Humming a chipper tune to herself as she ventured into the Human World once more, Hiyori took the opportunity to look around the city. Appearing in France around the afternoon, it seemed that she'd been tasked with yet another mission. Quite normal for the Rōnin to be sent on a mission like that, yeah? Chuckling to herself at the thought, Hiyori created her swords, and began to go about her day as normal.
Making note of the report that she'd received, Hiyori found it quite interesting that a second Espada had been in the Human World. She once again hadn't reports on what was going on during his tenure there, but she was fairly confident on whom it was; the Segunda Espada. If nothing else, it was quite interesting after having just squared off against the Primera recently. How would she fare against this individual?
Naturally, the goal here was to follow the rather massive spiritual pressure that had been fluctuating throughout the entire country. She'd be hard-pressed to struggle finding someone like that, after all. And, in time? She'd eventually have her mark on the matter. "Well, hello there," she called out, "it's a pleasure to meet you!" Drawing her sword, she pointed it toward the man. "Hiyori Castellanos; Captain Supervisor of the Vandenreich. I'm here to challenge you to a duel to yield; do you accept?"

Description: While this item is manufactured by Seb Co., a Human World based group, it is only found in Soul Society markets due to its high demand there. The Artificial Zanpakuto can be commissioned to take on the appearance of any bladed weapon that the user requests. It is made of spiritual steel. Class: 1 Item Type: Weapon Cost: 41,000 Ryo.
{Class 6 - Arrow Form - 神剣 - Shinken (lit. 'Divine Sword')} The first of Hiyori's Bow Release properties, Shinken allows Hiyori to transform the arrows she fires into katana. This is an opt-in ability, and need not be activated with each firing of her bow. Upon activation of this property, two of these katana-arrows form immediately on Hiyori's hip at a Class equal to her own, for no cost. Each katana fired after that costs an additional 10 reiatsu per Class of the arrow. When this property is deactivated, all but the two katana on Hiyori's hip will revert to normal arrows.
Description: A simple technique freeing Quincy of reishi poisoning while using their cross in Hueco Mundo. By halving their reishi intake, they can avoid being poisoned.

Description: An extension of Blut Vene, Blutwächter serves as a spiritually defensive option for Quincies that find themselves up against Hollows or Arrancar. By expending 150 reiatsu per post, the user can activate this technique, shielding them from specifically Hollow and Arrancar reiatsu in order to protect themselves from the poisoning and acidic burns that they are capable of inducing. When used alongside the Quincy technique Verfeinern, this technique costs no reiatsu.
How to Use: Pulse reiatsu through the user's veins.
Drawbacks: Blutwächter cannot be used alongside But Vene. If Verfeinern is active alongside Blutwächter, Blut Vene can be used, but only at half-effectiveness. Requires Blut at Learned.
Arcadus sat in the smoky parlor, quite satisfied with his situation. Gambling was a great hobby of his, and making a fool out of stuck up humans was also great. He could read their souls and his raw aura was enough to make people fold. It was an enjoyable racket, and this particular den in the human nation of France suited him. Good food, wine and company made for a good time, and his winnings certianly sweeted it. French people did live up to their reputation however and he had to make a mental note to shower later.
Taking his attention off of the game for a moment, he could sense a powerful spiritual presence nearby. Someone heading towards his direction, and as he honed in on the nature of the spirit, he could tell this was a quincy. Just his luck that it would turn over in the worst way. Taking his chips, he folded the current pot and went to cash out, putting it down on his tab and stocking up some credit for next time, assuming this place would still be standing after the fact if this got ugly.
Stepping out into the night, Arcadus hopped down from the landing for the stair way. He was several stories up, not that it mattered. He needed to move and find a place to gargaunta out and avoid this is. Realistically, no one was going to know if he avoided this. He wasn't "running" he was using discretion. Besides, its not like there was a reason to stand and fight beyond dealing with this individual quincy agent, but one dead wasp did not a hive kill.

As it seemed the individual in question ignored her words, she watched the Arrancar on the roof aim to open up Kumon. Sighing softly, Hiyori threw herself forward into the air, travelling via Hirenkyaku reishi platforms, and landing in front of the Espada. Her sword had been poised, her stance had shown aggression. "I will not repeat myself," she spoke, acting as a wall between the Espada and his little portal, "I am here to fight; His Majesty's decree. You've an option to raise your blade against me, else I will cut you down here, Arrancar."
Waiting for a response, Hiyori gave him the opportunity to act; whether through words, actions, or something in-between, she'd offer that level of quarter if nothing else. Still, she'd make her intentions clear, if nothing else. "Perhaps we should make small-talk first? What is your name, Espada? What number do you hold?" She smiled at the situation. Surely this was to make an interesting situation, no?
If he hadn't responded combatively, she was prone to doing so first. Throwing her blade across Arcadus' chest in a diagonal fashion, Hiyori struck at her highest Speed capable in order to get in a quick strike against her opponent. Taking a leap back from there, she planned to wait and see just how the Arrancar responded for her next move. "If you're not going to bring a fight to me, perhaps I'll bring one to you?"

Technique Description and Effects: Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to many Quincy, it is faster than flash steps, though a Captain's superior speed in comparison to a Master Quincy's speed suggests that this is just a generalization. Using it in its base form increases speed 10x for a single step, and costs 50 Reiatsu. However, unlike Shunpo and Sonido, this can be used for a constant movement as well. Giving up 300 Reiatsu allows for a constant movement over the duration of one post at 2x speed. Giving up 600 Reiatsu allows constant movement over the duration of 3 posts of 3x speed.
How to use technique: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.
Drawback: The speed increases from this technique do not apply to the user's entire body, rather just toward moving their legs, like one would expect from a stepping technique. Instead of one step, however, this movement remains constant.
Description: This technique is one that makes use of the body directly, using the user’s spiritual strength to increase the body’s capabilities in specific ways. Like Willpower, this technique comes in stages as well, but is limited to two: [Stage 1: Push]: This power coats the user in a sort of "Output Aura." It does two things. First, awareness can extend out by two more inches. This means someone will become more aware of an incoming attack two inches of distance from the attack earlier than normal. It means that one can try to use this to predict enemies, though not as successfully as actual prediction or reading. The secondary point expands "damage." Essentially, it bypasses defenses. A human using this is completely immune to cutback effect regardless of state, and this extends to weapon uses too. Hierro is also completely ignored during use of Push. This defense ignoring is only present during physical attacks. Reiatsu-based strikes can still meet Hierro resistance. This lasts for 5 posts, and costs 100 Reiatsu.
[Stage 2: Impact]: This stage can be used only for physical confrontation. When activated, hit strength triples. This means that one can activate it while punching an enemy. If the user has 200 strength, that strength will count as 600 during the instance of the punch. This is very physically draining, and quickly exhausts the body's nutrients. It shortens lifespan to use too often, and it weakens stamina very quickly. This lasts for 1 post, and costs 200 Reiatsu.
Arcadus stopped in his tracks as the Quincy landed in front of him, sword brandished at him, to which his hand went to his sword immediately before pausing, trying to feign suprise, which wasn't too hard, as he was. Apparently she had been speaking to him, something he hadn't heard. Maybe they were one of those with incredible senses and mis judged from where they could be heard. Regardless, he neeed some kind of option, considering that she was prattling about seeing him meet her Emperor's Decree. Clearly one of those VandenRiech types.
"Well, Hiyori, I'm not exactly sure what you want, but I'm more than willing to make small talk." His tone matched up with what he figured people who were nervous sounded like, and as to why, he needed an opening to try and strike. Likely, she'd parry or avoid it, so he needed a follow up that might actually land. Judging them, he had to assume they were faster than him, and considering they surfed a kind of platform instead of stepped, they might be a physical fighter, rather than someone who might step simply to travel.
"I'm the Secunda Espada. I was actually just leaving a club I'm rather fond of staying at, and if you don't mind, I'd like to return home and take a nap, but if that isn't an option I can keep you comp-" Arcadus cut his innuendo short as he tightened his grip on his sword, swinging it out from his left to his right. Said sword was the spiritual steel zanpakuto, something he considered a beater sword. The plan, was to bind, to bite, into the weapon of his opponent, and the shockwave that was following his strike, its speed amplified by Sonido Garra.
Not one to let an offense be left alone, Arcadus brought a cero to fire in an instant, red light not so much glowing as flashing to follow where he could sense his target move to. He needed to overwhelm them, and while he wasn't going to release this minute, he needed to try and keep them on the back foot. "I'm sorry sweet thing, but I'm not a fan of your dad, as much as I'm sure he's a fan of me." Pushing forward, Arcadus would flex his torso in preperation for a counter attack.

Raising an eyebrow at Arcadus' own words, Hiyori found it rather interesting that he'd been so keen on taking up the offer for small talk. That seemed very much uncharacteristic for what she'd expect from an Arrancar; especially one that stood as tall as he, and seemingly as powerful. She'd have to keep up her guard if she wanted to deal with this man.
Though, her suspicions were very quickly confirmed when he spoke about being the Segunda Espada. He really had been quite strong; supposedly, at least. Such a fact made itself very apparent as he went in for quite the cheap strike against the girl; one that easily would've caught most folks off-guard. Though, far outspeeding him through Hirenkyaku Blitz, Hiyori launched her right hand into the air, preemptively catching his blade with her own in an effort to defend against his incoming attack, and flexing her own arm muscles in order to lessen the transfer of force onto herself. Just as she'd done that, her arteries began to glow; the telltale sign of Blut.
Raising her own hand as he did his, Hiyori held her hand in front of the incoming Cero, allowing the blast to be taken into her own Quincy cross. Smirking, she propelled her spare hand forward in the process, smashing her strike into the Arrancar's abdomen not only with the force of her own Strength, but with Arcadus' own spiritual prowess returned against him, overlayed into her strike. Combine that with the incoming shockwave from her strike? And he was in for quite the attack. Not to mention, the bit of reiatsu he'd feel drained from his spirit.
If it weren't for her Blutwächter, she very well could've poisoned herself! Thankfully, she'd been prepared hunting an Espada. Pulling back after her strike against the man, Hiyori took up a bare-handed stance, sheathing her sword and looking like she was ready to slug it out with the individual. "Well, mister Segunda Espada, let me ask you this; what might you know about Quincy? Perhaps that all of us fight from a range? If so, you're going to be in for quite the rough time."

Description: Mimicking techniques like Shunpō Karin, Sonido Garra, and Bringer Flash, Hirenkyaku Blitz aims to multiply the striking speed of a limb ten-times over by creating a reishi platform in the middle of a limb, before rocketing it forward.
How to Use: Create a reishi platform akin to Hirenkyaku over a limb, and send that limb flying forward.
Drawbacks: Requires a 1 in Martial Arts: Angehen, and Hirenkyaku at Mastered. This technique at Learned can be used once per post; Proficient is twice, and Mastery is three. Counts against the user's Stepping techniques per post.
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu/post for Vene, 500 Reiatsu/post for Arterie.
Description: Blut, translated as “blood,” is a powerful technique that is passed down through all pure-blooded Quincies of the Vandenreich Empire. This technique is a gift from the Vandenreich Emperor, and only exists as long as he, or someone of similar power who has assumed his role, is alive. Channeling that leader's power through their very veins, Vandenreich Quincy are able to draw upon it and make use of it either defensively or offensively in combat. This technique is not active by default, however, and a cost must be paid to trigger it.
The first half of this technique is Blut Vein, the defensive half of the ability. Acting similar to an Arrancar's Hierro, Blut Vein allows the user to protect themselves on the skin level, preventing any physical damage to the body as long as the user possesses a superior offensive stat. Unlike Hierro, though, this armor will not degrade over time. However, attacks with impact behind them can still send the user flying, though the bodily damage will be negated. Blut Vein costs 300 Reiatsu per post to keep active.
The other half of the technique is Blut Arterie, which focuses on offensive ability. While this ability is active, the Emperor's power flows through the user's body and soul, doubling either physical or spiritual stats. This takes up one of the user's long-term stat boost slots, and costs 500 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Note that only one of these two techniques can be active at a time; if one is activated, the other is deactivated.
How to Use: Spend Reiatsu to draw out the latent power in the user's blood.
Drawbacks: The first major drawback to Blut Vein is that it can be bypassed in one of three ways. First, if the opponent's offensive stat is higher by even a single point, then Blut Vein is ignored. Second, if the opponent is of a superior Class, then Blut Vein is bypassed. Finally, “final forms” of Release, such as Bankai, can ignore Blut Vein.
Blut Arterie has its own drawbacks as well. When active, Blut Vein is removed, removing the user's defenses. Aside from taking up a stat boost slot, the user is constantly funneling excess energy through their body, which is a tiring effect over time. Finally, while active, the user draws in half as much Reiatsu per post as normal, as they are focused on output more than they are on drawing it in.

Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 600 Reiatsu.
Description: A powerful form of martial combat created for Quincy that draws upon the race's natural affinity for manipulating reiatsu. The user can use their Quincy cross or spirit fragment to absorb incoming spiritual attacks, before launching them back out with a strike, combining the effective Reiatsu Strength of the attack with their physical strength. If Blut Arterie is active, this technique has no initial cost.
How to Use: The user holds out their Quincy cross/spirit fragment towards the attack, absorbing it before striking out with the item that absorbs the attack, sending out the attack.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: The user will be unable to absorb any reiatsu using either the spirit fragment or the Quincy cross for the post in which this is used. Also, this technique also causes physical strain on the body, and repetitive use will exhaust the user more quickly, and requires at least one point in Martial Arts (Angehen) to perform.
Description: An advanced form of the Quincy martial combat, Angehen, and considered one of the strongest. It is considered one of the greatest weapons versus spiritual beings, and allows the Quincy to 'eat' the beings' reiatsu and even their spiritual form. Every time the user strikes those with spiritual power, the being loses 250 reiatsu and the Quincy gains 125, stored in the Quincy cross or mask fragment, and the person gets slight stamina depletion. For spiritual beings, if they are hit when they have 250 reiatsu or less, their body breaks down and is absorbed by the Quincy into the Quincy cross or mask fragment.
How to Use: The user strikes the opponent, using their Quincy cross or mask fragment to steal away reiatsu on contact.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This technique also requires at least a three in Martial Arts (Angehen) to perform. Rei gained this way, however, cannot go past the cap of the Quincy. If it does, they need to use it within 3 posts, or else they explode. The technique is also physically demanding, and as such causes the user to grow tired more quickly.
As Arcadus swung in what he figured would be a suprise attack, he did not expect the quincy to stop the blade with her bare hand. This was already not good, and he had to rethink his attack. If they were faster and physically stronger, then he'd have to leverage something else against them. His cero disappearing, similar to how he consumed spiritual attacks, also did not bode well, but her using that energy to empower her fist spelled doom.
Arcadus didn't see the strike, it was too fast, but he could sense the energy pouring into it. Even as he tried to flex his spiritual prowess to stop it, it bored through his defenses and armor , punching clean into his gut. Reeling, Arcadus willed himself to focus. No time for a damage check, he needed to put up something to defend himself. Grabbing his Artifical Zanpakuto, Arcadus looked at Hiyori, scanning for a potential attack in case he needed to step.
Hiyori would see her punch blow off Arcadus's robe and steel silk shirt, her retracted fist exposing destroyed muscle tissue, her knuckles soaked in blood. The arrancar had drawn his sword, a crimson calvary sabre. "You know, Hiyori, if you wanted me to take my shirt off you could have just asked. I'm sure we could make something work if you really wanted." Arcadus managed a sly smirk, putting up a confident front, despite the very significant damage he'd taken.
Not particularly interested in whatever follow up she might have to that comment, Arcadus flexed his rieatsu strength into a blinding white flash attempting to take advantage of whatever kind of shock he had caused, and released, Hiyori being able to hear through the haze, "Slash and Burn, give me victory!". She could hear the roar of Sonido as the light dissipated, and Arcadus swung a glowing red sabre across her torso, if she hadn't turned in reaction, her back. (Bleeding Edge, Sonido Garra)
Accompanying this would be a flurry of fireballs, thrown in a sextet (183 rs 600 speed), seemingly meant to overwhelm the senses as Arcadus moved again, this time under his normal speed, back to gain some distance between him and his opponent. "You're quite the adversary Hiyori, I hope that this doesn't put a damper on our acquaintance!" Hopefully, he could try and get in her head. Standing back on a roof across the street, Arcadus eyed briefly his flames that had not hit Hiyori, making a mental note to try and time this out so he could resolve at least his external damage.
Drawing now, a long, chitinous blade, Arcadus expected them to retailiate with something, but considering they were a physical type, he knew he would have to move to avoid them. Stalling right now was his best option, but he needed to force them with pressure. He had an upper hand with his release, but they hadn't released yet, so there were still cards to play. Luckily, he'd likely be able to use his ace, cero garandou, once his flames spread across the town.

{Class 1 Bleeding Edge 2200/2200 (Dominant Hand)}Class: 1 Item Type: Item Power 1100 IP Offense Type:IP Durability:IPX2 Bonuses: A sabre, created to the user's instruction, designed to be swung in one hand, is imbued imbued with the Kanji for Bleeding, 出血 up the flat of the blade. On contact with flesh, it will pierce into the target’s body with specialized reiatsu needles which punch deep into the flesh of its target, causing bleeding. The level of bleeding is determined by the target’s bleed resist skill, being ineffective against bleed resist 3, light bleeding against bleed resist 2, moderate bleeding from bleed resist 1, and heavy bleeding from a target with no bleed resist. The bladed requires a charge of reiatsu to be used as anything more than a well made saber, and to properly charge it, the user must pay 200 reiatsu per swing. When charged, this blade will have a faint red aura. HE above 400 can negate the bleeding by one step, at 800 2 steps, and 1200 by 3 steps.
Light Bleeding Consists of a small stream of blood running from the wound, dripping down whatever area, and does not stop until pressure is applied to the wound for a post. This type of bleeding doesn't have any risk of bleeding out the individual, or sending them into shock, and as such, has no other issues unless 10 cuts are applied, in which case the target is considered to be heavily bleeding. HSR immediately closes these kinds of wounds.
Moderate Bleeding consists of A large, constant stream of blood from the wound, and requires medical treatement, be it healing techniques or the use of HE's aura to heal, or HSR and generally this wound does not close with pressure unless it is flexed closed by a high STR individual of flexing as noted in the strength stat description. This form of bleeding can send the person into shock of not adressed in 3 posts, in which case they will suffer from nausea, fatigue, and excessive sweating. This effect results in difficulty focusing, uncertianty, and a lack of stamina. Medium bleeding progresses to heavy bleeding if not attended for 6 posts, or the user suffers 5 wounds that would inflict medium bleeding
Heavy Bleeding consists of a gushing stream of blood, that requires immediate medical attention to avoid serious damage or blood loss. to stop the bleeding requires a strength flex of greater than this weapons IP, HE equivilant to it, or HSR, though the regeneration for other wounds will slow as it works to stem the bleeding and close the wound(s). The nausea, fatigue, and excessive sweating are greatly increased from teh previous stage, and can result in an inability to strike with full force, hold weapons stable, keep one's eyes open, and, in the event that one has been suffering from Heavy Bleeding for 3 posts, bleeding out and going unconcious.

As her strike had found its mark, smashing into the Arrancar with extreme efficacy, Hiyori smirked at his words. While she found them rather off-putting, it was certainly interesting to see such a foe make banter like this. She wasn't going to dignify it with a response, however. That's very much what her fists were for. She was here in His Majesty's name, after all. Though, it seemed that Arcadus had a trick up his sleeve.
As quick as it seemed he could, a blinding flash came from the Arrancar. Instead of sending herself into a panic however, Hiyori immediately activated two of her Bow Properties. As the Espada's blade came crashing into the Quincy's skin, Hiyori took the opportunity to take a few steps back, riding on Hirenkyaku in order to keep her in the air during the process. Holding her ground as a barrage of fiery blasts came in toward her, she simply stood valiant while the smoke cleared.
Underneath that smoke, the Quincy stood tall, revealed to be wearing what looked like a suit of samurai armor, with no visible damage having been done to the girl. Whatever it was Arcadus had tried to do to her had been... ineffective. "Wow," she started, "that was quite the cheap shot, Espada. Can you truly not hold your own against me so much so, that you resort to dirty tricks?"
As her words finished, Hiyori blitzed behind the Espada through Hirenkyaku, appearing far faster than he could perceive. Shortly thereafter, she drew her blade and slashed into the Arrancar's skin once more, aiming to bisect as best she could. As before, such a strike was sped up through Hirenkyaku Blitz, and came with the same leeching capabilities Verschlingende Streik held. Just how long could he hold up to the assault?
After striking one more time with Hirenkyaku Blitz, looking to paint an "X" across Arcadus' back at 14,000 Speed, she took a few steps back and perched on a nearby building. She wasn't to say anything on the matter; instead, she simply watched the Arrancar like a hawk. He'd proven to be quite the bothersome foe, that much was certain. Especially after that little glowing flash; that was going to prove to be annoying.

{Class 3 - Mass - 強力な要塞 - Kyōryokuna Yōsai (lit. ‘Mighty Bastion’)} Upon activation, Kyōryokuna Yōsai takes form as a suit of heavy samurai armor, covering Hiyori from head to toe. This armor will protect Hiyori against attacks with an OS equivalent to her Strength or less, but comes with another unique feature. By reducing her Speed by a chosen amount on activation (or after spending 50 Reiatsu to adjust after activating), she can increase the OS required to get through this armor by an equal amount. This effect functions similarly to the Spiritual Pressure/Reiatsu Strength transfer mechanic, though only affects this armor’s defense and does not alter Hiyori’s Strength otherwise, and can only be performed once per post. Activating this property alongside Blut removes the cut to regeneration, and halves the per-post reiatsu cost. The effects of Blut do not apply to Kyōryokuna Yōsai.
{Class 2 - Heart - 自殺戦士 - Jisatsu Senshi (lit. ‘Self-Destructive Warrior’)} Through her Heart property, Hiyori multiplies her defensive capabilities. While active, she becomes exceptionally more able when it comes to taking hits and exchanging blows. Up to a number of times a post equal to her Pain Tolerance, Hiyori is capable of shrugging off the pain from an attack or technique used against her. Up to a number of times a post equal to her Strength of Will, Hiyori can increase her Offensive Stat by 50% to clash against the statistical debuffs, mental debilitations, and the effects from poisons from an attack or technique used against her; abilities that normally do not rely upon a clash of Offensive Stat will force one upon activation of this ability. Up to a number of times a post equal to her Damage Recovery, Hiyori can heal a non-lethal injury from an attack or technique used against her; non-lethal injuries include anything that do not immediately kill her, including internal organs. Eyes, ears, and other external extremities can be healed. This property does not make her damage-immune, rather allows her to power through strikes for a time. She’ll still succumb to damage if it’s great enough. Abilities of Class 1 require Hiyori have an Offensive Stat superiority. Class 0 abilities bypass this property.
Arcadus’s blade hit solid steel, an unmoving hulk, and as he dashed away, he could hear Hiyori taunting him, trying to provoke him and play a similar game to what he was doing. He could sense a step building in her as she ended her retort, and in desperation, whirled around to try and remain prepared, blade at the ready. She appeared, and without thinking, Arcadus put his blade down and held it with all his might, one hand inside its guard and another at the top, bracing.
Despite his attempt to block, Hiyori still cut deep into his side, not bisecting him as she perhaps wanted, and not enough to sever his spine, but enough to cut through flesh and split his midsection, his block having only slowed her blade to a halt, rather than intercepting it mid strike. Pushing away, Arcadus cold feel the blade pulled through his midsection, and had to will himself to conciousness. The steel was cold, chilling to his insides.
In another instant, Arcadus could feel a pair of cuts crossed his chest, the slice too fast for him to register until both had finished and fresh blood poured out of him. He staggered there, and as pain clouded his mind, there were few options left to him. He needed an opening, something to remove the immense speed advantage his opponent had over him. Teetering back, on the edge of the roof top, Arcadus eyed Hiyori. “Well, that was a damn good set of cuts. Anymore and you could serve me up as a filet.”
He wasn’t going to go out like this, as he fell to his knees, his hair flowing over to cover his face. Rolling back, Arcadus fell back, off of the roof. As he fell from the quincy’s line of sight, he fired a cero, blinding white in color, through the building now obscuring him towards Hiyori. Arcadus stepped upon firing this cero, Sonido and Luna paso cero taking him high into the sky where he could gain some distance and where he could try and bring himself to focus. He needed to spread his flames, burn this bitch down, and to make her disappear. As he slung a cloud of fireballs towards the ground, Arcadus held his side, trying to keep himself together.

Watching as the Espada fell from the roof, Hiyori knew full-well that she wasn't going to let her foe escape so easily. As needed, she dropped Jisatsu Senshi. Especially someone like an Arrancar; Doing so could've very easily put her into a position to be struck from a range. Something the girl knew full well that she would've had quite a bit of trouble dealing with, if she wasn't careful. Dropping her blades, she lunged forward, falling alongside Arcadus off the building.
Much like she'd expected, Arcadus had prepared to charge and fire off a blast in her direction; one that momentarily left her seeing nothing but white. Though, she'd been prepared. Taking note of his affinity toward firing Cero, the girl held her Quincy Cross in front of the blast as it formed once again, making short work of both the attack itself and the blinding light it produced. Much like before, it was absorbed within her Quincy Cross.
Though, it didn't seem that was the end of it. As the Espada sought to make another escape from the girl, this time propelled through Sonido and Luna Paso Cero, she was going to take distinct advantage over the differential in Speed between herself and the Arrancar. Manifesting a Hirenkyaku platform, and pulling her shortbow cross, she prepared the same maneuver against the Cero he fired once more, drawing in the laser and stopping his vertical ascension.
Keeping on pace with his slowing momentum, the girl went for two more "kill-shots" against the Arrancar; namely, firing back both blasts through him once more, punching his abdomen with both fists at the same time; both propelled through Hirenkyaku Blitz. If her strikes found their mark, both Cero sought to blast through the Arrancar's stomach and chest. Once again, she'd sought to siphon what she could of his reiatsu from both blows. Would he be standing after that? Only time would tell. If he'd been able to make an escape, such needed to be accounted for.

Arcadus reached his summit, looking down at the destruction he had caused. He knew the quincy either was overwhelmed by the cero or had absorbed it, and he needed to counteract it. But she was too fast. Arcadus felt another impact in his chest and stomach. He reached for his sword, the artificial zan that would close his wounds and bring him back into the fight. But he was far to injured, not strong enough to even grip the weapon.
Falling out of the sky, Arcadus snapped his fingers, and a portal infront of him opened, and a figured stepped out. Tierra was here to preserve his master. The leapord skinned cat-saika took a fighting stance as he release, light bending around him to render him invisible. "Well Hiyori, I'll let you play with this one instead, maybe he's more your speed." Arcadus fell toward the earth, fuming despite his demeanor. Nobody had punished him this way, forced and injured him in this kind of way.
Cami had cut him open more than once, and others had similarly wounded him, but they all suffered similar fates, he'd either hit them back just as hard, or they folded under his might. A loss, a defeat, was foreign to him. The Arrancar couldn't accept it. It didn't register to him as a loss. He was simply retreating, and it wasn't over. He'd continue it at his own leisure, there wasn't anything to be concerned about. These wounds? Scratches. He was just resting his eyes, he could open his eyes anytime he wanted.
Arcadus wanted to go home. It was a long day and he couldn't feel parts of himself that he was pretty sure of him he should feel. Everything felt like it was in a dream, and as he tried to put a hand forward as he fell towards the ground, he realized he was in shock. Tierra would rush Hiyori, a void of light overtaking her briefly as a fist would try and find its placement on her. Arcadus slammed on the ground, a dust cloud billowing. Using his remaining strength, Arcadus opened a Gargaunta, and pulled himself up and over into his palace, dismissing Tierra once he was safely on the other side.
He would live, he had his zanpakuto, he had his ring, shame about his steel silk. But as it dawned on Arcadus what had happened, what had happened to him, he shut it out. It didn't fit with the world he knew, to be trounced so easily. Staring at his ceiling, Arcadus knew what he had to do. To resolve these problems of weakness, and to elevate himself properly. His options were limited, but the Hollow Plan, or Operation Samsara, had to come to pass. OOC I'm good to call it here and concede to Hiyori
