Thread Title: Bounty Thread Participants: Kitai Yoru, Astrid World: Hueco Mundo Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: You know those times where you do something and immediately regret it? This is one of those times. The fight begins in an uncomfortably moist yellow room, with several hallways leading in different directions. The layout of the building is nonsensical, and everything smells like mildew. There are a few corpses here and there, along with random monsters that sometimes make senses for the location, but more often than not, they're just goofy.
Special Conditions: Kitai is scouting out Las Noches to plan an invasion, one much more devastating than last time. Astrid, however, has taken up Kitai's bounty, and is hunting him down. Should Astrid fail, Kitai will more than likely invade. Unfortunately for both of these idiots, Kitai uses his Interdimensional Doorknob just wrong enough to screw them both over.
Circumstances: Astrid is hunting down a certain Saika, looking to turn his head into the bounty office for that juicy SSS reward, when Kitai decides that he's dealt with one too many fangirls, and decides to use his Doorknob to leave. Chaos ensues.

There were times in his life that Kitai regrets doing something. They were few and far between, and could probably count those regrets with one hand and still have a few fingers to spare. Unfortunately for him, this was one of those times. "WHERE THE FK AM I!?" He yells out, voice not echoing off of the damp yellow walls. If he cared to inspect further, they were covered in wallpaper, the kind that was kind of fuzzy, and had interesting enough patterns on them to go 'yeah, that almost looks good', and ignore them until you died and your kids judged you for your home décor.
He took one step forward, and there was a squishing sound. Looking down, he could see that this place had a shag carpet. One that had absorbed enough water to smell like mildew and depression. He took a wide step away from the area he was just stepping in, and was rewarded with another squish. His eye twitched, his nostrils flared, and he was one stupid thing away from losing his temper. How did this situation come to be, you may ask? Well it's very simple. It all started many moons ago, in a galaxy called, the Milky Way.
Five minutes earlier
Kitai was sitting down at this restaurant in Italy. He wanted something fancy for lunch, and he was banned from France because of a certain Failure. It wasn't his fault she had used him to destroy that city, but that was for another time. He didn't speak a lick of the language, but waving around a stack of money was enough for him to just order everything on the menu, and get him good service. Sure, he was being stared at, but when you were eating twenty pounds of pasta, did it really matter? And, oh look, the waiter was bringing out another plate of noodles, and another full wheel of Parmesan cheese. Life was good.

Name: Muffin Button
Description: This is a muffin of high quality, and is sold in chocolate, blueberry, or Banana. Oddly enough though the muffin seems to bounce some when moved around. This does not however affect the texture or flavor.
Class: 1
Item Type: Combat Tool
Item Power (IP): 1,000
Offense Type: Physical
Durability: 800
Bonuses: As one would expect from the name (and from the buyer of this item) the muffin is self-replicating. This occurs in a few different ways. The first and foremost is that the muffin will produce an additional muffin every post. This base line amount of muffin's created, increases every 3 posts to include an additional muffin. I.E. Post 1 - 1 additional muffin is created. Post 4 - 2 additional muffins are created. Post 7 - 3 additional muffins are created. The alternate method is if the muffin is attacked by something and survives. Regardless of how much IP damage may or may not have occurred (assuming it's not enough to destroy the muffin outright.) will cause the muffin to spawn an additional muffin equal to half the class of the attack, rounded down. Class 1 - 4 muffins. Class 3 - 3 muffins. Class 5 - 2 muffins. Class 7 - 1 muffin.
So, you may be wondering what the point of these muffins are if they can self-replicate. The goal is twofold. The first is to create barricades of muffins. Muffins that will (hopefully) not be destroyed by an attack. This is especially useful as the muffins do not allow attacks to pass through them unless they have higher IP than the item. So, shockwaves for example do not have the means of phasing through "Muffin armor" if it's 1000 OS or less. The second is to produce muffins that for a small reiatsu cost explode and cause all nearby muffins to explode.
The original muffin explodes at the IP of the item but can only be done 3 times in a thread. The copy muffins use 80% of the IP. The original muffin being exploded does not count against the thread count for NDE threads nor does is destroy the muffin in DP / DE. This is because unlike the copies, the original will reform in 2 posts after the explosion it sets off. This post count increases when the muffin reforms by 1 post. So, the second explosion has a 3-post cooldown. The 3rd and final explosion has a 4-post cooldown. These cooldown posts start the post following the muffins detonation. The explosive radius of these muffins is 10 feet each. And the more muffins that are within that 10-foot radius of the initial blast create subsequent blasts that increase the radius by 5 feet per additional muffin detonated.
Drawbacks:
Muffin's also have low durability effectively guaranteeing that if an attack passes through the IP necessary to damage, they could reasonably be destroyed entirely.
Copied muffins take the full IP damage of an attack so long as it passes the thresh hold to damage them.
Unironically the best way to defeat the muffins is by taking a bite out of them. If a muffin has a bite taken out of them or are just eaten whole by something, they act like normal muffins.
The muffins do not have a cap. And should the original muffin be destroyed; the remainder will become standard muffins.
The user can be injured by the muffin's exploding if they are within the explosive radius. Also, to explode a muffin of any kind is 50 reiatsu per muffin. When used to explode other muffins the additional reiatsu cost is deducted from the user for every muffin detonated.
The original muffin uses its full IP for power of the explosion. Meanwhile the copy muffins use 80% of the IP for damage. In addition the main muffin can only explode up to 3 times a thread. The cooldown starts at 2 posts and goes up to 4 posts depending on how many times the main muffin has exploded.

Astrid slammed the door to Kitai's shop open, throwing it off of its hinges. A glance at the door showed that this likely wasn't the first, nor would it be the last time it happened. It certainly wasn't the last time Astrid would do it. Namely because she continued to slam open most doors on "accident". She did have a secret pleasure in destroying doors, but Kitai's was one of the only one that didn't completely break. Something she was trying to rectify. Still upon looking within the shop it slowly dawned upon her that there was something wrong here. It was. . . empty. Sort of. Usually, the shop owner was always present, whether through the cameras or the floorboards. Maybe even in some of the items they sold. Yet something was off, like he wasn't present. And then came in what could only be them. The man in question, straight jacket, grey hair, an obnoxious personality, and worse yet, more of themselves. Another pair looking completely identical appeared and it suddenly dawned upon Astrid because the store felt off.
They were fakes. The real one wasn't present. Couldn't have been. Yet it was almost surreal seeing so many copies of the man. Even as they walked by her, groaning and complaining about how yet again the door was destroyed. Something else about cheese and even going so far as to curse out the original Kitai. The one at the counter finally got tired of seeing Astrid staring in surprise and caught her attention by throwing a chain of something eerily close to Hell near her. Using it to smack against itself in order to make a sound loud enough to catch her attention. She turned her head back to the current Kitai managing the register who was grumbling something under his breath about Astrid and her not even attempting to purchase anything yet. . . including the door. He slouched onto his hand and leaned onto an elbow lazily looking her back. Astrid decided to ignore the other two grumbling morons for the one who decided to get her attention. She stood over him as he sat on a mat and looked up at her. "What'll it be . . . . well I'd call you ma'am if you actually looked like a woman. But you my dear look more like a protein whore, like the rest of those muscle bound idiots."
Astrid didn't even hesitate to destroy the register by flinging it into the wall and embedding it as damaged money slowly fell out of it. The clone didn't even seem phased as if he'd seen this happen a thousand times prior. Hell if anything his vacant eyes looked as though they were begging Astrid to fight him. "I will break your fucking spi-" The clone yawned and even gave a dry chuckle to Astrid. "Oh no, I've NEVER heard that one before. Listen toots, get some new material. You aren't the only one who threatens me. Nor are you going to be able to do anything to me. You're simply a weak bitch. Tried and true. So don't act like you're the one making the rules in THIS shop." Astrid very nearly released on the spot if only to rip out the clone's jaw but found it within herself to instead immediately begin to choke him out. For whatever reason this did seem to surprise him, enough so that he didn't even try to resist initially given.
Meanwhile Astrid was using every fiber of her being to collapse his throat and found it strangely resilient despite hearing cracks and grinding sounds. Astrid's eyes narrowed as she realized that to truly snap his neck would take far longer than she preferred and thus needed to do something else. It took a moment for her to consider what she should do instead and in the meantime the clone now up to speed with the current situation began to make a low moaning sound as his neck wouldn't collapse. "H-harder. . . A shame. . . You can't. . . HAH! Looks like those protein shake. . . GAH Didn't help you out . . . DID THEY?! HahahahaHAHA! . . . ACK" *pop* The clone's eyes widened as he hit euphoria. On accident, Astrid had just fixed the crack in his neck that had been plaguing him for the past couple weeks. And from the expression alone it looked like it was the best thing to happen to them. This only further spurned Astrid's anger as she let one hand go from his neck and used the other arm to throw the clone into a stacked up pile of cellphones.
Watching this in the background were the two other clones who'd already fixed up the door and were now just eating popcorn. It seemed that they too were pretty unphased and were just enjoying the spectacle. Going to so far as to whisper what were likely bets on who would win. Assuming their fellow clone fought back in any capacity. The other seemed less than inclined to do such as Astrid pounced on them and began wailing onto his skull. "AH MY BEAUTIFUL FACE! IF ONLY YOU DIDN'T HIT LIKE A GIRL! HAHAHAHA! KEEP GOING SHE BITCH! AT THIS RATE MAYBE YOU'LL MAKE ME EVEN MORE STUNNING!" The two clones watching shrugged and nodded at one another as the idea wasn't completely far off. If it could happen to Squidward, it could happen to a fellow clone surely. The taunts continued to drive Astrid furious with anger as she tried method after method of attempting to brutally injure the clone before her. Throwing him into the walls. Using the glass of the window and light bulbs. Electrocuting him. Bending the clone in unholy shapes such as a pretzel.
This went on for a solid 30 minutes before Astrid finally realized she was getting nowhere. The clone had a bloody nose, a few broken fingers, bruises, and one knocked out front tooth. The most "harm" she'd really inflicted was his swollen shut eye and that wasn't even because of her directly. His own chain had slammed into himself and cut into it in the process. As Astrid held him at arms length like a stick he sighed and spoke again. Surprisingly calm all things considered. "Listen as fun as this is, I'm a VEEEERY busy man. And you've damaged . . mmmm. . . I guess it's MY Shop atm. Sure, MY SHOP in the process. If you aren't buying something get The FucK OUT! If you are, then hurry up and get what you want. I don't have all day to humor moneyless pyramid schemes." Astrid rolled her eyes, by this point having become well acquianted with the "choice words" this spoke. She threw him directly through the nearest wall and felt only a modicum of joy hearing nothing but a deep sigh from the clone. Maybe even a "Fucking Finally." if she were listening, which SHE WASN'T.
A glance to the two remaining clones who were now on their own cellphones and she remembered why she was ACTUALLY here in the first place. She stomped up to them and they both glanced at her while they were watching a video. Something with a cat and spain. Astrid without really any patience left grabbed the phone, broke it and then threw the remainder at the new hole in the wall. Both clones groaned as their heads leaned backwards. "FIIIIIIINE what do you want? Now that we're READILY AVAILABLE and totally NOT watching a cat make a paella and crying in the process. How can WE help YOU~" So much fake retail worker bled off every word it highly tempted Astrid to try to break both of their necks also. But she needed to find the real Kitai and BREAK HIS FUCKING NECK IF HE DIDN'T GIVE HER WHAT SHE WANTED. She grunted and pulled out a card. It was completely white on the front and have black and silver etching on the backside. It was surprisingly well kept all things considered. What was not however were the words that flashed on the white front. "I. O. U. W. I. P. With love, Kitai P.S. Fuck you for getting this commisioned while on sale. Last time I do a sale EVER again."
One clone paled as they quickly figured why Astrid was actually here and started chuckling weakly. "L-listen my dear dear Astrid, perhaps we can ahhhh figure something out? WE aren't Kitai so it wouldn't even be worth it to say what you likely want to say to us. Buuuuut we can tell you where he's at! And specifically to!" The other clone shook its head rapidly as it caught on to what the former was thinking. And what was likely going to be said by Astrid. They immediately spoke up before Astrid even had the chance to say or grunt at them. "Yeah exactly! That jerk decided to take the Doorknob to Italy for lunch. Without us! Can you believe it? The land of all that is cheesy goodness and he left us here! The audacity!" The clones almost started bickering over that point when their argument was broken by Astrid yelling at them both.
"The FUCK's an "Italy"?!" The two didn't seem to know how to respond. Whether it was out of surprise, horror, or something else was anyone's guess. However, one did immediately pull out a map from their left straitjacket fold and opened it before Astrid. A massive crayon red circle over the city specifically in Italy. Astrid looked it over, visibly confused as to what in the nine circles she was looking at. One of the clones caught on quickly and immediately point a finger to the country of Italy. "It's the big plot of land that looks like a lady's boot. But more importantly, it's the birthplace of Pizza! And even MORE importantly, the birthplace if Parmesan. Oh, my precious, sweet, delicious Parmesan, how I miss you so. These commonplace, store bought FAKES will never compare to the delicate richness of homemade, Italian parmesan. Oh, they could never recrea-"[/color] Astrid was finally on her last goddamn straw of sanity. Which was impressive considering Astrid didn't have that quality in spades anyway. AND YET, these clones had eroded it away into near nothing.
Astrid yelled out in rage and tore up the map. She immediately casted a sigil on the ground, threw the maps remains on it and willed it with every fiber of her being to go to this "Italy". As if it had a life to fear the sigil immediately created a sphere that rended space into a human sized tear out across the street from the original Kitai TM. He looked like he was in bliss whereas Astrid was losing the collective mind of every spirit she had within herself as she heard them begin to call for his head as well as the dreaded word. She immediately walked through and shut the portal closed behind her stopping any questions that could have spawned from the gaggle of clones and immediately stomped over to Kitai, running into and through cars in the process and glaring daggers at him. But the worst part? She immediately yelled out the one thing she'd been wanting to scream for the past hour. To the only person in that collective waste of space known as the a "shop". Words Serenity herself had cautioned her to use sparingly. "KITAI!!!! I WANT A GODDAMN REFUND!!!

Oh it was a slice of heaven for the Hellion. The food was to die for here. The other customers were appalled by how much he was eating, his stomach literally being bottomless, but he couldn't care less. In fact, just to screw with them a bit, he used a bit of Soul Command to fuse the ends of the spaghetti he was eating, and started slurping down the mega noodle as if he were in a cartoon. He was ten seconds into the plate, and halfway through the dish, before tragedy struck. He lost concentration, and the pile of noodles exploded. He lost concentration... Because of her.
He didn't know how she got here, but the sound of cars swerving into one another was the kind of thing that tended to got you to turn your head to look. And a sinking feeling filled his infinite stomach faster than any amount of food ever could. Because she was someone he immediately recognized. Not for her status, not for her wealth, not even for her looks. No, he recognized her for the fact that she decided to put a down payment on something he hadn't gotten around to making yet. That feeling of dread warmed over, and was quickly replaced by a bubbling anger.
A refund. A refund!? His brow twitched in annoyance, before looking like it was having a full-on seizure. "A refund!?" He yelled out, getting up from his seat so fast his chair went flying backwards. He reached into his jacket pocket, and threw a stack of Italian bills at the waiter who had been serving him. "I tried three times to make your f#%king card, and every time you said you didn't want it!" And now he was dealing with another angry woman in a city outside of Japan. His mind, as angry as it was, couldn't help for flashback to France.
"I asked for what you wanted the card to do, and you said you didn't know! I offered to have it undo your death, and you didn't want it! Do you even know how esoteric the actual meaning behind the card is!?" He was digging around in another pocket, looking for something else now. "And you even had the gall, the sheer audacity to buy a Tarot Card during a holiday discount! Who does that!? You cheapen the legitimacy of it, you emptyheaded, thoughtless streetwalker!" He threw his arms in the air, with a doorknob appearing in his very clenched right hand.
"And now you have the nerve to show up halfway through my lunchbreak, and are threatening this country with enough violence to make France blush!" He stomped on the floor, causing a slab of rock and wood to shoot up from ground. He pressed the knob against it. "F#%k you! F#& your refund! And, you know what, I'm invading your sorry a$$." He couldn't actually remember what faction Astrid was with. Was it Hell? Didn't she claim to be a hollow or something thought? Whatever, he was leaving. Hopefully no one with teleportation abilities tried to interrupt the Interdimensional Doorknob in the middle of activation.

Astrid could feel her temper flaring, namely because she started to hear the spirits within her flaring up and beginning to scream with her mind. If she wasn't careful, she'd lose herself to them. But frankly, at this point she was fucking BEGGING to do so. Fuck this cheap secondhand waste of a hellion who couldn't even make her a fucking playing card. She growled out as she picked up a car and threw it into another car because it had the audacity to move closer to her. She then screamed out to Kitai interrupting his own yelling fit. "YOU WERE OFFERING WHAT I ALREADY COULD DO YOU FUCK! Why in ANY realm would I spend shining rocks to do the SAME THING again!?! I paid you rocks so that it was USEFUL not a waste of space! Also, what in the fuck is a "SALE"? If you didn't want to sell it for so fucking cheap that's YOUR damn fault not mine! I can't even fucking read!"
"And don't act like you're the one whose losing their goddamn mind right now. You're fucking copies can't be asked to do their job. Just like YOU they're fucking hacks! The best thing you can do is steal from others! You may as well return to Greed considering how LITTLE you actually do besides scamming others!" Astrid watched as a doorknob made its way into his hands. She couldn't actually tell what the purpose of such a thing was. But it became readily clear once he ended up creating a "door" of sorts out of the earth itself. Astrid's eyes narrowed and she immediately threw out a sigil of her own at the opposite side of the door. Fuck you. Fuck your shop. FUCK THIS COUNTRY. AND ABSOLUTELY GO FUCK YOURSELF RIGHT BACK TO HELL KITAI! Astrid immediately willed the sigil to return to Hell. The sigil began to glow a dark red as the image enlarged to show a realm of poisonous crystals, rocks, and every expensive and notable gem, jewel, or metal known and unknown to man.
There was only one issue with all of this. . . Kitai was also using an interdimensional object. And even Astrid knew that when you mixed two different means of opening doors or pathways across the realms shit hit the fan very fast. But like most times Astrid wasn't thinking that deeply given she was beyond done with Kitai and his minions and was NOT leaving without her refund. It didn't help that she had started running over to Kitai to attempt to grapple him from the door he was trying to create which meant both Kitai and Astrid were beyond fucked the moment the doorknob tried to open a door to somewhere else. Her sigil and his doorknob's reiatsu melded. Then went dull. Then grew excessively bright. And the earthen wall cracked as the two fought one another before growing dark orange. When Astrid, and presumably Kitai looked at the door that was breaking down, before them it opened to a space between worlds. Literally a world with doors upon doors upon doors upon doors. And without much fanfare the two were immediately sucked into it by the very reiatsu they used to create their means of dimensional hopping.
Orange tendrils of reiatsu wrapped around both Astrid and Kitai and threw them around the room. Through door, after door, after door. Going through a two-dimensional world. Then a cartoon world. Then a cheese world. Then Candy Land. They even went through a world that looked eerily similar to their own but felt distinctly lacking in spiritual energy at all. And then finally they got flung through yet another door and found themselves into a space that looked like a continuously expanding series of rooms. Musty, molding somewhat, and with stains on the floor, ceiling and walls. The air was stale and was seemed like it had never left these rooms. On one side of the first room was Kitai and on another was Astrid both flat on their faces. Or in Astrid's case face flat into the wall, she'd been thrown into. She was literally one iota away from just releasing and mauling Kitai to death at this point. He was SUCH a goddamn nuisance. In every definition of the word. And the WORST PART was that she'd find him again at some point. Marik constantly spoke of him. She'd never escape him if she tried.
There was a part of her that was mildly concerned about leaving this realm but before she'd do that, she WAS going to kick Kitai's ass or get her refund. Or both frankly. She pulled her head out of the wall, stood up, and glared at Kitai waiting for him to get up. Well "waiting" is a strong word. She immediately insulted him as she started growling at him. "Way to fucking go Kitai, now look where you threw us. Some backwards fuck all place and it's all your goddamn fault. Invade wherever you want but don't fucking run away when your fuck ups come to bite you in the ass! Italy was a perfectly good place to destroy! The fucking Vatican was just down the street!" Her eyes narrowed heavily at Kitai, against all odds she wanted to see what he'd do first. How he'd lash out. She knew he was going to at this point. There was no way he wouldn't. And she was going to punch his skull into his fucking face if she could help it to make sure he got the fucking point across that HE fucked up.

And there it was. The crowning achievement, the peak, the pinnacle that would never be surmounted for the rest of his days. The absolute dumbest thing that had and ever will happen to him for the rest of his days. Dis b%tch had an ability to open portals to other worlds, and she had used it on him the moment he used his Doorknob. "You've got to-" He didn't even get to finish his words, as the world around him twisted in on itself, pulling him through the intersecting portals, with Astrid being violently pulled as well, slamming into him as the two tumbled through time and space.
The Doorknob flavored the portals, framing the gateway to each separate world, showing them things beyond imagination. A world where there were only two dimension, a world of living cartoons... And then Heaven. He got to see it for the briefest of moments, a flash upon his eyes, but he could almost feel time slow down for him. The world was filled with nothing but Cheese! The grass was shaved cheddar, the trees were mozzarella sticks, park benches were pizza slices, the fountains were fondue! The cobblestone path were little cheese wheels, the sky was filled with yellow clouds! THIS WAS THE PERFECT WORLD! He thrashed about, reaching for the ground, a desperate attempt to stay here, to live here... But reality was cruel, as the moment ended, and the two slammed against the ground, and were flung into a nightmare.
It was candy land. Of all the places,IT JUST HAD TO BE CANDY LAND! He swallowed a dark rage at the sight, grasping onto his Doorknob just that much tighter. He couldn't be stuck here, HE COULDN'T! And thankfully, they didn't, bouncing along and through the second Hell he had been forced to bear witness to. The second to last felt like nothing. Like a void of anything. It looked normal, somehow too realistic, but he could feel a lack of anything, even with his cripplingly low energy sensory. Like an entire world void of reiatsu.
And then he slammed face first into some drywall.
One pull, two, then the third was what let him dislodge his head from the too yellow wall. He flopped to the floor, before getting to his feet with a desperate sense of urgency. He looked like a man possessed, pressing his Doorknob to the damaged wall. He pressed it to the wall, and what once would have responded with a subtle golden gleam, now made a fart noise. "No no no..." He said to himself, like a man possessed, nearly slamming the useless hunk of metal into the wall. "I was there, I was right there!" He said, trying anything to reopen a portal back to his heaven. "Just send me back to-" And then his ear caught the tail end of Astrid's ranting. "-Italy was a perfectly good place to destroy! The fucking Vatican was just down the street!" And then something in his mind broke.
Kitai's head snapped to face the former Hellion, the cracking of his neck auditable. His eye was twitching furiously as he glared at the woman. "You don't know what money or Italy is, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT THE F&CK THE VATICAN IS ENOUGH TO HATE IT!?" A blood vessel broke, as his other eye went red. "I'M GONNA GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT!" Doorknob flung to the side, Kitai leapt at Astrid, as the destructive aura of Wrath coated his body in a bloody red silhouette, his hand grasping out to wrap around her throat. And so help her if he managed to catch her, because rational thought was tossed out the window.
Darkskill lvl 1: 5,500 Mark of Sin: Wrath: 250 Total Reiatsu Remaining: 14,250
{Mark of Sin: Wrath} Mark of Sin: Wrath Mastered Technique Name: Mark of Sin: Wrath
Class: [2]
Technique Type: [General Sinner techniques]
Usable By: [Hell Races]
Technique Element: [Physical]
Technique Description and Effects: [Being stuck in the bad end of the afterlife tends to bring out of some of the more negative aspects of the soul. One of seven that can be concentrated and brought forth in a physical form. This manifests as a mark on the body. For Wrath, this mark is branded on the inside of the right forearm. When activated, the user gives into their rage and anger, showing their hate for the world. Their bodies burn with a power they normally wouldn't be able to muster up. Anything that comes into contact with their bodies at this time will be damaged and burnt from the raw power they're letting off. Even brief interactions with the user in this state can melt skin. Lasts two posts.
Their body burns with the power of their original highest offensive stat, destroying anything with less than three quarters of it, and blocking anything above that. Attacks with a higher offensive stat will be undamaged.]
How to use technique: [User gives into their emotion, becoming the embodiment of Wrath, losing the ability to strategize. Costs 250 reiatsu.]
Technique Drawbacks: [The user must give into their emotion in order to use this ability, severely limiting their ability to think coherently, let alone form strategies. They can still use abilities, but not in any tactical way. After the ability ends, the user is left fatigued, their body not able to maintain full power afterward. Physicals are halved. Cooldown, 5 posts.]
{Darkskill Level 1}Dark Skill Level 1 Property:] [The first stage of his release allows him to create gigai-like bodies for him to enter and use as he sees fit. In order to create a body, Kitai must spend 25% of his current reiatsu, but must spend at least 250 in order to use the technique. The strength and durability of the bodies is based off the amount of reiatsu Kitai has used during the thread. For every 100 reiatsu Kitai has used in the thread, it will increase the strength, speed, and durability by 10. Each body comes with a 300 to start in all three of these stats. If the user has physical stats higher than the base 300, their starting physical stat or stats will be changed to that higher number. The highest the physical stats the body can have 1000.
The strength of the body is a sort of false one. While the bodies themselves are strong, it is merely a tool, not truly living so to speak. While a real body would be able to handle such strength and speed, this one cannot. And like all tools, they have a breaking point. Those wearing the body will find themselves unable to use main benefits that high physical stats would normally grant. The benefits of having high strength are forever lost to the user, unless they already had them before putting on the Gigai.
Much like a tool, once the body uses too much power, it begins to quickly wear out. The max output a body can use varies on the user. The bodies are based on the user, and thus match their max potential, even if the bodies themselves should be stronger. A user with 50 strength or speed, can only ever make the bodies reach 150 strength or speed. If someone had 400 in strength or speed, they would be able to bring out the full potential of the bodies, and reach 1000 in either stat.
However, like any machine, running at full power causes a reaction in the bodies. The body, and by extension the user, have no issues with stamina of any kind after this point, never running out after it breaks its limits for the first five post, using a sort of Hysterical Strength to force itself to keep going. After the five posts will drain stamina like normal. Normally a body can last indefinitely, but for every post the user pushes their physical stats past their limits no further than double their base stats, it drains a post, while over that pushes it by two posts. The body has ten of these posts before it dies, ejecting the user of it from the maimed corpse. Hitting 1000 in either stat will cost the bodies two posts, regardless of the the user's base stats.
The creation of the body is instant, forming around Kitai if he so chooses, or in his hand. Bodies can be exited at any time the wearer pleases. The only oddities that make the body stand out from normal humans is that the first stage of a Dark Skill will still shine through, and the chains on their soul will still appear on the new body, but otherwise, the body will be have an appearance of whatever Kitai wishes it to look like. Size of the bodies follows the strength rules for sizes.
So long as the body is worn, Hell has a much harder time finding him. For every three posts that a Saika is in the body, the count on the duration of his escape will go down by one for every three posts they make. Can start a thread with a body for an additional 500 reiatsu of the base cost, without activating his dark skill. Any damage the body takes is not fully transferred to him. Damage is reduced by fifty percent, and attacks that would kill the body will eject the soul before it can be damaged too much. Fatal damage done to the body will be reduced to the point of just barely avoiding death. The body cannot heal via the normal Saika regeneration, but his soul underneath is still able to. The healing done to the soul will not transfer to the body. Once he exits a body, the stats will be reset to how it was before he entered the body. After a body is destroyed or dies, it goes onto a three post cooldown before he can create another one. This does not count as a stat boosting technique. If a body is healed, Kitai will not be healed.

Astrid growled loudly as the voices in her mind screamed ever louder. She could barely process what was being said to her but that didn't matter if he she struggled to make out the words. She knew what his body spoke, and she saw what he did. He was going to fight her and try to kill her. So be it, Astrid finally let the voices take over and she screamed out in turn with them. "Arise, Uayt Koroleva!" Astrid's form immediately exploded as black and white flames consumed her entirety leaving a white mold fungus to fill in the parts of her body that weren't just charred bone. Connective tissues were replaced by mycelia and her hands and feet were replaced with claws that not only had serrated edges but sharpened points for tips. Her face immediately contorted into warped animalistic fury, and she roared out a scream that sounded like humans, beasts, and other unholy creatures from Hell all mixed together.
"NOT IF I RIP OUT YOUR FUCKING SPINE! RRRAAAAGAGHHHHHH!!" Astrid's only thoughts revolved around killing him. Absolutely sending Kitai back to the very circles that he crawled his sorry ass out of and thus as Kitai leapt towards her Astrid ran forward towards him. However, where Kitai likely expected Astrid do avoid him or even try to dodge by moving one to either side of him, she leapt under him and rolled. But it wasn't normal by any fucking stretch. Her bones and fungus crunched, rolled, and made itself into a cylinder as she literally rolled herself under his body. Then as he was passing over her body, she unwound her body and threw out her fist. It was flooded with reiatsu as the mycelia was glowing dark orange and within a moment Kitai would feel before he could see what she'd done.
Using her right hand, she let out not just a punch, not a few punches, but 30 punches across every inch of his body. From foot to head, and everything in between she threw out these punches that all slammed into his body at the same time. There was no doubt his form would have suffered heavy damage from the many punches and thus produce the disgusting sounds of crunching and shattering for most if not all the bones in his body. From there he'd find himself flung into the ceiling above and maybe through several more levels up until a point. As Kitai would make his way through floor after floor, Astrid saw his chains still on the ground near her. She then willed out a pair of spirits to assist her, conjuring her tried and true helper Samson along with a saika in flaming armor, a shield, and sword. She then conjured up bone gauntlets to across her arms, thick and heavy as she knew the fucking chains would bite into her. Least they would if they had been Astrids.
Then using all their combined strength and cutting not only into Astrid's gauntlets, but the hands and armor of the saika and Samson, they all began to pull Kitai's chains and by proxy him from wherever her was above them. Astrid screamed up towards his chains as she felt his body moving back down. "COWARD! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!" Assuming the collective group dragged kitai back down from the higher levels and slammed him into the floor she'd immediately let go of the chains and start running towards him at full speed. Samson behind her and the flaming saika in front of her. She had every intent to pummel kitai through the ground if she'd not already done so. If there was a floor beneath them and Kitai was slammed through the floor she'd jump down to follow him. The moments in between finding her form slowly shifting some as she looked to be growing bigger in every dimension, assuming Kitai could even tell. I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOKILLHIM!I'MGOINGTOFUCKINGKILLHIM!!!
This technique is similar in nature to the shinigami Thousand Fangs technique or the general populace Fifty Thrusts technique. A barrage of hits in a short time to achieve the goal of wearing down an opponent. However, unlike the aforementioned techniques, Shotgun Slam puts more focus on the Power behind the barrage as well limiting the cumulative number of hits so that they can all be achieved in very nearly the same instance. Effectively speed is needed up to a point but with less total attacks the attacks than its companions it instead put more emphasis put into each attack made. And thus replicate a shotgun using buckshot where multiple shots will hit a target at relatively the same time.
It should be noted that this technique cannot be used with a weapon that isn't a limb or a natural weapon. I.E. Claws/tails/wings as an example. With the exception of things like Brass Knuckles or similar weapons that make one's fists deadlier without being akin to a dagger.
Mechanically speaking this technique has the user increase their speed of the attack equal the users base Strength stat while increasing the power behind the attacks produced by 2x their strength. In addition, this technique limits how many attacks the user can produce depending on their mastery level. At learned only 10 attacks can be produced. At Proficient 20 attacks can be produced. At Mastered 30 attacks can be produced. Attacks produced via this attack come out in a spread and thus start out with a range of 5 feet in total distance. This increases by 5 feet for every level above learned, capping at 15 feet.
How to Use:
Flood the muscles/limb with reiatsu, flex said limb, and then let loose.
Drawbacks:
Has a cap of how many times this can be used in a post. At Learned and Proficient this is once a post. Mastered is twice a post. Limbs that used this technique lose 25% of their speed and strength for the next post. If the technique is used while this debuff is active it increases to 50%. If used again, the limb in question is considered useless as the bones are shattered and muscles torn asunder.
Incredibly limited in what weapons can use this technique otherwise it is solely limited to an individual's body. Cannot be used in conjunction with speed increasing techniques. Strength boosting techniques (Impact) do not change the base speed or power behind this technique.
600 strength is needed to learn this technique and go to proficient. 800 strength is needed to master this technique.
Distorted Growth* Technique Class: 3
Technique Type: Physical / Spiritual
Usable By: Astrid
Technique Element: Flesh
Description:
Distorted Growth is the first in the series of Way of the Flesh Warper. It should be noted that this is a not a martial series for everyone as the basis of this fighting style is because of one's natural or supernatural means to generate flesh/bone/blood/etc. Thus, to begin learning this style the user must gain or otherwise activate High Speed Regeneration. Once this is done Distorted Growth can finally be used. Distorted Growth is "simple" in what it does. This technique once learned, allows the user to warp their body by shifting flesh from one limb to another.
The first noticeable benefit it allows is the user to have hyper flexibility of their body. Shifting, contorting, and otherwise bending in ways that should not be physically possible. Such as bending their spine backwards and under their legs. Or pulling up their leg diagonally and wrapping it around themselves. Effectively if the user desires their body to move or contort in a direction, the body is capable of doing so with minimal if any consequences. This allows for one of the most important facets of this particular style of fighting. Otherwise seemingly erratic and "impossible" feats using just one's own body. The higher the skill points in Way of the Flesh Warper, the more eccentric the means an individual can move their body. Mastering this technique allows the user to act as though they have an additional point in Way of the Flesh Warper. This can bring a 3 to 4 so long as they know and have mastered at least 3 other Way of the Flesh Warper techniques. Until then it can only boost the user to a 3.
With regards to shifting one's flesh to another limb this is a bit more difficult and can only be done on a temporary basis until this technique is mastered. In essence the limb in question gains additional muscle mass and is able to grow in size up to an additional 5 feet in all directions for every limb's flesh used for this. Limbs with additional muscle to them are able to flex against attacks easier and gain a durability stat that actively reduces harm done to the user on that limb. The durability is equal to half the user's strength stat.
There is another benefit to reinforcing one's limbs this way. Damage imposed on an item, object, or being with a durability stat takes an additional 50% more damage upon impact. This occurs from the excessive force that can be exerted by the limb in question. This also extends to the user's shockwaves produced by this limb if the user can create them.
How to Use:
Activate one's HSR if it is not already. Then channel reiatsu throughout the body. From there essentially flex the body to shift in the manner you desire. The body will follow thereafter.
Drawbacks:
First and foremost a body cannot survive using this technique for long if HSR is not active or present. This is because naturally pushing flesh from one part to another or bending/contorting it in directions it's not inherently supposed to is painful and damaging. Thus no one without HSR in even a temporary fashion can learn this technique series.
The user also must have a pain tolerance to endure this in a fight. A 2 is required until Proficient. A 1 is required until Mastered. Additionally, the maximum speed the body can move while warped in an unnatural manner is 80% of its speed and with 80% of its power. This is reduced to 90% at Proficient and is removed at Mastered.
Limbs where flesh was taken from have 50% less durability. And thus, can be broken or harmed more easily. They also cannot flex or produce shockwaves. Hyper extended limbs so long as they are cut at the joints are 25% easier to cut specifically. But harm to them is 10% easier. I.E. attacks against them depending on the manner of attack are stronger against the user.
Benign Growth* Technique Class: 3
Technique Type: Physical
Usable By: Astrid
Technique Element: Flesh
Description:
This technique is exactly what you think it is. This technique is where the Path of the Flesh Warper begins to live up to its name. With this technique the user gains the means to grow different body parts on their body regardless of their biology. For example, a user could generate a mouth filled with fangs on their neck. They could generate a tail from their shoulder or tentacles from their palms or feet. Essentially, they can conjure up additional body parts upon command by having their HSR create them. Obviously, this means additional organs are a no go. Including non-vitals such as the eyes, ears, nose, etc. But flesh, bone, skin, viscera? Those are all fair game.
Now the way this works is that for every post this technique is active the user gains 5 feet of flesh they can use. Upon the initial use of this technique, they gain 10 feet worth of flesh. This numerical value is a vague reference of the maximum size of a single limb that can be produced at that moment. This can of course be split between several limbs if the user desires. Here is a list of general limbs that this technique can create though this is not all inclusive, should something not be here its closest variant can be referenced and costs of flesh used:
Mouths/Jaws: 1 foot of flesh
Skulls: 3-5 feet of flesh/bone
Tails: 5 feet minimum, can be as long as the user desires.
Wings: 5 feet minimum per wing. Caps at 15 per wing.
Tendrils: 3 feet minimum, can be as long as the user desires.
Torso / Ribcage: 5 feet minimum and can be up to 15 feet maximum.
A couple things to note. 1. As all additional limbs/body parts are created from the user they use Strength when interacting with a clash or an attack. 2. These are considered extensions of the user and can use techniques the originator could use. So long as the body part in question can use it. This requires the technique to be Proficient for techniques up to class 3. And Mastered for techniques up to class 1. 3. These limbs do not benefit from HSR; however, they can be "regenerated" so long as the user has enough flesh to recreate it again. I.E. the pay the flesh cost again.
How to Use:
Focus reiatsu on the body part in question and visualize what you want it to become. Let the body's regenerative capabilities create what you envision. From there use it as you see fit.
Drawbacks:
Each body part costs 50 reiatsu for each foot of flesh used to create it. Big limbs become very expensive very quickly.
Having more than 6 limbs or using 30 feet of flesh is considered tiring. Such as moving above 600 speed constantly. Limbs cannot flex defend against attacks. Limbs also transfer on contact effects to Astrid if the enemy has such a power.
Flesh cannot be regenerated by HSR. Must spend more flesh gained via this technique to remake. Cannot use techniques until Proficient or Mastered. Must have learned Distorted Growth. Requires a 2 in Way of the Flesh Warper
Osteomorph* Technique Class: 2
Technique Type: Physical
Usable By: Astrid / Regenerative users
Technique Element: Bone
Description:
Osteomorph is the next step for those who follow the path of Flesh Warping. Where the previous techniques have been dedicated to manipulating the flesh of the user this technique goes deeper and focuses on the skeleton of the individual. As HSR still targets the user's bones this allows for advanced applications of body warping that aren't normally possible. With this technique the user gains the means to grow bones out of their body or through it in order to produce weapons, attack, defend, etc. Effectively becoming what the technique is named after an "Osteomorph" or monster of bone. Each level of mastery with this technique allows for different aspects of the user to manifest. For learned the effects are fairly simple. The user can grow spikes of bones from within themselves and can even fire said spikes from themselves. These spikes can manifest from the arms and legs. Hands and feet included. These spikes can grow as big as 2 feet long and have no edges, simply pointed tips. Once produced these spikes cannot be moved or manipulated beyond moving the limb they are attached to with the exception of firing them off. Firing off the spikes is however crude and even the strongest individuals can only shoot them a maximum of 30 feet at a speed of 500. Spikes created have a strength and durability equal to the user's Strength stat and are considered class 4 in terms of clashing.
At Proficient is where this technique becomes more exciting. For one thing bones can be grown in any manner the user chooses. Curved, twisted, uniform, segmented, it's all up to the user. In addition, the bones can even be made brittle to allow them to shatter upon impact with an object and fire out bone shards akin to shrapnel. Bones produced can also be removed at will and qualify as weapons that use the Way of the Flesh Warper skill to determine one's capabilities with them. Lastly so long as a bone is segmented the user can flex the weapon around, so long as it's attached to their body. Fine movement cannot be achieved but simple motions are possible. Brittle bones have half the durability of standard bones. Bones created are considered class 3 at this level. Bone shards move at a speed of 400 upon impact and spikes fired out now move at 600 speed.
Finally, at Mastered the user becomes a true monster. Normal bones gain a 25% durability increase as well as can be shifted and manipulated around the body at will once produced. I.E. A user can create a spike from their chest and then shift said spike harmlessly to their backside. This occurs at the users base speed. The forms of all bones created are up to the user's discretion. Lastly for 50% the cost the user can create incredibly dense bones that have 2x the user's durability making them excellent shielding against attacks. Sadly, dense bones like these can only defend and thus cannot be made into offensive weapons in any capacity. These bones must remain attached to the user like armor or clothing and can cover up to two limbs per payment. They also cannot be moved once created. As for bone spikes and bone shrapnel they gain increased speeds at this stage. 700 speed for spikes and 500 for shrapnel. Bones are finally considered class 2.
How to Use:
Channel reiatsu into the bone desired. Direct its growth with a second path of reiatsu. Endure the pain of being impaled from the inside. Prosper.
Drawbacks:
Pain. There is always pain when using this technique. From growing bones to having them be manipulated through the user and tearing through flesh. A minimum of 2 in Pain Tolerance is necessary to use this technique at all.
Must have HSR active to use this technique. Must have Benign Growth at Learned for Learned and Proficient. Must have Benign Growth at Proficient to Master this technique. No fine control of bones attached to the user until Mastered. No bone "weapons" until Proficient. Bones produced by this technique do not benefit from HSR. Until mastered bones created by this technique are always a lower class.
Spikes cost 300 reiatsu per spike. Bone "weapons" cost 400 reiatsu. Shifting bones to other parts of the body costs 100 reiatsu. Creating Brittle Bones is 100 reiatsu cheaper. Shrapnel from the bones can injure the user. Dense bones are 50% more expensive and cannot be used for offense.
Legionnaires Sigil+ Technique Class: Class 2
Technique Type: Spiritual
Usable By: Arrancar
Technique Element: Sigil
Description:
The Legionnaire's Sigil is a bit of a specialty sigil of Astrid's creation. Upon becoming an arrancar but more specifically a hollow, it was made very apparent that Astrid's soul was warped drastically. Enough so that the majority of the spiritual energy she once possessed had simply been used up. Likely to fuel her new form that was beyond supernaturally powerful by comparison. This . . . did not come without drawbacks. This meant Astrid was now incredibly vulnerable to cutback as her capability to utilize reiatsu is. . . at best. Minimal. And unbeknownst to her Arrancar's resilience to cutback is through the potency of their reiatsu not the quantity. This sigil seeks to correct that given even now Astrid's power is built off of one thing and one thing alone. The raw volume of souls she has consumed and will continue to consume.
Mechanically speaking this technique does one thing. It reverts Astrid back to calculating when she is inflicted with cutback by using her spiritual pressure stat as opposed to her reiatsu strength stat. This technique is a passive effect and cannot be unlearned in any capacity once it has been learned with two exceptions. Sans character death or race change. This technique however is not without its drawbacks. Namely that this technique can be made null and void in a fight if the sigil is heavily damaged. Unlike hason who can inscribe directly onto their souls via sigil magic, Arrancars can at best inscribe sigils onto their bodies for permanent effects. Thus, if the sigils in question are damaged or otherwise removed their effects become null and void. So too is Legionaire's sigil suffer from this. Thus, the user must decide where the sigil will be inscribed with great thought lest it be constantly destroyed.
How to Use:
Inscribe the sigil, chosen by the user, onto their body in an area of their choosing. Flood the sigil with reiatsu and then let the reiatsu burn the sigil into the flesh. From there the sigil will turn black and begin to take effect.
Drawbacks:
Cannot be unlearned sans race change or character death. I.E., this is permanent 90% of the time. If the sigil is damaged severely, half or more of it is gone, the effects are undone. Arrancar will revert to RS for cutback calculation as opposed to SPPR. Upon the sigil being destroyed Ryo must be spent to "heal it" as it is considered a permanent scar. The cost is 2,000 Ryo every time the sigil is "healed". The sigil cannot be healed via HSR in a fight or by another healing technique/power/ability.
Sigil must be specified where it is at on the user's body in their point bank.
{Primera Etapa Info}As mentioned previously Astrid’s ability is to channel through her body a small number of souls to assist her while she combats her enemies. Similar to her previous powers however unlike her previous the spirits can only be up to a maximum distance of 5 feet from her. Typically, they will exist in the same space as Astrid given, they have an ethereal form and thus do not hinder her physical interactions with the world. However, that doesn’t mean that they cannot assist Astrid. In fact, they can interact with the physical world if they so desire or are otherwise commanded/willed by Astrid to do so. More so that they simply do not hinder her ability to interact with the world. It should also be noted that Astrid can interact with the spirits if she chooses.
The spirits also come with abilities that their forms had previously. Examples include if a hollow spirit is created, it can use cero or bala. Or if a quincy is manifested it can generate a bow and arrows. Or shinigami can have a zanpakuto sword. These are however at their most basic. At best this allows for Astrid to manifest beings that had breath weapons and the elements associated with them. I.E. a dragon that can breathe out fire. Effectively, if it’s something the basic spirit could do, those Astrid manifest can also perform the same abilities. As well as abilities that the spirits form would typically allow.
Each spirit is custom built upon being summoned. Astrid, upon releasing, can manifest two spirits for free. Each spirit so long as Primera is active can have a total of 1600 SP and this SP can bypass the 400 caps as the spirits have no types to boost their abilities. Stats are capped at 1000. They can manifest abilities/weakness of high and low stats. I.E. too high in senses makes them weak to sensory abilities. Meanwhile too low of senses means they cannot perceive the world around them. The size limits of the spirits are 20 feet Tall/Wide/Thick in Primera but do not require the minimum strength requirements. Each spirit also comes with its own durability stat. This stat is 2x Astrid’s OS. Upon this being reduced to 0 the spirit vanishes. In Primera Astrid can manifest up to 3 spirits at a time.
To manifest additional spirits costs 500 reiatsu and in addition for every spirit manifested Astrid loses an additional post in release past the first spirit manifest. I.E. Astrid alone while released uses one post from her total. Astrid with 3 spirits uses 3 posts for every post she remains released. Spirits can be dismissed but does not reduce the post counts until the following post as the post count lost is determined by the highest number of spirits Astrid has manifested during that post. It should also be noted that for the sake of clashing against attacks the spirits do not have class. They act as though they are classless. Finally, Astrid can channel spiritual techniques or use physical techniques through the spirits manifested. So long as they have the stats to utilize the techniques in question. Costs are still deducted from Astrid’s reiastu as the spirits have no reiatsu despite having a SPPR stat. Spirits cannot be affected by Cutback as they are released based.
