Rules for Players
This is where some miscellaneous player rules will be listed. These rules include submission restraints, character limits, and other rules that do not have a home exactly within the primary rule sections. As always, if there are any questions, please consult a staff member.1. Submission Restraints - Players are not allowed to have more than three concurrent grading requests for anything that isn't a thread at a time. This is on a "per player" basis, not a "per character" basis. Please wait for a submission to get a final grading/approval before submitting anything new once you reach the maximum submissions allowed. If you have three submissions already that are waiting on a grading and/or approval from staff, then anything further will be ignored and you will be asked to submit it again later once you have an open slot to do so. Again, regular threads (PvP, JT, Adventure, etc) are not subjected to this rule.
2. Technique/Item Grading Restraints - In the event that you make a series of techniques or items and submit them for grading, each submission cannot contain more than five techniques or five items at a time. If the techniques or items in question are part of a series of 15, for example, there still may only be up to five per submission. In this case, you are welcome to write up all of them as three individual submissions for grading, but then you will have reached your Submission Restraint and must wait for something to be fully approved before you continue.
3. Character Slot Limits - Every player on site has three character slots to begin with by default. If you wish to earn more slots to create new characters after the first three have been filled, a single character must earn 8,000 CTP. Once that is earned, a new slot will open. This can only be done once per character. As soon as a slot is opened by earning the required CTP using that character, that same character cannot open more slots regardless of CTP earnings. Power Tier characters must earn 8,000 CTP from their initial CTP level (a class 1 character who started at 14,000 CTP must get to 22,000 CTP before the player can gain a new character slot). This process can be repeated with no total limit on character slots. Hollows follow the same process, but those characters must earn 14,000 CTP to open another character slot. This is due to consumption CTP being added to their earnings. For characters who app into a Class where earning 8,000 is not viable due to race leveling restrictions, they must instead earn 8,000 TTP.
**NOTE: If a character is retired or dies, the character slot is lost. For example, if you earned three additional slots for a total of six, and your sixth character is retired or dies, the slot is lost and you are brought down to five. You must earn the appropriate CTP (or TTP in certain circumstances) again to unlock a new character slot. In the event that there is a situation where you have used all of your characters to unlock a slot and cannot earn more using traditional methods, you have the opportunity to buy a new slot twice a year. You must spend 100,000 Ryo for the first slot purchase and 200,000 Ryo for the second slot purchase each year. This resets every year regardless of whether two slots were purchased or not but the year count starts at the time of the first 100,000 purchase and does not correlate to a calendar year. If you have a retired character you wish to bring back, you must have an available slot to do so. Their original slot cannot be reused.
4. Non-Saigo Race Changes - In the event that your character changes races, they will lose all currently-banked TTP and Ryo, immediately setting those to zero. CTP, trained SP, and SkP will be retained along with any Training Tier benefits you may have. Any techniques that can still be used by your character's new race can also be retained, and everything else will be given a 75% TTP refund without the use of an Amnesia Pill Should you prefer, a full-reset back at Class 8 is still an option, but not mandatory.
5. Character Deaths - Deaths are permanent unless the death relates to a race change. Characters cannot be revived unless there is a valid In-Character reason to do so. If any player wishes to revive their character, they must present their reasons to staff and a decision on whether the character can be revived or not will be made from there, as well as a plan for revival. In the event that the character dies, they lose all of their progress. This means their CTP, TTP, SP, SkP, Ryo, any techniques earned, or any other things pertaining to that character will all be gone. The only time a character may be permitted to retain their progress after death is in the event of a race change [see Rules for Players number 4] or if the character is permitted to revive.
6. Grading Benefits - For members of Staff and Senior Graders, they may earn 50 TP per grading given, regardless of thread type being graded. This applies to both the 1/2 and 2/2 individuals, and even for gradings that only require a 1/1. For character gradings only, this value is raised to 100 TP for the 1/2 grader due to that generally being the more difficult round in the process. The 2/2 will have the standard 50 TP per grading. TP earned by grades can be applied to any of the player's characters freely. TP awarded from gradings will not count towards opening new character slots. These gradings must be given genuine thought towards balance, as is trusted of Staff and Senior Graders. Anyone who fails to do so may be subjected to removal from the team.
