Seems as though a burger was simply not going to work this time around. She needed to find new lunch, given that whole debacle with her sister had just occurred. Truthfully? She wasn't quite sure where to stand on the matter. For starters, she could've just gone about her time normally and let the whole things just resolve itself, but that didn't sit very well with her. She wanted to be able to talk with her sister more.
Ah, well. There were better places to be worrying about something like this, and frankly? It was taking its toll on her mentally. She just wanted to find a different place to eat for lunch, and Karakura seemed to be the best start with that. Walking through the shopping districts after a quick teleportation over to the town, Hiyori took the opportunity to look around, until eventually one place found her interest.
"Hmm..." she thought to herself, "I haven't had a good bowl of ramen in quite a little bit. Perhaps that would be a good substitute?" After a short moment of thought, she decided that would likely be the best option for her at this point. If nothing else, she'd rather enjoyed the idea of ramen for the afternoon. Just what had this place offered?
Walking in casually, keeping her kasa on as to protect sight toward her face, Hiyori walked into the building, and took a seat that remained somewhat open. Glancing around to see what a few folks were getting, she simply waited for someone to approach in order for her to place an order of some kind. When she eventually had that opportunity, she'd speak. "Just a bowl of Shoyu, please," she spoke politely. If nothing else, she wanted to keep it fairly simple.

Walking into the small restaurant by the name of “The Perfect Broth” Hiyori would find that most of the people inside the restaurant were finishing up their meals as it was just reaching the end of the lunch rush. Most days during the week were like this in fact, since the shop had opened many of the business folks several blocks away managed to scurry over here and get a healthy bowl. Although they’d only been open for a couple months the shop had started to get a nice reputation and pull in more money than Asmoskon ever expected it to make. What he had expected though was what just happened now with Hiyori walking inside, this though was overdue and soon to be dead on arrival.
Sitting in one of his two different seats Asmoskon was positioned in the back of the seated area with his back to the wall and his right side to the other with a small round table in front of him. Some knew him as a regular while others didn’t see anything beyond the man with an eye patch. It didn’t bother him any as he read a report on current events in the human world that pertain to the spiritual community. What caught his attention though was the reiatsu signature of a Quincy not far off suddenly appearing and then as if he could see her through the walls she appeared in his restaurant in that white uniform. “They’ve come.”
Hiyori would have to look over and pick him out if she were to see him right away, but over the course of the next minute or two everyone else would leave. Ren and Rin, the twin chefs, recognized the uniform on Hiyori as well. Both of whom would suddenly no longer be seen in the back after leaving to get further ingredients. One moment everything would seem perfectly normal where she’d be able to get a nice bowl of ramen only for the next to be empty. No noise from conversations happening around her, no movement, just undisturbed silence inside this small shop. Placing the papers down on the table in front of him would somehow sound like dropping a book to the floor in the silence as Asmoskon stares at Hiyori through his left eye.
Asmoskon had only one thought now, had he sent someone capable this time or would there be another dozen hiding and waiting like last time.

As time went on, and the noises from around her had died down a bit, Hiyori softly hummed to herself. A soft song, but one she knew quite well. The eerie silence was a bit off-putting, but she wasn't one to say much of anything on the matter. After all, that wasn't her priority here; she had sought to get some lunch, and that was the goal here! Hopefully nothing was to ruin such an event.
As the ramen was eventually placed in front of her, Hiyori took the opportunity to provide a slight bow of her head. "How much do I owe?" She'd ask softly. Assuming there was a price given thereafter, she'd gladly foot the bill. After all, such was simply customary in the Human World, as she'd well known on the matter. From there, she'd immediately begin to chow down on her lunch.
Though, as a soft 'bang' had echoed through the wall in front of her, Hiyori found herself pausing for a moment. Such an event certainly surprised her, but more importantly forced the girl to put up her guard. She'd continue eating, though at a noticeably slower pace than before, paying as much attention as she could in order to watch for the area in front of her. It was one thing for the shop to clear out; it was entirely another for something to happen that could cause such a loud noise like that. She couldn't help but feel the two situations were related in some way.
So, she'd watch carefully, prepared for whatever was to come. After all, being in full-uniform wasn't exactly the most inconspicuous thing to do, and loads of people weren't exactly fond of the Vandenreich. For her to be attacked in such a fashion? Surely it wasn't out of the norm, but it wasn't something that she was just going to let happen. Especially while she had the opportunity to enjoy lunch like this.

Quieter and quieter it grew to the point that no noise would be audible within the shop. Hiyori had received the basic bowl she’d asked for yet when asked Ren simply shook his head once from side to side sending her the universal sign one would interpret as no. He then walked away and wouldn’t be seen again just like his sister as they’d both retreated from the situation about to unfold. They’d worked so hard to establish themselves in such a short period of time now the entire thing was going to go up in flames, damn why’d one of them have to walk through now. “Damn it, couldn’t they find him on the street or at his apartment again. Why’d it have to be at the shop itself?”
Just like that everyone with the exception of the two Quincy were out of the restaurant and Asmoskon found himself standing up from his table and beginning to walk over to the female who’d that fool had sent to him this time. Last time Senshi had arrived with a decent sized squad in an attempt to assassinate him. Sending what he did though was more like a welcome back present from the Emperor. This being the second Asmoskon was expecting a Stern Ritter yet didn’t know the woman sitting at the counter.
He’d stop approaching once he got to the middle of the section now standing directly to her left only about ten feet away. “If you’re finished I’d prefer we do this somewhere else. The people here don’t deserve to have everything blown away.” Asmoskon usually was one to shoot the Vandenreich the moment he spotted one yet he’d been out of the game too long. He’d come across a few, but hadn’t locked any of them down. He had to get more information now for the future which meant he’d have to take his time and break this one down piece by piece.
Whether she was willing to leave the restaurant or not though Asmoskon knew that she could attack at any moment. His senses were fine tuned, enough that even the noise her clothing would make out of dunce would alter him that she would potentially be making a move against him. He’d start to walk out of the shop ready to go a short distance and then begin stepping up onto the air until he’d step off the air onto a roof several buildings down. A rooftop was the best choice at the moment.

Taking the time to carefully enjoy her bowl of ramen, Hiyori found herself completely surprised by the individual that had still been in the restaurant. Taken aback by the fact that this was an individual wanted by the Vandenreich, she found it rather odd that he'd been willing to just approach her so casually about something like this. Turning her attention to him while she was eating, only to let out a soft sigh, Hiyori looked down to her half-finished bowl. Seems she really wasn't going to get the opportunity to eat after all.
"You're Asmoskon Masurao, right?" She asked, "I remember you back during your time partially-affiliated with Seireitei. How have things been?" If nothing else, she wanted to make a bit of small talk with him. It seemed that she didn't have much of a choice to fight him, so she wanted to at the very least take the opportunity to get to know him a bit better. "I'll be right out, just let me know where you're wanting to head, yeah?" Regardless of what she was told, Hiyori reached into a pocket in order to throw a number of bills and coins on the counter in order to cover the meal that she'd been given. she might've been Vandenreich, but she wasn't evil.
Following the Quincy out, and up onto a nearby rooftop, she took the opportunity to stretch her limbs out a bit, a pair of swords manifesting at her hip. "Suppose that we might as well do this formally? Asmoskon Masurao, I challenge you to a duel until one of us yields. Do you accept?" She had a fairly good idea that he was going to accept such an offer, so in turn, she drew her blade and began to prepare herself mentally for what was to come. On her back, a banner of war partially-manifested itself. Across her body, a golden-green glow took hold.
She wasn't going to make the first move. Such just wasn't right; she was in no rush to fight this Quincy, and ultimately had been challenged herself. She was glad to turn over the first opportunity for an attack to her aggressor in that scenario. She had a feeling she'd be able to take it, but wasn't exactly in any rush to engage. Though, once he made the first move? All bets were off. If a duel had been agreed to, she was more than prepared to protect herself and beat down this Quincy to the best of her ability. Holding her katana in a low defensive stance, She squinted her eyes to keep an eye on her opponent.
{Class 6 - Arrow Form - 神剣 - Shinken (lit. 'Divine Sword')} The first of Hiyori's Bow Release properties, Shinken allows Hiyori to transform the arrows she fires into katana. This is an opt-in ability, and need not be activated with each firing of her bow. Upon activation of this property, two of these katana-arrows form immediately on Hiyori's hip at a Class equal to her own, for no cost. Each katana fired after that costs an additional 10 reiatsu per Class of the arrow. When this property is deactivated, all but the two katana on Hiyori's hip will revert to normal arrows.
{Class 4 - Power - 戦争の馬印 - Sensō Umajirushi (lit. ‘Uma-jirushi of War’)} Upon activation, a spiritual Uma-jirushi forms behind Hiyori, as though affixed to her or her armor. Said Uma-jirushi doesn’t impede her movements in any way, and simply exists quasi-realistically. While formed, Hiyori becomes a powerful commander, granting noteworthy benefits to her allies. Hiyori and those within 100 feet of her are granted a protective barrier with a durability equivalent to her Strength. This barrier protects from incoming attacks and effects, and deducts before any other defensive abilities. By spending the Reiatsu cost of an arrow, Hiyori can restore the durability on this barrier for all allies within the banner’s radius by an amount equal to 10-70% of her Strength, based on the costs paid, granting 1% per point of reiatsu spent. Regardless of the cost, this barrier is treated as Class 4.
By spending 50 Reiatsu, Hiyori can command her allies to reposition themselves within the banner’s radius, so long as they can see and/or hear Hiyori. Said command will add Hiyori's Offensive Stat on top of the ally's clash against movement-impairing abilities, allowing them to move should they succeed in said clash. This can move her Phantom Samurai. RPCs do not need to follow this command, but this impairment-breaking effect will only occur if they take the command, in addition to costing 75 reiatsu instead of the standard amount. Hiyori cannot command herself.

Asmoskon wasn’t surprised to hear that this Vandenreich could recognize him although what did catch his attention was what she gave as far as a reason for that recognition. Why would it matter to one of them that he had been affiliated with Soul Society? He’d always been against them so just matching up with another enemy wouldn’t catch that monster’s attention anymore than he could by himself. The way that she spoke was enough that Asmoskon could feel his nerves moving beneath his flesh, he could feel the heat of rage burning within his soul. Almost enough that he wouldn’t care if this entire block of Karakura was burned to the ground, but the hand of wisdom guided his actions at the moment out of the restaurant’s entrance.
Getting onto the top of the building he wouldn’t have to wait long for the Vandenreich to appear in front of him. Once she began to really take things seriously though he got a few more pieces to this puzzle. The appearance of a Quincy using swords, abnormal although not impossible by any means. Asmoskon could recall how when he’d first really started to climb in terms of strength he’d employed the use of axes. He’d abandoned those weapons though along with his skill towards them years ago yet the swords in this woman’s hands were held with practiced hands. Thousands of hours had been dedicated to their employ, which meant he couldn’t allow her to exercise her practice upon him.
"Suppose that we might as well do this formally? Asmoskon Masurao, I challenge you to a duel until one of us yields. Do you accept?"
“I see then, she doesn’t understand.” Thought Asmoskon after hearing the words of this Vandenreich. She may recognize him visually yet she knew nothing of him nor his purpose. She simply saw something that had some sort of vendetta against her group and wanted to fight. Pieces coming together that informed him she more than likely hadn’t been born into this war and thus didn’t truly understand it at the moment. It was time to educate this soldier on leave so she may return with another message to that unholy excuse for a Father.
Golden green reiatsu along with a banner manifesting behind her, all signs that she was ready along with the draw of her swords, answered in kind with Asmoskon’s own response. His reiatsu would burst from the seams of his figure like the water from a balloon rushing towards freedom. A large mass of black with only the crimson red holding near his body as it flares out. A twitch of his left hand brings his reiatsu rushing inwards forming into his pitch black longbow its beautiful figure reflecting the sunlight while he raises it up.
From the low stance she was taking Asmoskon was certain that she was going to attempt deflecting his first attack then rush in on him. He couldn’t be certain what that banner behind her did yet, but it couldn’t be underestimated which meant he had to gain the upperhand immediately. “I accept.” His reiatsu would flare once again yet this time it would feel almost smothering towards this Vandenreich. Utilizing Willpower: Cog Asmoskon was going to press on her instinctive survival state to force fear upon her only for arrows to be released at once. Five arrows all fired in sequence together four of which flew to strike at her joints while the fifth controlled by his index and middle fingers was set to pierce through that banner.
Technique Description and Effects: Willpower is a technique that is available to most who dwell within the human world, and has a variety of effects that make it a versatile and useful technique. This technique is one that manifests the willpower of the physical body. It essentially causes spirit and physical body to "become one" and merge their powers. There are two uses of it. The first is a non battle use, and is the main use. The main use is simply to know the technique, which slows the aging process of the body and allows the possessor to live easily as long as a Shinigami or Arrancar. This is a will-based technique, however, and thus, if will vanishes, so does its power to stop the aging, which quickly catches up. Mod Souls and Bounts have a minor version of this part at all times, which allows them to age slowly at all times; humans and Quincy learn this version at Class 1.
Willpower has three stages that are associated with it, as listed below:
•[Stage One: Cog]: By giving up 100 Reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them. This does NOT work on animals! It only works on "intelligent beings." This means unless it has a similar to human intelligence, this wont' work on an animal.

Watching as five arrows flew forward from the Quincy, Hiyori immediately felt herself be subject to what seemed like a rather intimidating presence. One that she very much did not care for, and one she knew would have to be dealt with to the best of her ability here and now. She needed to act!
Throwing up a suit of samurai armor around her as the arrows flew in, each one harmlessly 'tinked' off the plates that surrounded her, providing the girl with a rather impressive, and quite immediate defense against the man. As the last arrow flew through her uma-jirushi harmlessly, Hiyori took the opportunity to close the distance between herself and the Quincy ahead of her.
Drawing both blades at an impressive speed, and blasting forward with Hirenkyaku, the girl swung her arms out forward, looking to drive both blades into Asmoskon with as much force as she could muster; the goal here was attempted bisection, directly at the midriff. Though, she was fairly certain that her head-on attack wasn't exactly going to be successful; that much was rather evident, from someone that was likely to be such a strong opponent to fight head-on.
Instead, she simply sought to slash once more, reversing her grip on the sword in her left hand in order to rake it back through the Quincy, chasing after any movements he might've sought to make with her advantage over his own Speed. She'd been pushed into a corner rather quickly; emotionally manipulated through Willpower: Cog in order to feel like a caged animal. She was going to give it her all.
{Class 3 - Mass - 強力な要塞 - Kyōryokuna Yōsai (lit. ‘Mighty Bastion’)} Upon activation, Kyōryokuna Yōsai takes form as a suit of heavy samurai armor, covering Hiyori from head to toe. This armor will protect Hiyori against attacks with an OS equivalent to her Strength or less, but comes with another unique feature. By reducing her Speed by a chosen amount on activation (or after spending 50 Reiatsu to adjust after activating), she can increase the OS required to get through this armor by an equal amount. This effect functions similarly to the Spiritual Pressure/Reiatsu Strength transfer mechanic, though only affects this armor’s defense and does not alter Hiyori’s Strength otherwise, and can only be performed once per post. Activating this property alongside Blut removes the cut to regeneration, and halves the per-post reiatsu cost. The effects of Blut do not apply to Kyōryokuna Yōsai.

Asmoskon watched as this Vandenreich pushed through the intimidating aura that he unleashed over the rooftop only for his arrows to scratch off the surface of armor. Armor formed from her reiatsu that cloaked her body immediately after the notches of his arrows left his finger tips. The armor was recognizable right away with its distinction, a samurai Vandenreich. Asmoskon had seen some of them employ armor in the past while knowing that his own form property could be defined as armor of a sort, but never one such as this, it really confirmed for him that this woman hadn’t likely always been one of the old man’s toe suckers. Either way though the fact it could push off his arrows meant he couldn’t hold back as much against her now.
The fifth arrow didn’t get deflected by the armor though instead flying right through the banner that she displayed. Once again Asmoskon’s own experience in battle confirmed for him that the banner wasn’t something actually formed from reiatsu, but rather a sort of illusion that her ability placed passive around her. Similar to a marker for when whatever ability she was emploring turned on. Troubling but if he couldn’t destroy it then he’d just have to end this quickly before whatever ability it signified could be used against him. Destroying the building they were standing on wasn’t acceptable unless he was facing down multiple opponents. He had to crush her like all of the bugs, but killing innocent humans wasn’t something he wanted to keep doing, that part of his life was behind him now.
This left him with only a few different options, one of which he didn’t want to employ, but it seemed wouldn’t have a choice. This Vandenreich possessed physical attributes far above his own including the speed that he placed a painstaking amount of time towards developing. A step back as she rushes in on him was all he could do while employing Movement in order to accelerate his own speed. A push from his lower body enabling him to flip up off the roof and into the air while holding his bow and focusing his reiatsu. In a single moment the dark Quincy activates two of his own bow properties. A combination that he didn’t employ often yet one that would enable him to end this with as minimal damage to the surrounding as possible. Firing off three arrows from his longbow that immediately shift in form turning into strange versions of himself that all begin shouting at Hiyori.
The distance minimal and the speed of each the same as a typical arrow fired from a Quincy would make it hard to evade yet it wasn’t something impossible especially for a Vandenreich of her level. This was one of the reasons why Asmoskon utilizes his Aspects. Now each of them would be able to watch and witness everything that she would do and follow her on their own. The moment she attacked or was touched the Aspects would glow and surge then seep into her katana or armor melding with them only for her to experience pain above what many would consider possible. Each of his Aspects could explode in a massive pillar of reiatsu and whatever pain Hiyori would suffer from experiencing that explosion was guaranteed the moment she even touched his Aspects. Ruining Karakura was no longer necessary, Asmoskon could torture anyone now without leaving a trace.
Properties Active: 2
Remaining Reiatsu: 2,415/3,500 Movement: {-25} Class 4 Property: {-200} Class 3 Property: {-250} Arrows: (3x) (Class 1) {-210}
{Class 4 Property}Class 4 Property ----> Power Property ----> Never a Wasted Shot
Asmoskon's Primary power property enables every arrow fired from him to inflict harm upon any reiatsu entity struck by them. How this works is very simple: if Asmoskon's arrows were to make contact with someone that prevents the physical damage from occurring then physical damage will appear on that entity in the same spot that the arrow would have struck. Damage inflicted by this ability however are only fifty percent in damage compared to the actual physical damage that would have been inflicted naturally. This means that if an arrow would have penetrated four inches into an entity then by this ability the wound will only be two inches and half as thick.
This property does, though, affect entities through extensions of their reiatsu in a different manner than physical contact listed above in the previous paragraph. If an arrow managed to make contact with a different focused form of reiatsu than the arrow will actually seap into the opposing reiatsu without causing a clash or inflicting any sort of opposition. What does happen from this is an instant spike of pain inflicted to the location that the entity that casts the opposing reiatsu structure. As an example if an opposing entity were to cast a projectile reiatsu technique from their hand then that hand would feel as if the arrow had just pierced through it until the end of Asmoskon's next post. This aspect of the property doesn't work on entities that possess a spiritual offensive stat 50% higher than Asmoskon.
{Class 3 Property}Class 3 Property ----> Power Property ----> Aspects of the Archer
As strange as it may be this ability is one that manifests itself from not only Asmoskon's reiatsu but his emotions/personality as well. Arrows that are formed with this property actively take the appearance of miniature versions of Asmoskon. The "Arrows' ' bodies are mixed into two different sections the first being the head of the "Arrow" takes the appearance of Asmoskon's upper body while the second is long and thin resembling the end of a reiatsu arrow. The size of these arrows are about three feet while being a foot in width. These arrows possess the ability to speak while having full access to Asmsokon's memories and have different aspects of Asmoskon's own emotions/personality.
The true ability of these "Arrows' ' is the fact that they're able to explode causing massive damage to the surrounding area from the reiatsu that was used to create them. The size of each explosion is 10ft squared: 100 RS. Perhaps the most useful aspect of these "Arrows' ' though is the fact that each of them is able to fire the standard Quincy arrow from small bows that they're able to form their hands into. They can only fire arrows either lower or equal to their own class. at double the cost of normal. Although they're able to fire arrows themselves this drains reiatsu directly from Asmoskon. While each of these "Arrows' ' is part of Asmoskon they're only a part and thus they possess a skill of Archery 1 level lower than Asmoskon.
The explosion is caused by three different types of occurrences the first being a physical assault against them causing them to counter as their body is harmed. The second is that the "Arrows" themselves have the ability to self-destruct choosing when to explode. The third and final cause is Asmoskon's own will/command which can cause the "Arrows" to explode from a distance only a moment after Asmoskon snaps his fingers or speaks the word "Detonate".
This property has manifested from Asmoskon's resolve to accomplish his goals even if it costs him his life. Constantly living his life on the line and taking on challenges that have a high chance of leading to his death just so he may reach a new level of power from the experience itself. This recklessness and self-destructive nature of life is what has caused this property to develop the way that it has.
