Training: Gen & Andrea (R,NDE,SP)

Gen had seen Andrea disappear while those chains were lashing out towards him, but he hadn't known where he would appear next. That was why he continued with his sonido to move into the air to continued the attack. Incase Andrea dodged and then came after him, he would already be using sonido to move, which meant that Andrea's attack would miss. Little did Gen know that Andrea's sonido put him above Gen. Gen heard the sound of Andrea's reappearance out of his sonido and looked up as he was descending. He saw Andrea's palm aim outwards, and that was when he acted.

He could sense an attack coming. Andrea even took the stance. That was why Gen pulled on his chain, causing the blades to change course. Instead of crashing into one another and falling to the sandy floor, they would instead rocket upwards towards him. However, the blades didn't return to Gen. They moved past him, and higher into the air towards Andrea, slamming into His blades then rocketed up towards Andrea's outstretched hand. Though, instead of cut the hand off, one of the blades would only bounce off of Andrea's hierro harmlessly, though not before redirecting that hand. This was how Gen would escape those two Bala. With that hand redirected, the two Bala would shoot off in front of Andrea rather than in Gen's direction. That was close.

With that done, Gen was able to pull his blades back towards him and catch them in his hands. He gripped them by the chains at the and of the hilts and then began spinning them once more in front of him. He wasn't making much progress like this. Attack after attack had been easily defeated. The Sexta was strong...that much was for sure. This was the position Miss Asuka wanted. That he remembered her telling him. Her dream she had said it was. She would fare better than Gen would though since he was only a Fraccion.

Anyway, Gen was trying to figure out if he should attack again or wait for the Sexta to come to him. He wasn't really getting anywhere up until now. Maybe he could attack once more to learn something else about the Sexta. Gen has just the plan. He flicked the right blade forward, throwing that upwards at Andrea. Then, he flicked his left hand, shooting a bala off of that hand. The bala was aimed at the blade so that it would hit the hilt of the blade. That would push it towards Andrea at an even faster speed. It was only a distraction though. Gen then used a sonido once more, disappearing as the Bala exploded underneath the blade. He reappeared at Andrea's right, the blade in his left hand held in a reverse grip. He was already slamming the hilt of that blade towards Andrea's face as he reappeared. That hilt was going to cause some pretty blunt force damage if it hit due to the strength with which Gen was slamming it towards the side of Andrea's head.

Gen was good, even for a Fraccion he had amazing battle application. Andrea could have kept on the attack after the bala were thrown aside, but he wanted to allot Gen to move now. Those chains and blade were an annoyance if nothing else. Andrea landed on the ground a moment after Gen but it was several feet from him. Andrea knew of Askua's wishes. Her dream was to become Sexta. In all honesty, it wasn't a hard task, but for someone like here, it was much harder then it was for Andrea. Asuka had to work her way up each rank to get here, Andrea was given the position simply because he was that strong. Hell, he beat the Septima with less effort then he had used in this fight against Fraccion.

Again Andrea waited as Gen swung the blades. Huh? He threw one? Strange.But none the less, Andrea had an idea. It was more to have fun then anything else. He awaited the blade, actually moving towards it the moment Gen threw it. The bala helped as well. The first blade reached Andrea before the Gen himself did, which is exactly what he wanted. He turned his entire body to the side as the blade passed him and a moment before Gen appeared Andrea grabbed the blade. He was going to toy with Gen for a moment anyway. The moment he had his hand on the blade he used Sonido, it pushed him back several yards, but at a much faster speed then Gen could counter. Unless he released the chain he was basically a puppet. Hell, just the Sonido would have caused him to fall.

Reiatsu: 3150

Andrea dodged it! But of course, he was against the Sexta. Nothing less was expected. Gen watched as his blade sailed past the Espada and then when he had used Sonido and appeared to Andrea's right, he saw him holding onto the chain attached to the blade. Then Andrea himself had disappeared. Gen stared in shock, for he knew what was going to come next. Andrea's attempt was probably to pull Gen's blades from him, but sadly that wouldn't go so well. Gen tied the chains connecting his blades to his arms for this purpose. He could always have them even whenever they were knocked away.

The same was said for this situation. He wasn't sure if Andrea was trying to pull his weapon from him or pull Gen towards him, but he was sure that Andrea didn't know about the chains wrapped around his arms. He could only see the part of the chain extending from his blades. So Gen couldn't really let go. Even if he did, he would still be dragged forward because of the chain wrapping his arm. But, Gen wasn't going to just fall like that. As soon as he felt himself being dragged by the sudden jerking motion that occurred as a result of Andrea's moving back, Gen flicked his free right hand in Andrea's direction.

From that hand shot out a green bala. That bala rushed towards Andrea's face at quick speeds, though since Gen's reiatsu was weaker than Andrea's, his hierro would be able to easily take care of it. That wasn't Gen's aim though. Using that as a distraction, Gen hit the ground but did so in a way so that he rolled onto his back as he hit it. His roll was to his right where he then spun on his back to aim his feet out towards Andrea, which were now glowing green. He had charged it while he was spinning on his back. Now he was ready to let it loose.

The cero blasted from his feet, moving towards Andrea's position. Not only did it do that, but it also propelled Gen backwards. While that happened, he pulled on the chains, gripping them tighter as he did so until he was able to pull them past his head. With his strength being higher than Andrea's, and the force of the sudden cero propulsion from his feet to help him, Andrea would be dragged towards Gen even if he was already in the movement of dodging or not. However, Gen wouldn't be able to meet the Sexta as he came. Instead, the cero blasting from Gen's feet would. Of course, the cero would do nothing to harm Andrea's hierro, but being tugged like that was going to make him stumble. If he stumbled forwards, he was going to get a face full of Gen's cero and his eyes weren't going to be taking that well. Then again, he could always just let go. Though Gen didn't care if he did or not. The cero was already propelling him out of harm's way.

Gen's Remaining Reiatsu: 1440 (-50 for Bala, -160 for Luna Paso Cero)

Ah, finally. It was gradually progressing. Andrea finally pushed Gen enough to where he used a bala, and cero? Well that was sorta unexpected. None the less, Andrea released the chains the moment the bala neared him. Instead of attempting to compete with strength, Andrea enjoyed the fast and usually deadly attack. After releasing the chain Andrea used Sonido, it first shot him to the side, evading the bala and then forward. He stopped directly behind Gen, again. This time however Gen was.. on the ground. After appearing again Andrea lifted his blade and smashed it into the ground, it sunk into the sand, less then an inch from the left of Gens head. "Now now, you can't very well fight on the ground can you?" Andrea said in an almost cheerful voice. This training had turned into the most fun he'd had since becoming Espada. It was actually a decent waste of time. Andrea waited a moment, allowing Gen time to stand and regain his thoughts after the cero and such.

Reiatsu: 3050

Gen came to a halt once he had run out of fuel. The fuel being the cero that had propelled him. Had this not been a fight, he might have enjoyed that little ride, but unfortunately, it was and so he wouldn't have time to enjoy it. Even if he had tried though, Andrea's blade slamming down into the sand an inch from his head would have brought him back to reality. He heard the whoosh of air as the blade was stabbed near his head. He also heard Andrea's voice right after. Gen quickly sat up and then stood up fully before turning around to face Andrea. He tugged on the right blade, pulling it back towards him from where it lay many feet away behind him.

With his second blade now returned to his grasp, Gen was ready again. He didn't know what to do this time though. Should he just attack with a simple blade strike and try to engage the Espada in swordsmanship rather than try to get him to back away like last time? Last time, Gen had been afraid that the Espada would cut him, which of course, he knew he could. He couldn't cut the Espada, and that was why fighting closely like that was a bad idea. Though, at the moment, Gen was a little out of ideas other than going into Resurreccion, but even that wasn't going to help. None of his techniques would work because Andrea's reiatsu strength was stronger. Much stronger than Gen's. He needed to find another way to attack.

Andrea was being honorable to let Gen stand like that. He could have wounded Gen while he had been on the ground like that. Gen was happy that he hadn't though. He didn't want to die. So, he was just going to show Andrea just how he had lived and survived for all of these years! Gen moved forward, but as he did, he was already moving into a low spin. His spin was to the left. When he came out of it, his left leg was out and moving to strike into Andrea's own legs to trip him. Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't, but Gen had another plan too. If Andrea tried stepping back to dodge it, he would be open to Gen slamming his blade forward in a powerful slam with the hilt of his right blade into Andrea's chest. It wouldn't hurt him on the outside, but the blunt force damage would surely do a thing or two.

Andrea waited, once the Fraccion was clear of the blade Andrea pulled it from the ground, shooting sand into the air along with it. Andrea watched as Gen thought over his attack, smirking a little. He was obviously deep in thought. Andrea knew how unfair this training was, but for a Fraccion of the Noveno to be training with the Sexta was unheard of. Hell, some Espada didn't even train their own Fraccion, of course Andrea didn't have Fraccion yet so that was out of the question anyway. Hell, maybe one day this kid would be facing Andrea in a real match, perhaps after enough time has passed he will even be able to beat Andrea. This was the goal right? To build stronger allies?

Andrea focused on Gen, watching closely as he charged forward. He noticed the movement only a moment before it actually occurred, Gen was going to sweep his legs. Normally Andrea would have side stepped or something of the sort, but since this was training, it seemed rather useful to try something different. Instead he jumped directly up, with the help of his Reiatsu Andrea was pushed several feet above Gen's leg. Then the blade came in for it's strike. Since Andrea was still above Gen he threw out his leg, directly impacting Gen's arm. It was terribly hard but enough to throw the blade off of course. Andrea landed again directly in front of Gen. He jumped back several feet and began to spin the katana between his fingers until it finally reverted back to Reiatsu. From here, he was going to fight with little more then his hands.

Instead of stepping back like Gen had planned, Andrea had jumped into the air. Gen had expected him to make the predictable dodge and step back. Jumping into the air would have left him open had Gen been thinking about him even doing that. However, since he wasn't thinking about it, he hadn't been ready for it. His blade was already sailing forward towards Andrea, but Gen's arm was being kicked to knock the hit off course. Then, Andrea jumped back and away from from Gen. He was too fast.

Gen had known that this wasn't going to go well for him since the beginning. He had known that fighting an Espada wouldn't be easy. Somehow, he was surviving, but he didn't know how. Was the Espada toying with him? Why didn't he kill him? Other Espada would have already for being "weak". Gen was still growing though and he wanted to be more powerful, but since he was, he didn't consider himself to be "weak". He wanted to show this Espada that he wasn't so that he could continue to live. He didn't want to die, so he was going to fight with his all so that he could learn something today. Whatever he learned today he could apply when the invasion came so that he survived. That was Gen's goal now.

He stood up firmly and gazed at Andrea. He had put his zanpakutou away. Well, Gen knew that he didn't really need it since he had such a powerful hierro. Plus, putting it away meant that Gen wouldn't get cut. That was good wasn't it? Though, since he wasn't using his blade anymore, that meant that he had more options of attacks to choose from. He could use a cero or a bala to hurt Gen or protect himself. Ah! Gen was thinking too much. On to fighting again!

Gen rushed forward towards Andrea, holding his blades low like last time. When he was 3 feet from Andrea, he leaped into the air and flicked his left hand forward. From that hand shot out a dark green orb of reiatsu. It moved fast and impacted the sand at Andrea's feet before Gen even landed. That threw up sand and debris infront of Andrea to blind him. Then, Gen used Sonido, disappearing from sight. That was incase the Espada chose to fire a blind cero or bala to intercept Gen. Now, most people usually attacked from behind or some other odd angle after blinding an opponent, but Gen was going to be different.

He wasn't going to come from a predictable angle. Instead, his cero brought him to Andrea's diagonal right in a ducked down position. He was now underneath Andrea's arm, safe from an attack by that arm. He lifted his blade, stabbing it up towards Andrea's left eye. While that was going on, he was slamming his second blade's steel hilt down onto Andrea's right foot, hoping to injure that foot with blunt force damage. Andrea had to worry about two attacks coming at him at once now after already being blinded by the sand blasting up.

Andrea remained still. The entire time Gen seemed to be gathering his thoughts, Andrea didn't move. Even as Gen started to charge at him, Andrea only made the effort to place his left hand before the rest of his body. At this point Andrea came to realize that this was doing very little for him. Rather then wait and use another weak bala, Andrea already began to charge the purple orb in his palm.

Cero. Nothing too special. Just, a normal, original, lame cero. It took only seconds to complete. Andrea fired it only a moment after Gen released his bala. The cero and bala were nowhere near the same level. The bala hitting the cero was like a bird hitting a shield. It simply blew past the bala and continued towards Gen. Though he used Sonido a moment after his bala left his hand.

Andrea waited for only a moment when he realized Gen was drawing his blade into Andrea's face. Andrea pulled his right arm down and it impacted the top of Gen's head. The force wasn't much, since Andrea was no beacon of strength. But it was fast, and the speed did increase the force. Andrea's elbow hit the top of Gen's head or mask or whatever it was. Without hesitation Andrea brought his left knee up as well. It came in just behind Gen's second blade. If Gen didn't move in time, Andrea's knee was going to smash into his stomach.

Reiatsu: 2850

Too close. Had Gen not used sonido right after firing that Bala, he would have been hit by the cero that passed him as he moved forward. When Gen got under Andrea, he was aiming that stab at Andrea's eye, the only place not protected by Hierro; however, Andrea was an Espada. He most likely knew this area was a weakspot and would do anything to protect it. This was noted when Gen felt the elbow slam into the top of the hollow mask fragment surrounding his head. His head was protected by that mask fragment, but that didn't mean that the blow wouldn't offbalance.

"Ugh..." spoke the Fraccion when the elbow hit his head. He was offbalanced by that, and since he was already in mid stab, there was no way that he was going to be able to counter the knee smashing into his stomach. It hit him with full force and he was thrown backwards. "Ugh..." the Fraccion spoke as he flew backwards with the air knocked out of him. He hit the ground on his back with his blades clattering down at his sides. Gen took a few seconds to gather himself before finally sitting up. He grabbed his blades and then stood up, once more facing the Espada before him. He stared at Andrea for a few moments before speaking. "Tell me....how does one obtain the kind of power you have?" Gen asked in that calm, monotone voice of his. While he waited on an answer, he began planning his next attack.

Andrea paused, completely still. The Fraccion was hit directly, no doubt causing a great deal of pain and unbalancing him more yet. Andrea simply waiting, allowing Gen to regain his thoughts again. Andrea could have taken the offensive and continued his attack, causing unimaginable pain and damage to him. Instead he allowed the Fraccion to speak, paying full attention. "Tell me....how does one obtain the kind of power you have?"

"You want to know? Then don't speak, just fight. To further yourself, you need to give it your all. Tire your body, bring it to the verge of death, and then... come back. Not as yourself, but as a stronger you. A more intelligent you. Only when you have worked yourself, literally, to death, will you attain what I have." Andrea wasn't fond of speeches or coaching, but he had only spoke the truth. Time and time again he was on his death bed... and time and time again he came back, with even more motivation and power.

Reiatsu: 2580

OOC: Sorry for the delay. Hope we can still continue this. I'm going to do more paragraphs to get more TP.

IC: "Work myself...to death?" Gen repeated. Andrea's words had been incredibly motivational. Though he didn't understand exactly what Andrea meant, he was going to do his best to follow his advice. It wasn't everyday that an Espada was giving advice. It was a rare event in itself! So, Gen was going to follow this advice to obtain power. That was the only thing that he desired. "Then, from here on out, I will fight you with everything I have. I will fight to kill..." was all Gen had left to say. He would take Andrea's advice and give it all he had, and to do that, he had to aim to kill the Espada. He knew that there was no way he could but there was still no use in trying.

The Fraccion stared at Andrea for a few seconds, contemplating the Espada's words and his own words from a few seconds ago. He had to fight until his body was tired. He had to fight until he was on the verge of death. Death was something that frightened him. It was something he was afraid of each and every waking minute of his life. So, that was why he had to fight to kill Andrea to keep from dying. Nothing would stop him from gaining power. Nothing would stop him from protecting Miss Asuka!

Gen's hands suddenly lashed outwards, thrusting both of his blades towards the Sexta Espada. A slight whistle could be heard as the blades soared through the air, moving in an arc to impale the Espada from both sides. This was a simple tactic. Andrea could easily dodge a move like this, so that was why Gen was planning something else. The blades were already on their way, moving towards Gen when he rushed forward after them. He aimed both palms at the Espada and fired a Bala from his left hand. With his blades being attached to him by chains, this was possible. The Bala meanwhile, rocketed straight towards the Espada's head. Though it would do nothing against the Hierro on his face, when it exploded, it could potentially damage his eyes if they were open. That made it so that Andrea would have to duck, but with those blades coming at him from both sides, he couldn't. Then again, Gen knew that his blade's weren't strong enough to pierce the Hierro of the Sexta. So that meant that Andrea might just catch them.

The gears in the Fraccion's mind were spinning furiously, working themselves to their limit. Gen was a trap master, and that was how he fought. He countered the opponent and used traps to dispatch them. His style revolved around getting an opponent into a spot where they had no other options. Usually, he sat back and only dodged and countered while observing his opponent's, but this time...things were different. Andrea was an Espada. One of the best of the best Arrancar. There was no way he could simply dodge and counter such an experienced warrior. He would die like that. Gen had to attack and do it with every intent to kill.

While Gen rushed forward, his left hand began glowing green as reiatsu charged within it. He was preparing something for Andrea! Andrea could easily get out of the attack he had just set up. This he knew for sure. So, he had to do some things to make sure his attacks weren't wasted. With that cero charging on his palm and his continued charge towards Andrea, it could be assumed that he was aiming for a point blank attack if Andrea stopped and caught his incoming blades. It was a probable defense since he could simply pull Gen in by doing that. Then again, he could just sonido to the side, but Gen knew all of these things. He had plans.
