Good, he could feel her confidence welling up, the way that she gripped him by the wheel and the stick shift definitely had a bit more certainty in it. The accelleration and the slide of the wheels along the ground. Huh, what a weird sensation it was, feeling the gears in his form shifting as they sped up toward the hollows. It seemed Catty was heading toward the group? That was good. Trying to be thorough and efficient. And so when they started to swerve toward them, he sharpened his focus.
The hollows soon turned their attention toward them as they swerved in. They hissed, baring their fangs and priming their limbs. Claws, stingers, and even extra mouths parted, ready to lunge at the incoming car in anticipation. ONe of them LUNGING in, aiming to slam its tail in through the windshield. It was in that very moment that a slim barrier of reishi congealed over that spot. Covering the entire front of the car. Still see-through, but crackling with energy. The stinger CRACKED, breaking off just before the car itself SLAMMED into it's body.
The loud SPLUCH of it's frame being ripped open. Blood gushing onto the barrier of energy as well as the ground as it was ripped apart, then swinging about to slam into the nearby Hollow as well. Thin strands spilling from the sides of the car. Wires made from Reishi which snagged the third hollow. A loud THUMP sounding. The first hollow's lower body thumping under the car, the second one sent flying while the third shrieked out as it was suddenly cut into and dragged along the ground. Chunks of its frame flying free as the wires cut into it's body.
NORMALLY it was a meneuver that Colt never would have been able to pull off while ALSO meneuvering himself. His brain didn't function that fast. But with Catty working on driving? All he had to focus on was ability use as he tore through the small group. Of course the sound and carnage was quick to draw the attention of the other hollows. Perking up and growing a bit more lively, more AGGRESSIVE as they set their sights on the pair. With that fell swoop, they'd managed to rip through a good couple of them.
"You got this Cat! Just a few more!"
