Just cleaning up the worst of my bount techs from back when I first joined.

Description: [Kavallerie is the most advanced form of Schere Hände; by melting down a Doll, the Bount can alloy it with their blood to forge a vastly superior weapon. The form of this weapon is innate to the Bount and not the doll, although its design will always be visibly based on that of the particular doll consumed to fuel the technique. A Bount who forms a rapier with one doll will always form a rapier from any other dolls they possess, while another Bount who forms a lance will do so regardless of which of their own dolls is the one to be forged.
Upon activation, blood bursts from the Bount's tongue, wrists, and ankles, which forms into a set of crimson fangs over their canine teeth, wicked talons on each hand and each foot, as well as flowing "veins" of crimson running across their body and clothing. While this dramatic transformation persists for the duration of the technique, it is merely part of the activation ritual for Kavallerie.
The user must use these fangs and claws to tear apart the sealed form of one of their own Dolls, which then melts away. Once the doll has been sacrificed, additional blood emerges from the Bount's body, merging with the liquefied doll before taking the form of a melee weapon, which is bound to the user's body by chains of liquid blood.
For the full, five-post duration of the transformation, the Bount not only has a powerful weapon based on the consumed Doll's highest offensive stat but may also wield that Doll's overall ability and release techniques as if they were their own, although at increased cost. This ability to wield a Doll's power personally is by far the leading temptation that drives many bount to learn Kavallerie.]
How to Use: [The user grows claws and fangs of blood before melting and consuming one of their dolls.]
Drawbacks: [Firstly, this technique cannot be learned unless one has already mastered Schere Hände, as they require the experience in forming a weapon of blood. Secondly, the Bount's must select their innate weapon upon learning this technique, which must be a single type of melee weapon; they may only change their innate weapon by spending 160 TTP to align their resonance of their blood with a new weapon.
The greatest drawback to Kavallerie is that the user must sacrifice one of their sealed Dolls to use it, though the user does not suffer a reiatsu penalty for the sealed Doll's death, nor does a Bount who possesses only a single doll die from committing such a sacrifice. The act of killing and (metaphorically) eating their own Doll causes the Bount a great deal of spiritual pain during activation. In addition, the Doll used for this technique does not return to sealed form after the duration but rather vanishes entirely and cannot be revived or summoned for the remainder of that thread. The Bount will later regurgitate the sealed form of the restored Doll between threads.
For the five-post duration of the transformation, the user must constantly suppress the consumed Doll's personality, lest it consume them from within. For each point in an appropriate skill such as Calm Mind or Strength of Will, they can suppress the mental influence of their absorbed doll for a single post, requiring a total of 5 points across multiple skills to retain total control of their own mind. Without sufficient points, the Bount becomes more and more like the consumed doll, potentially allowing it to run rampant in their body.
All reiatsu costs associated with the consumed Doll's release are multiplied by x150% when used by the Bount; thus, a technique that costs 100 reiatsu for the doll to use will cost 150 reiatsu for the user of Kavallerie.
Use of this technique ignites a severe craving for the taste of blood, which lingers for the remainder of the thread after use.
This technique is profoundly traumatic to all Dolls, regardless of their normal personality or temperament; thus, a Bount who uses it risks damaging their relationship with their Dolls, which may lead to any amount of conflict as a result.]

Okay, there's a lot of small changes here, so I'm going to summarize them here and explain my reasoning for them.
As I became more familiar with the mechanics of this forum, I felt that the costs outweighed the benefits, to that end, I have done the following.
● Cut the reiatsu cost from 1000 to 400. Given that this technique already locks the Bount out of using one of their Dolls for the remainder of the thread, as well as increasing the prices for the transferred release techniques, the increased reiatsu cost for its class seemed excessive.
● Increased the duration to five posts, or half-shikai duration. Given the weight of losing a doll, this also seemed justified.
● Changed the OS of the created weapon from unspecified to "Doll's highest," if staff finds this unacceptable, I would suggest "Bount's spiritual pressure."
● Added new drawback, requiring mastery of Schere Hände before it can be learned. As a more advanced form, it made sense to require it.
● Mental drawbacks can now be suppressed with skills.I hadn't considered skills were allowed to lessen drawbacks way back when.
● Reduced increased technique cost from 200% to 150%, again the price of losing a doll feels like more than enough.
●Lastly, I removed the drawback of losing one doll for a year-and-a day, which while dramatic, is a poor fit for this site. At the time, I thought in-character time was required to move in step with IRL time. I've cut this down to a note that it's traumatic for the Doll, and left the resulting conflict to individual role play.
