Thread Title: Making A Ghost Participants: Ruhe Krieger, Ghost Fenyx World: Silbern Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: Located along the barracks training fields of Silbern, there are vast stretches of natural fauna, trees, and streams, targets, and few obstacles inbetween, this particular engagement taking place in an observation ring with high standing walls with towers and multiple rows of seats, similar to a gladitorial combat arena. A functioning aqueduct runs through the area, with a funneled stream running through the center of the battlefield, meant to simulate Seireitei's wilderness and Rukon. Special Conditions: None Circumstances: Various members of the Vandenreich are open to viewing combat performances and drills from time to time. Ruhe and Ghost are put together in opposite rings of the arena to face off against one another in combat assessment until one is either incapable of fighting, or they concede. Though with heavy eyes upon them, how will this end?

Ruhe found herself entering into the opposing end of the arena along this bright and horrid day, dressed in the white and blue uniform that was standard for the Privat. Solemn in expression as she sees the natural layout of what seems to be an elaborate arena. Though in truth, she somewhat dreaded the reason for this meeting. Combat drills. Assessment of ability. When she came in, the small blonde swiftly took assessment of her surroundings, took note of all she could use within her environment, before then gazing to the opposing end. To see her target. The Ghost of the Reich. Though to say she was an opposing target would be a gross overestimation. After all. She was but a child.
Tugging along her white gloves, he would see that she was at this point in time around 3'8", a lithe and agile looking frame, and as she comes forth, she holds her right arm outwards, a small silver cross hanging from a chain along her wrist. A similar matching pendant around her neck as her fragment. Taking the liberty to close her eyes, she prays momentarily, and keeps in mind that there are many before them. Those that sought perhaps entertainment, as well as answers. Though what she knew most of all was the measure of competency. Normally, Ruhe would obscure herself and hide along the shadow. Remain small and low, out of the picture. However, now that wasn't an option.
Today was the time to show all she could do, or otherwise face consequences. She could not reserve or hold herself this day. Awaiting her foe, she assesses him, taking the measure of distance between them, build, height, stature, small premeditated movements and habits that may prove to give her some inkling of advantage. For she was a huntress in more ways than one. She treated this battle much like every one she'd had. As if it could be her last. For in the life she lived, it very well could be. Based on Ruhe's current appearance, she might have looked little more than a child, a very young one at that. She seemed to hold no satisfaction, nor excitement, nor boisterous mannerism. Instead?
It was a sunny Day and the birds were such a beauty to see. Clouds were in the bright blue skies but they was the white ones the friendly looking ones. It was terriblely hot out and each time the wind blew it was like a paradise feeling. Ghost was sitting in a forrest and by forrest I meant an actual one. Alas he was in the middle of a open bank wit. The field was fifty meters even all around and had quite the room to move. But Ghost was close to the forrest and nothing seem to make him quite happy. He had all the time to move to the center but he prefer being on the edge of things.
He was sitting on a small table set for two with one side covered with sweets and the other side being blank as a table can get. Today was Ghost off day and he was going to enjoy it. However he was called into action today. For some odd reason he was called in today to showcase his powess. Surely they did not mean his ability to kill anybody he wanted Alas under the right conditions. With each minute going by he took a sip of his delicious cup of team. He has been doing this for about two hours now and he is on his last bach of tea to drink.
Soon he would see someone walking from the distance and did his eyes play tricks on him or was it his mind? Either way he saw a child walking towards him and this put a odd look on his face. Ghost would sit his tea cup down and take a napkin to wipe his mouth off. As he did that the little girl would speak to him. "Good luck in the battle to come?" He would repeat what she said to him and it even sounded just as strange as when he said it. Soon he would look at her eye to eye and then would say in a calm and relaxing voice. "Oh dear what do we have here, well then if we our to do combat then I am afraid I cannot go all out on you young lady."
The moment he said that he would stand up as he stood six feet tall and towered over her. He would be wearing a business suit Alas it was in the style of the Quincy uniform as Ghost clearly made it to fit his style. As he fixed his uni eye glass he would take a better look at her and then would say to her." However if I do not use it then it would be utterly disrespectful to you and a complete insult as well. Thus I will use it if the need calls for it just to show my utmost respect to my opponent." He would stop and pause for a moment before walking over to her only being two meters away. As he took a bow he would then say to her as he raised his head back up "I am terribly sorry I haven't given you my name and that name is Ghost Fenyx pleasure to me you Little Lady." As he said that he would await her and her next move.

Ruhe was young, yes, but she wasn't sure if that inherently meant she wasn't capable. Her experiences and horrors had left her scarred as even some veterans perhaps, especially considering her main area of training was with a woman named Amalia. Amalia Volbrecht. Or Paiva as she was more commonly known. Taking the liberty to gaze Ghost over, and his introduction, him going so far as to call her, little lady? She opens her eyes a margin, and nods her head politely in return. "Private Ruhiger Krieger. Thank you for your courtesy sir." She announces, and with it, she found his seeming call of respect to be an interesting thought. Perhaps a rare moment of camaraderie.
He proclaimed he'd go easy on her. Perhaps because she was a child. Perhaps because she was a girl. Perhaps a mix of the two things. She wasn't sure what to make of it, considering the short distance between them, and she'd grant him respect where honor was due, before she would step farther back on the opposing end of the arena, and presumable Ghost would go to his, the bank inbetween them as she holds her left hand outwards. Her spiritual bow forming within her grasp, the blue and blocky bow that she'd always found garish and somewhat ugly in its spiritual form. A bad habit she'd tended to have in its creation. Before it thins and slowly elongates to look like a proper longbow.
Ruhe would let Ghost have the first move, as her eyes sharply analyze and focus upon him, the two of them perhaps twenty, thirty meters away in distance as she extends her gaze towards him. Ruhe was mindful that of those watching this fight, Sternritter, captain, or otherwise, for their amusement, she would be expected to show off the full extent of her capabilities. Whatever that may be. However, she knew nothing really about her opponent. Knew nothing about his fighting style or how he preferred to operate. That all considered? She'd remained largely passive until she could assess more. See what he could do. It was her first real time fighting a Quincy.
She took the liberty to motion with her free hand for him to begin.

This truly was something he truly was fighting a child who was no bigger then his younger sister. But something tell him that she was no push over. As Ghost took his tea cup and then he took his tea pot. He would turn to look at the young lady as she ready her bow. He would began to laugh quite a bit but he would start to control himself. As he poured the last of the hot tea into his cup he would watch her and for some reason he was given the first move. "This is odd indeed I could faint at the thought of going first. What sort of gentleman would I be to go before a lady in waiting." He would start to laugh because she was waiting on him to start it off.
But for the love of the Emperor he did not know where to start. As she sent a sign for him to began he mistook that as her waving. This would cause him to put the tea pot down and having the tea cup in his right hand taking his left hand he would wave back. "The poor dear if I didn't know any better I would say that she was about the same age as my Yara when she first started off. Good times good times and if I do say so myself, Yara was quite the Fig-" He would stop saying what he had to say and then started to walk towards the trees.
Soon he would go inside of the forrest as this was a perfect way to dissappear. But before he could do that he would wave for her to follow him. As he started to move [speed 400] he would be taking in the sights of the forrest. He was looking for something he was setting something up. He was preparing to fight a Quincy for the first time and if she paid attention she would notice that the Reishi started to enter the forrest as well. This was because Ghoat was drawing it in almost as if he wanted to find. If she was to go into the forrest or even by it she would hear his voice and with it he would say to her. "Oh dear girl do you care to pay a game?" Although his voice could be heard Ghost would move away some twenty meters hiding behind the trees. But where was he at? Somewhere to her ninty degree angle.

Standing off to the side, and giving the two ample room to have their fight, Sieglinde held her arms crossed with one another. If nothing else, this was a curious little scuffle. One that she felt rather intrigued with. It seemed curious if nothing else, that she was invited to a skirmish between Privat. While she held little vested interest in the matchup, if nothing else it was fun to put herself out there.
Watching the two exchange pleasantries, Seiglinde rolled her eyes. It felt... superficial, if nothing else. This was clearly a fight to display one's capabilities over one another. There was a level of maliciousness behind the act of looking to one-up a fellow Privat. To exchange pleasantries like that didn't quite feel right. Though, it wasn't her fight. She wasn't one to comment on such events. Instead, she was going to stay put.
Releasing her abilities, a wave of blood rushed forth seemingly from beneath her feet, blasting upward and solidifying in a near-instant; a crimson throne manifest for her to observe the battlefield from. Placing her chin into a fist in a sort of relaxed position, she watched on as one of the two rushed into the forested area. What is he planning? She thought to herself, watching as the events unfolded. Would Ruhe follow in behind him perhaps? Was this bait? It was hard to say.

Ruhe found herself looking at Ghost almost immediately flee into the tree line, and with it, she looked ahead with a great level of confusion. Mainly because she didn't see a point in doing what it was he was doing. After all, he talked about "going easy on her", and yet, he was resorting to tricks and running away? "Shrapnel." She calls out, and with it, there was a slight shift in her bow as she releases, the power amping upwards as he since vanishes. Before she pulls back on her string with her right hand.
"Stil." She says, as she fires forth five arrows into the tree line of Ghost's general direction. Before she wills for them to shatter. In mid air, the arrows rip and break apart into dozens, if not hundreds of little shards of shrapnel which litter through and into trees, stones, and otherwise. Her arrow's power so potent that she could rip through all of those things with relative ease. Wherever Ghost was hiding, he'd have very little cover, if at all. Though that wasn't the particularly terrifying thing. What was terrifying was when each of those blue little shard fragments glowed.
Before erupting into miniature bomb sized explosions that rocked the entire woodlands, sending splinters, shards of stone, dirt, and dust flying all around Ghost as the shockwaves reverberated as if many small bombs or grenades detonated all at once. Her bow still held in hand, she'd tilted her head, using her energy sensory to generally sense his direction, as she had before to gauge where to shoot. She didn't have to worry about a tree line if there was no tree line after all. That said, she is courteous enough not to draw again.
Clenching her hand freely over her pendant around her neck, she can feel the rich invigoration of reiatsu filling her. The dust as it begins to settle, Ruhe looks on, wondering if perhaps she'd already been a bit overzealous. However, she begins to let it all out. A horrifying and powerful bath of spiritual pressure beginning to wash over the area, as the winds pick up, and and the stone around her begins to crack. "Oh dear..." Ruhe says, gravity seeming to distort around her somewhat as she looks upon her foe.
Shrapnel is a change of form within the arrows fired torwards an enemy. When using this form property, the arrows fired simply break and split into tiny shards of shrapnel like rust which sacrafice greater lethal force and precision in exchange for wider range and ability to keep crowds in control. These shards make it so that it is ideal to overwhelm an opponent in terms of radius and is a counter to stepping techniques. These shards are of course also very difficult to keep a track of seeing they are plentiful. These arrows detonate into shrapnel at will upon the user's discretion.

As the bombing came towards Ghost he would be simply sipping on his tea. Shame that the young lady just went all out so early on in the fight. But the arrows did not reach Jim albeit was she aiming for him or trying to get him to come out? Either way she would need to do better then that. But at this rate he would need to come out of hiding seeing as the trees were on fire. Ghost would finish up his tea as he would refuse to put it down.
However he did take the tea cup and place it on the ground. As he stepped out from behind a tree he could see that there was dust in front of him. "Oh dear, I wonder who she is trying to impress because I don't know if this is a friendly match or a death match? Either way that powess of hers is terribly scary." What separated the two now was a literal line of dust and debris and it seems to not be going out anytime soon. It is a good way to keep her away from him but the bad thing is If she was to do such a thing again he would be in trouble.
Sure enough he could see her reishi on the other side with her little bow and from the looks of it she has used her bow release. Ghost would start to clap his hands. Slowly but surely he would be all smiles as the dust grew bigger and bigger. Surely she was not too far from him as he walked closer to the dust casuing smokescreen. "Bravo, young lady bravo but if I do say so myself your attack seems a little too much. It was as if you were going for death. Before we continue our little Faye may I ask you this, I've noticed there is another here and seem to be spectators upon our combat. Could it be they wish too see what we are able to do or maybe this person is key to something you wish to obtain?"
But as he said that Ghost would slowly be tightening his gloves. He truly was interested in knowing what was going on. But if one was to look he had a perfect distance of nine meters from her. Although she caused the forrest to become a smokescreen he still had more trees to go to. His plan was starting to come together but getting close to her would prove most problematic. If she would have been any closer he would have been cooked. Soon Ghost would pull put his lighter. As he was inside the the dust cloud that was formed.
