Description:
As everyone knows, reptiles are coated in scales rather than the soft flesh and hair of their mammalian counterparts. This technique causes the scales of the Beast-Clansmen to harden into a defense similar to that of an Arrancar’s Hierro. But instead of utilizing Reiatsu Strength, Roughskin instead grants the reptile a skin defense across their body equal to 80% of their Strength (so 400 Strength would give a defense of 320). But what makes this technique different from its counterparts is that it makes the reptile’s skin cause a grating effect if skin-to-skin contact is made. This means that if the reptile slides his or her arm across an opponent, their skin will get shredded. The shredding effect utilizes normal Strength.
Oddly enough, turtle Beast-Clansmen get a full Strength version of this technique that only applies to their shells.

Cost. The technique costs 200 reiatsu to activate and lasts for 4 posts.

Description:
A venom-like technique that is available for all fanged Beast-Clan members (incisors and teeth that can break the skin both count as well) that belong to the reptile family, this technique causes the user to secrete a special liquid from their fangs and teeth. When they bite their victim, this liquid gets into the target's bloodstream and begins to take effect. The first effects, which occur after two of the victim's posts after the bite, is the inability for blood to clot. The injury will bleed heavily and profusely. This bleeding is so bad in fact that unless something is done about it the victim will bleed out after 8 posts. But that’s only the beginning of this nightmare. After two posts the bitten part of the body will begin to go numb from paralysis. It’ll become harder to use the affected limb (cut the afflicted limbs Strength and Speed by 50%). After 4 posts, the limb will be completely paralyzed. If the targets chest or torso is bit instead, the victim will experience complete bodily paralysis after 4 posts while also having increased stamina consumption from trying to breath.
At Mastery, the Beast-Clansmen can apply this technique to their claws and other naturally weapons instead of being locked to biting.
How to Use:
Attack and land the hit.
Drawbacks:
Poison Resistance and Bleeding Tolerance are the key counters to this ability. For every rank in Bleeding Tolerance, push back the bleed out timer by 3 posts. For every rank in Poison Tolerance, push back the activation of the venom by 4 posts (when the bleeding starts) and the paralysis effect by the same amount. This technique costs 150 reiatsu. This poison can be purged from the body for 800 reiatsu, with every 100 in Healing Expertise reducing the cost by 100 reiatsu (so with 200 HE the purge would cost 600 reiatsu).

Description:
A remarkably simple but devastating technique. Upon activation, the Beast-Clan will grow. Instantaneously. A flash of lightning, a ball of fire, or explosion of steam, etc, will occur as the Beast-Clansmen grows to a size as high as their Strength allows. This allows the Beast-Clansman to fight against other titan-sized entities. So, if a BC is 6ft tall and has 750 Strength, activating this technique will make them grow to the size of 40 feet. Now, while Strength rules state that RPC sizes cannot exceed forty feet, this technique allows the Beast-Clansmen to exceed that limit based on their strength once this technique is Mastered. For every 100 Strength after 750, add another 25 feet to the maximum size the Beast-Clansmen can grow (so a BC with 1350 Strength could grow to 190 feet tall)

Drawbacks:
Counts as a long-term stat boost. While this technique is fairly cheap for a Class 2 technique, only costing 250 reiatsu, the technique only lasts for three posts (this increases to 5 on Mastery), and on a typically low reiatsu pool race like Beast-Clansmen that must also deal with their short-term and expensive release makes maintaining this technique troublesome. Secondly, there is an obvious drawback with becoming so big. You become much, much, easier to hit. Now, while the Beast-Clansmen is able to move just as nimbly and fast as they could prior to becoming a kaiju their increased size still makes them a massive target.

Alligators have the honor of naturally having the strongest bite force of any animal at 2,125 psi of force, which translates into the world of the Beast-Clansmen. Another effortless but powerful ability. This technique gives the reptile a bite force equal to 3x their strength for one, single, bite. That’s it. Activating this technique gives the Beast-Clansmen a bite equal to 3x their strength. There is no other gimmick. It’s just a stupidly powerful bite attack.
How to Use:
Bite the opponent.
Drawbacks:
This technique has no reiatsu cost. It counts as one of your short-term stat boosts. However, the trade-off to having a bite this powerful is that the reptile's jaw strength is reduced to 25 strength for 4 posts afterward. This means that even the most squishy of spellcasters can hold even the most ferocious and powerful of a reptile tribesman's mouth shut.

By absorbing water either from a water source or from the very atmosphere itself, aquatic Beast-Clansmen can gather together and condense collected water somewhere within their body. Once it's ready the animal will fire the water from their mouth or some other opening in a straight-line beam attack. The water beam is narrow, no larger than a normal rope, but the destructive comes from the speed of the attack. By condensing the water tightly with all of its strength, the water jet that is fired will travel at a speed of 1000. What’s more, it’ll pack a piercing power equal to the Beast-Clansmens strength. This technique can be used to launch a fast, painful, attack that’ll leave holes in whatever is punctured. Alongside this, once the technique is Mastered the Beast-Clansmen can fire a continued stream of water. This water is fired so fast and with so much force it can cut clean through steel like scissors through paper. No different than an industrial waterjet.
How to Use:
Suck in water and fire.
Drawbacks:
Costs 200 reiatsu. While Learned and Proficient, an ample water source is needed in order to gather the water needed for the attack. At Mastered the Beast-Clansmen can gather the water from the atmosphere but has to wait till the next post to fire the Water Jet.

Description:
Upon learning this technique the Beast-Clansmen undergoes a slight biological alteration. Two sacs are produced in the mouth, behind either cheek, that are key to how this technique works. Upon activation of this technique, unique muscles squeeze the sacs and cause two different chemicals to be sprayed out of the mouth. When these two chemicals mix and come into contact with the air; fire is born. This technique allows the reptilian Beast-Clansmen to breath fire! Like dragons from legends reborn, this gives reptiles the ultimate weapon to use against others. The fire that is produced is similar to napalm, though it is more like nitroglycerin given its two chemicals mixing, meaning that anything hit by this technique will burn. The fire sticks to them, being liquid based, and burns with a temperature of 1,000° C (1,800° F). Anything hit by these flames will experience immediate fourth degree burns and will find the flammable liquid nearly impossible to get off of them. Structures will burn. People will be burned down to their very bones. This technique is destruction incarnate. The flames will continue burning for 3 posts after being sprayed and are considered reiatsu fire. It turns one into a living flamethrower. Because the ignitable chemicals are sprayed using muscles inside the mouth, this technique uses Strength for clashing purposes. These flames fire out into 15ft cone that is 8ft wide.
How to Use:
Spray and pray.
Drawbacks:
This technique costs a whopping 400 reiatsu to use. Expensive for Beast-Clansmen. Secondly, there is a recharge period for the sacs to refill themselves after use. 2 posts must pass before the reptile can make use of this technique again. At Mastered, the technique recharge is negated and the technique can be fired again immediately. There is also another drawback. If the opponent realizes that the flames are being produced by chemical producing sacs in the cheeks, the sacs themselves can be targeted if the enemy is precise enough. Damaging one sac beyond repair will cause the technique to be unusable unless healed.
