Name: Elixir
Description: Conceptually, the various items of the Quincy Ginto have very little that differentiates them from the equivalent Kido Arts of the Shinigami. With research, adaptation, and training, Nuala and Monroe have been able to adapt the ginto and liquid reiryoku, via fullbring transformation, to a medium that others and themselves can make use of. They call these items "Ardor Mythica," and its practitioners are called "arcandor." Ardor Mythica makes use of a specially-prepared liquid reiryoku, called "Elixir," stored in soul-synthesized steel gourds, beil-axes, throwing points, and the Dragon's Tail, to provide the energy to create fast and powerful effects.
Class: 7-1
Item Type: Tool
Item Power (IP): 100 + 50 per Class (maximum 400)
Offense Type: Physical
Durability: x2 Item Power
Bonuses: This item acts as ammunition for other Ardor Mythica items.
In addition to its core function as ammunition, an ounce of Elixir can be consumed by a Bount, Hollow or other soul-feeding creature to serve as a replacement for a day's meals.
A character with at least 250 points after type between Reiatsu Strength, Spiritual Pressure, and Energy Sensory (with no less than 100 Reiatsu Strength) that has at least 1 rank in the Ardor Mythica skill can control the "flow" of Elixir within 15 feet of themselves: its acceleration, direction, and pressure. It moves with an effective Strength of up to its Item Power. It can be caused to move in any direction at a speed of up to half its Item Power. Elixir is inflammable, nonconductive, and can be breathed as a replacement or supplement for normal air (at a rate of four ounces per post).
Depending on their ranks in the Ardor Mythica skill, a character can accomplish the following with the appropriate Ardor Mythica items:
At 1 rank, an arcandor learns to push, energize and compress the Elixir, creating fast, short-lived effects.
At 2 ranks, the arcandor learns how to compress Elixir into physical objects, alter its properties and attach it to physical objects.
At 3 ranks, the arcandor learns to keep Elixir in its protomatter-like state, while also giving it properties such as weight and potential energy, or causing it to react like a chemical.
At 4 ranks, the arcandor can create chain reactions with Elixir, allowing them to create chains of effects with timed delays, and wield a different item from each of two different Elixir sources at the same time.
Drawbacks: Controlling Elixir costs 25 reiatsu per post.
Cost: 3,000 for 10 oz + 750 per Class (maximum 7500 for 10 oz)
Crafting Skills: Ardor Mythica 1-3 or Crafting 1-3
Donated to Urahara's: No
