Jin Yamada vs. Yoshi

"Are you a worthy challenger, Bount?" A deep toned, female, voice demanded of Jin as the two stood at in a arena. The battleground was a large, flat, white tiled arena with four giant pillars erected in the corners of it, one in each corner. Outside of it, the environment was a barren wasteland with several cliffs surrounding the arena ,with no signs of life visible.
Yoshi has dark green teal hair and wears a purple traditional Manchurian style qipao with beige pants. She seems to be somewhat masculine and utilizes her feet for kicking opponents in movements that suggest she is a wushu fighter. With thin, needle- like eyebrows on her, almost a pointy-shaped jaw and dark-skinned, she is quite an intimidating character.

Yoshi stood on the left side of the arena, Jin positioned on the right, a cocky smile on her face as her eyes narrowed. She already had her doll drawn it, in which it seemed to only have a weapon form. In her right hand, she wielded a Jian sword, the blade being silver and the grip being a dark grey color with blood red colored grinning mouth in the middle of the crossguard. From the bottom of the hilt extended a four foot chain attached to a metal, crimson red, battle fan. The battle fan seemed to twice the size of her hand at least, the tips of it colored silver and on one side of the fan was a pink lipped, golden colored, grinning mouth like the sword she wielded. "Oooooh~ he looks tastey!~" A high pitched, female toned voice rang out of the battle fan as the mouth spoke the words, revealing the doll's female side.

"We'll see about that, he better put up a good fight!" A deep toned, male voice rang out from Yoshi's blade. "Quite, you two, I will ultimately judge his strength." Yoshi silenced the doll, swinging her blade around by the chain gradually for a bit, before yanking up on the chain and grabbing the handle of the jian when it rose upward. She turned her left side to face the male bount, keeping her eyes locked on him as she held her blade above her head aimed at Jin, one of the bladed sides facing the top of her skull. At the same time as she took this stance with the jian, she extended her left arm out and had her battle fan pointed at Jin, flicking it open fully. She stood with her legs completely straight and was raring to fight Jin. He could practically feel the hostility that radiated off of the battle-ready Bount.

[Jin Yamada]

The Bount Leader, Jin Yamada, stood with his hands in the pockets of his black trenchcoat as he eyed the woman he was challenging. Nothing like a break from working hard at the company! He was even dressed as though he was going to a business meeting with the light pink, almost white shirt, black loosely tied tie, black pants and black dress shoes underneath the trenchcoat. Jin simply smiled at the woman before him. Her reiatsu felt familiar to him to a degree. He couldn't put a finger on it, but it didn't matter because this battle was going to be pretty sweet despite what race she was. It was going to be pretty fun because he was going to get to test out some of his battle yoyos today.

"I should ask the same of you stranger." Jin spoke in return to Yoshi's words. He pulled both hands from his pocket, retrieving two circular objects. In the left, he held what appeared to be a yellow yoyo and in the right, a red one. Jin continued to eye Yoshi even as he retrieved the toy-like objects from his pockets. "I am Jin Yamada...Leader of the Bount." Jin said. Then, without a moment's notice, he suddenly flicked his right hand forward, allowing that yoyo to fly off of the string towards the ground. It moved along the ground and began heading towards the female Bount. It was fast! It covered the length of three feet in only a second. Not only that, but it seemed as though it was moving on it's own. The metal wire that Jin had wrapping the inside of the yoyo was almost invisible in the light because it was so thin.

Jin twitched his finger, and the yoyo immediately shot up within two feet of the female Bount without warning. The humans called this trick "Walk the Dog." Jin found that it was good for surprise attacks like this. Even as the yoyo was shooting up towards the female Bount's face from the ground like that, blades popped out of the sides, so that now the yoyo became a spinning red buzz saw. It was going to cut her face up if it hit. Jin only smiled as the yoyo was launched, waiting and watching for the female Bount's next move. He had a feeling the weapon in her hand was a doll, which would explain the familiar reiatsu, but until she released it, he couldn't be sure. Either way, Jin was going to find out one way or another. Only time would tell.

"Ho-oh~? You're this realm's leader? Amusing, Kariya would love to hear that." Yoshi boasted, her eyes gleaming with eagerness to test the male. The female seemed to be filled with blood lust, a fighting spirit burned into her. The female bount's cocky smile did not falter as she easily saw the attack coming from the Bount leader. It was fairly obvious to her that an attack was coming from the yoyo weapon Jin wielded. In response, Yoshi kicked off the ground leftward swiftly, avoiding the bladed yoyo with ease as she performed a leap into the air gracefully ,after landing on the ground from the evasion, forward and swiped down at Jin with a shout with her battle fan. Occurring during the swipe, a dozen, metallic, large needles fired from the fan, speeding down at the Bount leader and threatening to sting him across his torso and arms. Following this, the female landed on the ground and began swinging her blade around by the chain at a rapid pace, the blade moving so fast that it soon looked to become completely circularly. Jin could still see the blade of course, but he could clearly see the female was quite fast, the quick movement from earlier displayed that.

"I am Yoshi, and you will show me your power Jin Yamada!" She cackled, flinging her blade at the Bount Leader with tremendous strength, the chain lengthy abnormally long as it raced to strike Jin straight in the chest. While she did this, she made a beeline straight for Jin, aiming of course to close the distance between the two of them. As she did this, she had gripped with her now free hand a lower part of the extending chain, yanking it upward to her left fiercely and downward to her right with the same amount of power. This caused the chain the whiplash diagonally, making the blade as it reached Jin to move in the same may and attempt to cut from his shoulder down to his hip. Of course, his senses and instinct gave him the time to perform a well timed block or evasion if he chose to. Yoshi was now testing the male's battle capabilities of handling a long ranged melee attack from her. His reaction would determine the next step she would take in combating the male.

Kariya? Jin wondered who she was talking about, but there was no time to wonder because now she was on the offensive. She had dodged his yoyo pretty well by jumping to her left. Now, she was coming in pretty fast towards him. A counterattack most likely. She probably thought she could get him while that yoyo was still out like that, but Jin didn't need it to come back in order to make his own evasion. Despite her speed, Jin had incredible instinct and senses. This allowed him to keep up with her despite his own speed being below hers. He was able to follow her with that animal-like eyesight of his and come up with a dodge with that wild animal-like instinct of his. As she reached him, he jumped back, having seen her raise her arm when she got there. A slash-like attack was the most probable to come from the fan if she was raising her arm like that.

As Jin was jumping back, he saw the spikes shooting out and immediately reacted. Already moving away from the slash, he would also be farther away from the spikes, which would allow him more time to react before they reached him. His first yoyo was already coming back to his hand as he defended. The yoyo in his left hand whipped out and began moving in a circle in front of him. It was moving so fast that it was able to intercept the spikes before they got past. Three of them, however, did get past the spinning yoyo, but these only grazed Jin's arms and shoulder slightly. Jin landed after that, pulling the second yoyo back into his hand as well. He watched as Yoshi began spinning the blade part of her weapon in the air. He knew what would come next. Of course, instinct and experience told him that she was going to throw it next. People with weapons like that usually did so after spinning it like that. The spinning was to give it momentum and give it more piercing power. Jin wasn't going to stick around to get skewered though.

He rushed forward as she was spinning the blade, but that was when she began cackling. He saw her arm twitch at that moment and he knew that what he had predicted was coming next. She was throwing it! With a spin and duck to his left, Jin moved under the flying blade. He wasn't done there though. When his spin brought him back around to face her, he saw that she was already closing the distance, and was yanking on the chain while doing so. Was she pulling it back to her to hit him in the back? Not wanting to stick around to find out, Jin cartwheeled to his right, but this wasn't an ordinary cartwheel. It was an Aú sem Mão. A handless cartwheel used in capoiera to avoid leg sweeps. If the blade was coming back to hit him in the back or the head from behind, he would be leaping over it with this move since it would be aimed at him when he was ducked down. Jin wasn't done there though. His hands flicked out while he was in the middle of his cartwheel and the yoyos flew out with incredible speed. They flew past Yoshi's head, just inches from her ear. She would probably think he missed and try to take advantage of it. He had missed, but it was on purpose to set up for an attack from her blind spot.

With a twitch of his finger, the yoyos began coming back and crisscrossing across one another as they did so. With incredible speed, the two yoyos would wrap around Yoshi's neck and tighten there if she didn't do something. With the blades popping out of the sides of both yoyos, she wouldn't just have to worry about being strangled though. They were going to cut her throat open as well. She wouldn't be able to go to either side to avoid them because they had already gone past both sides of her head. If she did go to either side of the yoyos, she would be cut by the metal wires on either side of her ears. She could duck, but Jin was expecting that. "So be it then." Jin responded. He was already rushing in as he was landing after throwing the yoyos in midair. He aimed a roundhouse kick towards her chest when he had reached about two feet from her. If she ducked, the kick would hit her face instead. Reiatsu was already growing on the foot as it closed in. She was fast, and Jin knew that from how easily she closed the distance after evading his first yoyo attack. He was expecting her to get out of this next attack and counter with something deadly, so that reiatsu was building there as a precaution.

[Alkaid Alkane]

When the blade returned to Yoshi, the handle landed right back in her grasp, her experience and instinct playing a factor. She had practiced and battled with her doll various times before in its sealed and release forms, so she would not make a mistake easily with either with no kind of interference from her opponent. Jin was quick, but Yoshi was faster. Jin's mind and senses were sharp but Yoshi's were sharper. Yoshi saw the yoyo attack come, even seeing the projectory of it and saw that the attack would not hit her if she continued her path forward, recognizing the attack was meant to not hit her. This only meant one other thing: a trap. Her eyes narrowed into a fierce glare as the blades passed by her head. It seemed she was annoyed with the attack that Jin was trying to perform. She did not know that he intended to nail her with a melee attack, while forcing her to avoid the blades. However, Jin knew nothing of her ability, in which is why he would not expect the following to occur.

Yoshi purposely played into the bait, ducking enough to avoid the blades as she was continuing to charge forward. However, while she ducked, she brought her left arm towards her, the battle fan she wielded now infront of her as it flashed and in a split second, had tripled in length, and had expanded out into a large, circularly, maroon red and gold rimmed shield that covered Yoshi from head to toe infront of her. This all took place in a second, only a flash from her battle-fan displaying that a release was occurring and it was nearly instant. Not a single word was uttered from Yoshi, contributing to the factor of surprise that would naturally catch Jin. The shield formed as Jin threw the kick at the female's face, the attack meeting the shield as Jin's leg would be halfway out. Yoshi lashed her shield out in a bashing motion, going from right to left, knocking Jin's rounding leg back down and also clipping Jin if he could not avoid, which was unlikely since he was only on one leg but he could try and stop his roundhouse from occurring and just deal with the shield bash.

Yoshi was very agile and flexible of course, so ducking and attacking in the fashion she performed was only slightly irritating to her. The bashing blow would not damage Jin severly, maybe bruise him at best and knock him on his ass, but he was still in the fight. Following the bash, Yoshi moved in the direction of her shield bash and performed a roll. Her shield looked like it was going to be in the way but it suddenly closed and returned to its long, fan shape, allowing her to perform the maneuver and face Jin from a different position to avoid an hindrance from his yoyos. Jin would now be able to see that Yoshi's left arm was completely enclosed in a silver, dark blue rimmed armor, her left shoulder actually being a green and red checkered patter with a grinning mouth on it, the rest of the armor encircling her neck, mouth and nose. "You see me in my true form~, I am the ultimate defense~" The almost mocking, female voice, of her doll laughed, suddenly reverted back to its normal form, a sly smile on the face of Yoshi. With a shout, she ran forward and swiped with the fan at Jin, releasing another barrage of needles at him. As she did that, she was spinning around her blade, seeming to prepare for another throwing manuever. What was she up to?

Yoshi's doll strictly centers on melee combat, both in an offensive and defensive manner. Having not a true form as the other dolls do, the transformations the weapons undergo only cost Yoshi 100 reiatsu. The battle fan she wields represents defense while the blade represents offense. In either release form, they become a form of attack and a form of defense. Yoshi's battle fan enlargens to almost 4 times its original size and can open up to create a metal shield that covers the entire front of her body, while providing armor for her left arm, neck and half of her head. The blade she wields transforms into a dozen, golden, energy blades that levitate from the original, all in which can be fired at a target and be replaced by another blade in an instant. Her battle fan gains a 50 percent increase in reiatsu strength for enlarging, but only the battle fan itself.

OOC: Are those needles you're releasing made of reiatsu or just regular steel? If it's regular steel, then they shouldn't be able to cut Jin because of cutback. The new twitter announcement said that only reiatsu could bypass the cutback effect.

IC: Just as Jin had planned. Yoshi had ducked in order to avoid his attack. She played right into Jin's hand. Jin didn't know it, but she was thinking that she was catching Jin off guard. In actuality, Jin had planned and prepared for a counter, though he hadn't known what it would be when he planned ahead. That was why that reiatsu had been building on his leg. Of course, with her average senses, she wouldn't have been able to sense it. Not in the heat of battle like that, which is why Jin had the element of surprise at that moment. He wasn't very worried when he saw that shield form in front of her, though it's quick formation did catch him off guard. Still, he had already prepared for some sort of counter. He knew that she was fast and so in order to keep up with her, he had to be one step ahead. This was so that when she did avoid his attacks with her speed, it would be too late to avoid the one right after.

So, as that shield formed, he continued his kick, knowing that whatever counterattack she had coming next wouldn't work. A smile formed on his face as the kick landed. As soon as his foot hit the shield, there was a powerful burst of reiatsu that was released. This was Sprengstoff. She wouldn't see it coming because such an attack would be unexpected. The female warrior wouldn't expect him to be able to control reiatsu like this outside of his doll. Bount didn't usually have any side techniques. Well, except Jin. Any other Bount that Yoshi had probably known hadn't had any side techniques. That was why Jin's surprise attack was going to land. The sprengstoff blasted out from that leg of his, moving out in a 360 degree direction from that leg and continuing out for about 4 or 5 feet. It pushed the shield back and since Yoshi was behind it, it knocked her back as well. With a reiatsu strength almost 1.5 times greater than her own, that blast was probably going to bypass her shield since it held lower reiatsu strength. Luckily, since she had that shield there, the damage wouldn't be as much. It would only stun her by pushing her back a few feet and interrupt her roll into the next attack with the fan. During that time, Jin could attack her freely- that is unless she recovered in time.

Jin's yoyo were already on their way back by now, having curved back. He moved his wrist down as they were curving back so that the yoyo curved downwards. Rather than move to where her head had been earlier, they were now moving lower- towards her back. The blades were still out on both yoyo as they moved to carve down into her back from above. True, she did have that shield active, but it didn't protect her on all sides. This was something Jin had noticed as it formed. It was a normal shield that only protected her from the front. That was why he took advantage of his already returning yoyo and had them attack her back. Since she was also stunned by the shockwave of reiatsu exploding out, she was going to be unable to defend for a second while those yoyo came down on her. She had to find some way to protect herself since there was no time to counter them. If she couldn't, they would carve pretty deeply into her back before returning to Jin, who was also jumping back in order to avoid another counter from the female warrior. An interesting weapon. I wonder if she's a Bount, and that's her doll. Though, if it is, she didn't utter a release phrase to change it's form. Does she have it constantly released like some Bount do?

Yoshi caught a glimpse of what Jin was performing as she had attempted her shield bash, surprise in her face. Indeed, she had not expected a form of counter attack, this was one of her downfalls in her actual defeat. Yoshi had became too confident in her powers and thought the Quincy Ishida would not perform some kind of counter attack while she was attacking. This was partly the case; but Yoshi already had her defense in place. Unknown to Jin; the shield form of her doll had double the reiatsu strength of her; condensing both its and Yoshi's reiatsu into it to strengthen it. Jin's attack did follow through; there was nothing stopping that but it could not break the shield that was currently Yoshi's doll. She let out a grunt of surprise as she was knocked back from the blast, knocking her onto her back as she skid across the ground. She skidded for dozens of feet, the female passing underneath the retracting yoyo blades of Jin. His attack had worked a little too well and he missed his opportunity to use his yoyos to strike the back of the female bount. The female bount eventually rolled backwards onto her feet in a crouching position, flaring with anger at the bount leader.

She bolted straight forward at the male and leapt off the ground, swinging her blade around by the chain in a swift circular maneuver. She quickly flung it at the male but he had already performed a counter measure, moving backwards. The blade struck and sunk into the ground where Jin had been. The female did not react negatively towards this, in fact, a mad grin spread across her face. She yanked back on the chain fiercely and she was drawn down to where her blade was suddenly as well as pulling it out of the ground. She took of hold of it skillfully and landed on the ground run, her blade flashing and shifting into its multiple, energy blade, form. She immediately swept infront of her horizontally, a dozen of the blades flying out at Jin. They targeted him 180 degrees infront of the male, threatening to pierce both his front and his sides if he did not move out of the way. Yoshi was indeed now taking a direct offensive to the bount leader.

"You're good...I'll give you that." the Bount Leader stated with a smirk as he was landing out of his jump. "Tell me, are you a Bount and is that your doll?" He flicked his yoyo in and out as he watched her. Yoshi was proving to be pretty good. She was giving him a run for his money. It seemed he was able to stay ahead of her quick speed with his incredible instincts, but he had to make sure not to slip. He had to stay on his toes at every step of the way. Now, she was coming at him with incredible speed again. Oh man was she fast. He could barely keep up. Jin steadied himself as she came in.

She slashed at him, but as she slashed, multiple swords flew out. What the? There was no way he saw that one coming. He had to counter it, but with the way those multiple blades were swinging into him, he couldn't just dodge off to one side. Jin jumped back and flicked his left and right hand towards the blades coming towards him, sending the yoyo in both hands in a swinging arc towards the blades. Both yoyo curved inwards towards the blades and glowed blue as they neared. Suddenly, both yoyo released curved blue "air blades" of reiatsu. This collided with the blades that were heading towards him, but Yoshi would be shocked at what happened next. The two blades of blue reiatsu actually cut through the blades Yoshi had swung towards Jin, severing them in half. Not only that, but the blades continued towards Yoshi herself. She would be pressed to avoid both of them as she was already in midswing. Tricky. Tricky.

Meanwhile, Jin was going to give her even more of a hard time. If he kept her on the defensive, she couldn't use that incredible speed to put him on the defensive. It was time to heat up this battle. Literally. He wasn't going to keep underestimating her. He pocketed the red yoyo in his right hand and pulled out a golden yoyo. This one had the Bount symbol grafted onto the sides of it. "Let me show you some of my power Yoshi..." he stated as reiatsu began flowing out from the golden yoyo. It was golden and magnificent, and Jin only smirked as it rushed out. "Bilden Sie Zuerst..." he spoke in almost a whisper. The yoyo burst into golden reiatsu, which proceeded to move up his right arm. It covered that whole arm, moving up until it reached his shoulder. Then, it solidified to become a glowing golden armor over that arm. Black lines ran all along the arm from the shoulder down to the hand.

Jin suddenly lifted his hand, aiming it at Yoshi in that moment. She would see the Bount symbol formed within the palm of his hand by the black lines that ran all along the golden arm. The symbol glowed, and suddenly, the temperature of the air around her increased significantly. It went from room temperature to about 100 degrees Celsius in a second. It would surely catch her off guard as she was trying to avoid his air blades. The sudden dehydration and nausea that would come from such an increase in temperature would be overbearing for her. This will surely be fun...
