Technique Name: Reiatsu Transfer: Purifying Kiln
Class: 3
Technique Type: Other
Usable By: All races
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: This technique uses physical contact to deliver a charge of at least 1000 Reiatsu to its victim, and up to half as much Reiatsu at one time as half the user's maximum reserve, injected directly and rampantly into their Chain Link, from which it radiates a clarifying spiritual heat. This heat causes first-degree burns to the victim's internal organs each post, resulting in mind-numbing pain that requires the equivalent of Pain Tolerance 1 for every 1000 reiatsu transferred to the victim (to a maximum of Pain Tolerance 3 required) to avoid becoming sickened by the pain. Every 2 posts that these burns are not healed, if the Chain Link is still heated, they advance in injury by one degree. This technique's effect lasts until the victim sheds or spends all the extra reiatsu provided by the technique; extra reiatsu from this technique sheds from the victim at a rate of 250 per post.
For every 250 reiatsu lost to shedding, the victim also suffers one Chakra Clarity stack. Each Chakra Clarity stack reduces the spiritual density of its victim's reiatsu, making techniques and other reiatsu costs 5% less expensive, to a minimum of 25% of their normal costs. An opponent can purge one Chakra Clarity stack by voluntarily corrupting 5% of their own maximum reiatsu (an act that requires a line of roleplay). Corrupted reiatsu reverses an equal amount of healing that would affect the victim. In most cases, this appears to slow down healing by a factor of twice its percentage severity, but once corrupted reiatsu exceeds 50%, its true nature becomes apparent, causing healing effects to accelerate damage instead of reverse it. When corrupted reiatsu is spent, it damages its user relative to the percentage of their remaining reiatsu the spent reiatsu represented, with body-wide, non-specific injuries that can be up to as severe as third-degree burns and 4-inch deep lacerations over 80% of the body.
How to use technique: Similar to its parent technique, the user makes physical contact with a target and transfers a portion of their own reiatsu to them. Unlike its parent technique, this transfer is made under extreme pressure, with no regard for the "maximum" Reiatsu pool of the target.
Technique Drawbacks: The user must have a maximum of at least 500 Spiritual Pressure and know Reiatsu Transfer: Pressurized Injection before taking this technique. Reiatsu received from this technique can be used normally.
