The lion-like hollow and the boy were locked in a death-defying dance. Furious swipes slipped past the shinigami's bare torso or brushed aside stray locks of his hair. Ever-close, never touching. And similarly, Kazuhiko never reached out to him.
He seemed content to simply frustrate the beast with his rhythmic bobbing and weaving. Every failed swing led to greater and greater tension in the lion's body. He could literally -feel- the creature's frustration! And when it came to a head, the lion pounced! Right into a strange and painless counter-punch!
It inflicted no physical damage... But instead was a blow to the beast's pride. In that single instance, the lion began to understand the predicament it found itself in. It wasn't stalking. It wasn't even -chasing-. No longer was he the hunter... But the hunted. For seemingly the first time in its life, it knew what it was like to be in danger!
And like any cornered beast, he attacked! His charge this time was as sloppy as it was savage. A sudden and desperate lunge! A wrath-inspired reflex!
But unlike its last attack, it somehow found purchase!
Kazuhiko's shoulders hit the sand! A grunt of pain was barely audible over the lion's ferocious roar and the gnashing of its teeth! The sand was kicked up from the impact briefly obscuring the combat. But even through the dust, Eshin could make out the precarious position the Shinigami found himself in.
The beast was atop him! The red glow of the cero growing within its' mouth was so bright that it penetrated the sand! Blowing it away to reveal that the reality of the situation was not only exactly as it appeared, but worse!
Trapped within the beast's jaws was that strange prosthetic arm of Kazuhiko's. At this range, the boy would be obliterated. His arm would be the first to go. But then his stupid smiling face would be next!
...Wait.
Why was he smiling?
"Are you ready Lion-kun?" The sand beneath the boy began to churn. And a moment later a huge white pillar exploded into the heavens! It spun into a radiant spire. Turning and turning, until it began to recede back towards the pair of combatants!
The great white glow began to fill the vein-like channels of the curious metal arm! The pillar shrank as it was absorbed into his body and began to move down the rest of his arm. A steady stream of brilliant white positivity flowed like a river from his body all the way down to his wrist and into the fist that was hidden within the beast's maw. The plating trembled and began to separate under the swell of the growing power. Growing and growing until the light in the sky was completely gone.
"Hyaaku- Juunoou-!"
And as it did so, the scarlet light of the lion's cero waned! The light of Kazuhiko's arm was so great that it eclipsed it! Even as the lion let his cero loose against the knuckles of the boy's shikai!
The plating in the prosthetic suddenly slammed closed with the finality of a gun's hammer! "Kousou!" The red reiatsu of the cero scattered like the petals of a blood red cherry blossom! And the brilliant white light filled the beasts mouth! "OVERLOAD!" Before firing out the back of the quadripedal hollow!
If his punch felt like the chill of winter, this attack felt like falling into the Arctic Ocean! The rest of the lion hollow's reiatsu was blasted out of its body! Kazuhiko's technique struck the beast's soul like a freight train! And when the light passing through him faded into little more than whisps, so too did his ability to stay awake! Painlessly knocking the proud predator unconscious!

{Hyakujuunoou Kousou (Beast King's Bite)} - Kazuhiko causes a brief build-up of Reiatsu in his Shikai before firing it out in a burst of pure Reiatsu infused with Hyakujuunoou's effects. Those struck by it are put under the effect of Hyukujuunoou, which is to say their Reiatsu is sapped/diffused. Being hit by it feels like being hit by a strong gust of freezing cold wind. This can clash with techniques and moves at a speed of 800. This technique costs 100 reiatsu to use. However, Kazuhiko can double the cost to 200 in order to either increase the speed of the attack to 1000. Kazuhiko can spend up to 1000 Reiatsu to increase the potency of the reiatsu cap reduction by the same amount. This effect applies after the initial drain, so if the victim is afflicted by the percentage drain, it will be a percentage + the amount extra invested in the attack, up to 1000.
This attack can clash with techniques that involve Reiatsu. In the event of a clash, the defender must utilize a technique that spends more than the amount of Reiatsu invested by Kazuhiko to neutralize it. However, any amount of Reiatsu spent against the tech reduces the potency of the Reiatsu Cap Reduction by the same amount. Further, if the user is released, then it will be reduced by the upkeep of that release unless the cost of the technique is higher. If Beast King's Roar is clashing with multiple Reiatsu abilities, then this is addative. Meaning if there is a series of shields in the way, it will have to be reduced by each successive shield it clashes with until running out of force.
