Guerrero didn't view herself as a particularly powerful, dangerous, nor frightening indiviudal. Despite being a fairly tall standing dragonoid creature on all fours with wings as black as night, and dark asphalt colored scales. Nor the fact that she lacked eyelids, and perpetually stared at others with an eerie yellowish green stare. Or the fact she was a Hollow and ate other hollows to advance herself. No. All things considering, as she went through Karakura town, picking off a Hollow here. Another one there? She thought herself to be a fairly decent person. The thought of entering Regina to devour more of the cakes, pies, strudels, and other accruements was a tempting one. Especially in this cold weather.
Moving through the snow, her footprints were clear to see, as she moved along the crowd of people. Occasionally looking through a window to see what was on sale, and what she had to look forward to when she would be human again. All the wonderful things to buy, and all of the fantastical innovations. Even though she had no money; and probably didn't qualify for most jobs in the modern day. Guerrero was a weak Hollow, and she fully acknowledged her weakness. Only feeding upon the weakest of them; generally. It was a pretty difficult and bleak existence one might suppose.
Being hunted down like a beast. She was a lady damn it. "Mhm!~ Mhm-! Mhmamhm." She hums to herself, when taking the liberty to see many enjoying buckets of the colonel's fried chicken. A wondrous delicacy that was apparently eaten in Japan often as a Christmas tradition. This oddly enough was not odd to her, as she viewed it like eating a Christmas pheasant or goose. In fact, she was quite delighted that people in the modern day could afford such luxuries and enjoy it with the family. Though, she only wished she herself could have a piece. After all, Christmas was one of the few times where one could enjoy all the luxuries and meals without the Church restricting meat.
That, and one got to celebrate the birth of their lord and savior Jesus Christ. What a shame it was, she'd need to settle for less. Stamping her claw down on a weaker Hollow, utilizing her spiritual pressure, she'd opened her jaw wide, unhinging it, as she swallows the thing whole. Gulping it down in one go. She didn't like chewing them. They usually tasted disgusting; repulsive as they looked. A horrible thing for her; was that she herself viewed herself as a repulsive beast. Ugh.

Sitting up against the wall of the alleyway like always Madelyn continued to allow the darkness to infest her soul. The beautiful shiny blue hair that she’d always loved was now something else. Its shine was still prevalent if not even more so than it had been before, but a scary fact was now always present in full view for her. Some of her hair had turned the same bright pink color as the monster inside her.she didn’t remember everything when it changed her, but from what she could piece together she had pink eyes and pink lines ran up her arms. So what did it mean that her hair was changed now even when she didn’t feel its presence?
A scary thought though and yet all it did was feed into her despair. She didn’t like anything about her existence now. Keira was the only one that had shown her kindness beyond a few Shinigami. The problem was though that this thing inside her always wanted her to fight. She could tell that much and knew now after experiencing it more than half a dozen times, she enjoyed it. At least while it was happening, fighting against monsters and others like the Shinigami was thrilling. A brief pause in the ever long pit of despair. A small break from all the negativeness that cursed her now.
It didn’t take more than just a few more seconds though before Madelyn felt that sensation once again. She could recognize it now, it’d happened so often now and with nothing else happening to her for weeks and weeks, that she knew it was awake. Looking down at her wrist with fear for a few moments her eyes about to begin crying and then just like that she felt its influence. A wave of pleasure and energy surging throughout her entire body. The tiredness and weakness vanished in an instant. Like a sheet of paper burning up into nothing.
She knew there was something in the area now, something that this thing wanted her to kill. Something that could keep this feeling going, this feeling that overwhelmed the darkness. She hated it and yet when she felt it there was nothing she could do, it was better than everything else. She was weak and couldn’t fight off the pleasant feeling of power surging throughout her body. Exiting the alleyway she’d been standing in Madelyn starts to run down the street looking for whoever or whatever she was meant to kill now in the snow.

"Joooy to the wooorld! The Lord has come! Let eaaarth receeeive her Kiiiing! Leet everyyyy heaart! Prepaaare him rooom! Heaven and nature sing! Oh heaven and nature sing! Oh heaaaven and naature sing!" Guerrero declares as she shakes her body along the snow. The life of a Hollow could be a fairly boring one, when she had nothing to entertain her but the world itself and the people within it. Though. This was vastly preferable to the horrible life in Hueco Mundo. Where every moment of every day seemed to be a battle for survival amongst her fellow hollows.
Though, there was an awkward moment where a girl. A girl came down the street, with the most beautiful hair. It wasn't hard to find Guerrero on the sidewalk. Most humans ignored her and couldn't see her, and Guerrero had gotten good enough where she could hide from most Shinigami. Especially with her dark body and the fact when she folded her crinkled wings upon herself, she could easily look like a bag of trash. Ulcera had allowed her to lose most Shinigami on her trail. Anyhow. When she looked? It almost looked as if she were so happy. Like she was in the holiday spirit!
"Well henlo!~" She says, her tail wagging as if she were a dog. Honestly. She didn't think Madelyn could see her. She figured that she was what one of those girls called it. A "cos" player? Guerrero didn't know what a cos was, but she thought it was so fascinating. Regardless of this, Guerrero seems pleased in the drifting snow. Though she wished it was a little warmer. Nobody liked to be cold after all. Oh, there were so many things that this old girl wished and desired. How couldn't she hope for something? It wasn't as if she was going to be a Hollow forever.
One day, she would be a human again, welcomed into the kingdom of heaven, or at least forgiven for her sins and released from this purgatory. She would marry a handsome and loving husband in the modern day, and she would have no less than two children. With a wonderful home, no financial worries, and with all the food she could ever want. That sounded like a dream. That sounded like something worth working towards. Rubbing her claw along the floor, she wondered. Wondered why she felt as if something was off. Almost felt like danger. No. It definitely was. "Oh dear...can you see me?"

Running from the alleyway onto the street and then charging down it as swiftly as she could, Madelyn felt the cold air brush against her skin, along with the horrible sensation of the cold pavement every time she picked up and placed down either foot. Normally it would have been a painful experience for anyone that didn’t have some sort of training or temperament for the cold like this, but Madelyn wasn’t in the right mental state to begin with, it was for that reason she didn’t even really recognize the sensations that her nerves were giving her.
After a couple more moments Madelyn saw what was triggering the thing inside her arm. Although it was something to fight, something that was going to extend this pleasant brief reprieve from sorrow, it was still just a Hollow. Madelyn had learned a little bit about them and at this point had fought enough of them to recognize one easily. As she was now though most if not all of them only gave her a couple seconds. They didn’t give her a long high, no now it was just a few moments at most and then it began to vanish all over again.
Despite all the dopamine and adrenaline flowing throughout her skull Madelyn still felt the disappointment as she looked at the Hollow. She didn’t feel it for even a full moment though as her massive smile broke out across her face once she heard the Hollow speak. Raising her left hand up her reiatsu would surge as it changed. Suddenly forming black armor in her arm with a silver blade embedded in the side of her forearm. Each one of her fingers possesses a sharp knife-like attachment above each digit. A bright pink line zigging and zagging up her arm to her left eye which now glowed pink.
“I can do more than see you. Try not to die quick I need this to last as long as possible.”
Just like that Madelyn extended her left hand out pointing at the Hollow who was roughly thirty feet away from her. Just within the range of her fingers which the Hollow would find out if she didn’t move. The blade on Madelyn’s index finger immediately grew out retaining its sharpness which would allow it to cut and pierce through basically anything in the human world. Moving at a speed of 300 with a piercing strength of 200, this nail was likely to punch right through the lower mid section of the Hollow if she did nothing. Madelyn watched with a smile, but didn’t expect anything beyond blood.

It was in those moments, that the girl came, looking so absolutely eccentric and happy to see her. She smiled back, though was largely confused. As she saw the armor form. The blade in the forearm. It looked as if she had a horrific looking weapon of sorts that sought to consume her. From Guerrero's perspective, Madelyn looked like a demon. Ironic considering her own visage, but in reality? Maybe this girl was. For she asked her not to die quickly. In those moments? Guerrero looks on with a great level of confusion, her instincts kicking in as she was soon set upon.
As the blade finger extended, Guerrero leaped backwards, her wings flapping open as she saw the sharp protrusion, realizing that it didn't look much different than a Hollow's attack. In fact, it seemed pretty similar and the kind of move that she might have expected or seen several times in her life. Looking out, she couldn't help but feel confused on the nature of this being. "Oh great heavens! How terrible! On Christmas too!" She exclaims, before gazing the girl over fully. "Please. Oh please. Might we not fight on the day of birth of our lord and savior?" Just how much worse could this get?
Guerrero wasn't really much of a fighter. She was more of a lover, or a runner, or a slitherer than a fighter. Though she did hold some skills and abilities that helped? She really only ever ate the weakest of prey. More often than not, she used cunning and swift thinking as opposed to brute power and strength. Well, mainly because she didn't have too much of that to begin with. Leaping further and further back, she would be prepared to defend herself if reason was out of the table. Though the main thing on Guerrero's mind at the moment? Escape. Escape from the prospect of being slain by one whom enjoyed such bloodshed! Oh the horror!

Madelyn, despite the adrenaline pumping throughout her body, was slowed down by the surprise that came when she felt no resistance. She’d held her left hand out and aimed no differently than she had been against the last few Hollows. All of them had been hit, pierced right through with only a couple of them managing to avoid a fatal hit. Usually her nail was tough enough to stab right through the white bone masks of the Hollow killing them right away. This Hollow though was fast enough or maybe it was smart enough to leap backwards away from her letting it get just far enough away to survive.
It was a first for Madelyn and definitely something that made her hesitant for a moment. The process of figuring out how and why her attack didn’t reach the Hollow was something she would naturally do immediately. Sadly, though, Madelyn wasn’t in any natural head space. So instead of analyzing the situation she charged headlong immediately afterward knowing now that in order to kill this Hollow she had to be right up on it. If she could get right next to the Hollow then there was no way for it to avoid her nails or her blade.
The massive curved smile would now stretch across her face while her left eye glowed bright pink from her reiatsu. The influence line of pink that spread up from her left arm to beneath her left eye glowed as well yet not nearly as bright. The Hollow spoke not just more than Madelyn, but in a much more articulate manner. It would seem more like something from a cartoon or comic strip as the monstrous looking beast spoke like an academic and yet Madelyn could hardly speak a coherent sentence. “No you must stand to fight. It's no fun when you run.”
The Hollow was faster than Madelyn that much she could understand after chasing after it at her full speed for just a couple seconds. It meant that no matter what she did right now unless she gave more of her reiatsu and body over to the thing in her arm again, she wasn’t going to catch this Hollow. The mere thought was enough that Madelyn felt the pleasure coursing throughout her body to diminish. A single moment that dropped her high down and caused the young girl within to crack further.
This fight had to go on as long as possible just like all the others. If she wasn’t fighting then she was nothing now. She felt empty, useless, alone. She didn’t want to feel that not after months of it with only brief moments filled with pleasure beyond almost anything else she could ever recall experiencing. “NO!” Madelyn screamed and then would vanish, executing shunpo to close the distance right away. She’s practiced enough now that getting the distance and timing was easy.
Appearing right in front of the Hollow, the blade within her left arm now extended out to its full length. Raising her left arm up and outwards like an ascending slash, Madelyn aimed to cut across the snake Hollow’s front. Getting rid of those wings was the biggest goal to prevent it from flying off, but if she hurt it enough then it couldn’t get away either. “Fight fight fight!” Shouting at the top of her lungs Madelyn begins to struggle keeping a lid on the power coursing through her body.
