"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
The flapping black cloak with red clouds was a symbol foreign to this world. So was the man whom they belonged to; yet somehow, the two were here in this world at this moment. The figure moved in silence through the savannah, trudging along underneath the burning sun. Each step came with caution and hesitation. Each step caused the white strings hanging on the man's circular, straw hat to swing from side to side. Each time the man took another step forward, a flash of gold and silver became visible underneath his cloak. The blade attached to the quandao strapped on the man's back glistened brightly in the light from that burning sun. At that moment, there was no other life present except this man. Upon his sudden arrival, all of the animals had run away. Maybe they knew of the danger that was soon to come. Either way, all that was left in this savannah was this mysterious man and that small tree in the center.
In his own world, the red clouds and straw hat symbolized a powerful group of people. This man, wearing those symbols, was obviously apart of these powerful group of people. Yet, in this world, these symbols would go unrecognized and seem foreign. How they appeared in this world no one would know. Not even this man knew, which was why he roamed this savannah; in search of clues to his whereabouts. Underneath that hat, the man's gray eyes stared out emotionlessly from his tanned brown face. A red bang covered the side of his right eye and a bushido braid was made of his black hair in the back of his head. On the man's neck hung what looked like a metal plate. Etched on that metal plate was what appeared to be four squiggly lines in pairs; one pair above the other. For some reason though, the symbol had been scratched out.
More walking brought the man to the center of the savannah, just under that one lonely tree. His emotionless gray eyes stared at the tree before him; taking it in. He stood there for a moment before finally deciding to sit down against it. His walking had been fruitless, and so he decided to take a seat in the shade. Little did he know that his presence here would soon come to the attention of an inhabitant of this foreign world. Little did he know that he was about to experience this strange world firsthand in battle.
Death. She was prepared for it. Every single day. Be it a bunny, a comrade or her own life...she was ready to handle it more than anything. This is a trait every samurai must carry, ne~? Even our highness here knew that. Rin Minamimoto may be an empress but when it came down to fighting, she was a samurai. A bit on the fashionable side, but she most certainly was one at heart. Everything about her appearance exuded this. Ranging from her kimono and her light bushido-esque armor to the very detailing of her monstrous size nodachi blade that was typically carried on a red belt wrapped around her hips. Rin had a stoic and somewhat peaceful expression on her face. For once, she felt like she was at peace; she was away from things that made her stark raving mad. She didn't quite know why because the empress always found something to be mad about.
The savannah wasn't quite fit for an empress but it was so vast and something about the area in general pleased the girl to no end. It was a nice, wide area. Not high class, but she could get used to it. She took silent steps as she wandered the seemingly endless field until she saw animals scattering about. Animals were always known to sense danger. Perhaps there was a hollow in the area? Oh dear...she'd have to take care of that, wouldn't she? Just when she was enjoying her little walk too. Ugh! Something stupid would happen when she was enjoying herself..that's just how it works. Sigh.
Rin ran in the opposite direction of the scattering animals. She ran and ran however...she found no hollow. Instead...there was a man sitting underneath the tree. Rin stopped to catch her breath and just simply stared at him. Was he human? Had to be. His attire certainly showed that he wasn't a shinigami and her senses would tell her that this one wasn't an arrancar. Could he even see her? Fiery toned eyes looked on with mild curiosity and then she'd see, on his back, a blade. This man...His overall look. Something about him screamed that perhaps, he was a blade user as well. It would be then that an idea hit the empress-like shinigami. Hn. Perhaps she didn't lose out on her leisurely time after all. She could fight this one and the girl loved a raw fight more than anything.
"That blade of yours...You must be skilled in using one, ne~?" Rin held the blade in its entirety by the hilt, sheathe and all and settled into a defensive stance. "I do hope that's the case and that it's not just for show. That would be rather disappointing~."

Emotionless gray eyes stared up at the Empress Samurai through the dangling white strings as she approached. Somehow, this man could see her despite being in her spiritual form. This proved that he was strong. Even being foreign to this world, he was still able to see her. Maybe it was a result of the strange energy he bore. Nonetheless, those emotionless eyes stared into the empress's own, boring into her. The man sitting under the tree stared at her for a few seconds, unsure of whether or not he should answer her question. She seemed to be taunting him. That much he could tell. She was obviously looking for a fight.
"Have you come to collect my bounty?" the man asked her. In his world, the organization that the red clouds and straw hat symbolized were criminals. In that world, he was a wanted man with a Bounty listed in the Bingo books of all villages. He simply continued to stare at her, remaining in that sitting position underneath the tree. His hand did not yet go to the two katana strapped on his right side for he saw no attack coming from her yet. He really didn't want to get up though. He was so relaxed under this tree and out of the hot sun. He wondered who this woman was with the black garb she wore. What village was she from? Better yet, where was he?
"Tell me...what village are you from?" the man asked her after she answered his first question. His emotionless gray eyes continued staring into her own fiery toned ones. As his eyes moved down to scan her whole body, he noticed that her garb resembled that of a samurai. Despite it's foreign appearance, it still resembled bushido armor. Of course, he would know as he was a samurai himself. He no longer wore the bushido armor, however, for it was heavy and it didn't do his speed any good against the beasts his organization hunted. Instead, he kept the bushido braid, which the Empress wouldn't be able to see due to the straw hat and dangling white strings. The man could sense strength from her though. Maybe he should take her challenge and engage her in combat. He hadn't fought another samurai in years.
OOC: Changed my typo from 'shinigami' to 'samurai'.

"I'm tearing it all down. No structure. No Gods. No Masters. Just pure Anarchy..."
She simply stared back at the man. Her gaze was one that was full of confidence and power. Rin always had this sort of quality about her. She was someone who truly desired power and undoubtedly required it along with strength, presence and many other things. She was an empress. They were qualities she should exude and right now, she was doing it at full blast. Of course, that didn't mean that she couldn't feel his own piercing gaze on her. His was also one of power and that excited the empress-like shinigami tremendously. So, in the little that they'd been staring at one another, she'd smirk, waiting on a response. Not one out of spite, but simply out of amusement. Someone like this...he just couldn't possibly be a disappointment to her. Not at all. Rin really knew how to pick her opponents and this was someone she was sure wouldn't bore her.
"Have you come to collect my bounty?"
Rin blinked a few times at hearing this. Mostly out of confusion. She'd lower her weapon into a relaxed position. "Ne~?" she stared. "Bounty? Darling, I haven't the slightest clue as to what you're talking about. Surely you couldn't have taken my taunt in the wrong manner. I simply want to fight." she stated matter-of-factly. The tone of her voice had a sweet sound to it but she was quite serious. She only wanted a fight. Something to make her heart race. Something to get her blood running. Something to keep the eternally boredom struck empress occupied. This was the perfect opportunity to do so. Enma would never accept such a proposal and on top of that, he'd have no problem demonstrating his superiority to her in less than a few minutes, which, honestly, wasn't very exciting for the shinigami. She wanted a raw sword fight. That was what she was craving right now.
"Tell me...what village are you from" She could laugh. Really. This stranger man was amusing was he not? "Village? Ne~? My dear, I come from no village. I am from Soul Society~. I am a shinigami as well as an Empress~." she said calmly. She hoped he wouldn't just continue to sit there and converse. They could always do that during their fight...with their weapons. Rin enjoyed a good conversation, but she wanted a fight. "I, Rin Minamimoto, am just simply looking for a good, raw, sword fight to sate my boredom and my curiosity~ Sadly, I do not come across many opponents like myself so I can never truly fight the way I desire." When she said "like myself" she meant samurai. She couldn't tell if the stranger was one but she'd be quite happy if he was. Things could be settled the old fashioned way and if she lost, it wouldn't matter, because it meant that she lost in a fight that she loved.
She'd sigh. "Ah~ ...What can you do, ne~? she shrugged, giving a half smile. "...Yourself, sir?"
OOC: I think I'm going to change his text color to blue. Also, my bad for the delayed post.
IC: The man simply stared at this woman before him. This woman who seemed so strange yet so familiar. The large sword she had strapped to her side and the samurai-esque armor she added to her black clothing brought familiarity to this man. Her strangeness, however, came from her appearance. She was dressed in all black. Why? She didn't even have a forehead protector to tell him what village she was from. Was she lying to him about not wanting to collect his bounty? Was this woman really just looking for a fight? If so, then he would indulge her requests; though before they fought, he would give her fair warning as to who he was.
The man slowly began standing up after the shinigami female had finished speaking. The white tassles dangling from his straw hat swayed from side to side as he lifted his body from that spot underneath the tree. As he stood up, Rin would notice that he was taller. From that sitting position he had been in earlier, he seemed a little shorter; however now that he was standing, it became clear that he was about three or four inches taller than her. That would probably be a little intimidating to anyone else, but given the determination present in the shinigami female's eyes at the moment, it didn't seem as though a simple difference in height would deter her from the battle to come.
"If it is a fight you want, then I will indulge your request..." the man began, speaking softly and slowly. He lifted his head, and Rin would see the grey emotionless eyes as the white tassles swayed to the side in the sudden breeze that swept through. "I am Kousen Ishiru, Samurai of the Akatsuki and former shinobi of Kirigakure." the man known as Kousen declared confidently. Kousen didn't know what the Soul Society she mentioned was, and he believed it to be something like the shinobi villages in this strange world. If that was true, and this wasn't his world, then she would know nothing of what the Akatsuki were. So, that was why he gave her his full name rather than the name 'K' that he usually went by.
Kousen's lifted his right hand and used it to part his swaying black cloak slightly. Underneath it, Rin would see the gold sheathe he had strapped to his right side and the black sheathe strapped to his left. His hands moved to the black hilt sticking out from the black sheathe strapped tightly to his left hip. "I can tell that you are a fellow samurai, so I will be kind enough to warn you now. I won't be holding back." Kousen said, stating this last part very matter-of-factly. With incredible speed, Kousen was suddenly on the move, heading towards her. The speed he moved at was simply incredible. Since she was a spiritual being, she could see his movement easily, but for someone who seemed like a human, it was still incredibly fast.
Kousen reached her position in mere seconds from his primary standing position under that tree. When he did, his black blade was pulled from it's sheathe in a quick slash towards her. This wasn't just any random slash though. It was a bushido. The quick draw. He did it with incredible speed and swiftness. It wasn't something that a samurai like Rin couldn't counter though. Kousen was testing her with this first swing. If she could block it, then that was good; however if she couldn't and she dodged it, then she wasn't meant to call herself a samurai. He wanted to see what the samurai of this strange world could do. "Don't run from it. Come at me with everything you have." he spoke boldly as he swung.
