The call had come in earlier that night. It had been such a long time since she'd gotten any orders, and this one was much more intense than anything else she'd ever received. Normally, Blair was asked to do fairly standard tasks and gather information on other people to add to the database. Xcution had a fairly extensive system that outlined the abilities of several other spiritual beings and races, which meant she had a ton of studying to do if she ever wanted to get on Shizuka's level. Blair had been recruited by her years ago back when they were both still young. It was so strange to think that the two women were the same age, actually. Blair was much shorter, so she was frequently mistaken as being younger. Such was life, she supposed. But being small made some things pretty easy for her.
For example, it was simple to go unnoticed when she entered an abandoned building where some sort of arms deal was going on. It was easy to conceal herself amongst the shadows as she'd been trained to do and go completely undetected by normal humans like these two men were. It was never a challenge for her to plan accordingly, knowing that her powers wouldn't be needed to take these two out. Blair was hired by a local gang, according to her boss, to remove these two from their dealing system. Apparently, they were buying and selling repurchased goods off an underground black market that was completely disconnected from Xcution's business. By nature, Blair's abilities were actually super loud. Well, with what she knew about them, anyway. She was taught that even Fullbring can evolve once it became stronger and she didn't have enough experience with hers yet.
Perched on top of one of the support beams in the ceiling of the building, the blonde glanced down and smiled to herself as she listened to her victims' conversation. They were actually speaking pretty casually, and Blair eyed a gun that was in one of their pockets. That was standard. Any time she was asked to spy for any reason, Blair had a tendency to try to observe her surroundings as much as possible. That gun might not be able to move faster than she could, but it would still be dangerous. That is, if she didn't get a hold of it. At least they couldn't see her from where she was, and her black hoodie, blue denim shorts, and black leggings underneath made her blend in decently enough. To say she felt like Spider-woman was an understatement. This was something she could totally see any Spider-person doing.
"Boss doesn't need'ta know ya got these, ah'right?" The accent sounded so very 'Brooklyn' that it made Blair laugh quietly to herself. "Now just lemme have the money. I gotta get outta here."
"Yeah, yeah. I got it," said the man with the gun. "Ya don't need'ta tell me twice, y'know."
Blair was laying on her stomach with her chin resting in both of her palms, her feet swinging in the air. She looked just like a child watching a movie and decided it was about time to interfere. Getting herself up, she jumped down from the support beam and landed just behind the gunned man, startling them both. With looks of shock painting their faces, Blair smiled and walked towards the two of them. The one man drew his gun from his pocket and Blair heard its distinctive click that told her it was loaded and ready. Well, the good news for her was that it didn't matter if they were ready to fight. The bad news for them was that they wouldn't be able to land a hit on her. The trigger was pulled quickly, but Blair's reaction time was too fast. Her lips lifted into a smirk as the bullet stopped mere inches away from her face as Soul Command, the innate ability of every Fullbringer, took effect.
"If I were anybody else, you would have gotten me. But, lucky for me, that's not gonna happen."
The bullet dropped on the ground in front of her, the distinct sound of metal ringing out into the open as the sound eerily bounced from wall to wall before dissipating. The heavy breaths from the two men before her were all that could be heard along with another click from the gun. Blair sighed as the trigger was pulled once again, using Soul Command to stop the bullet the same way she had before. Truthfully, she could have even snatched the gun out from the guy's hands, but she chose not to. He'd learn his lesson one way or another, and Blair had no problems being the one to teach it. With a shrug and a few more steps, she closed the distance between herself and the two of them. The height difference was laughable since both men were easily over six feet tall and she wasn't even five feet. Yet, despite this, she still managed to make them take a few staggering steps away from her.
"Normally, I'd say that's a smart move. You don't want to be close to danger, right? But you don't have a choice. That 'Boss' you're talking about hired me to kill you both. He's not stupid, as it turns out." Using Soul Command once again, she tore the gun from the one man's hands and caught it in her own. "I'll do this kinda quick so you don't have to suffer. Sound good?"
But just as Blair was about to pull the trigger, something caught her attention. The other two men redirected their gazes, as well, towards the main door to this warehouse. So it wasn't just the three of them here, after all.{Blair's Stats}
