"Yessir, Reti-Sensei sir"
Taien said, smiling. Then he had a question come to mind, a few questions actually.
"Reti-Sensei, I have some questions. First, how many people like myself have there been since you've been teaching?"
Taien was refering to the fact that he had an abnormally, even astonishingly, strong Reitsu, but without the ability to make a Zanpakuto, as well as a mastery over Kido that only other people such as him could achieve.
"Second, what happened to the Kido Corps here? I know we had one at some point, but what happened to them? Third would be what was that Kido you used to knock everyone down with earlier? Fourth and finally, is there a way to delay a Kido from going off so that it fires later instead of instantly?"
After asking these questions, and getting the answers, Taien went about the task of maintaining his small dot, as well as gradually increasing its power. He found it rather easy to make it now, having done it now once, he had memorized how to do it again, and did it fairly fast. Starting out, he kept it at its normal level for a while, gleaning how to make it more powerfull while keeping it at its current size. Gradually he figured out how to improve it the longer he held it, so ever slightly, it began to brighten. He realized that it wasn't the Reitsu quantity that was producing the shine, it was the quality of it. The stronger the Reitsu in the dot, the more it shined. The trick was to keep it in a dot while adding more power to it. Taien did so in small quantities at first, getting a feel for it. Of course, he also had to balance off the constant flow of Reitsu which maintained the sphere. While it had been a dull and dim light in the beginning, now it was starting to shine with a brighter light. He probably couldn't get as good as Reti-Sensei in one sitting, but he could get much better at making the sphere and improving it.
