Description: The healers of the wounded. These guys go out to the front lines and have the strenuous job of healing half-dead people. Most Squad Four members are of this Type.
Advantage:
Ranks 1 and 2: Triple Healing Expertise (100 would be 300) and 50% increase to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 150) to help with healing.
Rank 3: Quadruple Healing Expertise (100 would be 400) and 50% increase to Senses and Instinct (100 would be 150) to help with healing.
Rank 4: 400% increase to Healing Expertise (100 would be 500) and double Senses and Instinct (100 would be 200) to help with healing.
Disadvantage: Drawback for All Ranks: They are terrible at combat and have halved Physical Stats (100 would be 50). They are not allowed to have a combat-type Release. Only a healing-based Release is allowed. However, their healing Release can have ONE offensive property or technique. "Offensive" means "Combat Capable," which includes techniques that could be described as "defensive". The entire Release needs to be based around healing, with one allowed exception to that. Medics are not fighters, nor are they defenders.
Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Hollows.
Initial Weapons: One Starting Weapon (i.e. one Zanpakutō, one Doll, etc.)

-Basic Information-
Name: Chuka
Age of Death: 6
Real Age/Age of Appearance: Uknown due to Anthropomorphic body of a jellyfish
Birthday (Month/Day): Uknown due to awakening from an animal. Possibly sometime in June.
Blood Type: O-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 4'0"
Physical Description:
Standing at four feet tall, Chuka is a fit anthropomorphic jellyfish androgynous being with hues of blue and purple across their body. Their skin is full of moisture while their head is adorned with a bulbous top that looks physically like a hat but is more akin to hair for them. This bulb on their head droops and moves with gravity pulling on it and sports several small tendrils off of its ridge. There is a symbol on their head covering that acts as a false face, looking like a pair of eyes and fools most unintelligent predators into attacking them instead of their actual eyes hidden beneath this bulb. Chuka actual face is often hidden behind this and is very soft in features and looks almost human with the exception that Chuka does not have teeth. When they smile, they instead show gums that look very soft and gelatinous, separated to look like teeth but still have the same color as their skin. Their hands and feet are webbed between the digits that are their fingers and toes allowing them to be more dexterous in the water.
Chuka also has a slimy sheen to their skin, reflective in the sun when above the water. Their eyes, when uncovered by their head, is emerald colored with purple hues around the edges while having a wild look to them. Like that of a child seeing something of wonder for the very first time. Chuka does have the body shape of a short adult man, with a six pack and toned arms and legs, but they lack clothes. Chuka, being more wild than tame, relies on their membrane to look as if they are wearing a large cloak over their body and they lack sex organs to see beneath anyway. Much like the rest of Chuka's body, the membrane is hued with purples and blues to match their skin.

-Personality-
Dislikes:
Bullies: Chuka cannot stand someone trying to pick on another or acting superior while putting down others. Chuka stands up for the weak and makes a point of uplifting those around them.
Cold: Chuka feels much better in warmer environments and waters.
Dark: Chuka dislikes dark places as although it would seem they do not have eyes, they do in fact enjoy the sights around them.
Vibrations: Chuka hates the feeling of vibrations over their body, the jelly like substance not sitting well with them.
Sharp objects: Chuka dislikes sharp objects as they have found this to be devastating to their body and tentacles.
Likes:
Warmth: Chuka enjoys laying in the sun while floating in the water, the warmth spreading over their body.
Sweets: Chuka enjoys eating sweets and other candies with that sugary taste.
Water: Chuka prefers to swim and thrive in water environments rather than walking on land. If they have to, they will but this is not their preferred environment.
Playful: Chuka prefers playing and friendly environments rather than high stress situations. If given a puzzle or game, Chuka will spend hours figuring it out.
Pranks: Chuka has been known to play tricks or pranks on their friends. When meeting a new person they will also play a prank regarding their lack of gender, choosing to pretend they are the opposite of whatever the new friend has suggested.
Flaws:
Conflict-Shy: Chuka usually refuses to be involved in a conflict, choosing to avoid it at almost any cost. They would rather relax and keep their friends safe from all harm, healing minor cuts caused from a fun time at the watering hole.
Clumsy: Chuka has hands but they also have the ability to manipulate objects with their tentacles on their head. However, they are very clumsy with these tentacles as they do not have much grip strength.
ADHD: Chuka has a hard time focusing on things that do not interest them. They will unfortunately sidetrack very often when it comes to possibly time sensitive issues.
Friendly Fire: Chuka has a habit of forgetting that their tentacles have a distressing effect on allies. They will occasionally accidentally bump an enemy with one of their stinger tendrils and cause them physical harm.
Habits:
Agender Prank: Chuka will, when presented the opportunity, pretend to be the opposite gender of what has been suggested. They are in fact nongendered.
Giggling: Chuka giggles very often in their speech process. They are very light and full of levity rather than a serious tone.
ADHD: Chuka is very wide eyed and curious. If given a puzzle, they may ignore outside stimuli for hours. But when it comes to a serious conversation they become easily distracted.
Tardiness: Chuka is very often late to most events.
Pickpocket: Chuka, through their inquisitiveness, will rifle through others pockets almost absent mindedly.
Daydreaming: Chuka can sit for hours, just relaxing and distancing mentally from the world around them.
Fears:
Fire: Chuka is a very water elemental being and thus is very afraid of fire. Their fear stems from possibly drying out and withering against a flame of a high magnitude.
Claustrophobia: Chuka fears tight and cramped spaces, feeling very claustrophobic. They would rather escape from something rather than have their gelatinous form squished.
Dehydration: Chuka, being a creature of water, is afraid of drying out and dying from lack of water.
Stage fright: Chuka hates being the center of attention and would rather not be noticed. They is not the main character in their own mind and would rather be in the background, not seen or heard in tense moments.
Goals:
Supportive: Chuka wants to feel useful and supportive of their pack. They don’t want to be useless and let others get hurt.
Soul Society: Chuka is curious about Soul Society and although they do not know if they would want to become a Soul Reaper, they do wish to meet them and discuss healing techniques.
Pack Creation: Chuka wants to one day be the Alpha of their own pack. They only want this so as to protect their friends and they feel if they were in charge they could avoid any conflict.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Overall Personality:
Chuka is a bubbly and open mindedly curious individual. They will spend hours upon hours puzzling through their surroundings and anything they deem fun and interesting enough. They also refuse to be involved in conflict and want only warm summer days and soft breezes to accompany them. Chuka is also very playful, providing entertainment to their friends and allies in the form of pranks and tricks that they pull. They can also be very absent minded, curiosity taking over their better nature and may end up going through the belongings of others without thinking about the implications of such actions. Chuka has been known to even keep a few of these items despite their possible emotional connections to the original owner. Chuka is always apologetic in the instances when it is brough to their attention.
When encountering difficult situations that have to do with combat, Chuka finds themselves hiding and running rather than facing the situation. They have been known to squeeze into tight places and go radio silent to the world rather than face a charging opponent. Chuka also regards themselves as a greatly affectionate being and would rather hug it out than fight someone over an issue. If given the opportunity, Chuka would handle these kinds of tense situations with a mug of hot chocolate and a good fire to sit down in front of. Then possibly talking out the issues revolving around what caused the situation to occur in the first place.
When backed into a corner, Chuka becomes a bit feral and tends to lash out with their membrane and tendrils. Their head tendrils are a natural weapon full of stinger nettles that can inflict fiery pain on opponents. However, Chuka does not pursue once an opponent is injured but instead tends to retreat from the conflict once an opening has been made. Chuka has their long claws, but sees them as simple tools to climb and dig with rather than fight. Speaking of digging, this is one of Chuka's favorite activities and becomes enamored with finding peculiar rocks and shells on the beach. Much like that sentence, even in combat, Chuka can become easily detracted and whisk away.
Chuka is the poster child for ADHD in the way that they interact with most people. Though, if interesting, Chuka will maintain most conversations about the world and philosophy. But as soon as the tone turns sharp or aggressive, Chuka will attempt to withdraw. They will spout about random interesting topics such as what they recently saw in the night sky or a new cave they discovered and what was lying inside. If they are pressed further, Chuka may offer a treat or attempt to simply walk away from the conversation. If pressed even further beyond, Chuka becomes silent and stoic, refusing to further participate in the conversation as they do not find it interesting any longer. Most people will see this as just being stubborn, but the truth is that Chuka probably is just thinking of another topic or idea and simply wishes to leave to pursue this thought further.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Chuka refuses to fight if at all ever possible. Chuka prefers to rather attempt to escape from conflict and cut their losses. If backed into a corner or an ally is threatened however, Chuka can decide to go on the offensive. Chuka would prefer to go for holds rather than damaging attacks like kicks and punches, preferring to restrain their target and possibly keep them from harming themselves or others. Chuka is great with arm bars and leg binds. They would rather knock out an opponent with asphyxiation as a last resort and would likely never go for a killing blow unless absolutely necessary. Chuka's life would need to be in actual imminent danger to pass this threshold.
When working in groups, Chuka will likely find themselves on the back line of combat. They would rather stand in the center of the circle providing support for their allies. They may occasionally move to defend an ally but they refuse to actively engage the enemy if it can be done by an ally instead. Chuka employs their healing techniques in these cases and anything they can to possibly draw an ally out of the fight as they abhor most forms of violence. Chuka will even try and convince their allies to possibly run or hide so as to keep them from further physical harm if they see an ally taking damage.
When Chuka goes into release they become a bit more bubbly and full of energy, having transformed and gained more tentacles to grab with and more willing to possibly be involved in combat. However, their goals in a fight will still not have changed as Chuka does not wish harm on anyone. Chuka would overwhelm an opponent with their tentacles, gripping to hold them down and pacify them. They also use their toxin technique, overcharging their usual sting in order to try and paralyze an opponent to keep them from fighting back and continuing hostile maneuvers. Chuka will also prioritize healing themself and allies over continuing to harm anyone around them.
Yaseishin Name: Kina-sut-kamuy
Yaseishin Appearance:
Chuka transforms into a fifteen foot tall and five feet wide massive jellyfish being with thousands of tentacles supporting a massive and bulbous head. The head has a pair of small eyes and a tiny faux mouth that remains a constant smile. Chuka's true mouth in this form is in the center of the mass of tentacles and at the base of their head. Their flesh is gelatinous yet firm, being strong like muscles in order to maintain their weight while moving around. Around the rim of the head are fifty stinger tendrils that look more like kelp in the color of Chuka's blue flesh and hanging limply against their body. This, along with all of Chuka's tentacles, are able to move according to Chuka's will like an arm or hand and have within them microscopic nettles containing Chuka's stringer venom.
Yaseishin Overall Theme: Chuka's release is based on their status as a Medic. They do not want to have conflict and thus will only attack their enemy in order to escape with their venom and try to heal their allies while trying to escape.
Yaseishin Techniques:
Viper Nettle: The Viper Nettle technique is the ability for Chuka to charge their stinger tendrils around their release forms head’s outer rim. These nettles become venomous with a neurotoxin for three posts and, when it comes into physical contact with an opponent the nettles will detach from their tendril and bury deep within the flesh of the target. These nettles are near microscopic in size and near innumerable along the tendrils. When the target is afflicted with this, they will immediately begin to feel the associated pain from the neurotoxin. It can feel as if fire is spreading along the affected area whether it be a limb or the major area such as the chest, back, or head. The area will also become afflicted with a paralytic effect in response to the nerve endings being attacked by the toxin. If the chest or back is the exposed portion, the user will find difficulty with breathing due to the associated paralytic effect. If the head is afflicted the afflicted person will lose control over their eyelids and the ability to swallow. The paralytic effect remains active on the target for a total of two posts before wearing off and will be felt immediately upon first contact with the nettles. Appropriate healing spells and techniques can nullify this affect as well.
Drawback: The technique requires 100 reiatsu to activate and requires physical touch to flesh in order to inflict the neurotoxin. This will not penetrate armor or most clothes with the exception of thin cloth. The opponent may also ignore the pain associated with this ability with a 2 or higher Pain Tolerance.
Amorphous Pod: Chuka takes in an ally, swallowing them into their body and pulling them deep into themself. While inside, Chuka restores their body, healing most minor damage that was inflicted on them within a single post. Severe damage takes three posts to heal and for lost limbs and major organs nine posts of stasis are required to heal. Chuka can still move during this period but their speed is halved during this time as they are taking on additional weight. They can also only take in individuals smaller than their body in release, being twenty-five feet tall and ten feet wide.
Drawbacks: It costs 50 reiatsu to activate and an additional 10 reiatsu for the next post for the duration of the healing they commit. For each post iteration they remain this cost will increase by ten for the next post. I.E. third post costs 20, fourth post costs 30, fifth post costs 40, etc. all the way to the ninth post costing 80 reiatsu. This cost stacks for a total of 410 reiatsu. Chuka suffers a speed cut by 50% while carrying an ally within them.
Splooge: Upon activation, Chuka begins producing a slimey film along their tentacles and head, dripping with this production and onto the ground. The only exception to this is that Chuka’s stinger tentacles do not produce this slime. When this slime touches an individual they will experience loss of pain and can have minor cuts and injuries healed. This slime also, if ingested or injected, can restore stamina loss and increase instinct by 15% due to an adrenaline boost. This cannot exceed the 3x rule of the site. A consumer of this ability can only use this once per post as the adrenaline boost can stack for multiple consumptions.
Drawbacks: It costs 200 reiatsu to activate. It is indiscriminate between friend or foe and an enemy may also benefit from this. The only one who cannot benefit from this technique for use is Chuka themself. Chuka can only produce five consumption amounts before the splooge needs to be replenished by an activation of this technique.

Other Techniques:
Technique Name: Skin Restore
Class: 6, 4
Technique Type: Ferality
Usable By: Beast Clan
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
This simple technique allows the Beast Clan user to restore lost skin. The lesser version of this technique stimulates the existing skin into growing. For Mammals, this causes hair to grow back. It does different things for other Beast Clan depending on their physical make up. Amphibians may regrow their mucus layer, etc. After paying the reiatsu cost, the skin will immediately start to restore the lost product, and will finish doing so after 2 posts. That is the Class 6 use of it.
The Class 4 use of Skin Restore allows wounded skin itself, such as burns and shallow cuts, to be healed. It also takes 2 posts to restore this skin. This technique does not restore anything else more serious than skin, so it will do little more than stop the bleeding in wounds. Tissue and muscle damage will still exist and will not be healed. The Class 6 version does not require attention payed to the technique, but the Class 4 version does require focus if the technique is not mastered.
How to use technique: Focus reiatsu into flesh and stimulate rapid growth of skin
Technique Drawbacks:
Reiatsu cost, time required. Minor effect.

Technique Name: Bandage
Class: 7
Technique Type: General Spiritual Technique
Usable By: Any Race
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Bandage is an extremely basic healing technique, often used more in surgery rather than combat conditions. By releasing a brief pulse of Reiatsu as the user rubs a finger across a small cut or gash, the user encourages the skin to knit together and heal, closing incisions and halting minor bleeding. As a whole, it is not a very powerful technique, as its major purpose is to rapidly deal with a very minor injury or, in the case of surgery, to close an incision made on a patient without the use of stitches.
How to use technique:
The user runs their finger over a small injury and releases a pulse of healing Reiatsu as they go, encouraging the skin to heal together.
Technique Drawbacks:
As one of the more basic techniques, Bandage isn’t very powerful. The most that it can do is close a wound that is no more than six inches in length, and no more than a half inch in width. This means that a basic scratch or cut can be healed, but a wound made with anything but the very tip of a blade is likely to be too thick to cut. Additionally, this is only a skin-level treatment, meant to stop bleeding; it won’t heal internal damage beneath the cut, or remove poisons, though it will prevent further contaminants from entering due to the wound being closed. Finally, each use of this technique will only allow the user to close three such injuries, unless the incantation is used.
Incantation and Effect: “Come together, flesh of man, and be as one again.” The incantation allows the user to improve upon Bandage’s minor healing, allowing it to either close one wound of up to a full inch in width and up to nine inches in length, or else to close six wounds of a normal size.

-History-
Birthplace: The Ocean
Current Residence: N/A
Memorable Figures: N/A
History:
Chuka’s first memory is that of falling through the ocean water after having been attacked by another creature in the water. It was, in fact, a whale that had taken a chunk out of their side. Chuka blinked but suddenly remembered that very shortly ago they did not have eyes or eyelids to blink with. Something had changed during that attack, awoken within them. They knew that they shouldn’t have these thoughts in general but they were now enlightened.
Chuka’s next step was to swim to the surface and they noticed that they now had arms and legs. Their head had retained most of their original form, the bulbous orb having their stinger tentacles floating and drifting around their body. Chuka was deeply concerned about this new body they had as they swam to the surface of the water. They could feel the warmth of the sun as they approached, a smile forming on their new lips.
As Chuka breached the water and took a deep breath of fresh air, they had a strange thought. ‘How did I know how to breathe? Why am I breathing air?’ Chuka looked over their form and began pressing their gelatin fingers into their flesh, seeing the way it molded around and wasn’t very hard. Then, Chuka felt a shift in the water around them. Something was wrong and alarm bells were going off in their head. A deep shadow moved under Chuka’s body, encircling them with swift movements.
Chuka began swimming along the surface quickly and began calling out with squeaks, not knowing much in the form of speaking language. Their voice also did not carry far, their new muscles having only just been formed and were thus too weak to create a loud enough noise. And then Chuka saw something new to them entirely, the shore. They could see sand and rocks on the beachhead as well as the grass and trees beyond it. Chuka swam for it, knowing that it might be their only chance to escape the predator.
As Chuka got closer and closer, they could feel the orca whale closing fast on their trail. The way the orca swam made waves behind them, Chuka becoming more and more terrified of what was coming for them. Chuka could already tell that conflict was not their strong suit and that retreat was their card to play. As they swam they began to cry out, feeling tears on their face for the first time and finding the experience, although unpleasant, very curious. It was a level of consciousness alien to Chuka that they could not fully appreciate at this time.
Upon finally reaching the shallow water, Chuka felt the whale break their pursuit. The whale had decided not to beach itself for the prize of Chuka as sustenance and instead swam off to find other prey. Chuka sat in the shallow water, wiping away their tears and sobbing softly to themself. It was a very confusing time and the intellect of Chuka was akin to that of a child. Their new purple flesh was vibrant against the calm blue water and coarse sand.
Chuka, after sitting their for a good long while, decided it was time to get up and explore the world around them for the first time. They approached the beach with tentative steps, trying to remain in the water for as long as they could. Chuka, when finally touching dry land, jumped back into the water with a skittish nature. It was a peculiar feeling to have dry and coarse sand touch their foot. This was from both having a foot now and also the fact that Chuka had not experienced a dry sensation ever. But eventually they gathered their courage and took the step again.
Chuka buried their foot in the sand after a few moments, experiencing the way the particles moved around their foot. And, with a few giggles, Chuka began to play in the dry sand. At first they attempted make caves like what they experienced in the ocean, but started building small structures like rock formations they were familiar with. Chuka, after a good long while, decided to stand and experience grass beyond the beach. And then after that trees and leaves and dirt. And Chuka even began playing with wet dirt, otherwise known as mud. And then Chuka found something even stranger, an animal... sentient like them.
