All of the beasts assaulting Dimitri and Jin were effectively dispatched by Raito. That was all well and good, allowing them to continue their journey. But, something was wrong now. Powerful bells started to toll in the distance, giving a weary, melancholy sound. Each toll was like a knife to the very soul, slowly tearing through whoever heard it. This emotionless world had just helped everyone, for the bell was situated in a very obvious place. Atop a tall tower, taller than all of the others. The location of the tallest tower had just been discerned.
OOC: Sorry for shortness. I'm in a hurry right now.

Jin was a little relieved when Sturm's attack had destroyed all of the beasts that had come for he and Dimitri, but then more began popping up from the ground. "What?" He couldn't believe this. More were just popping up out of nowhere. What was this place. Why did I come here anyway? Is this a trap? Jin wasn't sure about this Husk person. He couldn't tell whose side he was on. if he was good or evil. Just as he was about to lift his arm and command Sturm to attack once more, someone above him shouted out something. He looked up, and saw the black uniform, instantly recognizing it as that of a Shinigami, but then the white hakama separated this Shinigami from just an average Shinigami like the one next to him. This one was a Captain, which meant he was stronger, and Jin could feel his strength in the reiatsu he put out.
Jin continued to watch this man, when suddenly, a fountain of red liquid sprinkled down on them. Jin wasn't sure if this man was attacking both the beasts around them and him himself, and so he had Sturm form a dome of water over his body. The dome held up against the falling red liquid. Jin noticed that in places where the liquid hit the water, steam rose. What is that? Is it blood? If so, then why does it have acidic properties? Jin looked at the ground around him and noticed that the liquid was eating that away as well, and then when he looked up, he saw the Captain hacking and slashing away at the beasts. Steam was coming off of them as well where the red liquid touched them. Soon, their bodies dissolved into nothing as they were sliced apart.
Jin then watched as the Captain appeared in front of the Shinigami who had appeared out of thin air before. The water covering him as a dome simply disappeared, having been burned away by all of the liquid falling. Luckily, the red liquid falling had stopped just in time. "Shinigami..." Jin began, stepping forward towards Raito and Dimitri. "I have no intention of working with the likes of you. I'd rather die first. Your kind mercilessly slaughtered my race. I will never forgive that." Sturm suddenly disappeared from where he was with a powerful boom, and appeared in front of Jin, his arms aimed forward. "The master is upset with you, and I do not like to see him so. Therefore, I must get rid of you." Sturm's deep voice echoed. Within his palms, sparks of lightning began forming. He then pushed his hands together, forming a spinning circular disk in front of his body. It glowed a bright yellow as it continued spinning, sparking profusely. He was preparing something big to take out both Raito and Dimitri at the same time.
Just as the attack was building, the bells began to toll. The powerful, melancholy sound of the bells was enough to disrupt Sturm's focus enough to cancel the attack he began building. He winced slightly, as did Jin. Jin quickly lifted his hands to his ears and covered them. This sound. It hurts not only my ears, but also my very soul. What is it? Jin turned around, while still covering his ears to face the direction of the sound and found that it was coming from the tallest tower within this world. The sound was just so powerful. He fell to his knees while still holding his ears. He gritted his teeth to numb the pain, but it was to no avail.

A large white portal opened up nearby everyone and a figure leapt out of it, landing on the ground with both his feet. This was Zieg Revolver, vice captain of the eleventh division. He was wearing a black-sleeved yellow shirt with an adjustable hood at the back with pirate skull and cross bones out on the front of it. Bellow it, he had stitched the emblem of the 11th division. He had various tribal-style tattoos across his body, mainly his arms, legs and chest. He was also wearing a pair of small golden earrings on both ears, two on each ear right beside eachother on the lower lube. He is also wearing a pair of jeans with odd markings on both the knee and ankle areas. He has faint shadows right under both eyes and his mouth is constantly seen in a smile but not a exaggerated one, simply a unusual one. He also appears to have dark black hair, a majority of which is obscured by the northern-style hat that he is wearing. On his left hand, he has the word "CHAOS" tattooed on his knuckles. Each letter of the word is on a separate knuckle, spelling out the word Chaos and is in all caps. On his right hand the word "PEACE" is also tattooed on his knuckles in the same fashion as his left hand.. Right below his wrists is a large schematized virus also tattooed. However, the center of it resembles a grin.
Zieg gripped the handle of his zanpakuto, which is strapped and sheathed at his hip as he waited, his unusual smile on his face as looked at the faces around him. He had only been contacted by this "Husk" one time and ever since then, it has been nagging him on who this could be. Zieg knew that whoever this was, he wasn't human, then word reached him of Dimitri vanishing and Captain Raito's departing. He knew the two must be linked together and he had traced Raito's spiritual energy an opened a portal to it. He found it odd though, seeing both a bount and an espada here among two fellow shinigami. He looked around, seeing that a battle had just took and he had just barley missed it. He had arrived as soon as the bells were ringing. He cringed at the sound and felt it reach his very soul. "We all have come for the same thing, haven't we?" Zieg questioned at a loud murmur, mainly to himself but loud enough for everyone to hear. "Husk, can you hear me and this sound? If so, do you have knowledge of it?" Zieg thought inside his head, hoping to come in contact with Husk. If not, he would guess the bell was disrupting communications.

"Never underestimate your opponent; no matter how weak they way seem."
Husk's presence was plainly felt, but he did not respond. Husk was biding his time, waiting. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, he took total control of each and every one of his spikes. They had been loitering around and wasting time. He had been gathering his power up for this. All of their legs moved against their own wills. He kept them at their normal limit, however, making sure not to injure them like he would if he was aiding them in a battle. All of them converged on the tower with the bell. Reiatsu lined their feet, and Husk had them actually run up the wall, straight towards the bell. It took several minutes to do all of this, and a large blast of energy erupted out of Faust while he was on his way, since he was stuck in a swarm of enemies. This would drain him more severely than everyone else would be drained by the end of this, but at least he was alive. Then, as everyone got there, a large blast of energy formed on Raito's fist, Husk generating it there. It smashed down into the floor beneath the bell, making a large hole. The blast continued even after that, only stopping after making a hole in 13 floors. Husk proceeded to have everyone jump through the holes. He used reiatsu to forge parachutes after a bit, so that they would land softly and without injury. The reiatsu soon faded, and everyone was brought to the ground, in the middle of the large library. Several tomes had already been laid out for them to do some research.

Dimitri was surprised to see the enemies, Then suddenly releived to see Raito come and wipe out the whole lot of them. Dimitri looked over to Jin, Intending to speak to him, When suddenly, he moved without him doing so himself. What is this He thought to himself as he continued to run, Without controll of himself doing so. He suddenly was running up the wall of the bell tower, The horrible sound making him cringe, Everytime the bell sounded. Suddenly they where at the top a hole being bursted into the floor down 13th floors by Raito. It seemed as the whole group was forced here, And where all forced to jump through the holes, Landing in a massive libary. Dimitri looked around glad to have controll back, He began to wonder if Husk had anything to do with this. Husk, Can you hear me, If so can you give me any answers on what exactly it is you want me to do? He was hoping for a response in the mean time he turned his attention to Jin, He wished to try to get at least on an understanding with him, Seeing as how they where all now connected as "Spikes".
"Look, Jin..I know we have had many mis-understandings in the past, But i want to try to work past them." He took a glance around turning his eyes back to meet those of Jin's "I know you do not like Shinigami beacuse of what they have done to your kind, But i was not part of that, I was not a Shinigami when that happened, Why hold me Accountable, When we have all been brought here for a reason? He reached out a firm hand towards Jin, Hoping maybe there would be an agreement for the time being. "Let us not make things worse from the past, Lets try to mend what has happened. Dimitri was never a good person at this kind of stuff, He was nearly sure this would amount to nothing most likely, but it was worth a try.
Husk replied in Dimitri's mind. I want you to read these books. I want you to find passages mentioning my name. I want you to discover some of my story. This is a key requirement for my spikes. His words were chilling. What purpose could he have entailed for these spikes? It was blood curling, really. Something that couldn't possibly be good. So, everyone had to start researching, reading. They were to research at Husk's whim, until they found out more about him. But how would their knowing about him help him? Veiled in shadows, Husk could consciously force them to his whims. But when revealed, Husk had to be crafty. Unless, the texts were misleading. In this event, Husk would be very, very crafty for doing this. Hopefully, they were accurate.
Husk's progress: (This is unrelated to any of you)
Husk is getting stronger, and he knows it. Husk has been feeding for a very long time. Even now, he is already out of the bottom floor of the dungeon, He is slowly climbing his way towards the exit. He has used his Reiatsu to cloak himself, making himself invisible. Husk has been healing because of his source. The two sources have had more Reiatsu than Husk imagined. He will still need his spikes to fully carry out his plan, but by the time he has assembled it, he will already be halfway there. As a result, it will be all that much easier. Husk has healed greatly. His body, once blackened and burnt, is now pink. He crawls forth on the steps, inching up with invisibility. Though he has healed, and his legs are back, his new skin and limbs are incredibly sensitive and fragile, too much so to be used for now. A few more days, and Husk will be able to move with them. A few more weeks, and his organs will be healed as well. He has made the changes permanent, so that even if his source were to be cut off, Husk would be fine. He is strong, and has been struggling for many years. But now, now he is ready. He still struggles on using his senses, for his eyes are still broken, damaged, but he is self assured, powerful. He will revive.

Faust was in a pinch, that must is for sure. He could clearly see a lot of opponent now, and by the looks of it, they were extremely upgraded. Perhaps on a 5 on 1 fight, he will win, but against more than three dozen, that was a chance not favoring him at all. To make matters worse, he's sealed off from escaping. Clearly, him reaching the library was not going to be easy, and someone was clearly intent on making his life harder by the minute. He drew out his nodachi and his blunt edged katana, ready for an all out brawl.
This is impossible. How the hell am I going to push back these many opponent? I doubt even in my resurreccion I could take them all down. They'd overwhelm me first. Annoying. I should've stayed in Hueco Mundo. Now what?
Faust's mind was buzzing with thoughts. It was a bad situation, and there was nothing he could do, at least not by himself.

Raito looked behind him to see one of his strong seated officers behind him and what it looked like was a Bount. All the blood around them started to slowly make movement back to the blade it came from. Raito watched the reaction by the Bount, it seemed it was angered by his presence. The male could only smirk, remembering the last time he fought a Bount. He was weaker that time, but so was the Bount. The bount had little abilities and it seemed this Bount had control of his Doll unlike the previous ones. Raito didn't mind a fight, hell he looked forward to surprise battles like these. The Captain smirked adjusting his blade as he prepared himself for the lightning disk. His clawed hands tapped the hilt of his sword softly as he waited for the attack. It was then the captain heard and saw something. He heard the panging of bells, it hurt his ears and felt like he wanted to rip the insides of his ears out. The second thing was he saw the Bount stop attacking.
It was then the Captain felt somethin gcome over him. He was running quickly now, he ran through the forest and up the bell tower. The ringing hurt him as he kept running up the bell tower's wall. It seemed everyone had something come over him... it was familiar Husk. There was also something within him that was almost screaming in agony as if it hated something. It didn't like this presence that had taken over his body and something inside of him was thrashing. Then suddenly a burst of reiatsu appeared in his hand and made a hole through the top of the bell. It was like a movie he was watching of himself, as he jumped through the hole. He landed softly, unlike what he thought, and looked around. They were at a library.... why would they be at a library? It had to be some kind of trap, or whoever brought them all here wanted them to find their purpose. Maybe their purpose or objective lied in the tomes and books laid out on the tables neatly. Raito looked around though, not hundred percent sure what to do. And he felt he couldn't trust the Bount or Arrancar. Raito did not want to change his focus to reading, so he decided to work with his seated officer and the other Shinigami. "Dimitri, this place... we're supposed to find out about the mysterious voice who calls himself Husk?" Raito asked him. The Captain sheathed his sword that was still in his hand.

Zieg looked around, examining the library. It seemed that this "Husk" wanted them to know who he is through the several tomes infront of them all. Zieg suddenly got a thought into this head and approached the middle tome slowly. "These tomes, and this person, Husk. I know we must of all felt his power so he must be unusual or extraordinary. if we uncover his history, perhaps we all can locate him or we can learn of his current status. At least, i think that is what he wants." Zieg said aloud to the others, reaching the tome. Zieg opened it up and began reading through each page, scanning them quickly for any mention of "Husk" or of an unusual event in spiritual history that could possibly be listed with Husk. Zieg knew there must be some kind of history of Husk in the tomes and by the name of Shinigami, he was going to uncover it.
