Plotline: [In that small town of Karakura, where spiritual happenings have since become the norm, something new has happened. In that town of Karakura, where hollow are most common, Squad 12 has noticed that hollow reiatsu is disappearing. At first, when the disappearances started four days ago, hollows were only disappearing in small amounts. Five here. Six there, and so on. The next day, the numbers increased, doubling and then tripling until hollows began disappearing by the masses.

Soul Society has been notified of the disturbance and sent out a small team of Shinigami to investigate. As it always happens, the reconnaissance team has yet to report back, and it's been two days since they were sent out! So, in order to find out what happened to their team, Soul Society has sent another small team of Shinigami to go investigate. Word was sent to those of Seated and Captain rankings to go investigate and report back. The mission: Find out what happened to the previous reconnaissance team and if possible, discover what has been causing the mass disappearance of hollow.

As for those in Karakura Town strong enough to sense reiatsu, the disturbance of the hollow population can also be sensed. Those strong enough have gone to investigate. Death-Sama has requested for a few members of Redemption to find out what is going on. They must meet up with Jin Yamada and aid him in gathering information.] - Explain the plot of your adventure.

Kubi arrived well beforehand, as per his custom. Kubi was the highest-ranking member of the shinigami sent to investigate, being the Vice Captain of Squad 2. Currently, Squad 2 was in shambles, the Captain failing to maintain control of her squad, the seated officers weak and lazy, and the unseated even more so. Kubi's face hardened as he thought of the sorry state of his division, his right hand clenching, throwing a miniaturized version of the Vice Captains badge on the back of his glove in relief.

Kubi swept his long, messy brown hair out of his dark eyes, piercing through the heavens. He sighed and squinted, then angrily scratched at the hell butterfly tattoo on his right cheek. This damn thing. I should have skipped this whole damn process.' He sighed. But of course he couldn't do that. His division was on thin ice already. He shook his head and started to survey the area, looking for any hidden traps, or enemies in wait.

Ten minutes pass, and Kubi was done. Using air-ground, he sat on the ground, propping himself up on one ragged elbow, the sleeves of the shikahusho cut. In fact, his entire outfit looked almost destroyed. His shikahusho, the long black over coat, was cut off at the waist and the sleeve, his Hakama cut off at the knees. He forgoed the normal sandals of the Shinigami, and instead wore custom shoes: leather support with rows of wood, separated by centimeter's, so as to provide comfort, stealth, and support. He slowly closed his eyes, his back straightening, his legs crossed in a lotus position. His breath was slow and deep, in a meditative state. Like so, he welcomed the dawn. Before long, he heard the Senkeimon open. He got up and brushed himself off, his hands them sinking deep into the pockets of his Hakama. His emotionless dark eyes watched the warping of the dimensions, waiting for whom would step out.

OOC: I'm the second Shinigami to finish an intro, thus Taka has to withdraw.

Kyomei was ready for a real mission to the Land of the Living. He'd been on a few solo jobs, fighting a few Arrancar and Hollow here and there, but nothing big like this. This disturbance that had possibly claimed the lives of a fair number of Shinigami was not something to shake a stick at. Something big and dangerous was taking down Shinigami in packs, and Kyomei wanted to lend his Kidou expertise for the good of the group. He had grown very strong, far beyond the power of a sixth seat, though Kyomei kept his seat in order to stay in the squad of his cousin Sozen to learn and grow until he was ready to take on the Captaincy of Squad 5. He was not ready yet, and so he waited in the lower ranks, gathering strength and knowledge. Soon it would be time, soon, but not yet. To go on a mission would further increase his teamwork skills, and possibly leadership skills too.

Coming out of the Senkaimon, Kyomei saw a very familiar face. A good friend of his, Kubi Tsuru, was also joining him on this investigation into the mass disappearance of Hollows. Normally, disappearing hollows wouldn't be a bad thing, but seeing as something that powerful could quickly turn against the Soul Society, and quite possibly had already compromised the safety of a band of Shinigami, few precautions were being taken. "Good morning to you, Kubi. You've probably scoped out the place, where do you think that we should begin? I've got your back, as always, and its nice to be working together for a change, instead of training against each other."

Cupid had never formally met Jin Yamada the Bount Executive. Then again Cupid hadn't met with a lot of the fellow Executivesc representing their respective race. Cupid wasn't quite as social as he should have been. Thing were going to change though. Death-sama said that there have been some strange things going on and he had sent Jin to go investigate and Cupid was to meet up with him. Cupid had his blue wings on his back. The wings were purely decoration and did not move. His pink hair was laying on his head neatly. Cupid took extra time to fix it. First impressions were everything after all and Cupid was not going to let the Bount Executive think Cupid was ratty and unkempt. He wore a pink and purple stripped shirt with matching pink dress pants. The pink was soft and not deep so it was easy on the eyes.

Cupid had noticed something funny was going on but didn't act on it until.he was given orders to because he didn't think anything too mischievous was going on. Maybe he was completely wrong. He was excited to meet another Executive so he wasn't going to turn this request down. Hope was the only one Cupid had known, other than Shauna and Cupid wasn't very familiar with her anyways. Cupid didn't know what the bount looked like but he was sure that where he was going it wasn't going to be crowded. "Jin Yamada? I'm Cupid Koikokoro, Second Quincy Executive. It's a pleasure to meet you." Cupid said as he approached the man in the area he was told to meet Jin. He held out his hand to shake Jins. Cupid's lovespell would not have any effect on him since they were of equal class but Jin may still be able to feel a unnatural fondness to Cupid. Nothing weird just an easiness to him. Cupid grinned like a shark.

When introductions were said and done, and the two Shinigami were ready to begin the mission, they would probably notice it. The eerie quiet of this town called Karakura. This place was abundant with spiritually active souls, and as a result of this, it constantly attracted creatures who fed on those souls. Usually, on any normal day, there was always one or two hollow roaring in the background. That was on a normal day. On this day however, there was not a roar that could be heard around. Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

All that was heard was the cold wind blowing across the skies where those two were. Just wind howling. It would be quite disturbing to the two Shinigami. A town that had been bustling with spiritual activity a few days ago was now as quiet as a mouse. As the reports had stated, hollow that had been roaming the town had just...disappeared. Now, it seemed with the disappearance of those hollow, everything had become eerily quiet. Just what was going on in the town?! And seemingly, as though in response to the question, a voice suddenly spoke out to the two Shinigami. The voice echoed as it spoke, as though coming from multiple directions around them. It was sniveling and cruel when it spoke.

”So you came? Good...now the show can begin...” With that, the voice gave off an eerie cackle and disappeared, melting into the howling winds once more.

Where Cupid was, in that small park within Karakura Town, he would find quite the surprise when he introduced himself to the man he thought was to be Jin Yamada. The man turned to face him and a smile formed on his face. It was a cocky smile, one that boasted complete confidence. ”A pleasure to meet you it is indeed, but I’m not Jin Yamada.” the man who Cupid greeted said. He chuckled a little as he said it. He wasn’t laughing at Cupid necessarily. His laugh was more in regards to the embarrassing nature of the situation.

The man, who had grayish colored hair, light brown eyes and tanned skin stopped laughing, as he had realized that he might have offended Cupid. He appeared fairly young, somewhere around his late twenties, and he was well muscled. The tight black shirt he wore under the unzipped black jacket gave indication of that. The gray cargo pants he wore on his legs were a little more loose and baggy though. He lifted his right hand, which was covered by a fingerless glove just like the left, to shake Cupid’s outstretched hand and introduced himself. ”Don’t worry, I’m no stranger. My name is Don, Jin’s right hand man.” Don’s smile remained as he gazed upon the man who called himself the Second Quincy Executive. ”I didn’t know they had two Quincy Executives now. It’s glad to have you aboard, Cupid.” Don said casually, trying to make conversation. As he spoke, he gave off an aura of confidence and charisma. His confident aura was so confident that there was no way Cupid wouldn’t feel it.

His cocky smile widened as he shook Cupid’s hand, and then he let go. His eyes wandered suddenly, looking around at the small empty park. Then, his smile faded and his face became more serious. He sighed as well, giving indication that it was probably time to get down to business now. ”So, I’m sure you were probably filled in on things by Death-Sama. You’re probably wondering why Jin isn’t here either. Well, he told me to meet up with you while he takes care of some things. He’s looking into some of the places where hollow were last seen, and he told us to do the same. This park is actually one of those places.” Don said. So, that was it. Jin was off doing some sleuthing. He had probably thought it better if they split up to check the areas where Death-sama said that hollow had last been. How would Cupid respond to what he had been told about the situation? Don stood and watched the Quincy Executive, waiting for his response or questions about all that he had told him just now.

As the shadow of the Senkeimon disappeared, Kubi saw someone he was not really expecting to see. Medium-length brown hair, brown eyes glittering with intelligence, and an air of nobility and power. A small smile briefly appeared on Kubi's face before being dispelled by his usual stoic face. Kubi silently approached Kyomei. "Good morning to you, Kubi. You've probably scoped out the place, where do you think that we should begin? I've got your back, as always, and its nice to be working together for a change, instead of training against each other."

Kubi smiled grimly. Just as he was about to answer, however, a voice spoke out. And what a voice. Cold, chilling, and terrifying, it sent chill's even up Kubi's back. Kaizoku-Nishin roared out in his head. "HAHAHAHA! I FUCKING LOVE THIS GUY! DAMN HE'S AWESOME! COME ON! LET'S GO FIND HIM! I WANT TO KICK HIS ASS!" Kubi's eyes tightened, his eyes tightened. He knew for a fact that no one was around, as he had scoped this place out himself. He spun around quickly, blurring with his movement. His lips tightened as nobody was there.

He turned towards Kyomei. "Kyomei. I am glad you are here. There are not many I would trust to have my back. But even more so, this ... Kido this thing has ... I am glad I have your expertise at my side. Did you recognize it?" Kubi's brown eyes were serious, but friendly for a brief moment, his features relaxing momentarily. Then, he was back. "However, now is not the time for pleasantries. Due to the danger in this mission, we should not split up. First, we search the most reaitsu-active areas of Karakura Town: Downtown, the Shopping District, and the Business District. We go to Downtown first." And Kubi was off, expertly utilizing airground to increase his forward momentum. Occasionally, if the need arose, he would pause to wait for Kyomei. Otherwise, he didn't stop until they arrived at their destination.

OOC: Okay, so no intro from Neah means an open spot for any Human World people. Come on down! And also, skip me.

[Kyomei Kuchiki]

Kyomei shook his head towards Kubi. "I'm afraid that I have no clue what this is or how it speaks from everywhere. My guess is that it is some supernatural force that surrounds the town even as we speak. I definitely agree that we should examine the most spiritually active sections of the town first, as the disappearing Hollows seems to connote that spiritual beings are the main target. And of course we shouldn't split up, we make a good team. You're fast and actually have a release, and I've grown a bit in my kidou arts since we've last trained together."

Together, the left the area for the Downtown region of Karakura Town. What awaited them there couldn't really be known. Kyomei was almost half as fast as Kubi, though there seemed to be something holding him back from his full potential. He wasn't travelling as fast as he could, though he was still outdistancing Kyomei quite frequently. That soon ended as they reached the downtown area of Karakura town. It seemed... empty. There was a lack of spiritual activity that had seemed to drain the town due to the massive disappearance of all the Hollows. "Kubi... this feels like a graveyard to me..."

When the two got to that downtown area, they would notice the feeling much more. As Kyomei had described it, the place felt like a graveyard. It actually looked like one too. There weren't even any people, let alone spirits bustling about the area. It was...empty. To those spiritually aware who had felt the large amount of spiritual activity in this area four days ago, it would indeed make sense that the area now felt dead. Like a spiritual graveyard. It was unsettling, and yet it had to make them wonder. Just what could have caused something like this? What could have caused all of the hollow in the area to suddenly disappear. No, not just this one area. The hollow had been disappearing from multiple areas. That made things even worse.

An eerie breeze once more blew past, brushing across the two Shinigami. It was cold as it rushed over their bodies, most likely chilling them to the bone. And despite the spiritual death they felt, it almost felt as though someone was watching them. It felt as though their every movement was being monitored, like someone was playing a game with them. Once again, the two of them would hear it. The eerie cackling from the voice earlier. It suddenly began echoing around them, laughing at them. The laughter came from Kyomei's left, and then it moved behind him. Soon, it was near Kubi, and then moved to his right. Soon, that echoing, eerie laughter surrounded the both of them, haunting them as it continued. Someone was mocking them.

Then, just as quickly and suddenly as it had come, the laughing died down. Just like that, it had stopped. However, the sound that took it's place was one that was even more eerie and haunting. A low howl was heard from in front of the two Shinigami. The howl continued, and more of those same cries began joining that first one so that they all became one. From the streets of that deserted downtown area, black figures began rising. It began with just one that rose from the ground. It was about the size of an average man, with a black cloak like thing covering it's whole body. It simply floated in the air just like that, with no feet visible underneath the flowing black cloak. Where it's face was, there was only a white mask with a beak-like protrusion where the mouth was. It's eyes, which were a menacing red, could be seen in the darkness of the eye slits. That thing that had risen, looked like a mini Gillian. It was way smaller, and much more slender.

More of those mini Gillian suddenly began rising just behind the first one. They rose until there were ten of them total. Ten of those Gillian-looking creatures. Just what were they? Were they what had turned this place into a graveyard? The ten mini Gillian howled in unison once more and then they all attacked. They rushed towards the two Shinigami in a V-like formation, opening their beak-like mouths as they did so. If it was true that the hollow had disappeared, then just what were these things?!

OOC: Sorry for the lateness of this post. It would have been up two days ago when I finished it but the laptop was acting up and I was short on time so I couldn't post it til now..

Cupid's face changed slightly when he was informed that he was not approaching Jin Yamada. He still approached him and extended his arm with a raised eyebrow. This man was unknown to Cupid. However Cupid wasn't worried. He could sense enough to know that this man was a bount and since he was going to meet with the Bount Executive he figured this may be one of his underlings. Cupid had no underlings. He didn't have followers. He was all on his own. This was why he joined Redemption. So that he may have allies. Otherwise he is pretty much on his own. That is aside from the living stuffed animal and the potential fullbringer living in his mansion.

"I know that our races may have tention between them but I would like you to know I am no typical Quincy. I do not bare any hatred towards the bount as long as they do not wish me harm. Which goes without saying but I wanted to save us the awkwardness." Cupid was being sinsere he didn't want to get off to the wrong start with his allies already. Cupid was a pretty laid back guy afterall it was his other half that didn't get along with others too well. Cupid got along with a lot of people. He was easy to please. Hopefully Don didn't have any ill feelings towards the Quincy race as a whole because if he did then it was going to be weird working with him. However Cupid figured there would be none of that because afterall they were in the same organization together. Cupid knew about the Bounts being affiliated when he signed up but that didn't bother him in the slightest.

Cupid had been unphased by the laughter from the Bount. He figured that the bount was laughing as a way to deal with the awkwardness of correcting Cupid. He didn't even begin to consider the Bount was insulting him. "I'm bummed that I am not meeting a fellow Executive right away but that is neither here nor there. I can meet him later. I have been slightly informed. I do not need too much information it just gets redundant. I'd just perfer if you could lead the way." Cupid looked around. Cupid didn't know if Don had looked over this area yet or not. He also didn't know which park he was refering to. Since Jin was the one who knew all of the details that Cupid didn't know or even care to know he figured that the Executive would have filled in his subordonate very well. There was no need for explainations. Cupid was ready to get the ball rolling.

"Alright then, we should probably do our part now." Don said. He turned away from Cupid and began walking away. Don suddenly stopped and turned to Cupid. "Hey," he said as he turned around. "You don't sense anything, right? It feels kinda dead around here, doesn't it?" Don was referring to the still quiet around the area. If Cupid extended his energy sensory and tried to sense reiatsu, he wouldn't feel anything. Just like where Kyomei and Kubi were, this park too felt like a graveyard.

Don's brow furrowed, and he looked to be thinking about something. "This isn't good." he said, once more talking to Cupid. "Gatz said that he had been keeping track of hollow activity in this park and that it was one of the places where the hollow started disappearing. That's why you were told to meet us here." Don started walking again, expecting Cupid to follow after him. The park they were in was rather large, and they were now heading further into it. As they moved closer to the center, Cupid would probably notice the sudden chill that came over the area.

"Well well well...look what we have here...." said a voice that appeared out of nowhere. From the sound of it, it belonged to a woman. "A Quincy and a Bount working together? Am I dreaming?" When Don and Cupid turned around, they'd see who that voice belonged to. She was a tall woman, with dark skin and short, messy dirty blond hair. The outfit she wore was similar to a dominatrix's with black knee-length heels and black latex stockings, arm length gloves, and a black sleeveless top with tight black shorts. The woman was grinning as she spoke. Her voice was high-pitched and shrill. Her eyes were dark and the look in those eyes of hers told the two that she was there to stir up trouble.

She simply stood there, staring them down with that sneering look on her face. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" she asked the two men, noting their speechlessness. Don didn't respond to her. Instead, he continued staring. He noted the necklace the woman wore on her neck which was glistening in the sun. The woman was even rubbing it between her fingers while she was sneering at them. Who was she? What was she even doing in that area? More importantly, why was she in this area where the hollow had so suddenly disappeared? There were many questions that would need to be answered by this woman.

[Katekarin Mekatoku]

Looking into the disappearence of Hollows? Katekarin Mekayoku Rinkashimidoari XSG of Xcution was tasked with finding out the cause of such disappearnces. Xcution as the guardians of mankind. These hollow mongrels are a threat to Humans. So maybe whatever was causing these disappearences can be used to take care of other threats. "Maybe we can make this into a gas." Zukarinkuari growled. The XSG assassin stood in the alley waiting for someone of his ally to come. He had arrived at the location earlier than anyone whom was on his side would arrive. Minutes later a group of rowdy teens, barely into the college level would pass by. Drunk off their asses and full of pride, they shoved Katekarin whom would fall, causing his wallet to fall from his pocket. Opening to a picture he had not seen in a long time. The sweet sming face of Kimi, the tallest of the group picked up the wallet and looked at the others laughing. The picture was in black and white so they assumed the man was of old age.

"Hey! Looks like grandpa had a love interest. Lets show him what we think!" He licked the picture and threw it at Katekarin. He had not taken his medicayion, so it was obvious what will happen next as the whispers began to laugh. In his eyes, the wallet became Kimi herself, she looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Katekarin! Help me!" with that he was picked up and shout at him. "Are you listening!" But he wasnt, Zukarinkuari had taken over. But we will see what happens to Katekarin when he loses control.

The dreams always started out the same, always good, but it never ended good. Good things always came to an end in this world, and thr good dreams always yutn out to be nightmares. And the first thing Katekarin would see when he would open his eyes again he would be standing in the middle of a deserted resturant. He was not aware of what this resturant was but everything around was in pristine and amazing, the condition of it was unnatural as the lack of human interaction. But everything about this resturant made everything seem okay. But that was not the only thing that was a concern or a surprise to Katekarin, it was thr fact that his body was unconsciously moving, his ams around a figure of whom he had not seen for a very long time. The air filled with a song that he had not heard of, but it put his mind to ease as he would look into the figure he was slowly dancing with.

Ann was there with him, in his arms, and she looked perfectly fine. As if everything that had happened in his life was a long nightmare, and he had finally woken up from it. The to sing as she would look back up to him and sweetly smile "You sure did changed the last time I met. Why do you choose to wear that get up all day?" her soft voice was like daggers to his heart, something he had not heard in a long time and it brought a familiar pain to his heart. "My love must be a kind of blind love. the lyrics would sing. "I cant see anyone else but you." it continued "I never meant for this to happen to you." Katekarin would softly say to Ann. "I never wanted bad things to happen to you, and look what happened? I wasn't able to protect you." Ann would look down for a brief momen then look back up at him, her reflection looking back at her as the tinted lenses of the gasmask ptevented her from seeing his eyes.

"Shh, were together now. And that is all that matters." she would reply placing her head onto his chest. The song began to sing again after a brief moment. "Are the stars out tonight? I dont know if its cloudy or bright." He looked down and continued to allow himself to slow dance with someone close thay he had lost so long ago. It just felt so good to be able to feel what she felt like, and just have that mindset that it was all a dream. But the biggest thing that allowed him to break from this fantasy is that he could not hear the voice of someone even familiar, a voice that he hated for such a long time. He could mot hear the twisted voice of Zukarinkuair, he was silent, nonexistant. He not being there was a huge concern to him, but all of this was put to rest when the song continued to sing. That was responsible for blocking out his own thoughts.

"I only have eyes for you. he eould continue to look at the person that he had lost so long ago. He had wanted to stop it from happening. Nut the past was the past, and what he remembered could not be altered no matter how bad he wanted it to change. It was going to remain a fact, she was dead, she was not a part of his life anymore, and he knew it was his entire fault that he could not do anything. He lost her because he could not protect her, a she shook her head as if she knew what he was thinking and spoke as she stared into his chest. "It waa not your fault. What happened, happened and we have to keep moving forward. But I can tell you refused to move forward. Instead you would take several steps backwards, away from the road to recovery. And I know you refuse to keep moving. He slowly unhisged sevral key components thay had held his gasmask in place, it release a familiar hiss as he began to rove his gasmask. Everything went black for a moment, but when he was able to see, much to his horror everything around him was destroyed, old, desecrated. He was no longer holding the person he cared dearly for and themusic was gone. "Ann!? Ann!?" he shouted. When he turned around to try and find her, he was suddenly grabbed by the shoulders, the rotting, ruined body of Ann screamed horribly as her eyes began to bleed. "YOU KILLED ME. he screamrd back in horror as he was back in reality.

He was on the tallest guy, his hand gripped tightly on his throat as he snapped it in mere seconds. He was bloodied, everyone around him was dead. Katekarin slumped backwards as he covered the lenses of his gasmask. "What is wrong. can you not stand your nightmare." he growled. Katekarin shouted in reply, "Leave me alone!!!" he threw a rock into the darkness. "You are alone.." surrounded by darkness, lonliness, and the whisper of incoherent voices. Hopefully someone could save him from this. An ally in enexpected darkness. Though this was unlikely.
