Character Name: Miranda Frost
Summary: This CIU has a few changes. Rather than do multiple, I decided to compile them here to include: a Rank change from Lieutenant to Captain, a Rank up due to change in Rank, and inclusion of Miranda into the Kawada-clan Roster.
Current Rank: Lieutenant, Squad 1, Rank 2
New Rank: Captain, Squad 4, Rank 3
Thread Justification For Rank Change:
Kindred Souls The return of Lieutenant Tima has Miranda greatful and estatic, but the veteran shinigami sees something troubling under the surface. Inviting her back to his office, they would travel to her inner world together. They'd walk the dried, decayed colloseum of her heart until they arrived at its prisoner, her old zanpkauto spirit, the embodiment of the growing imbalance in her soul. Arantima sees her resolve and mentors her. After their visit to the inner world, Arantima grants a formal invitation to the Kawada-clan, which Miranda graciously accepts.
Rejecting Coming Corruption Miranda sets out on a personal mission to eradicate a cult built up in her home district, the same cult she escaped prior to becoming a shinigami. Miranda arrives and encounters strange experimental enemies that could be considered psuedo-failures. Working with elements of squad 2, she led the assault on the church and combatted with the church's head, a mysterious man wielding a blade of stone that predated the concept of the Zanpakuto. Its ability to cause the darkness within one's soul to swell to its breaking point caused the corruption in Miranda's soul to swell and imbalance it. Sucked into her inner world, she combatted this darkness and exiled it from her being, gaining the power of Bankai in the process.
The Terramoto: A time after becoming Lieutenant for Squad 1, Miranda learns of a rebel cell birthed from the cult she had purged previously on the fringes of the Rukongai. Gaining approval from the CC, Miranda takes a volunteer force out to quell this rebellion. Upon arriving in the district, she finds an unsanctioned weapon from disgruntled shinigami from squad 12 and stops opperations there. Upon doing this, it becomes under attack by the rebel force she set out to quell. During this attack, she helps secure the Terramoto and finds that the piece of her soul that she had broken off of herself to achieve bankai had survived and gained sentience of its own. This girl, a snapshot in time of her younger self, calls herself Mirim Frost and hints of underlying connections between this rebel force and a small group of "Mercenaries" known as the "Flock". Commander Sark, the mind behind the Terramoto, recognizes that Miranda will destroy the Terramoto herself once the rebellion is eradicated and tests it out just one time against the rebel base, setting the nearby wilderness ablaze in the process.
