated outside of. He turned to look at them one last time, flashing that familiar smile of his once again. "Well then, shall we?" he asked as he pushed open the door to the shack and stepped in. He turned his head from left to right, looking for the entrance to the labyrinth. He found it in the form of a large hole the size of two men in the middle of the floor. Jin took one last glance behind him to see whether Nycha and Hope had followed and then leaped inside. He had no reason to cloak his reiatsu since he was a Bount, but he hoped that the other two would do as he said. If things went well, he would see the two landing beside him within the Labyrinth.

Once everyone was inside, a nasty surprise awaited them. All of a sudden, instead of Jin's first trap, there was something new. Arrows flew at everyone and from all sides. They were steel tip arrows, and were not made of reiatsu. Not only was this the case, but they were clocking in very fast. There also looked like there was some sort of coating along them. They were glowing with green reiatsu. Someone had used a coating ring of some kind on them.
These arrows were heading for everyone, and looked like they desperately wanted to penetrate the bodies of everyone there. They were coming in with great speed. They were coming in with such a methodology that this was going to be a very short visit if there was no defense against the arrows. Who had put them there was going to be a mystery. What would happen was going to be a mystery.
It looked like since Jin had been here, someone new had also been here, and new traps had been set. If Kassen Oro had set those traps, then it meant that he had set others along his way to wherever he was going to as well. If he hadn't, then it meant that there were others in this labyrinth who posed danger, and were ultimately a great threat to the Redemption Executives that were here in this place. They all had different ways of defending against individual attacks, but could they all defend against this combination attack? Literally dozens and dozens of arrows blotted out light with the shadow of the mass, and all were coated.
So if it were that many arrows, and they were moving at great speed, and all of them had that extra coated penetration power, things did not look like they were off to a good start for any of the Executives. At the same time, some sort of loud roaring sound like a waterfall could be heard in the background. It was obviously loud from the source, but for now it was soft because it was far away. What was it, though?
Knowledge may be power, but sight is the origin of knowledge, and I see everything. I am omnipotent, and nothing happens in this world which can escape my gaze.

[smear:FF0000]"Hope Ichidou, Mod Soul Executive."[/smear:00FF00] Hope said to reinform Jin if he didn't entirely recall and to indirectly educate Nycha. He pulled from his all carry sack a convert-a-weapon. Hope listened to Jin, he could tell something was up from his behavior however Hope didn't know Jin well enough to call him out on his odd behavior so he ignored it and nodded his head. He held in his reaitsu so that raps would not be set off if he went through any detector when entering the shack. Hope slipped the goggles on the top of his head back over his eyes and watched as Jin headed into the shack. Hope followed him in and jumped down into the labyrinth. Because the arrows were covered in green reiatsu Hope could detect them from a far enough distance thanks to his goggles. "Watch out! There are arrows about come at us!" Hope said as a fair warning since he picked up on them early.
Hope's convert-a-weapon formed into an umbrella and he swooped it up over his head while he moved out of the way of the arrows. Since there was so many of them he was not able to evade them all that is why he used the convert-a-weapon to turn it into a battle umbrella. A spiked bladed weapon that could also be used as a shield. The arrows were indeed coated in reiatsu but even after smashing through steel they would not be able to penetrate effectively since Hope moved mostly out of the range with his warning.
The arrows that would hit Hope would only do 1/5 of the damage they would regularly do to someone and even after they traveled through the metal umbrella their strength would be weakened even more. Hope grinned as a couple made contact with him. Pain was his forte. Hope loved pain. 4/5's of the impact being absorbed. The couple arrows around him Hope collected gathering about 20 converting them into solid reaitsu that formed around him. Since the arrows were so tiny 3 of them equal 1 level 7 conversion. averaging 166 reiatsu floating around Hope. The arrows impacts not even worth registering. His high speed regeneration quickly healing the wounds. "You okay?" Hope said mainly to Jin. He didn't trust the female. He had build up resentment for their sex as it was.
The first thing was that he'd tried to make it too effortless. It was a much more elaborate trap than could be easily avoided. First of all, they came in from all sides. There was no way to get out of the way by moving. They came in from everywhere. Everyone was surrounded. There was no way to step aside to evade any part of the barrage, because it was equally swooping in from all sides of the barrage. In this case, it indicated that Hope was about to get a sufficiently nasty surprise when he found out that while he could avoid some of the arrows from some of the other sides, not to mention his comrades would help out with that, there was no way to avoid simply being surrounded by arrows just waiting for that impact with flesh.
That was when another thing would be made clear. The reiatsu coating added a huge amount of penetration power that had previously been underestimated. The arrows were moving in at a high speed, and that high speed and reiatsu coating, they were able to pierce the convert-a-weapon. That weapon wasn't meant to defend against reiatsu like that. Weapons such as Zanpakuto or techniques such as Kido were meant for such defenses. A random technological weapon like from Urahara's could not compare to an actual spiritual weapon from an actual spiritual race, rather than the umbrella. Penetrating the umbrella was all well and good, but there was more to it than that, once the arrows broke through and got into Hope's defenses.
They hit his body, slamming in with their deep steel. The reiatsu disappeared on contact with him, because of his ability. It wasn't that arrows were lying scattered around him and were unable to pierce him. There were a few that were lying around him, but he'd been hit by quite a high number of them. This essentially meant that his body was full of arrows. The thighs, the hips, parts of the chest and back and even close to the stomach. His shoulders, and even one of his feet was hit. At least a dozen arrows had lodged into his body, and in a multitude of places. This then presented another problem to Hope. What if he took them out of his body? He couldn't. He'd bleed to death. But further continuing would be impossible without removing those arrow shafts from his body.
Luckily for Hope, Jin did indeed possess a healing type technique for such situations as this at his disposal, but on the other hand, this would use up precious reiatsu. In this harsh environment, which seemed to have been made more hostile than before, that reiatsu might come in handy later. It was precious, it was finite. If Jin used it there, he would certainly have to deal with the consequences of needing it and not having it later. Regardless, it was his choice. No one even knew that he had the technique! Jin could go on as if he didn't have it, and leave Hope for dead, or he could heal him. This was one choice that he'd have to make, though it came after the choice presented to him and probably to Nycha too that they would have to guard against the arrows as well.
And indeed, it was true that Nycha had a power of healing too. However, this too costed reiatsu. She had the same exact choice as Jin. Was she going to abandon that precious reiatsu, which could well be necessary later? It was important to figure this out. It was also important to not make Hope's mistake, which had been to underestimate the trap. This maze was a whole other level from what it might have been in previous instances of being infiltrated by individuals like these Executives. (And the thread is also Extreme difficulty. The traps aren't so easy as to be effortless.) What remained certain was that however they next proceeded, they had to be more careful, and either decide to be trusting or untrusting of one another. All of them worked for Redemption, but did that mean that they were ready to commit to each other?

OOC: Sorry for not posting for so long. Things came up and I've been busy. Now for a post. My reply will include things that happened since my last post, so some of the stuff can be ignored.
IC: Nycha had heard someone approaching while she waited for the man who was sitting to answer. She noticed another man who had an odd look on his face walking up on them. Before she said hello, he said, "There is such a thing as clothes you know," and "Call me the mission crasher, I'm here to help!"Which immediately she responded with, "I can't wear clothing. It burns off, so back off. If you're here to help, don't act like a prick." Then the man sitting down spoke up asking if she was the Failure Executive and then introduced himself as Jin Yamada, the Bount Executive. Well at least she met the one she was meant to first and not this prick who just walked up. "I am Nycha Dartan. The Failure Executive. Pleased to meet you Jin Yamada," she said with a slight bow to him.
Jin then said hello and introduced himself to the other man who had walked up. The other man stating that he was Hope Ichidou, Mod Soul Executive. Interesting to have a Mod Soul with them for a mission like this. Then Jin said they should get going since there were things Ogatago could get and their goal was not to let them get it. He also said he had been in this labyrinth before and there were traps. Well if there was one person who could lead them, it had to be Jin. Though they just met, Nycha felt she could trust Jin. Not to mention the fact he was an Executive. Then Jin started to go into the shack and immediately said to suppress their reiatsu. This would be bad since Nycha's was constantly leaking out. She would try her best to suppress it, but who knows what would happen. Then Hope followed Jin and she followed Hope. She suppressed her reiatsu like Jin asked, hoping that it wouldn't trigger the trap.
She jumped down the hole and landed besides the two men. When suddenly Hope cried out that arrows were coming at them. Well there goes my attempt on suppressing my reiatsu, she thought not knowing this wasn't the trap Jin had spoken off. Hope seemed to activate a weapon of some sort and decided to move out of the way to block some incoming arrows. However since the arrows were coming from all directions, Hope went into some of them and seemed to have gotten impaled due to his slow movement afterwards. Then he asked if they were alright, but Nycha didn't have time to respond. Thinking quickly, she knew that arrows were always affected by wind. She knew a wind attack, but that wasn't a defensive power. However she could use it defensively. "Hado Number 58. Tenran," she called out as she aimed her palm at the ground. A large tornado rushed out and spread around her as she did so.
The tornado created fast moving wind which would be able to push the arrows off course and to the side. Since Jin was next to her, he too would be inside the center of the tornado. Then she called out, "Bakudo Number 73. Tozanshō." A large inverted pyramid formed around her and Jin, capable of protecting them both from the arrows if they were able to get through the tornado. If the arrows did get through the tornado, they would have less speed and thus less penetrating power to get through the pyramid. "You okay? We're going to need to help Hope after this is done," she said Jin while she waited for the results of her actions to take course.
Remaining Reiatsu: 2750 [-150 for Tozansho, -100 for Tenran]

Senses. This was one of the things that informed the Bount Leader of the incoming danger once he had stepped inside. With the senses he had on par with that of a wild animal's, Jin could hear the arrows as they launched off from whatever mechanism was used to launch them. Jin had heard these noises faintly in the echoing underground of this labyrinth. Hope's warning also helped him. Surprise and confusion were the first things he felt as those arrows closed in. His hand, which had been in his pocket, was already being pulled out with his yoyo clenched in it as the arrows were zooming towards him and his Executive comrades from all sides. The Bount Leader acted quickly, speaking those familiar words and flicking the yoyo forward as Nycha spoke beside him.
"Zeige Dich, Hitze." Jin called out, releasing his doll. The yoyo burst into golden reiatsu, which then proceeded to surround him and disperse around his body. After the golden reiatsu disappeared, an orange aura formed around his body. Nycha would also notice that the air around him grew really hot. Jin's mouth was going to open again to speak a technique name when suddenly, powerful winds began blowing around him. Jin looked to the side to see the wind coming from Nycha's outstretched palm. Jin thought that her attack resembled a Shinigami kido he had seen sometime ago, but he pushed this thought to the back of his mind. He saw the arrows being pushed away around him, and that helped to reduce the panic he felt in that moment. Not even the large inverted pyramid she summoned helped to reduce his worry either, despite the powerful reiatsu strength behind it preventing any arrows from being able to pierce it. Jin knew this because she was a Failure. He heard that all Failures possessed large amounts of reiatsu and incredible strength in their reiatsu.
Jin felt Hope's reiatsu decrease as the roaring winds and inverted pyramid formed around the two of them. Had Hope not been in range to be protected as well? Where did he go? Jin was worried and felt a little guilty because he hadn't been fast enough to do anything. He had been worried that any defense he came up with would have killed his comrades as well instead of protecting them. The only defensive technique he did have used up too much reiatsu and he knew that using it to protect all three of them would have used up even more reiatsu. He had been counting on one of the other Executives to protect the three of them, and he felt guilty for that. Now Hope was probably hurt because of his hesitance.
Jin looked behind to see where Hope had gone. To his horror, he saw his fellow Executive skewered by many arrows. The Bount Leader's eyes widened in that moment and panic struck him. He couldn't let one of the Executives on this mission die. Not only would it hurt the strength of Redemption, but it would also push him into further despair. He hadn't been there to help Zouma. He didn't want to let another Executive die, especially not since he was right there.
The Bount Leader just stared at Hope's skewered body for a few seconds, trying to figure out what had happened. He was unable to speak for a few seconds, but when he finally did he turned to Nycha. "That wasn't a trap I set up. I-I don't know what happened. I thought this place was too hidden to be found." Jin said. He then turned back towards Hope, staring at him from within the inverted pyramid. "The Ogatago must have set that up. If so, then this is bad. That means they've already gotten pretty far into this place." Jin added. "It would probably be good that we know some things about one another while we're down here. If I may ask..what can you do...? Besides use kidou?" Jin asked. Her ability to use kidou interested him. He was also planning on healing Hope, but while they were protected in this inverted prison, they would be safe from any backup attacks. The enemy might think Hope was dead since he was pierced by so many arrows, so he was safe from further attack. Nycha and Jin were the only open targets now with that reiatsu barrier surrounding them.

Hope groaned. There were around 24 arrows in him. They hadn't peirced any of his vital organs since their cutting effect was greatly reduced by Hope not only absorbing the reiatsu but 4/5's of their impact. Hope closed his eyes and slowly each arrow began to glow with green reaitsu. The same color reaitsu that was coating the arrow heads. This was the last type of reaitsu that Hope had absorbed. His eyes were the same color green as a matter of fact. Hope was converting them to reaitsu so he could manipulate their shape. With their arrow heads yanking them out would bore larger hole in him and cause him to bleed everywhere. Rather he elongated the arrows slightly by making the arrows long rods. They were still pressing into Hope so he did not bleed out.
Hope was a class 1 mod soul. He had highspeed regeneration. The arrow rods slowly shifted outwards as his wounds healed up. He looked like a human pin cushion that had just squeezed it's needles out. Holes not even there and the rods floating around him spun. Hope was breathing slightly heavy. This winded him a big from all the things he had just done. The arrows merged into a staff of reiatsu. Hope leaned on the staff holding it in his hands and looked to the others. He smiled at Jin. "Sorry I don't warm up fast. I need to slowly submerge my body into cold water I'm not the type to dive right in normally." Hope was fine but it would be in his best interest to not have to fight for a couple posts so he could conserve his energy. His body was skewered only moments ago afterall.
Hope was ready to continue walking onward when ever the other two were ready, he could walk fine now that his body was healed, and the support of the staff would help him also. But he was going to need to rely on the company of the other two for a little until he was back on his A game. He slipped up and now the other two were going to be brought down with him because of it. If he would have just stayed with the other two then this wouldn't have happened. Hope rolled his eyes at his own ignorance.

The reiatsu that had been on those arrows would actually have penetrated most defenses. Even reiatsu based defenses, or Hierro, or Kido or other Bakudo would have been pierced. That was what the reiatsu on the tips of the arrows had been for. However, Jin had been in luck in the ally that had shielded him, and Nycha was in luck through circumstances of birth and genetics. That incredible reiatsu strength was enough to guard against the arrows, no question about it. That was the power of most Failures. They had the power to destroy or block anything with their incredible reiatsu. Of course, this was also lucky. Had Nycha taken a direct hit from any of those arrows, the consequences would have been far more dire for her than for Hope or Jin, had they taken arrows.
Still, the very fact that this trap had been there was indication that the rest of the labyrinth posed further danger than they had even first imagined. Reiatsu could also be felt flaring all of a sudden from a certain direction in the maze. While to Hope and to Nycha the reiatsu would be from a random direction, Jin would recognize the direction from which it came. Kassen Oro, who was the known Ogatago in this maze, was heading for the Bount Citadel. At that point, it was uncertain why an Ogatago was actually headed for the Bount Citadel. And this was why everything had a certain mysterious, ominous atmosphere to it. What was it that would lead that man to the place that Jin and his kind called home, or at least ancestry?
It seemed that the choice remained with Nycha first, whether or not she would reveal her powers so soon. Furthermore, it then rested with Jin, who must decide whether or not to lead his two comrades to the Bount Citadel, where Kassen Oro was headed, or find a way to ditch them along the way and confront the Ogatago himself. Lastly, Hope had his own decision, that being whether or not to continue getting along with his comrades. There was clear animosity between Hope and Nycha, at the very least, since one was a woman and the other detested women. There was another thing happening within that labyrinth, they'd all soon find. The air was descending in temperature. The labyrinth was in fact getting colder. Slowly, and steadily, but it definitely was.

Jin had summoned his doll which Nycha had figured out based on him calling out the summoning phrase. Lucky for her, she didn't need a summoning phrase to use her actual powers and not ones that she used from her previous life. The air had gotten hot for the moment that the doll was released and then it went back to the coolness that the labyrinth held within it. Jin had also gained an orange aura, probably something his doll gave him upon being used. After both of their defenses, the arrows had been deflected off however it was still too late and Hope had been injured. Nycha could sense his energy decrease as Hope used his powers to heal himself. Well that would save her from using her powers early on, hopefully she wouldn't have to exhaust her powers too much. Then Jin said that the trap wasn't his and he thought the place was too hidden to be found.
"This...wasn't your trap. Then does this mean that Ogatago set it up with knowledge that we would be coming?" Nycha said as she removed the kido. Then Jin immediately responded to her and with more bad news. Then he asked what her powers were besides using kido. Well she could tell him everything which might be a good idea, however he would be needing to do the same if she was going to trust him. She gave a small sigh before looking at him and then at Hope. "My main ability is the ability of healing. I can heal wounds and even reiatsu. Healing is what I do and what I've always done. My secondary powers deal with Shinigami kido. I know a good few that are useful as well as Shunpo. The last piece of powers that I have deal with Hollow Cero and Bala. Just know I rarely use my hollow powers and my shinigami powers are my main unless healing is needed. Hope, I would have healed you, but you seem to be alright," she told them both. There it was, all out on the table. Now it was up to them to reveal their powers.
"So what about you Jin and you Hope. What can you both do?" she asked them. While waiting on their responses, Nycha looked toward one direction that she felt a large amount of Reiatsu come from. It was like a Failure's in amount and very strong indeed. After looking back at the two men, she wondered how they would fair against this opponent. It was obvious they would need teamwork, but so far it seemed that they lacked it. Nycha soon felt a chill rise through her body as the labyrinth got colder. The coolness that was once there only was getting colder. Was it that Ogatago's powers or just something set up in the labyrinth. She then said to herself, "Man is it getting cold in here or is it just me."

She can use both hollow and Shinigami powers along with her own? Just what...are these Failures? These were Jin's thoughts as Nycha explained her powers to him. His calm brown eyes stared into her own as she spoke, taking in every word that came out of her mouth. The Bount Leader's mind was thinking hard when she told him she could use both hollow and Shinigami powers. Didn't that technically make her a Vaizard then? She associated with the Failure race though, so then was she just confused? Jin wasn't going to judge and since he didn't know alot about Failures, he was just going to keep his mouth shut. He had only seen a handful of Failures, and they all had the same appearance as her, so he was going to roll with what she told him.
When she was done speaking, Nycha looked at him, expecting him to tell them about his powers. She looked at Hope right after. Jin was about to open his mouth to tell them about his own powers when Nycha suddenly commented about it being cold. What's she talking about? I'm not cold... The Bount Leader, being surrounded by his doll made of heat wouldn't feel the drop in temperature. He didn't notice that the temperature had been dropping while Nycha spoke until she said something about it. Was Hitze absorbing heat from the surroundings? No it couldn't be Hitze. Jin's doll served him completely and he hadn't given it such a command. It couldn't be Hitze, which meant it had to be something or someone else.
Jin had a solution to the problem though. If the cold was being caused by an actual person or trap though, then this wouldn't solve it completely. "Hitze, verbreiten." Jin spoke suddenly. Nycha would get a firsthand taste of Jin's abilities. Hopefully he wouldn't have to explain his powers much after this little demonstration, but he felt that an explanation was probably necessary. With the issued command, the aura that had surrounded Jin suddenly disappeared. His image was no longer wavering or shifting every which way. It just suddenly became...normal for lack of a better word. Then suddenly, the air around the three of them increased in temperature. It was close to 100 degrees now. This happened for a little more than a quarter of a mile radius around the three. This meant that if someone was decreasing the temperature with an ability and they were close, Hitze could sense them and alert Jin. The sudden cold that had come upon Nycha and Hope would disappear as soon as Jin uttered those two words. It would be a little hotter than it had been when they entered, but it was better than it being super cold. Right? Both of them would probably feel really weak soon (OOC: 1 post after your next reply since it's spread out way more) from the sudden increase in temperature, but Jin wasn't planning on keeping Hitze spread out for too long. It was until he was able to rule out his second cause for the cold.
Jin suddenly turned towards Hope and then returned his gaze to Nycha. He walked over to Hope as he began speaking. He was going to tell her about his powers as a Bount. "Whereas most Bount you might know have three dolls, I only have one. This is because I am a True Bount. My doll allows me to manipulate heat. I can increase the temperatures in an area if I so choose, as I did just now. I apologize if it's a little uncomfortable. That's the smallest area my doll could spread out and still be close enough to protect us." Jin spoke. By the time he was finished, he had reached Hope, who had been about five or six feet away. He grabbed Hope's right arm with his left and swung this over his shoulder. He then placed his left hand behind Hope's back, holding him up in this way.
"I also have several techniques I've developed to-" Jin began and then suddenly stopped. His eyes widened for a split second and returned to normal. He felt that powerful surge of reiatsu just then. He had stopped speaking because he knew the exact location of where the reiatsu was coming from. It was near the Bount Citadel. The Ogatago are trying to find it! I can't let them destroy it! Nycha and Hope would probably take his abrupt pause and sudden shock as fear or hesitation because of the strength of the reiatsu. That wasn't it at all. Jin hesitated because the reiatsu he felt was so close to the Bount race's safe haven. He had to protect it and keep it a secret at all costs. He knew just what to say to get his comrades on board. It would be a lie, but it was a good one. He wasn't just lying to be mischievous or start something so it was okay.
"The Ogatago are close to it." Jin said to both Nycha and Hope. "Death-Sama wanted us to protect it. He didn't say what exactly it was, but he said it was really important that we make sure the Ogatago don't get it. At least, that's what he told me..." Jin added. He knew he probably shouldn't have added in Death-Sama's name like that, but it was the only authority figure he could think of that would get them to work their hardest to help him. He would just explain to Death-Sama later why he lied if Nycha or Hope mentioned protecting something in their briefing. Hopefully all three of them would be there at the briefing after the mission so he could give Death-Sama some kind of sign to let him know he would explain it later. He would just tell him that it was something important to the Bount that no one could know about, even him. Death-Sama might understand. He seemed like an understanding man to Jin.
Jin couldn't tell anyone where the Bount Citadel was, not even Death-Sama. It was a secret that he as leader was to keep until his death. It was the last safe haven for Bount. It held too many secrets of the Bount race. Only the leader and those trusted Bount allies should know of its location, especially since it held information on how to become a True Bount- which there could only be one of at a time. Jin wasn't about to just give up information like that willingly, so he lied. He walked forward, bringing Hope with him as he walked. Hope was probably able to walk on his own, but with Jin aiding him he would be able to move faster. He wasn't going to wait around while the Ogatago destroyed the last place holding his race's secrets. "Let's go!" Jin called to Nycha. He knew of a shortcut they could take through the labyrinth, but he wasn't sure if it would still be active. If the Ogatago had been able to re-rig his first trap, then what else had they been able to re-rig. He didn't want to take that kind of chance and endanger his comrades again. Neither of them would trust him anymore. They would just take the long way for safe measure without using any step techniques. This place was too dangerous to move through so quickly.
