This is a power test for some ideas im trying out. Jazz is helping me test said ideas. The setting is a large open green plain, with a crystal blue lake, numerous boulders, a clear sky, and a pleasent breeze.

A man was walking among the beautiful grasslands, hopping up on a boulder every once in a while to get an idea of where he was going. There was a constant smile on his face, as if he was happy with everything. This man was clearly a Shinigami by the attire he had on, but he did not have a sword at his side. This was unusual because most Shinigami had a Zanpakuto, and they never left it anywhere exept by their sides. He had sky blue hair, and his eyes looked like slits kind of. He didn't seem to be big or muscular or anything, but there was a massive power about him.
"Ahh today is beautiful! I just have to wait for my opponent to get here, but I don't mind waiting with scenery such as this!"
The man exclaimed joyously, laying down on a rock and looking up at the sky. Who was this man exactly, and who was he waiting for?
That's all for the template. There are a LOT of stats, but don't get choosy and just give some to all. The result could be quite negative.
This guy is a Technique Master. That means he has no sort of release whatsoever, what he does have is an amazing control of Kido and his own Reitsu, the ability to chant very fast, and explosive destructive power, and three times to Reitsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure.. He can also know up to 40 techniques, instead of the normal 20.

Such a beautiful day it was. A clear blue sky and a pleasant breeze. This was the best day to relax. Too bad that the weather forecast would soon change, for it was predicted that there would be rain. Raining of shinigami blood that is. The opponent was a man who was cruel, and vicious when it came to fighting. He would stop at nothing to destroy his enemies, and if he found them weak, he would toy with them. This made it so that their death was all the more cruel. This man was full of nothing but hate for his opponent, whose ancestors slaughtered most of his race. A feud that has lasted for almost centuries. This man was here to wreak havoc on his opponent and gain revenge for what transpired during those awful times. He had lived through that horrible period, and now, he was about to give his opponent a taste of what living during that genocide was like.
A sudden gust of wind was the signal. The signal that he had arrived. He was seen hovering in the air, just staring down at his opponent. Like a falcon looking down on its prey. As he began to descend, he came into view, and he became more visible to his opponent. One thing that was extremely odd about the man that was making a sudden appearance here was that he was wrapped from head to toe in brown bandages underneath his clothes. Some kind of writing seemed to cover the entirety of the bandages as well. All that could be seen was the black spiky hair that jutted out of the back. The bandages covered the face completely, except for around the eyes where they were split open to reveal complete blackness. His clothes consisted of a hooded dark blue shirt with no sleeves, showing the bandages with black symbols written on them covering his whole arm down to his fingers, which were covered by a black glove on both hands. On his lower half were baggy dark blue pants that were tucked into the bandages that wrapped his body, just below his knees, with a blue sash that was tied around the waist to hold the pants up, while the man's feet were covered up by black boots that reached up to where the pants ended. Then, over all of that, the man wore a long, black trench coat that went down to his knees with an upraised collar that hid the sides of his bandaged face.
This man, his appearance was truly intimidating. One would wonder for what measures he was going to cover himself up so much for. To make matters worse, as he descended, only to hover above a boulder about 15 feet from his opponent, he simply stared. An empty stare that seemed to pierce into his opponent's soul. "I am...Hayato Kimimura. You will be a Shinigami no longer when this is over..." the man spoke in an icy cold tone just as another gust of wind moved through the area. It seemed he meant business. This man, Hayato Kimimura, wasn't going to play around. If he found his opponent to be weak, then maybe he would toy, but for the moment, he was in this one for the kill.
Hayato's Remaining Reiatsu: 4600 (-400 for Doll summon)
He can't use his legs. As a result, he must rely on one of his dolls to transport him everywhere. Bount can have their doll in constant release, and this is what this guy does with this doll. He has it move him via the wind, which his doll manipulates and controls. His doll can change wind temperature in terms of cool or warm wind currents and can shoot bursts of wind. He can do much more, but that'll be revealed as it goes. His other two dolls will also be revealed later.

OOC: Shoot, forgot to put the last power in, can I add it in?
The man simply smilled as his opponent appeared. So it was a Bount who had called him out! That was unexpected, but not uncommon.
"Oya oya, hello Hayato-San, so you are my opponent for today? Excellent! My name is Taien Hadohou, Vice-Captain of the Kido Corps. Its an honor to have you as my opponent today!"
Taien exlaimed in the same cheerful fashion that he had earlier. If Hayato looked into Taien's eyes he would see. . . absolutely nothing but light. This guy had an insane light aura, he had no amount of darkness that most people usually had in their eyes. It was this guy lacked hatred, anger, and all those other negative emotions towards other races. He even seemed glad to see Hayato.
"Oya oya! You have a strong pressence around you Hayato-San! Would you like the first move, or should I have the honor of initiating this duel?"
OOC: Just letting you know for future reference even though it's trivial for this battle. A energy sensory of 150 is needed to tell race.
IC: Hayato didn't smile under the multitude of bandages covering his body. He wasn't here to make friends with his opponent. Taien would be in for a rude awakening. He didn't know the horrible things Hayato was planning to do today. He was going to destroy him! That was putting it simply. Hayato was going to do it in such a way that Taien would feel unimaginable pain when he died. He probably seemed like such a horrible and evil guy, but he was just taking out his anger and frustration on Taien. The frustration of being one of the only Bount alive today, and anger at Taien's ancestors for killing off the Bount like they did after creating them. Hayato wanted to make him feel what Hayato's own ancestors felt while they were tortured by the Shinigami.
"Zieg Diche, Quarz." came Hayato's reply to Taien's question. At first, nothing seemed to happen, and then suddenly, the black writing on Hayato's body began glowing and the writing seemed to move. Unbeknowest to Taien, there was a huge Bount symbol drawn onto the bandages on Hayato's chest, and it was that symbol that glowed the brightest. All of a sudden, the bandages that wrapped Hayato began dissolving, becoming fine grains of what looked like gray sand. With the bandages gone, the skin under them was finally revealed. Hayato's skin was slightly wrinkled and pale. His face, which was no longer covered by bandages was covered by a gray mask with black lines running down from the eye holes. These made it seem as if the mask was crying. In the next second, the gray sand was launching itself towards Taien, moving towards him with incredible speed. (OOC: Stat speed of 400) It was closing in fast, and as it did so, it began to shape itself slightly so that it became sharper while approaching. This was so that it could skewer Taien as it came at him. Meanwhile, Hayato descended more towards the rock, hovering just inches above it. "No matter who makes the first attack, it won't matter because you can't touch me..." he said as he descended. Hayato seemed pretty confident in his abilities. Also, why was it that he didn't land? What was he doing? Surely, these were questions his opponent would probably have. He then folded his arms as he watched his opponent while the rest of the gray looking sand hovered around him. Hayato was a tough one. His opponent probably shouldn't underestimate him. He wasn't going to give him any less than his best, and so Taien should do the same.
Hayato's Remaining Reiatsu: 4200 (-400 for Doll summon)
Quarz is as the name suggests, quartz, which makes up sand. Hayato can control this sand to do whatever he wants. Since he's been living so long, he's pretty much built up a good mastery of his sand doll. He uses his sand doll and wind doll in combos, making it harder to dodge just the sand. He can freely shape the sand and do whatever he wants with it. He can also compact it so that it becomes really hard to break through. He can make it even harder by combining it with his third doll so that it takes it's true form. Right now, the quartz he's using is hard, which means it can slice into a person moving at that speed, but not as hard as it can get.

Even though Taien might not know what was coming, he knew something definately was coming. Partly because of instinct, and partialy because of his energy sensory. He didn't know what was going on, but he felt his opponents Reitsu flare from doing something. Ergo, he decided to counter before whatever bad nastiness was going to hit him. He quickly began chanting in a calm, quiet voice,
"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Soren Sokkatsui."
As soon as it ended, which was pretty fast given that it wasn't that short an incantation, two gigantic blue fireballs raced out of his palms, which were pointed at the sand, and subsiquently Hayato. Now, one quick thing to note about this. The blazing balls of fire were truely huge, like the spell had taken a boatload of steriods. Normal Shinigami could never get it to this kind of power, even with the Incantation added in. Unless the sand had Reitsu in it, the fireballs would probably glass it over or burn it out of existance. Unless it dodged it. Of course, the speed at which the fireballs were moving, their size, and the distance between them made it rather impossible to do, even with a huge stat speed. The last part was that he hadn't said either "Hado" or the number of the move. Was it possible he controlled Kido to such an extent that those didn't matter anymore?
Taien then held out his hand again.
"Hyapporankan"
And a rod of light formed in it. He threw it above the two blazing blue orbs, and it sailed at Hayato, where it broke appart and materialized into two hundred rods of light, raining down on him. Finally, Taien used one Shunpo to get back a fair distance, far enough that Hayato would have to chase him if he wanted to get him back in range.
Remaining Reitsu: 8750/9000 (-250 for Kido and Shunpo)

OOC: I forgot to add in an ability of the quartz as well. Since it's a mineral, it can also absorb the quartz mineral from other things like rocks and stuff.
OOC: His sand was being countered. Just what Hayato was expecting. Though, honestly, he hadn't expected his opponent to pull out such a huge attack to counter. Hayato didn't know which of the many kido Taien had used, but he knew this one seemed really strong. Oh well. He could block it anyway. He had an ultimate defense in the form of his sand doll. He watched as the sand that had shot forward towards Taien was turned to glass by the massive fireballs that had been used to counter. The glass then cracked and shattered under pressure, falling down to the ground below. Oh well. Hayato wouldn't waste time worrying about that. He was going to move on and focus on protecting himself from the next attack which he sensed his opponent building up. He had incredible energy sensory, twice what was considered to be really good. He could sense Taien preparing the next kido before he even said the words.
Hayato didn't even move. The sand that had remained around him lifted up, moving at that same fast speed as before. Some lifted up to shield him while more of it intercepted the rod before it could even reach Hayato and before it could even split apart. Hayato had sensed it being built up and had already prepared his counter. The sand compacted and hardened, shifting into a blade like shape that cut right through the rod, slicing it down the middle. The rod was no more as a result of that. Hayato had the higher reiatsu strength in this, and so his sand was able to do that. Having already expected an attack, he was able to disarm it before it could have proved to be a serious threat. Now, it was time to take care of his opponent. Hayato sensed more reiatsu building up in him. It was an amount just right for a step technique. Over the years, Hayato had fought numerous Shinigami, exacting revenge on each of them. Each one he had fought used shunpo on him, and as a result, he became accustomed to knowing the amount of reiatsu buildup that was just right for Shinigami when they used shunpo. It didn't matter if his opponent used shunpo to move away. Hayato would follow to the end's of the earth. Plus, that showed that his opponent was now on the defensive. Hayato should probably toy and let Taien attack so that he could see just how futile his attacks would be against Hayato's ultimate defense.
Hayato lifted a hand, stretching it out towards Taien's direction. The sand that had cut through the rod moved forwards once more, stretching out towards Taien as it's shape shifted. This time, it became a hand that slammed down onto Taien, attempting to smother him underneath it. All of the compressed sand coming down on him like that would take him out if he didn't do something. Hayato was counting on that though, and that was why, as the first sand wall fell, he had more of his sand rise up and form into a mold of himself. From Taien's distance, he probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. His senses were only slightly above average. He would probably just see an outline and assume Hayato was still there, but no, he wasn't just going to stay there. He hovered closer to the boulders now, moving away to keep himself hidden among them while he watched his opponent's attempt to counter the large hand of gray sand.

One thing Hayato seemed to not notice for some reason. That thing happened to be the two gigantic balls of fire blasting at him. He had gotten rid of the rod, only to be nailed by the blasts because of how fast they were going and their size. True he had his sand as that defense for him, but even that wouldn't be able to completely block out the heat and the shockwaves from the twin massive detonations at point blank range like that. Taien knew that alone wouldn't end the duel, even so, most people would be obliterated on the spot by that blast. Of course, his opponent wasn't one of those people. This became apparent in the form of the gigantic wall of sand rising up to crush him.
Not wanting to be crushed to death, Taien decided it would be best to dodge the attack. He did this in the form of the speciallized Shunpo known as Utsusemi, which caused an after image that looked exactly like Taien to appear and take the attack for him. Normally Hayato would sense immediately that Taien was gone, and that the attack did not hit him. However, Taien was so skilled with manipulating his Reitsu that he managed to give the after image his own Reitsu signature via imparting the image with Reitsu. On top of that, he killed his own Reitsu as soon as he did so, effectively hiding it from detection. At least for a while anyways. Hayato had an insane energy sensory, and even hiding as Taien was, he couldn't hide forever, eventually he would be found.

Hayato had in fact noticed both fireballs and had acted accordingly. The first fireball had intercepted the large volume of sand that had shaped itself into a spear like form. This sand had moved rather quickly, and so it had reached Taien near the same time he was just shooting out his Soukatsui. That meant the explosion as the two collided would be farther away from Hayato, maybe even near Taien. Those shockwaves would hit him rather than Hayato since they were farther away. The second fireball had met resistance in the form of the wall of sand Hayato had lifted to shield him, which would also block the shockwave if it did reach him. That sand had lifted to protect Hayato at the same time as another part of the sand had rushed out to intercept the rod. So, with all of Taien's attacks intercepted and defeated, Hayato remained free from injuries. As for the shockwaves and explosions Taien spoke of, those would be completely blocked out by the compacted shield of sand in front of Hayato. He wasn't an idiot. Against a large fireball attack like that, he wasn't going to just raise any type of sand to shield himself. He would make sure that sand was compacted to it's hardest form first. With his reiatsu strength also being higher in this situation, it would prevent the ensuing explosion and shockwaves from breaking through the compact sand shield. It was almost like a steel wall was standing before Hayato, blocking him from all of Taien's attacks. That was why he called it his absolute defense and it seemed Taien was doing a poor job of getting through it.
Now, about Taien's attempt to hide. That wasn't going to work out as well as he had planned it to. First of all, with an energy sensory stat of 300, Hayato could sense the use of the shunpo. He felt the flare in reiatsu to create the Utsusemi clone and the addition of reiatsu to it. He could sense the small reiatsu that the clone was putting out and he raised an eyebrow. Taien's reiatsu was much greater than that. With more prodding, Hayato was able to pick out Taien's reiatsu. This was because reiatsu could never be killed off completely. It could be masked down to it's lowest level, but never masked completely. Hayato, as an excellent energy sensor was able to sense Taien's reiatsu even during that low masked state. That was just how good his energy sensory was. Being able to sense Taien's reiatsu, he decided to attack him. He grew upset that Taien was trying to hide from him. First he had used shunpo to gain distance, and now he was "trying", emphasis on "trying" to hide by masking his reiatsu. This was a fight! Not hide and seek! Hayato was going to attack Taien while he thought his attempt to hide had worked.
Hayato remained in his hiding spot, keeping his reiatsu masked while he kept that sand clone up. Hayato had incredible energy sensory, while Taien's energy sensory on the other hand was only slightly above average. This meant that he wouldn't be able to sense Hayato's masked reiatsu. He would only sense the reiatsu in the sand clone, which since it was Hayato's doll, would have the same reiatsu as he did. Therefore, Hayato could continue with his plan. He had the large hand of sand split up so that it could move faster. It began shifting and spiraling so that the split halves became drills that all rushed towards Taien's position. So now, he had four drills of sand heading towards him. If he didn't do something, he was going to be looking closer to a hollow except with three more holes rather than the normal one that hollow have on their body.

OOC: Sorry, only 3 min left, not enough time for a full post.
IC: Ahh well, hiding failed miserably for Taien. Of course, right now he had to deal with a gigantic hand of sand that suddenly split into a whole lot of drills. If this was anything like the sand before, it might have the weakness of being burnt. Of course, that hadn't worked out so well either. What about wind though. . . Taien raised his hand at the oncoming wall.
"Tenran"
Taien called out, and a gigantic, cyclone like blast of wind erupted from his hand and slammed into the sand drills with near hurricane force winds.
